Batistas in-ring return date is tentatively slated for WWE Survivor Series, which takes place in Washington, DC. There was some optimism that he would try to return later this summer, but given reports that he is becoming aware of ages impact on his body, it appears he is not going to risk returning too early.

In a likely indication that they are through with the company, the official TNA website has removed the pictures of multiple wrestlers from its roster page.
Among those removed from the page include Jacqueline, Raven, and Naito & Yujiro of the No Limit tag team.
Jacqueline had not appeared on television in recent months, Raven was believed to be working on a pay-per-appearance deal, and the contracts of No Limit were set to expire soon.
Shane Douglas was also recently removed from the roster page. He was working on a pay-per-appearance deal.
According to a source, WWE Diva Rosa Mendes was told by management to slim down. Reportedly, she took the comment to heart and has dropped weight in recent weeks.
As noted earlier, last nights episode of ECW saw the debuts of four wrestlers in Yoshi Tatsu (Naofumi Yamamoto), Abraham Washington (Brian Jossie), Sheamus (Stephen Farrelly) and Tyler Reks (Gabriel Tuft). However, both wrestlers and fans alike shouldnt get too comfortable quite yet as the four newcomers were considered in the eyes of creative as not full-fledged ECW wrestlers, but rather, wrestlers being looked at for possible spots on ECW. At this point, none are considered to be official members of the ECW roster.
Keep your eyes peeled on ECW over the next few weeks as more developmental wrestlers will be tested out for possible spots on the roster. Given the limited amount of roster spots in ECW and extraordinary number of wrestlers in developmental, unfortunately, not everyone will make it. Given WWEs lack of patience for young stars, its definitely a sink or swim situation.
Yoshi Tatsu def. Shelton Benjamin Sheamus def. local competitor Vladimir Kozlov & William Regal def. ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer & Christian
FRESNO, Calif. Thanks to Donald Trumps blockbuster 15-Superstar trade and ECWs New Superstar Initiative, the Land of the Extreme is a changed place. The New Era of ECW is full of new faces and plenty of hungry ECW Superstars ready to make an Extreme impact on Tuesday nights.
Vladimir Kozlov & William Regal def. ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer & Christian (PHOTOS | WATCH) Sunday nights Bash competitors became tag team partners on ECW this week, when ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer joined Christian to face Vladimir Kozlov and William Regal, the later who arrived via Trumps trade. Dreamer & Christian seemed to put their differences aside for the match, but their bond wasnt strong enough to withstand the impact of The Moscow Mauler and his English partner. The ECW Original lost the tag team match after the unstoppable Kozlov pinned him for the win. How will Regals presence affect ECW? Who will dare to get in the ring the brutal Kozlov? What's next for Captain Charisma? And when will Dreamer defend the ECW Championship next?
Yoshi Tatsu def. Shelton Benjamin (PHOTOS) ECWs General Manager, Tiffany, said ECW is the place to see the best, most talented, young Superstars in WWE today, and Yoshi Tatsu is proof. Shelton Benjamin made his return to ECW as part of Trumps trade, but was bested by one of Tuesday nights newest Superstars, Tatsu, who arrived via the New Superstar Initiative. The Japanese Superstar made an impressive debut in the Land of the Extreme, when he defeated The Gold Standard quickly with one swift kick and a pin after plenty of taunting and teasing from Benjamin. After making such a shocking debut, which Superstar will have the nerve to face brave newcomer Tatsu?
Sheamus def. local competitor (PHOTOS) Irish eyes were smiling widely upon Sheamus during his ECW debut. Sheamus who also arrived in ECW as part of the New Superstar Initiative earned his first Extreme victory over a local competitor Tuesday night. Sheamus comes from Ireland and a long line of tough, Irish Superstars such as Finlay, who moved to SmackDown in Trumps trade. Its clear this new ECW Superstar is poised to make an impact in the Land of the Extreme. How will his arrival affect ECW on Sci Fi?
"The Abraham Washington Show" debuts with The Bella Twins (PHOTOS | WATCH) Abraham Washington also made his ECW debut Tuesday night with his self-titled talk show. The special guests for his inaugural show were none other than the newest Extreme Divas Nikki & Brie Bella. The sisters told Washington and the WWE Universe that being identical twins has its advantages and its disadvantages, in and out of the ring. The Bellas discussion turned into a bit of sibling rivalry-tinged argument, of which Washington found himself caught in the middle. How will Washington and The Bellas arrival on ECW impact Tuesday nights?
Zack Ryder meets Tyler Reks Enthusiastic newcomer Tyler Reks met his future competition Tuesday night. The Southern California-raised, surf-loving Superstar approached Zack Ryder in the ECW locker room just two days before their match on WWE Superstars. Ryder quickly told the rookie to get a few things straight the best beaches are on his native Long Island, N.Y., and he better eat his avocado rolls to toughen up before their match Thursday night. Will Reks be as successful as the others in ECWs New Superstar Initiative when he faces Ryder on WWE Superstars? Tune in Thursday night at 8/7 CT on WGN America.
Tony Atlas' future with WWE is very much in doubt following the transfer of his associate, Mark Henry, to the RAW brand this past Monday.
Company officials plan on pushing the "World's Strongest Man" as a top babyface, which as a result, has left Atlas to fend for himself as he is not being brought alongside him.
The WWE Hall of Famer's contract is coming due in a few weeks and it remains uncertain whether it will be renewed.
It'll be interesting to see what they do with Hornswoggle in the coming weeks as well.
The PWTorch.com Newsletter is reporting that former WWE diva Candice Michelle fell out of favor with WWE management because of her weight when she worked out in the ring last month in Los Angeles.
Candice was rehabbing an injury and WWE officials apparently believe she showed up to TV out of shape and not looking ready for TV.
You can see pictures of Candice Michelle after a big weight gain a while ago at this link.
- As seen on tonights ECW on Sci-Fi, several new members debuted on the main roster from developmental.
* Yoshitatsu debuted and defeated Shelton Benjamin with one single move after Shelton mocked him for 2 minutes. He is the former Naofumi Yamamoto who has been signed to a WWE deal since September of 2008. He has worked for New Japan Pro Wrestling in the past.
* Abraham Washington, real name Brian Jossie, debuted his new talk show called The Abraham Washington Show. It was a rough segment to watch and his first guests were The Bella Twins. Hes been acting as the general manager down in FCW and his gimmick is a take off of Barack Obama. He has trained at Ohio Valley Wrestling before and has been signed with WWE since September of 2008.
* Sheamus, better knonwn as Sheamus OShaunessy also debuted defeating a local independent wrestler. Sheamus was a star in Ireland before being signed by WWE in April of 2007. Hes worked numerous WWE dark matches and live event matches in the past year. Sheamus has held the Heavyweight Title in FCW before.

There was some confusion backstage over the trade storyline on RAW last night, and several wrestlers had trouble with the logic of how it played out on TV. PWInsider.com reports that the decision to switch the talent was made in the last week or so. The moves were done by WWE to make RAW and Smackdown stronger.
Matt Hardy gave his thoughts on a wrestling journalist for assuming that he spoiled his move to SmackDown on his Twitter.
I love how a guy who considers himself a top-notch wrestling journalist claimed I spilled the beans by posting I was traded to Smackdown when it had been up on WWE.com for almost an hour. He suggested maybe I had permission to post that, while it was already public info and all over the internet already. Hes quite an arrogant goof when it comes to matters like this. Hes constantly wrong in his reviews and regularly incorrect on matters. But my biggest complaint is that often insults talent, matches, or ideas just to seem cool. If you want to be looked at as a serious journalist, have your facts straight & remain professional by not insulting who keeps you in business. Not that my opinion is important, but thats my opinion. I absolutely LOVE the true fans of the business, especially the positive ones who unconditionally respect all the pain, injuries, & sacrifices that ALL pro wrestlers go through to keep this wonderful business alive. Matt said.
Evan Bourne is looking forward to moving to the Raw brand after he was traded on Monday night's episode of WWE Raw. Bourne posted the following on his Twitter page: "Moves to RAW! Very excited about the multitude of opportunities that just landed on my plate!✌✌"
After his match at this past Sundays The Bash PPV with John Cena, The Miz wrote the following on his Twitter page after the decisive loss: "Most would want me to say something about the bash. Well.....I'm still awesome."
TNA president Dixie Carter recently spoke to TNAWrestling.com, here are the highlights:
On WWE & TNAs ratings: We want everyones ratings to go up. In order to succeed, we dont think we have to take ratings away from anyone else. As a wrestling industry, we all have to grow the fan-base worldwide. We cant just say were going to beat Raw (in the ratings). Right now, thats unrealistic. We had to start with the more obtainable goal to beat the ratings of our competitors third-rated show, ECW and weve done that. I have heard people say, Its not a big deal to beat their lowest rated show, but I disagree. Its a huge success for TNA, which five years ago had just 300,000 viewers in a Friday afternoon timeslot on Fox Sports. So now were setting our sights on their second-rated show, Smackdown and that gap has closed significantly over the past six months.
Impacts timeslot: Thursday nights are tough. Besides being the most competitive night on TV for networks, we are always up against the biggest sporting events, including high-profile playoffs games. The recent NBA Playoffs had record ratings success, yet TNA held its own. As Spike officials have said, and I agree, God Bless the TNA fans. Nothing is set in stone, but no move is being planned right now. Our goal has always been to be competitive and go head-to-head against one of our competitors programs. So we hope that might happen sometime in the future.
On the current state of the wrestling industry: The audience of 2009 is significantly different from the audience during the height of the WWF-WCW run. And we have to continue to change accordingly. Todays fans are smarter, more involved. They dont want their intelligence insulted, and we have been guilty of that at times in the past. Can we please everyone all the time? No, thats not realistic. But you have to strive to please them much more than not.
On TNAs progress: Until we are the biggest wrestling company in the world, we wont be satisfied. [ ] We have not been infused with hundreds of millions of dollars, nor had a parent company that is a network. We have fought hard for every bit of success we have attained. Weve done it fan by fan, success by success. And that, to me, is what makes TNA special, because it truly is a company of the fans; theyve been the ones who have allowed us to grow. [ ] I think we have accomplished more in the last six- to 12-months than we have in the last several years. I look at our ratings over the last year, and they are up about 20 percent.
On AJ Styles: Simply PHENOMENAL. He has taken the in-ring product to another level and is really starting to embrace his own stardom, which is a big part of being a star. I am so proud when I hear the ovation he gets around the world when he enters the arena; it usually is the loudest of the night. He has helped build TNA. AJ is the first and only TNA Gland Slam winner, and his time is just beginning.
-- The word going around the locker room is that Vickie Guerrero was only being paid $500 per appearance by WWE. On top of that, she had to cover her own hotel and road expenses.
Typically, talent on the main roster net a $75,000 downside guarantee at the very least, so her salary was drastically below even the lowest paid main roster performers in the company.
Some wrestlers are understandably fired up over this rumor, as the feeling is that the company could have done more to take care of a person who was such an integral part of WWE.
Although, it's worth noting that WWE paid for Eddie Guerrero's funeral and likely did more to help out Vickie financially than the locker room is aware of.

SAN JOSE - One week after purchasing Monday Night Raw back from Donald Trump, Mr. McMahon had two shocking announcements for the WWE Universe. First, The WWE Chairman announced that he would be shaking things up by way of a 15-Superstar trade originally set into motion by former Raw owner Donald Trump, that would see five new ring warriors brought to the Raw roster. Even more shocking, McMahon revealed that the show would henceforth have a series of special guest hosts, starting that very night with The Animal, Batista.

WWE Champion Randy Orton def. Evan Bourne and Jack Swagger (count-out); Mark Henry def. Orton (3-on-1 Gauntlet Match) (PHOTOS | WATCH) WWE Champion Randy Orton took to the ring for Raws main event outnumbered and unaware of whom he would face in his 3-on-1 Gauntlet Match. The Viper knew that his opponents would all be new to Raw, but they also turned out to all be from ECW. Ortons first opponent was the high-flying Evan Bourne. Fighting through injuries sustained at The Bash, The Legend Killer managed to ground Air Bourne with a RKO from the top rope and follow it up with a pin.
Ortons next opponent was Jack Swagger. Though the WWE Universe expected The All-American American to give The Viper a run for his money, Swagger exited the ring, allowing The Legend Killer to pick up a win by count-out. Following the match, the former ECW Champion announced that he has always respected The Legend Killer and hoping to make an impression his first night on Raw, shook Ortons hand.
The Vipers final challenge was another former ECW Champion: Mark Henry. The Worlds Strongest Man also proclaimed that he had always respected Orton, and exited the ring after a short struggle with The Viper. Unlike Swagger though, Henry re-entered the ring before being counted out, and defeated the WWE Champion by taking advantage of Ortons post Three Stages of Hell Match injuries to pin Orton.
United States Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Big Show ended in a double count-out (PHOTOS) Though Kofi Kingstons United States Championship wasnt hanging in the balance during his match with Big Show, if The Worlds Largest Athlete were to win, he would earn a future title opportunity. The Jamaican Craze may have bought himself a brief reprieve, however, as there was no clear winner declared due to both ring warriors being counted out.
Mickie James def. Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix and Rosa Mendes to become No. 1 contender for the Divas Championship (STORY | PHOTOS | WATCH) Divas Champion Maryse looked on from the commentary table as four of WWEs sexy, smart and powerful Divas competed for the opportunity to challenge for the Divas Title at Night of Champions. To the French Canadian champions dismay, fan-favorite Mickie picked up the win by pinning Rosa Mendes, finally earning the chance to face Maryse one-on-one.
Next weeks Raw special guest host to be The Million Dollar Man As Cody Rhodes attempted to encourage WWE Champion Randy Orton going into his 3-on-1 Gauntlet Match, Ted DiBiases spoke on his cell phone. The third-generation Superstar got off the phone all smiles, as he revealed that the next special guest host would be his father, The Million Dollar Man.
John Cena def. The Miz to advance in the Night of Champions Tournament (PHOTOS | WATCH) One day after being handed a crushing defeat at The Bash, The Miz had an opportunity to not only get back at John Cena, but push himself one step closer to the WWE Title. Despite an impressive showing from the self-proclaimed chick magnet, Miz must have ended up feeling déjà vu, however, as the 12 Rounds star racked up another victory, earning the right to face Triple H for the WWE Title No. 1 contendership on the next Raw.
Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Edge & Chris Jericho def. Carlito & Primo (PHOTOS | WATCH) Carlito & Primo wasted no time in invoking their rematch clause, challenging for the Unified WWE Tag Team Titles just one day after losing them to Edge & Chris Jericho at The Bash. Appearing on Raw to defend the WWE-wide titles, the egotistical SmackDown duo showed why they deserve to hold their prestigious tag team gold by defeating the brothers from San Juan.
Triple H def. MVP to advance in the Night of Champions Tournament (PHOTOS | WATCH) Raws first match with Batista as special guest host saw The Game, still suffering from his Three Stages of Hell Match against Randy Orton the night before at The Bash, take on the dynamic MVP. In spite of The Ballin Superstars momentum in recent weeks and The Games injuries, Triple H rose to the challenge, defeating MVP to move ahead in the Night of Champions Tournament.
Mr. McMahon announced a 15-Superstar trade for all three WWE brands and revealed the first Raw special guest host to be Batista; The Animal put WWE Champion Randy Orton in a 3-on-1 Gauntlet Match and set up a Night of Champions Tournament to determine the No. 1 contender for the WWE Title (PHOTOS) Only a week after buying Monday Night Raw back from Donald Trump, Mr. McMahon appeared on the show to reveal that several of The Donalds ideas were actually swiped from The WWE Chairman. In an effort to honor what were originally good ideas, McMahon decided to go along with two of them.
The first is a blockbuster 15-Superstar trade held between all three WWE brands that will see Raw invigorated with substantial new blood. The Chairmans second new idea will see Raws General Manager position eradicated in favor of a series of special guest hosts. McMahon then shocked the WWE Universe by introducing the first guest host: Batista.
Before the injured Animal could fully greet the WWE Universe, he was interrupted by WWE Champion Randy Orton and his Legacy, who threatened to attack Batista again and injure his other arm. But Batista wielded the power of a Raw General Manager over the multi-generational Superstars, threatening them with termination if they crossed him, and placing The Viper in a 3-on-1 Gauntlet Match against three of Raws five new Superstars. Directly afterward, The Animal announced a Night of Champions Tournament for the right to face Orton at the upcoming pay-per-view. The first round of which would take place on Raw, with Triple H facing MVP and John Cena squaring off against The Miz.
As confirmed by the talent herself Sunday, Lilian Garcia's tenure with World Wrestling Entertainment is nearing its conclusion.
Garcia, who debuted with WWE (then WWF) in 1999, announced that her decision to get married also included a decision to move into the next phase of her life, and that means waving goodbye to her WWE career. No end date has been announced (other than Garcia confirming that it will be at the end of her contract term), but the word from backstage is that Garcia will not be on television much longer.
At press time, no decision had been made on a replacement for Garcia. WWE began searching for a young, attractive female announcer with singing ability earlier this summer, but there are no indications that it has yet hired a replacement. If WWE instead opts to promote internally, the two frontrunners are developmental Diva Angela Fong (who has been announcing at house shows) and ECW's Tiffany (real name Taryn Terrell).
R-Truth b. Shelton Benjamin prior to tonight's Bash pay-per-view in Sacramento, California.
Kane officially returned to WWE at The Bash by interfering during the The Great Khali vs. Dolph Ziggler match. Kane proceeded to hit Khali continually with a chair.
Earlier this month we covered a story here on NoDQ.com about WWE posting a job listing looking for "a young attractive female to sing the national anthem and be our regular ring announcer every week." Lilian confirmed on her offical website this morning that she has in fact given her notice to WWE management. She wrote the following:
Hi Everyone,
I hope all of you are doing well! I am writing to address the situation in which WWE is looking for a Female Ring Announcer/Singer. The truth of the matter is that they are looking for someone new because I have given them my notice that I will be leaving at the end of my contract this year. It is with a heavy heart that I have made this decision because WWE has been my family from day one and you, the WWE Universe have always been incredible to me. The fact is that I am getting married later this year and have decided to enter into a new phase of my life but I will truly miss all of you and the WWE tremendously.
Love you all & keep rockin!
Forever Rockin', Lilian
It should be noted that WWE developmental diva Angela Fong has been on the house
