- It was reported this past week that Randy Orton may have re-aggravated a back injury in the RAW main event. There has been no confirmation that Orton is injured but he is not on the official internal injury list. This does not mean Orton isn't hurt but it's probably not a serious injury.
On a related note, Orton mentioned on Twitter that he asked for a "RKO Outta Nowhere" t-shirt a few weeks back but hasn't received an answer. A fan asked Orton when we will get a shirt like that and Orton replied, "When they make room for something other than Cena merch."

Variety has an in-depth look at John Cena expanding into Hollywood. Despite Cena's popularity, he was unknown to Judd Apatow and Jason Moore, directors of The Nest. Cena had to try out for that role and the role in The Trainwreck. Apatow said of Cena:
"I wasn't so familiar with his other work, so I had no bias. I just saw him as an actor who was riotously funny. We read a bunch of people, and he was by far the funniest. Then he came and did a table read before we shot the movie, and got more laughs than anyone. He is a great improviser. He has a great sense of humor, and is the most professional person I have ever met."
Vince McMahon also commented in the article:
"John's passion for our business along with his charisma, work ethic and integrity have made him a global superstar and role model. John also has extraordinary business instincts and an insatiable thirst for knowledge which translate to any medium and are keys to his success."
The article noted that Cena is a company man to the core as they asked him to take off his trademark WWE cap but he declined and said, "They don't pay me to promote my hair cut." Cena also commented on not changing his image and turning heel:
"When you do that, everything you said, everything you stand for gets erased. It's a poor business decision."
Cena reiterated that he has no plans to leave WWE for Hollywood.

Joey Styles announced on Twitter this afternoon that Lilian Garcia will be returning to RAW while Eden will handle ring announcing duties on SmackDown.
"NEWS: @LilianGarcia returns to #RAW. @realEdenWWE (Brandi Rhodes) moves to #SmackDown. @HowardFinkel still best ever."
This news was broken earlier this afternoon on Reddit.com by MetsFan4Ever, a former WWE backstage worker who has broken WWE news and produced multiple shows scripts.

Gene Snitsky, who briefly appeared for TNA over the summer, feels the wrestling organization is making a mistake by not bringing him back after his character was written off television.
At an Impact Wrestling taping in New York City in June, Snitsky, along with Rycklon (formerly known as Ezekiel Jackson), debuted for the company as villains, attacking Tommy Dreamer, Bully Ray and Devon during a Street Fight and aligning with Dixie Carterthe episode aired on July 24. Both former WWE Superstars were fired by Carter on the August 7 show after losing an Eight-Man Hardcore War pitting Team EC3 (EC3, Rhino, Rycklon and Snitsky) against Team Bully (Bully Ray, Devon, Tommy Dreamer and Al Snow).
Snitsky was recently asked on Twitter whether he still wrestles for TNA and responded, "who? Lol." Later, a fan said Impact drew its greatest viewership spike in months with the segment featuring Snitsky and Rycklon's debut. In response to this, Snitsky remarked, "their loss..... #itsnotmyfault." He also said "their loss" in response to a fan expressing his disappointment with TNA not continuing to utilize Snitsky.
Snitsky has also posted a few messages saying "#Snitskyequalsratings."
Rycklon also responded to a Twitter question asking whether he's still affiliated with TNA. He wrote, "Was just for 3 weeks."
- Curtis Axel and Ryback should be back on WWE TV soon, likely within the next month. As noted, Axel was kept off TV while Ryback recovered from hernia surgery.
Kurt Angle Not Leaving TNA Wrestling? Posted by Steve Carrier on 10/17/2014 at 05:32 PM Kurt Angle will most likely be sticking around with TNA Wrestling according to Dave Meltzer.
Angle's contract with the company expired last month on September 21st. Meltzer noted in the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that TNA wants people to believe that Angle will be leaving the company so that it's a big surprise when he stays.
As noted earlier, a source told PWInsider that Angle turned down a full-time offer from WWE because he didn't believe his body would be able to handle a full-time schedule.
We noted before that TNA edited off two promos from Team 3D during Bound For Glory where the TNA Hall of Famers called out New Japan Pro Wrestling's Bullet Club stable.
Word is that those challenges were all Bully Ray's doing. They were not approved by TNA or Wrestle-1 and officials from those companies did not want 3D's challenges to air on Bound For Glory, which is why they were edited off.

While some may believe that the announcement will be a new television deal for the company, that may not be the case. There has been some claims that TNA has been negotiating with a talent that would reportedly "shock people." It's said that if it comes to fruition, the new signing would create a buzz around TNA, however no one seems to know who the talent is.
Steve Austin has again said that he's not planning to return to the ring.
In the latest installment of The Steve Austin Show on PodcastOne.com, Austin clarified a recent remark where he said, Im trying to get back into shape for a comeback.
Austin says he has been training at a little hole in the wall gym, but prior to that he was training at Gold's Gym, where he was planning on making a comeback.
Austin also mentioned that he will be busy with a project coming up in February (which he can't discuss at the moment) and therefore would be unable to fit wrestling training into his schedule. Furthermore, he has no desire to climb back in the ring to take bumps again. He added that if he had the desire to come back and wrestle, Brock Lesnar would be looking up at the lights.
Regarding WWE wanting Kurt Angle to only work a full time deal, word is that it was Triple H's decision to offer Angle that deal. WWE was not interested in bringing Angle in under a part-time deal.
The feeling is that TNA is offering Angle a part-time deal and Angle will be staying with them for at least another year.
Angle also reportedly wants to focus on expanding his acting career in the next year. Angle is headed to Los Angeles soon for meetings and auditions.
As expected, Justin Roberts' WWE departure is a big shock to a lot of people in the company. Roberts was extremely well liked backstage and many talents thought it could be a mistake, even though WWE announced it on their website. He worked RAW last night and word is that he was informed of his departure after RAW went off the air.
- Seth Rollins had a close call during last night's RAW main event when he rushed the ring as the steel cage was lowering. As seen in the GIF below, Rollins almost got caught by one of the spikes that lower with the cage:
Jeff Jarrett is reportedly headed to scout potential buildings for TV tapings in New York, Dallas and Los Angeles in September.
People close to Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling say negotiations are still ongoing for a GFW TV deal but they are moving slow. The promotion hoped to have something locked in by now but they do not.
There should be more announcements coming soon in regards to Scott D'Amore's involvement with GFW and the company's relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
The whole process of launching GFW is going a lot slower than officials wanted.

TNA agent Tommy Dreamer was recently on Steve Austins Podcast. In the interview Dreamer talks about his ECW days, WWE and TNA. Tommy Dreamer makes an interesting revelation during the TNA talk where he reveals he was close to signing Abyss to a WWE contract back when Dreamer worked in WWE developmental.
Dreamer mentions that his intentions were to bring Abyss into the WWE and pitch an Abyss vs The Undertaker match down the road. Dreamer reveals Abyss turned down the offer and opted to stay in TNA and that he believes that Abyss may have had a case of stage fright.
- In a possible sign that WWE officials have just about given up on Adam Rose, he hasn't had a RAW match since July 28th, when he defeated Damien Sandow.
Before that, Rose's last RAW match was on June 16th when he and Summer Rae defeated Layla and Fandango. Rose had just 2 RAW matches in all of June.
Rose had a TV win for the August 14th Superstars episode but has mostly been winning dark matches lately. He's also picked up several losses on NXT TV as of late.
It was reported recently that officials had "given up" on Bo Dallas but things look much worse for Rose.

WWE Allowing Prince Devitt to Keep His Body Paint?
There has been a lot of fans wondering if WWE would allow Prince Devitt to keep his signature body paint in NXT and the main roster. Fellow NXT rookie Kevin Steen posted the following photo of he and Devitt together tonight, leading fans to now wonder if the two are going to be a team.
There are no NXT live events tonight so it's possible they were training in full get-up, doing a photoshoot or something like that at the WWE Performance Center but this photo could be a sign that WWE is letting Devitt keep his paint.
