-- The Amazing Red will be making his return to TNA on tonight's episode of Impact which was taped last week. The backstage reaction to his return to the ring have been largely positive. Those that saw him several years ago in TNA thought he looked good, while those that had never seen him were blown away.
TNA Knockouts Rhaka Khan and Roxxi are currently serving unofficial 60-day suspensions as punishment for their involvement in a backstage altercation at an Impact taping last month, reports The Sun.
Roxxi reportedly felt Khan had worked too stiff with her during their match earlier that day, resulting in her getting a black eye.
TNA Knockout Roxxi has been released from the company, according to PWInsider.com. She and Rhaka Khan have been serving a 60-day suspension as punishment for a backstage altercation that took place several weeks ago at an iMPACT! taping. For one reason or another, the decision was made this week not to bring her back. Roxxi posted a message on her Twitter account wishing "TNA the best in their future endeavors." Her profile has been removed from TNAWrestling.com. Rhaka Khan's profile is still up and she is believed to be safe for now.
Danny Bonaduce said on his radio show out of Philadelphia that when his contract with Hulk Hogan's "Celebrity Championship Wrestling" ends, there's a good chance he'll be back in TNA Wrestling. Jeff Jarrett has apparently claimed that the door is open for Bonaduce to return if he chooses to.
TNA Wrestling officials have reportedly reached out to former WWE star Lance Cade about joining the promotion.
The former three-time WWE tag-team champion is apparently interested in the offer, but has to first finish up some scheduled dates in Japan.
His former tag-team partner, Trevor Murdoch, has recently debuted with TNA on Impact under the name "The Outlaw Jethro Holliday" and has advanced in the current tag-team tournament the promotion has going on right now.
Canadian women's wrestler Jaime Dauncey, better known as Sirelda, is looking to re-join TNA Wrestling. In fact, WWE Hall of Famer Superstar Billy Graham is trying to mentor her into becoming a female version of himself in hopes of getting her back in the organization.
In October 2004, Dauncey took part in a "Gut Check Challenge," a talent recruitment event organized by TNA. She won the female event and was signed to a developmental contract a year later.
Dauncey debuted at the 2006 Slammiversary pay-per-view and would engage in a feud with Gail Kim. Following a loss to Kim at the 2006 Hard Justice pay-per-view, Dauncey quietly left the promotion, although she made a surprise appearance two months later at Bound for Glory as an entrant in the "Kevin Nash Open Invitational X Division Gauntlet Battle Royal." She has not been seen since.
Since her departure from the organization, TNA has used approximately 30 female talents, but they have yet to give her a call to come back. Her main backer at the time was the former head of head creative in TNA, Scott D'Amore, who she had ties with through his independent promotion, Border City Wrestling. Considering he no longer works there, this should explain why she has yet to resurface.

Tyson Kidd def. Finlay (PHOTOS) It looks like Finlays luck may have run out. In his first ECW on Sci Fi match without his son, Hornswoggle, who was drafted to Raw, The Fighting Irishman was defeated by Tyson Kidd. The ECW newcomer and his ringside counterpart, Natalya, were looking to settle a score after Finlay and his son, Hornswoggle defeated them on last weeks WWE Superstars two days after the leprechaun also beat the Diva on ECW. But Kidds victory over Finlay came thanks to Natalya, who distracted the referee while Kidd used Finlays shillelagh on The Belfast Brawlers leg, leading to the pin. Its likely this isnt the end of the recent rivalry thats erupted between Kidd & Natalya and Finlay, but without his son on ECW, will Finlay find a way to prevail over the Hart Dungeon-trained duo?

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The entire landscape of WWE changed at Backlash, with three new World Champions, including Raws Randy Orton, who won the WWE Championship in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. Though Batista was on the losing end of that conflict, he earned the right to challenge The Legend Killer for the WWE Title at Judgment Day after defeating Big Show on Raw, courtesy of a distraction by John Cena.
Batista def. Big Show by count-out in a No. 1 Contenders Match (PHOTOS | WATCH) Prior to the nights final match, General Manager Vickie Guerrero announced that on the following Raw, WWE Champion Randy Orton would face Shane McMahon. Next, the main event began with two massive competitors squaring off for the right to face WWE Champion Randy Orton at Judgment Day. Batista, eager to exact revenge on The Legend Killer for putting him out of commission for months courtesy of a brutal punt, took on Big Show, who had gained esteem in the eyes of Raws General Manager, Vickie Guerrero, by attacking John Cena as part of their newfound professional relationship, allowing her husband Edge to secure the World Heavyweight Title at Backlash.
Batista might be used to overpowering his opponents in the ring, but he didnt have that option against his opponent, The Worlds Largest Athlete. However, during the match another advantage for The Animal reared its head as an injured Cena staggered out to the stage. The former World Heavyweight Champions presence was enough to distract Big Show, luring him from the ring and causing The Worlds Largest Athlete to get counted out. When Big Show made it back to the ring, he was on the receiving end of a spear, delivered by the victorious Batista.
Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo def. Jamie Noble & Chavo Guerrero (PHOTOS) As holders of the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship, brothers Carlito & Primo can defend their titles on any WWE brand. However, as of the 2009 WWE Draft, both Superstars are officially members of the Raw brand. On Monday Night the Puerto Rican Superstars took on Jamie Noble & Chavo Guerrero, two athletes with considerable in-ring experience between them. But that experience wasnt enough to overwhelm the sibling synergy exhibited by Carlito & Primo, who soundly defeated their opponents.
The Miz def. John Cena by forfeit (PHOTOS) The Miz, a recent Draftee, also had his first match as a Raw Superstar. Proclaiming himself a television icon, the pompous Superstar announced to the WWE Universe that he planned to make an impact by challenging one of the brands most dominant ring warriors, John Cena. As the former World Heavyweight Champions music played, the fans in attendance waited in anticipation, but Cena was nowhere to be seen presumably a result of the brutal Last Man Standing Match he took part in at Backlash. The self-proclaimed future World Champion announced that he had won the match as a result of a forfeit, and demanded that Lilian Garcia verify that fact. When she refused, The Miz made the formal announcement himself.
WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. United States Champion MVP ended in a no-contest (PHOTOS | WATCH) If he hoped to prove himself as a top player on Raw, U.S. Champion MVP certainly succeeded as he went toe-to-toe with WWE Champion Randy Orton in a hard-fought match, retaliating The Vipers every strike. As The Ballin Superstar and The Legend Killer continued to fight back and forth, each struggling to gain the upper hand, Shane McMahon rushed to the ring and assaulted The Viper with a kendo stick. As Ortons Legacy, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase, rushed to their leaders aid, Shane OMac dropped a flying elbow on his nemesis, and then escaped into the crowd, leaving the outcome of the match in question.
Matt Hardy def. Goldust (PHOTOS | WATCH) Just one day after one of the most brutal matches of his career, Matt Hardy had to face Goldust in the ring on Raw. Suffering from a broken hand sustained during an I Quit Match against his brother Jeff, Hardy entered the ring sporting a hard cast. Prior to the match, Hardy reasoned that with his injury, he had no choice but to quit during his Backlash match against his brother, but that didnt make him a quitter. When the match began, the two competitors circled one another cautiously before Hardy slid out of the ring in an attempt to avoid the bizarre Goldust. The bitter Superstar then re-entered the ring, clobbering his opponent with his cast and covering him for a quick pin.
Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Brie Bella & Santina Marella def. Divas Champion Maryse, Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendes & Jillian Hall (PHOTOS | WATCH) Raw was also host to an Eight-Diva Tag Team Match that saw Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Brie Bella & Miss WrestleMania Santina Marella take on the team of Divas Champion Maryse, Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendes & Jillian Hall. During the match, Brie attempted to utilize a trick she had used to great success while on SmackDown, going underneath the ring to switch places with her twin sister Nikki. Soon after disappearing, however, both of the Bellas emerged, along with a grinning Hornswoggle. The mischievous leprechaun sprang out and chased Rosa Mendes from ringside, giving Santina just the opening she needed to roll-up Jillian, securing a victory for her team. As the winning Divas and Hornswoggle celebrated, the diminutive Superstar was subjected to a horrifying glance up Santinas skirt.
Kofi Kingston def. The Brian Kendrick (PHOTOS) In the first match of the night, the highly athletic Kofi Kingston was to face off against one of the exciting new Superstars Raw received in the Draft: The Brian Kendrick. After being introduced by Lilian Garcia, the leather jacket-bedecked Superstar cornered the announcer and clarified that he should be referred to as The Brian Kendrick. Though Kendrick held his own, it was the controlled frenzy of Kingston that proved dominant, allowing The Jamaican Superstar to pick up the win.
Two matches for Raw set by Vickie Guerrero: Batista vs. Big Show to determine the No. 1 contender to the WWE Title and WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. MVP (PHOTOS) Raws General Manager Vickie Guerrero opened the nights show by celebrating two of WWEs newest champions: Her husband, World Heavyweight Champion Edge, and WWE Champion Randy Orton, both of whom won their titles the night before at Backlash. Raws World Champion, The Viper then emerged, flanked by his Legacy, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase. In the midst of congratulating Orton, the Raw GM then announced that his first title defense would take place at Judgment Day against the winner of a No. 1 Contender's Match between Batista and Big Show, to take place later in the evening.
As Orton finished berating the WWE Universe, he turned his sights on the Raw locker room, declaring that every Superstar, regardless of tenure, answers to him. But before he could finish his rant, The Legend Killer was interrupted by United States Champion MVP. Eager to make a name for himself on his new brand, The Ballin Superstar announced that as U.S. Champion, he doesnt answer to anyone. After being put on notice by MVP, Orton had a brief word with Vickie Guerrero, who went on to make a second huge Raw match, pitting The Franchise Playa against The Viper in a non-title contest.
- Michelle McCool has some words for her fellow WWE Divas in a recent WWE Universe blog. McCool said: Yes there are a lot of girls (on the WWE roster). Sometimes, entirely too many for my liking. Simply put, quarters can get a little cramped and I get tired of hearing about how they wanna do this and wanna do that. I have a great idea. How about learning how to work inside the ring and give me a little competition. How about that?

"DEFINING BEAUTY...A FRESH START" Friday, April 24, 2009, 03:10 PM EST [General]
Hey Guys-
I am sooo excited! I was secretly wishing that I would be drafted this year to Smackdown! It has been a bumpy and unfortunate year for me with my injuries so I think Smackdown is the fresh start that I need to rev my engines! To top things off how exciting that the Woman's Championship also went to Smackdown! Ill be back soon and my eyes are back on the prize! It will be a fresh start mixing it up with these divas! I am sure that some will underestimate me, not mentioning any names...Michelle McCool...but its only to my advantage! It was so sweet of her to mention me in her blog it only shows that she has a bit of jealousy for me, it was kind of flattering! So, Thank-You! hehe... I feel welcome already and i haven't even been there yet! :)
In case you didn't notice, Mickie James was removed from the updated Raw opening this past week even though she is still a member of the Raw brand. The updated opening premiered this past Monday on Raw in light of the numerous draft moves last week. WWE inserted Raw newcomer Matt Hardy in her place. Fellow Diva, WWE Divas Champion Maryse, was also added to the opening.
The wrestlers most likely to be called up to the main WWE roster from Florida Championship Wrestling are DH Smith, Eric Escobar (a.k.a. Eric Perez), Sheamus O'Shaunessy, and Drew McIntyre. We haven't heard anything on anyone else.
Smith is said to be an especially strong mat wrestler who has improved tremendously since the last time he was seen in WWE. WWE's Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis has pegged the second generation wrestler as a blue chip prospect and future main eventer for at least two years now.
Meanwhile, there is ongoing concern on the attitude of Escobar, who has worked some recent WWE house show tours. He's had a reputation for being a headcase since he was teaming with Raw wrestler Primo in developmental, and he still carries that stigma to this day.
Although the talks only appear to be very preliminary, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Kurt Angles name has been brought up within WWE and it appears the company could be making a play to bring him back later this year.
Angle, who turns 41 this December, could be faced with a big decision if he is approached by WWE about a return. His wife Karen was said to be a major force behind him leaving WWE and now she is no longer a factor with the two splitting up recently. The negative is that Angle is still pretty banged up and is much smaller than when he left WWE in 2006.
While many feel his size could work against him, the belief is that WWE would give him an easier schedule and he would make more money. Angle has dropped a ton of weight in the last couple years, and tells friends he is much more comfortable this way. The plus to staying with TNA is that he is always guaranteed a top spot, his size will never be an issue and even if WWE offers him an easier schedule it will never be as easy on him physically as the TNA schedule is. The general opinion on Angle is that the smartest thing he could do is stay in TNA, but Angles career is also coming to a close and the possibility of an increase in pay becomes even more important at that stage of his career.

Batista & Shane McMahon def. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase (WATCH | PHOTOS) Despite Batistas misdirected spear on Monday Night Raw, The Animal roared back, catching Cody Rhodes with a high-impact spinebuster as The Legacy Superstar was leaping from the top rope. Shane McMahon picked up the pin, transferring invaluable momentum away from Legacy as they head into this Sundays pay-per-view. Will McMahon, Batista & WWE Champion Triple H take ultimate retribution and save The King of Kings crown at Backlash? Or will Randy Orton back up his promise of destiny by finally capturing the gold? (Match preview)
Matt Hardy & Kane def. Jeff Hardy & CM Punk (WATCH | PHOTOS) Jeff Hardy was attempting to close the door on his brother Matt with a Twist of Fate when a fallen Kane suddenly climbed back up on the apron. This allowed the elder Hardy to send Jeff running into the hard head of The Big Red Machine, before rolling his brother up for the quick victory. With several recent, sibling rivalry victories to his credit, can Matt make Jeff utter the words I Quit at Backlash? (Match preview)
Big Show def. Undertaker (PHOTOS) Before the drafted Big Show made his departure from SmackDown to Raw, the 7-foot, 485-pound nightmare of distraction dished out two vicious knockout blows on Undertaker that proved so brutal, the referee was forced to stop the match in his favor. After the bell, The Phenom came back for more, knocking The Worlds Largest Athlete from the squared-circle and off to Monday Night Raw.
Divas Champion Maryse def. Gail Kim (Divas Championship Match) (WATCH | PHOTOS) Despite Gail Kims non-title victory over Maryse one week ago, she fell short of the Divas Title. Although the sultry, French champion looked to be walking out on the match prematurely, she quickly turned the tables on Gail, hitting her with the stunning French Kiss for the victory.
United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter def. Chavo Guerrero (Non-title) (PHOTOS) Although The Views Sherri Shepherd has been mentioning MVP on her show (WATCH), The Ballin Superstar was all business when it came to beating Chavo Guerrero with the Playmaker. ECW wrestler DJ Gabriel has posted a blog on his MySpace account (myspace.com/stevelewington) responding to online reports saying he's on the verge of being released from World Wrestling Entertainment in light of Alicia Fox's move to SmackDown in last week's Supplemental Draft.
Gabriel wrote: "Before I begin the blog with updates, I'd like to clear the internet rumor "gossip sites" with their opinions on my future within the WWE.
"I've been notified of numerous "wrestling rumor websites" claiming that I will be released from the company soon with Alicia now on SmackDown. I'd like to make my statement and say I've been in the company for nearly four years, and it has been an honor. And I'd like to state that my tenure within the WWE is at a good pace, and I do believe it will continue that way. These so-called accurate websites are actually wrong most of the time. It is just a rumor mill site, just like TMZ. I give the site publishers credit for actually trying to find out the inside scoop on our company, but it is no use. They thrive for the rumors, and usually post one by one on every site on here. So next time a publisher actually does claim something about me, they can contact me at any time. They can contact me on the MySpace, on the WWE Universe site, or even in person at a live event/airport/etc. I'm giving the publishers the chance to contact me, and I can state that the "facts" they are discussing, are only opinions."
Gabriel also notes he's a bit upset over being left off WWE's ongoing tour of Europe, but hopes to go next time.
Gabriel is hoping to return to television soon. He wrote: "I can tell you that I will hopefully be back on the SciFi network really soon, and if not...thank you for the continued support anyways."
