World Heavyweight Champion Edge def. Chris Jericho (non-title)

DAYTON, Ohio – Just two nights before Judgment Day, mayhem came to the land of SmackDown when Jeff Hardy, CM Punk, Umaga and Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio crashed the party.

World Heavyweight Champion Edge def. Chris Jericho (non-title) (PHOTOS | VIDEO)
When World Heavyweight Champion Edge and Chris Jericho collided in the main event, The Ultimate Opportunist picked up the win after Jericho was disqualified for bringing a steel chair into the ring.

But the action was far from over.

Chaos ensued when Jeff Hardy ran into the ring, hitting Edge with a Twist of Fate. Next, the high-flyer leaped from the top rope onto Jericho.

Capitalizing on the mayhem, CM Punk rushed into the arena, hoping to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and take Edge’s title. However, Punk was once again stopped by Umaga.

With Umaga and Punk battling it out, Judgment Day opponents Hardy and Edge continued to wage war outside the ring. As their battle spilled out into the WWE Universe, Punk and Umaga continued to slug it out on the arena floor.

Finally, Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio stormed into the arena to attack Jericho and make his own statement just hours before Judgment Day.

Who’s really in charge? (PHOTOS | VIDEO)
At the start of the night, Edge and Chris Jericho traded words over who really runs SmackDown. After stating he’s been given a raw deal on Friday nights, Jericho looked out across the WWE Universe and claimed a conspiracy has been “orchestrated and perpetrated by all of you fraudulent, gelatinous parasitic tapeworms.” But, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long cleared the air and let everyone know who’s really in charge – the WWE Universe! Next, the GM announced Edge and Jericho would square off in the main event. Holla! Holla! Holla!

CM Punk & John Morrison def. Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas (PHOTOS | VIDEO)
Ever since the WWE Draft – and distancing himself from The Miz – John Morrison has continued to make bold statements on SmackDown, including defeating Charlie Haas last week. Tonight, Morrison teamed with a partner of his choosing – CM Punk. Once again, using the Starship Pain, The Friday Night Delight put away Haas. Before the bout, Benjamin & Haas confronted Morrison in the locker room area. (VIDEO)

This Sunday, Benjamin will have an opportunity at revenge against Morrison when the two square off at Judgment Day. (Preview)

Jeff Hardy def. Ricky Ortiz (PHOTOS | VIDEO)
Using a triple assault of a Whisper in the Wind, Twist of Fate and Swanton Bomb, Jeff Hardy stopped Ricky Ortiz cold. After the victory, the high-flyer predicted a win over World Heavyweight Champion Edge at Judgment Day. (Preview)

Dolph Ziggler def. Jimmy Wang Yang (PHOTOS)
Last week on SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler made a strong statement by viciously attacking The Great Khali with a steel chair. Tonight, after defeating Yang, Ziggler was confronted by The Great Khali, who was out for revenge. In one fell swoop, The Punjabi Giant lifted Ziggler up and over the top rope with one hand and tossed him out onto the arena floor. The big 7-footer then chased Ziggler out of the arena. Ziggler can run, but can he hide forever from the massive giant?

    R-Truth def. Mike Knox (PHOTOS)
Using his quickness and athleticism, R-Truth was able to down formidable foe Mike Knox using a corkscrew elbow.

Women’s Champion Melina & Gail Kim def. Michelle McCool & Alicia Fox (PHOTOS)
In recent weeks, Gail Kim and Michelle McCool have traded wins in singles competition. On this night, it was Kim who came out on top when her partner, Women’s Champion Melina, stunned McCool with a high-impact maneuver to set up the pinfall.

    Quick Results:
    - Daniels defeats Chris Sabin.
    - Samoa Joe defeats Eric Young.
    - Awesome Kong defeats Kip James in a stretcher match.
    - Doug Williams and Brutus Magnus defeat Suicide and Amazing Red.
    - Kevin Nash defeats No Limit in a handicap match.
    - Booker T defeats Jethro Holiday in an I Quit match.

    Full Report:

    - Foley hits the ring. Tenay hypes up an incident that took place earlier in the day between Jarrett and Foley in Nashville. Mick gets out a copy of Jeff Jarrett’s new DVD set and says that before he watched it he had forgotten about Jarrett’s contributions to founding TNA. He then claims however that unfortunately Jarrett will not be part of tonight’s show. In fact he feels a little responsible for it himself. He teases that he has video footage of the rumored incident and it may be hard to watch. He tease about putting it on, and says he’ll play bits throughout the night.

    - Backstage JB is with Main Event Mafia minus Kurt Angle who is shooting footage for a movie. Steiner says he was top of the class and makes a grand quote. JB asks if that’s from the Lion King? Steiner then says “yeah I’m a lion”. The heat with Sharmell and Morasca continues.

    - After the break JB catches Foley taking down Jarrett’s picture as if Foley is taking over the company and getting rid of Jeff’s stuff. Mick downplays it and says he’s fixing a crack in the glass. Eric Young comes in pleading once again for an opportunity. Foley gets pissed and books him against Samoa Joe.

    - Daniels defeats Chris Sabin:
The match ends when Shelley gets up on the but Daniels knocks him off and hits an Enziguri followed by a Book-End on Sabin. Daniels completes the sequence with a BME.

    - Backstage Foley is talking to the referees and chooses Earl Hebner to screw Eric Young because he has the “screwjob thing going on”. He command Earl not to disqualify Joe at any point during the match.

    - Steiner tries to get Jenna Morasca to reconcile with Sharmell.

    - Backstage Angelina Love introduces the returning Kip James, who will face Kong later tonight!

    - Some of the video footage plays. It’s Jarrett and his daughters jet skiing and driving around in a golf cart. It seems to be setting the scene for later.

    - Samoa Joe defeats Eric Young:
Samoa Joe destroys Eric Young, finishing the match with a Coquina Clutch. Afterward he continues the beating and drags Young backstage.

After the break we see Joe put EY in the trunk of a car, which then speeds off. Did Taz just kidnap Eric Young!

    - Next is a sitdown interview between Mike Tenay and former champ Sting. The piece is focused around Sting putting his career on the line at Sacrifice if he loses.

    - Lauren is accompanying Taylor Wilde on her blind date, but things soon go sour when Daffney arrives and reveals that she was the admirer all along. In a brutal segment Taylor is clotheslined and dragged up some stairs where Daffney threatens to throw her off the balcony! Lauren comes at her with some broken glass and she walks off doing the Daffney laugh. Am I the only one that thinks Daffney is hot? I guess I must be a tortured soul.

    - Back to the Jeff Jarrett footage. He picks his kids up from school and one of his daughters is reading a children’s book in the car. Jeff says Mick has lost his mind and that she should read it to him. The joke that Booker T is actually called Booger T.

    - Awesome Kong defeats Kip James in a stretcher match:
Kip humorously gets destroyed by Kong!

    - Steiner lies to Sharmell that Jenna is going to apologize and sends her to meet her. This can’t end well.

    - Team 3D plug the tag division before The British invasion take them out

    - Back to Jarrett in Nashville where he soes some activities and ends up seeing Borash outside a nude Karaoke Bar. LOL.

    - Doug Williams and Brutus Magnus defeat Suicide and Amazing Red:
The British Invasion cheat to win by throwing Red to the outside and distracting the ref as the Machine Guns take out Suicide.

After the match they call to unmask Suicide and Lethal Consequences come to help. They nearly reveal his identity, but Daniels makes the save, proving it can’t be Daniels after all.

    - Sharmell and Morasca end up fighting.

    - Kevin Nash squashes No Limit in a handicap match.

    - Foley and Socko are watching more Jarrett footage.

    - Lauren interviews AJ, who cuts a basic promo about his I Quit Match with Booker T at the PPV.

    - Booker T defeats Jethro Holiday in an I Quit match:
Booker T wins after using a chair on Jethro. For some reason Sharmell distracts the ref. I guess TNA’s I Quit matches have different rules.

    - The final segment brings Foley back out to the ring where he plays the rest of the Jarrett footage. Jarrett is shown outside the TNA Asylum in Nashville, where TNA’s early shows were taped. He takes fans on a tour of the building reliving some of his memories. He eventually takes us to where his office was, but out of nowhere Foley wraps a cable around his neck and beats him to a pulp all over the arena. Foley stops him and tells Jeff “Welcome back to the Asylum, Jeffrey”. Foley says that Jeff learned the harsh reality that sometimes you can’t go home.

    REY GEBLESSEERD TIJDENS WWE SUPERSTARS

Rey Mysterio injured during WWE Superstars taping

Rey Mysterio was injured on Tuesday night during his match with Shelton Benjamin. Jim Ross wrote about the situation in his latest JRsBarBQ.com blog, "Rey Mysterio got banged up by a very physical Shelton Benjamin in a match that will air Thursday night," Ross said on JRsBarBQ.com. "Benjamin's aggression banged up the IC Champion to the level that Rey was unable to make much of an impact on Friday Night Smackdown but somehow the incredible Mysterio does manage to put his unique stamp on Friday night's show." Ross added that Rey's Intercontinental title defense against Chris Jericho this Sunday at Judgment day is "definitely still on" and he expects that "it will likely be a viable candidate for match of the PPV."

    UPDATE OVER SMITH

Details on DH Smith's return to WWE TV

As seen on this week's episode of ECW on Sci Fi, DH Smith made his ECW debut, brutally attacking Finlay during his match with Tyson Kidd. He is now going under the name David Hart Smith and has aligned himself with the Hart Dungeon-trained wrestler as well as his valet Natalya. The announcers referred to the trio as The Hart Trilogy.

The pairing was expected as Kidd and Natalya were informed a few weeks ago that Smith would be joining them sometime soon.

Prior to his appearance tonight, Smith had not appeared on television in just over a year, his last appearance taking place on the May 5, 2008 episode of RAW.

Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio def. Shelton Benjamin
ECW Champion Christian def. Mark Henry
    Big Show def. Hornswoggle (Disqualification)

According to the tale of the tape, this Thursday night had three separate David vs. Goliath match-ups, as Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio, ECW Champion Christian and Hornswoggle each faced off against men much larger than them in stature when “WWE Superstars” aired on WGN America.

Don’t know where to catch “WWE Superstars?” Find WGN America in your area. Can't see WWE Superstars on WGN America in your area? Stay with WWE.com for full results, photos and video clips of all the action.

Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio def. Shelton Benjamin (Photos | Watch)
Despite Shelton Benjamin’s size advantage, Rey Mysterio is The Ultimate Underdog and proved why he is dubbed just that with an impressive win over The Gold Standard. With a lot of fast-paced, high-flying action between the two, both Superstars fought tooth and nail trying to subdue their opponent and pick up the victory. The Master of the 619 was finally able to put away the gifted athlete that is Shelton Benjamin while John Morrison, who took a seat at the announce table prior to the bout, was clearly on The Gold Standard's mind. Following the match, The Friday Night Delight took to the ring to exact his own revenge on Benjamin after he similarly cost him his match against Chris Jericho just one week before. With tension rising rapidly between the two, what will come next in the rivalry between The Shaman of Sexy and The Gold Standard? Also, with just three days before the Intercontinental Champion defends his title against the devious Chris Jericho at Judgment Day, will this victory give Mysterio the momentum he needs to come out on top this Sunday?

ECW Champion Christian def. Mark Henry (Photos | Watch)
In a non-title match against The World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry, it looked as though the deck was seriously stacked against ECW Champion Christian on “WWE Superstars.” Although Captain Charisma has shown that he is able to overcome the odds time and time again, at points in the bout, it seemed as though Henry’s size advantage and immeasurable strength might have had Christian beat. Thankfully for all his “peeps” out there, the ECW Champion used his whole body to topple the massive Superstar as he came flying off the top rope with a cross body block that allowed him to get the pin and the win. Now, Christian can focus all his energy on defeating “The All-American American” Jack Swagger in the ECW Championship rematch at Judgment Day.

Big Show def. Hornswoggle in an Exhibition Match (Photos | Watch)
With almost a 3-foot and more than 300-pound advantage over his opponent, it was no question that Big Show had the upper hand going into this cruelly put together Exhibition Match against Hornswoggle. No matter how much heart he showed, there was almost no chance for Finlay’s son to come out of this match against The World’s Largest Athlete without sustaining serious harm or even possible injury. While Big Show toyed with the pint-sized Superstar at first, there were certainly no laughs from the WWE Universe or Hornswoggle as he wound up to deliver his devastating knockout punch. Thankfully, before a fist was thrown, Goldust came to the rescue, allowing Hornswoggle to walk from the ring. Unfortunately, no good deed goes unpunished, as The Bizarre Superstar was on the receiving end of Big Show’s wrath and wound up being incapacitated by a devastating chokeslam. Was this brutal attack just a taste of what The World’s Largest Athlete has planned for this Sunday in his match against John Cena?

New TNA Knockout introduced during webshow

New TNA Knockout introduced during webshow

TNA newcomer Sarah Stock was formally introduced in the latest episode of TNA En Espanol Con Willie Urbina on YouTube.com. During the interview, her ring name is revealed to be "Sarita."

The segment features a behind the scenes
photo shoot Stock recently took part in, highlights from her recent dark matches against Awesome Kong and Taylor Wilde, and an interview Hector Guerrero conducted with her in Spanish.

During the interview, Stock discusses her wrestling background and notes the contrast in styles between Mexico and the United States. She says the Mexican style of wrestling is very different, but she's going to do the best she can.

Stock also adds it's her intention to dominate the women's division and she plans on reaching her goal by going up against the best TNA has to offer. She notes her two matches against Awesome Kong and Taylor Wilde, saying right from the start, TNA has put her up against the best they have to offer. Basically, Stock says she just want to prove that she's the best wrestler in the women's division.

    UPDATE HEMME

Christy Hemme took part in an interview this past week saying she still can't give a timetable on when she'll be able to return to the ring after deciding not to have neck surgery to help heal her seriously injured neck.

"I opted not to have neck surgery because I don't like the idea of fusing bones together when you can heal it naturally," Hemme said. "I haven't wrestled since November and I'm feeling really good and getting a lot stronger and waiting it out until I can get back in the ring."

While the TNA Knockout suffered the neck injury training for a pay-per-view match, she says the injury was inevitable after accumulating a variety of injuries as a result of being "knocked around in the ring."

In other highlights coming out of the interview, when asked if there's anyone in professional wrestling she doesn't like, Hemme notes Vince McMahon, saying he's "not my favorite person on the planet."

Hemme is also asked about winning the first WWE Diva Search and the $250,000 grand prize. She says the worst part was paying taxes on the winnings. "Paid a lot of taxes and it was horrible," Hemme said.

    Mark Henry def. Tommy Dreamer
    Finlay def. Tyson Kidd (disqualification)
    Vladimir Kozlov def. local competitor

COLUMBUS, Ohio – After a nearly four-year absence, “The Peep Show” made its return to WWE on Tuesday night, as ECW Champion Christian brought his signature show to the Land of the Extreme. With his Judgment Day opponent, Jack Swagger, as his special guest, Captain Charisma once again outsmarted “The All-American American,” gaining the momentum he needs just five days before he defends the ECW Title.

“The Peep Show” with ECW Champion Christian and Jack Swagger (PHOTOS | WATCH)
For the first time as ECW Champion, Christian brought “The Peep Show” to ECW on Sci Fi Tuesday night. Captain Charisma’s special guest was none other than his Judgment Day opponent, Jack Swagger. “The All-American American” promised Christian he’ll reclaim the ECW Championship that Christian “cheated” to “steal” at Backlash, showing the WWE Universe clips of Christian exposing the turnbuckle for the victory. But instead of playing clips of Swagger exposing the opposite turnbuckle, Christian offered a montage of Swagger’s greatest lisp-filled speeches on ECW. (WATCH)

Since ECW’s interim General Manager, Tiffany, promised there’d be consequences to pay if either Christian or Swagger engaged in physicality during “The Peep Show,” Swagger continued to berate the ECW Champion. But it was only a matter of time before Christian abruptly ended “The Peep Show,” and attacked his stunned Judgment Day opponent with a punch to the face. An irate Swagger ran out of the ring as the WWE Universe cheered for Christian. Will the ECW Champion successfully defend the title Sunday at Judgment Day, or will Swagger reclaim the Extreme gold to once again become the face of the Tuesday night franchise? Tune in to Judgment Day, this Sunday at 8/7 CT, live and only on pay-per-view.

Finlay def. Tyson Kidd (disqualification) (PHOTOS | WATCH)
With Natalya banned from ringside, a retribution-seeking Finlay defeated Tyson Kidd by disqualification on ECW on Sci Fi. But The Belfast Brawler wasn’t celebrating his win after David Hart Smith emerged to back up Kidd. The Hart Dungeon-trained duo brutally attacked Finlay, as Kidd used Finlay’s shillelagh twice against him. After the vicious assault, Natalya joined Kidd and the son of the British Bulldog for a Pink & Black Attack reunion in the ring. Now that Smith has joined Kidd and Natalya in the Land of the Extreme, will anyone be able to stop this trio?

Mark Henry def. Tommy Dreamer (PHOTOS)
With WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas in his corner, The World’s Strongest Man was victorious against Tommy Dreamer. The ECW Original fell victim to Henry’s World’s Strongest Slam Tuesday night. Dreamer’s defeat comes at a time when he’s fighting to be king of the Land of the Extreme once again. With his contract expiring in just weeks, Dreamer vowed to become ECW Champion or leave WWE. Will Dreamer’s hopes of becoming ECW Champion again be crushed? Or will the ECW Original fight his way to the top? And what will Henry do Thursday night on “WWE Superstars” when he faces ECW Champion Christian just days before he defends the Extreme Title at Judgment Day?

Vladimir Kozlov def. local competitor (PHOTOS)
Since his ECW arrival, Vladmir Kozlov has been undefeated in singles action, repeatedly and mercilessly beating his competition. After his win, The Moscow Mauler demanded an interview from the ECW announce team. Josh Mathews asked Kozlov how his Russian military training has helped him. Kozlov explained that he’s trained in the superior Russian martial art of Sambo, “which uses the great combination of skills and discipline,” Kozlov said. “That is why I will dominate everyone here in ECW.” He then again delivered a mysterious, forceful, message to the WWE Universe in Russian. What will the dominant Kozlov do next? Will any ECW Superstar be able to stop him?

WWE has signed Rachel Carr, a British model/dancer who has done body-double work for Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, to a developmental contract. In an interview with the UK Sun, Rachel says she was approached by WWE recruiter Lou Maggio, who asked her to audition. She's now training at Florida Championship Wrestling, WWE's developmental territory, five days each month and plans to dedicate herself to learning the craft of a WWE Diva.

“You train for between six months and two years before you’re ready to move up," she said. "I was so excited to go over there and meet everybody, but I was also scared. On my first time over, watching the girls throw themselves around, I thought I couldn’t do it. I’ve only just begun the training so I’m not doing too much of the physical stuff at the moment."

Rachel certainly has the look and body type of a typical WWE diva and hopes that will help her make it to WWE television one day. "They want me to be a cutie. Because I’m quite small and little, they want the whole angel thing coming over. Hopefully it will go well, I’ll perfect my wrestling and my character and I’ll end up with a full time WWE contract.”

WWE Champion Randy Orton def. Batista by disqualification
United States Champion MVP & Kofi Kingston def. Matt Hardy & William Regal
Santina Marella def. Beth Phoenix in a Miss WrestleMania Match
John Cena and The Miz's "Exhibition Match" ended in a no-contest
The Brian Kendrick def. WWE Unified Tag Team Champion Carlito
Mickie James & Kelly Kelly def. Divas Champion Maryse & Jillian
Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase def. Batista by disqualification

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Oftentimes, the days leading up to a WWE pay-per-view event see Superstars conserving their energy and trying to stay out of any serious action. On Raw, however, Batista threw this conventional wisdom out the window, as he competed against WWE Champion Randy Orton and his Legacy minions, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase, who were laid to waste earlier in the night by The Animal, all just days before “The Viper” and Batista collide at Judgment Day.

Earlier in the night, WWE Champion Randy Orton believed he would be facing Batista in the main event with a distinct advantage: Having Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase at his side as part of a 3-on-1 Handicap Match. However, as a result of Batista’s attacks on Orton’s Legacy cohorts throughout the evening, “The Viper” went to the ring alone to face The Animal. Prior to the match, Orton attempted to convince Batista not to take part in the match, claiming that there was no good reason for them to collide before their contest at Judgment Day. The Animal remained unswayed, however, as he attacked The Legend Killer with a level of ferocity shocking even for this intense Superstar, attacking “The Viper” with a steel chair, resulting in another disqualification loss in the same night.

But the ringing bell wasn’t enough to stop Batista, who continued his assault, threatening Orton with the steel ring steps, mirroring The Legacy’s assault on Shane McMahon. As The Legend Killer was about to be nailed with the steps, his injured cohorts, Rhodes & DiBiase, made their way into the brawl. The Animal took out his frustrations by leveling both of his opponent’s associates as “The Viper” slithered away.

William Regal’s appearance on United States Champion MVP’s "VIP Lounge" was interrupted by both Matt Hardy and Kofi Kingston; MVP & Kofi Kingston def. Matt Hardy & William Regal
    (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After William Regal cost United States Champion MVP his match against Cody Rhodes on the previous Raw, The Ballin’ Superstar invited The British Brawler to be a guest on his "VIP Lounge" segment. Claiming that he had worked long and hard for his standing on Raw, Regal explained that he attacked MVP for the insolence he displayed in trying to leapfrog him in Raw’s hierarchy. After he insulted both The Franchise Player and the United States of America, Regal and MVP were interrupted by Matt Hardy.

The embittered Superstar claimed that he also had been wronged in being forced to compete with a broken hand, and stated that he should be first in line to compete for MVP’s U.S. Title. The three Superstars were then joined by another ring warrior, Kofi Kingston, who charged Hardy and assaulted him for clubbing him in the head with his cast the week before. The Superstars’ skirmish turned into an official tag bout pitting U.S. Champion MVP with The Jamaican Superstar to battle Hardy & Regal. Courtesy of this impromptu match, The Ballin’ Superstar was able to exact retribution on William Regal, hitting him with The Playmaker to rack up a victory for himself and Kingston.

Santina Marella def. Beth Phoenix in a Miss WrestleMania Match (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Defending her Miss WrestleMania title, Santina Marella took on the sexy, smart and powerful Beth Phoenix. Santina once again proved why she holds that coveted title, as she surprised The Glamazon with a lightning-quick roll-up. Following the match, Miss WrestleMania took part in her customary celebration dance.

Miss WrestleMania Santina Marella confronted by the Guerreros
Like being called into the principal’s office, Raw General Manager Vickie Guerrero summoned Miss WrestleMania Santina Marella to her office for when Santino Marella called her “swine-like” in a conversation with her nephew, Chavo. Refusing to believe that “Santina” and Santino are different people, Chavo went to pull off Santina’s hair, but was rewarded with a slap. Settling on another way to prove Santina’s identity, Vickie called in the sexy, smart and powerful duo of Beth Phoenix & Rosa Mendes. At the Raw GM’s direction, Rosa leaned in to peck Santina on the cheek, a gesture Miss WrestleMania returned with a full-on kiss on the lips. When questioned about her actions, Santina admitted that she’s a lesbian before calling Vickie a pig and giving Rosa a playful slap on the rear.

The Miz attacked John Cena after their “Exhibition Match” ended in a no-contest (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Before the “Exhibition Match” between John Cena and The Miz, Lilian Garcia announced that the participants would compete until officially stopped by General Manager Vickie Guerrero, who wanted to determine if the formere World Heavyweight Champion was fit to compete against Big Show at Judgment Day. With The World's Largest Athlete, watching from ringside, The Miz predicted that he would rack up another win over the injured Cena.

Unfortunately for the self-proclaimed “Chick Magnet,” however, the former World Heavyweight Champion’s injuries weren’t enough to keep him from taking control of the match. Just after hitting the Five Knuckle Shuffle on his opponent, Cena was stopped by the Raw GM who had decided that he was fully capable of competing on Sunday.

As Cena stood shocked, The Miz capitalized on the situation to level his opponent and dubiously claim the contest as a victory for himself. As the self-proclaimed “future World Champion” celebrated up the ramp, Big Show stood staring at the suffering Cena.

The Brian Kendrick def. WWE Unified Tag Team Champion Carlito (PHOTOS)
Though he was defeated by WWE Unified Tag Team Champion Carlito on the previous week’s Raw, The Brian Kendrick showed that he shouldn’t be counted out yet as he rallied on this week’s Raw to score a pinfall victory over The Southpaw from San Juan. Following the match, Kendrick took the microphone to address the WWE Universe. The arrogant Superstar claimed that his win over Carlito was just step one, and that once he finds “THE” tag team partner, he plans on becoming one-half of the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions himself.

One Superstar who might be an ideal candidate for Kendrick is Mr. Kennedy, who will be making his return to Raw in the near future. (WATCH)

Mickie James & Kelly Kelly def. Divas Champion Maryse & Jillian (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Four of WWE’s sexy, smart and powerful Divas collided in tag team action as Mickie James & Kelly Kelly took on Divas Champion Maryse & Jillian. Maryse was hoping for some manner of retribution after her loss to Mickie on the last Raw, but she was denied as her fan-favorite opponent planted her on the mat with a well-timed DDT.

Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase def. Batista by disqualification (PHOTOS)
The odds were against Batista in Raw’s first match of the night, as he took on both Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match. Using quick tags and the vicious stomps learned under the tutelage of WWE Champion Randy Orton, The Legacy attempted to control the match early on. But when things started to turn in The Animal’s favor, Rhodes went to the outside to retrieve a steel chair. Though the referee didn’t see the second-generation Superstar bring the chair in the ring, he did see Batista pick it up and swing it, prompting the official to disqualify The Animal. Batista’s rage may well have worked to his disadvantage, as the loss ensured that he will be outnumbered once again in the night’s main event as he faces the Legacy members, along with their leader, Orton.

Batista refused to join WWE Champion Randy Orton’s Legacy; The Animal to face Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase to determine Raw’s main event (PHOTOS)
Opening Raw was Randy Orton, who revealed that Raw General Manager Vickie Guerrero had made a rule preventing him and and Batista from touching one another leading up to their Judgment Day match for Orton’s WWE Title. The WWE Champion went on to call The Animal out to the ring and make him a startling offer: An opportunity to join The Legacy. Batista not only declined the offer, but promised to destroy “The Viper” come Sunday.

Incensed at being called  “predictable,” Vickie Guerrero came out to the stage, where the GM rescinded her no contact rule, and made a new opening match for Raw: Batista vs. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase. In accordance with Guerrero’s stipulations, if The Legacy won, Batista would face Orton, Rhodes & DiBiase in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match, while if The Animal scored a victory, then he would face The Legend Killer one-on-one.

Matt Hardy takes aim at internet wrestling sites

Matt Hardy takes aim at internet wrestling sites

Matt Hardy has posted a cryptic blog on his MySpace account (www.myspace.com/theonlymatthardy) largely taking aim at various Internet wrestling websites over rumors regarding him, not to mention commentary concerning the industry.

Hardy wrote: "I am so entertained how people who "think" they're in the know but have no clue about what's really happening.. How they're not even warm. But they still report it nonstop-in an attempt to boost the sales of their premium site to make a few bucks. Can't blame anyone for trying to make a living for themselves, though. Although I'll go on record and say the majority of them make claims and print their opinions (usually in a lame attempt to sound cool and important to their readers) that are so far from what's actually occurring, it's laughable. I've grown to enjoy it though.. It's what happens when you become a TV and pop culture star.

"Matthew Moore Hardy is a Martyr. Alot of wrestlers fall into this category. I personally always do my damnedest to "suck it up and go" because I hate letting my personal fans, and the faithful wrestling fans down. I legitimately broke my hand in 3 places during the Backlash PPV. I actually injured my hand worse by wrestling against Kofi Kingston on Raw Monday. I wonder if the preposterous .com site was critical of my performance, LOL. They were probably too busy making witty zingers and presenting ludicrous solutions to turn the wrestling industry around to entertain themselves. There's not many men who could put their body through what I've put mine thru in the last month. Certainly none of the "keyboarders" who criticize me and our industry regularly. Besides the known injuries I've suffered recently, one day I'll fill everyone in on a secret something that will absolutely blow everyone's mind. You'll either think I'm the toughest, most courageous dude ever, or an extremely driven, passionate idiot."

However, he is not critical of all websites concerning the business as he feels a certain columnist understands wrestling particularly well and enjoys reading his work.

Hardy wrote: "Please don't take my being critical of a portion of the Sports Entertainment World Wide Web contributers as a blanket statement-that's not the case. I have love for so many of my fans and friends that are intelligent and respectful of the pro wrestling business. The column I will occasionally read when I check out reviews (because the gentleman who writes it "gets it", and speaks about the talent and business with respect and dignity) is the "Looking at a "so and so" edition of whatever TV show he's reviewing." That column is the most accurate and most consistent of any of the "major" sites. It blows most of the other "attempted" reviews away. I have no knowledge of the gentleman's background who writes this column-but I appreciate the fact he has a good grasp on what the WWE does, what pro wrestling is REALLY about, and is respectful of what we do as humans and athletes."

As he concludes his blog, Hardy says his critics could never match his life experiences, notoriety, success, manhood, financial status and quality of life within two lifetimes.

Hardy wrote: "I've had more fun as a man in the last 4 years than 99% of most guys would have in two lifetimes-and I'm being modest, HA! So to all you anti-Matt Hardy "keyboarders", punch that in your keyboard and make some witty zingers and cracks about me. And then look in the mirrors and realize that regardless of my flaws, that within even two lifetimes, you could never match my life experiences, my notoriety, my success, my manhood, my financial status, or my quality of life. There's that heel coming out in me.."

    Update over Jeff Hardy

Latest news regarding Jeff Hardy's WWE future

As of the weekend, Jeff Hardy still has not signed a new contract with World Wrestling Entertainment, according to Dave Meltzer. The general belief is that he is going to take time off when his current contract expires to heal up from injuries and pursue outside projects. There appears to be no fear within WWE that he'll return to TNA. The impression is that WWE realizes his importance with the talent roster thin on top.

More details on Undertaker's future with WWE

More details on Undertaker's future with WWE

    Credit: F4WOnline.com

As reported on earlier this week, The Undertaker is pretty banged up right now and wasn't used at WWE TV tapings for the last two weeks.

Initial sources stated that he needed surgery on his hip, while another source stated surgery was needed for his knees. Both parts of his body are in bad shape and have been for quite some time right now. The plan as of right now is that he will be getting arthroscopic hip surgery done. This will keep Undertaker out of action for a little more than two months through the summer.

The hope internally was that giving him the time off right now will help him rest his knees and they hope to have him back for TV by July allowing for a build towards SummerSlam in August. There is said to be something significant planned in creative for Undertaker at SummerSlam, but it is possible that may not be in play with his injuries forcing him off TV for the time being. The biggest hope is that Jeff Hardy will stay with WWE through the summer with Undertaker being out as Hardy would be considered the top babyface on Smackdown with Undertaker's absence. It should be noted that some are fearing that once he gets the surgery that they may discover some serious problems that will keep him out of action even longer since he has worked through injuries for so long.
