WWE Signing Samuray del Sol Update
WWE Signing Samuray del Sol Update

    - Apparently Samuray del Sol has not been officially signed by WWE yet as some medical tests are still going through. EVOLVE issued this statement on Samuray this week:

"There are many rumors about Samuray Del Sol going to WWE. Del Sol, who has risen as today’s hottest lucha star, will challenge Open The Freedom Gate Champion Johnny Gargano for the title this Sunday night on live iPPV at WWNLive.com from Ybor City, FL. He is also in a big match tomorrow night in Orlando against Anthony Nese and Saturday in Jacksonville vs. upcomer Shane Strickland. We have been assured that should Del Sol win the title, he will be back on the July 27th and July 28th events in New York City to defend the belt. Could we see The Summer Of Del Sol?"

Sting Interview: Talks Slammiversary, Faith, Says People Are Still Nostalgic For The Sting, Hogan and Flair

Sting Interview: Talks Slammiversary, Faith, Says People Are Still Nostalgic For The Sting, Hogan and Flair

TNA Wrestler Sting was recently interviewed by Jim Varsallone of The Miami Herald. Below is a quick recap:

    On his Slammiversary Title Match:

“Well, that is definitely my belief, yes. It’s another opportunity for me to wrestle for that [TNA] world title and the stipulations are pretty high. So it’ll be a big night for me, no matter how you look at it.”

    On Bully Ray:

“Bully Ray’s been pretty impressive. He’s done a great job; that’s for sure. He’s figured it out. A lot of times guys, who’ve been in the tag team situation for that many years, it’s hard for them to transition into singles. A lot of them who have tried have never really successfully done it, but Bully Ray has found a niche and a way, and he has done a good job.”

    His current goals:

“After all the year I’ve been doing this, I want [TNA] to be a good product. I want wrestling fans to be satisfied. I want to please people. The overall goal is to be entertaining -- to keep people very interested in tuning into TNA.”

on not retiring from pro wrestling:

“I know there’s some negativity out there as ell, but for the most part, it’s the whole nostalgia thing that I keep talking about. Retro fans just don’t want to say good-bye to Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair or Undertaker or Sting,” he said. “There’s only a handful of my generation. Of course, Flair and Hogan, they’re the generation before me. They don’t want to say good-bye to the last remaining few, and that’s a good thing for me, a good thing for us, and I appreciate it. I’m grateful for it.”

On advice he gives to the younger wrestlers:

“Stay away from drugs, pills and alcohol. Stay away from the women. Stay away from the politics -- the behind the scenes stuff that goes on,” Sting said. “Just get out there and entertain. Work your butt off, take care of yourself in and out of the ring and turn to God.

“That was a huge part of my wrestling career, turning to God. If I didn’t, I probably would have ended up like one of those guys who you’ve read about.

“I’ve had wrestlers over the years, many of them, including last week [Impact Wrestling at the USF Sun Dome] in Tampa, one of the biggest names talking to me about God and asking me questions. There’s a reason for it. They know I was them. In other words, I’m not going to condemn anybody or point my finger at anyone. I ran with the best of ‘em and did what I did all those years on the road, and they know it.

“They have seen a change in me, and they ask, ‘How’d you do it?’ And I tell them how I did it. Some of them have been in and out of so many different types of trouble and rehabs. I’m there to try to be a rock solid sounding board for some of the guys, and that’s been a good thing.”

On the creation Of The 'Crow Sting' Character:

"I’m going to go down in history as one of my characters being the Crow Sting, but it actually started with Eric Bischoff, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall [in WCW] with one of their nWo vignettes, an edgy, brainy kind of deal. Wrestling was changing, and my character hadn’t changed, but I knew it was time to do that. I was sitting in a hotel in Casper, Wyoming. I was with Eric Bischoff and Scott Hall, and Scott said, [Sting impersonates Scott Hall -- not bad], ‘I’m thinking trenchcoat and put white paint all over your face.’ So I started thinking about it.

“I remember going through an airport, and you know how the magazine stand has a 100 magazines. Well, there was Marilyn Manson of all people on one of the covers, and he had this weird looking paint on his face, and I went, ‘Wooooh.’ So I kind of took a little bit of that and then just created what I created.”

    Impact Wrestling Results 30/05/13
Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen

Impact Wrestling starts out with a video package concentrating on the Bully Ray vs. Sting match for Slammiversary. Bully tells Sting that if he loses then he can no longer go for the World Title again. Sting agrees to it but Hulk doesn’t like it. Ray still loves Brooke Hogan while Sting is liking Mr. Parks. The video switches to the tag team division where Gunner returns and teams up with James Storm at the PPV. It switches to AJ Styles and how he joined Aces & 8s but then turns them away. He is not on a side. Will Abyss come tonight? Who will have control as they head into Boston?

The camera shows Aces & 8s backstage. Bully Ray says the main focus is AJ Styles AJ Styles, and AJ Styles. D-Lo goes up to Mr. Anderson and says he is sorry as he thought AJ would join the group. Ken slams his gloves in his hand. Ray and Devon walk in between them. D-Lo goes to turn, but Ken grabs him, slams him against the wall and takes him down to the ground. In three days, Devon takes out Joseph Parks for good. Also, in the main event, Sting vs. Bully Ray! Sting called it. He names the stipulation. No Holds Barred. Did Sting really think it over? Will Sting try to take Ray’s knees out and rip his eyes out? Ray wants him to go for it. Ray isn’t taking anything away from him. He had to accomplish something in this business if he is called “The Icon”. Who has Sting beat? Who was that who said, “To be the mean you got to beat the man.” It is Ric Flair. Sting beat him. Sting beat Hulk Hogan! Who else? He beat Kurt Angle. Not everyone can beat an Olympic Gold Medalist. Who else? Oh yeah, Jeff Hardy! Everyone loves that guy. Sting beat him to be World Champion. Ray also beat Jeff for the title, but he took Jeff out. He will make sure we never see Jeff again. He can’t wait till Slammiversary. He can’t wait to beat Bully Ray. Sting will no longer compete for the TNA World Title again. Let’s do this… him and Devon vs. Sting and Parks! Sting’s music plays and he comes out with Joseph Parks at his side. Joe turns and Garett takes him down. Bischoff goes to the outside and helps his bros attack Magnus. The bell sounds. Joe runs with a suicide dive and knocks all of them down. All three Aces are down. Joe and Magnus get in the ring and grab a mic. Joe calls them cowards. Earlier today, he knew this would happen. On Sunday, it will be Garett, Wes, and Doc (big shaved ape) against Magnus, Joe, and Jeff Hardy! Aces freak out. They are furious. They can’t believe it. Joe’s music hits.

Video from last week’s tag team division segment airs as Gunner makes his return and takes Sharkboy and Robbie E out. He and James Storm will team up at Slammiversary.

    -Commercial

She loves all the fans who stuck with her for all the years. There has been a handful that do not like her as champion. She says it is not fair. She deserves this title. She wants to address this. She calls out her good friend Velvet Sky. Sky’s music plays. She comes down the ramp and gets in the ring. Sky walks up to her and they both hug. Mickie says Sky is amazing. She just wanted to bring her out and there has been some negativity that has been hurtful. She went to Sky before the match and asked Sky if she is ready. Sky wanted this match to happen, but Mickie wanted to wait till Sky was 100%. It was weird because Sky’s knee went out and she became champion. Let’s give Sky some applause on how she was a good champion. Sky takes the mic off of her and says business is business and she wants her rematch. Mickie is fine with that. She wants her knee to be 100%. Sky wants her rematch at Slammiversary. Mickie said Brooke said that there is a match at Slammiversary and it’s Gail and Taryn.

Music plays and here comes Gail Kim. Gail gets in the ring. She loves this whole love stuff, but let’s get something straight. Would Mickie actually be champion without Gail’s help? She was the one who hurt Sky’s knee. She took out more people recently. She will take Taryn to school and then she will make sure she is the last Knockout standing. She will go for the title and get what is hers. Sky says she has a rematch and Gail knows that. Gail heard enough and takes Sky right down. She drags her to the ring post but Taryn Terrell runs out. Gail runs across the ring. Mickie is on the ramp looking on but leaves the scene. Music plays and here comes Kenny King, the X-Division Champion. He comes out to the ring.

Chris gets on the mic and says he will be X-Division Champion after going through two ACL surgeries and being out for two years. Kenny attacks him from behind. As he goes after him more, Suicide runs in the ring. He lifts King up and drops him on his knee gut first. King goes out of the ring. Suicide picks the title up and looks at it. He then meets Chris face to face.

AJ Styles is walking backstage. The camera shows Mr. Anderson walking backstage. They fight next.

A video plays showing the career of Sting. He talks about going for the World Championship. It took him four years and his first one was with Ric Flair at Great American Bash 1990. His favorite is Ric Flair. Going after Hulk was one of the best… probably the best at that time and ever. Kurt Angle took Sting to the limit. Jeff Jarrett was the first one with TNA. This match is different at Slammiversary. It is to take the title away from him. He swerved everyone. This is his one chance to drive a steak through his heart.

Christy Hemme is shown in the ring as she introduces the main event. Aces’ music hits and here comes Mr. Anderson. Anderson walks through the crowd and gets in the ring. AJ Styles’ music plays and he comes out all dressed in black. He brings his hands together above his head and then makes his way down the ramp. He gets slowly in the ring.

    Mr. Anderson vs. AJ Styles

Ken goes right after him with punches. He has AJ in the corner. He backs up and punches him again. AJ fights back with punches. Aj puts Ken in the corner and does knife edge chops and punches. He kicks him in the gut and AJ slides down the corner. AJ gets on the apron as Ken backs up. AJ drops Ken down on the top rope. Ken slowly goes down and rolls to the apron. Ken gets up on the apron now. AJ brings him in. He tosses him out. Styles takes his shirt off and then runs into the ropes. He does a baseball slide. Ken goes into the commentator’s desk. AJ continues the offense.

    -Commercial

He knees Ken in the gut and punches him in the face. Both almost fall off the apron. AJ pushes the referee to get him away. Ken grabs AJ and drops him down face first into the apron. Ken gets AJ up and pushes him into the apron back first. He rolls AJ in and covers him but AJ kicks out before the referee counts. Ken punches AJ in the face before he can get up. Styles fights back though. He does punches and chops. He runs into the ropes but Ken does a back body drop. He covers but Ken kicks out. Ken now works on the arm. He has AJ for awhile. AJ gets up finally and punches his way out of it. He runs into the ropes but ducks the closeline. He does a roll-up but Ken kicks out. Both get up and Ken does a shoulder block. He covers but AJ kicks out.

Ken drops his knees onto AJ’s arm. He wrenches it more. AJ headbutts his way out of it and then pushes Ken into the corner. He does shoulder tackles. Ken hits AJ’s back and then punches his face. AJ punches back. They go back and forth. AJ does kicks and then a closeline. Both are down. Both slowly get up. AJ does a huge kick to Ken’s chest and then a closeline. He does a spinebuster and then drops a knee to the face. AJ covers but Ken kicks out. Both get up. AJ has Ken on his shoulders but Ken slides behind him and locks his arms around AJ’s waist. AJ ducks and makes Ken go into the corner. He sits on the top rope and goes for a tornado DDT, but Ken takes AJ up on his shoulders and then does a fireman’s carry roll-away. He covers but AJ kicks out. Ken goes for Mic Check but AJ fights his way out and then plants Ken on the top rope. He drops him back and Ken’s leg is caught on the corner. AJ leaves and then comes back for a huge dropkick in the corner.

Just then, Kurt Angle enters the ring and takes AJ down. He punches him in the face, but AJ hits Kurt’s knee. He gets up and smacks Kurt’s knee more. Aces now enter the ring and they go after Kurt and AJ. Magnus, Sting, Joe, and Parks run down the ramp and fights Aces. It’s a war. Everyone is fighting everyone. Kurt and AJ coninue to fight while Joe is going after Doc. They are on the ramp. In the ring is Sting and Bully Ray. They are face to face. Ray goes to through a punch but Sting punches back. It’s back and forth. They are throwing huge punches but no none is going down. Ray goes for a closeline but it doesn’t knock Sting down. Sting has the power. He takes Ray in the corner and then knocks him down and locks the Scorpion Death Lock. Devon enters and takes Sting down. He and Ray gets up and wait. Sting gets up and turns and they hit 3-D! The Aces & 8s get in the ring and they all join withe their arms raised. TNA’s members are down, Magnus, Joe, and Parks. Aces are standing tall. The show fades.

Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen Raw results from Calgary, Alberta, CD:John Cena started off the show talking about how he had a week off to think about Ryback's challenge for Payback with the Ambulance Match. Cena says he's decided to make the main event Three Stages of Hell with a Lumberjack match, tables match and ambulance match. Ryback came out and told Cena to prepare to meet Satan.

Paul Heyman came down to the ring with Curtis Axel and suggests Cena vs. Axel tonight, since Cena is a fighting champion. Cena suggests to Axel to stay far away from Heyman since he's no good. Cena tells Heyman he's got a deal and the match is on tonight.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Big E Langston via pinfall. During the match, AJ pulled the turnbuckle cover over and distracted the ref. Del Rio went for the cross armbreaker late, but Big E powered out of it. Del Rio countered that for the win. Post-match, AJ Lee kept yelling at Big E because her plan didn't work in the match. Big E got up and just walked away from her as she kept yelling at him.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan was pacing around with Kane telling him he's not the weakest link. Kane tells him to stop, saying they have a chance to get back the tag titles. The two got into an argument, until Bret "Hitman" Hart showed up. Bret gave the two a motivational speech putting D-Bryan over.

Dean Ambrose defeated Kofi Kingston via pinfall to retain the United States Title. Late during the match, Kofi gained momentum hitting a huge dropkick. He hit a crossbody and had a near fall. After a leaping right hand to take down Ambrose, he had a rollup, but Ambrose countered for a near fall. After more back and forth, Ambrose managed to get his finisher and the win. Post-match, The Shield came to the ring to celebrate, but Team Hell No came down to fight Shield off, ultimately clearing the ring.

Rollins & Reigns defeated Kane & Daniel Bryan via pinfall to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles. During the late stages of this, the four men started to brawl. D-Bryan started to take control against Rollins, then Kane hit Rollins with a big boot. Bryan took the fight out to the floor against Reigns. Kane and D-Bryan eventually got into an argument on the apron. Bryan leaped off the apron but Reigns caught him, sending him to the floor. Meanwhile, Rollins took out Kane due to the distraction and got the pinfall.

Fandango defeated Wade Barrett via pinfall in a non-title match. The Miz was announced as the guest referee. During the match, Barrett pushed Miz down, then kicked Fandango to the outside. Miz responded by hitting Skull Crushing Finale on Barrett, with Fandango getting the pin for the win. Post-match, Fandango started to dance with Summer Rae, so Miz kicked him in the face. Summer fell on top of him, so Miz counted a pinfall.

Backstage, Cena was preparing for his match when Shawn Michaels walked in, asking if he still wants to do this. Cena says he doesn't back down from a challenge. HBK tells him what Ryback did to him at Extreme Rules wasn't pretty. Cena ignores that and walks off before commercial.

The Great Khali, Brodus Clay and Tensai defeated 3MB via pinfall. The late part saw Brodus Clay get in the ring to take it to Slater, ultimately hitting a big slam on him and then getting the win. Post-match, Clay got on the mic to tell everyone it's Natalya's birthday, so Khali led everyone in singing her Happy Birthday.

Chris Jericho hosted The Highlight Reel with Paul Heyman as his guest. Heyman talked about his new talent Curtis Axel, saying he'll defeat Cena tonight. Jericho says he's been a big fan of Axel for a long time. Jericho then switches gears saying he wants to discuss Heyman's other client. Heyman starts up about Brock Lesnar, but Jericho tells him to shut the hell up, and says he wants to talk about CM Punk.

They showed the last promo that Punk did on RAW. Heyman says he and Punk will have an announcement in the next few weeks about Punk's return. Jericho argued that Punk can't sit at home for six weeks and call himself "best in the world." Jericho brings up that the WWE Payback PPV is in Chicago and challenged Punk to a match for it. Heyman and Jericho argued a bit before Heyman accepted the challenge.

The Bella Twins defeated Natalya & Kaitlyn via pinfall. Late in the match, Natalya put on the Sharpshooter on one of the Bellas, then stopped her from making a tag. Things got rough though when Kaitlyn accidentally speared Natalya towards the end. Kaitlyn got knocked to the apron and then one of the Bellas made the winning pinfall cover.

Backstage, Bret Hart talked to Curtis Axel about his dad Mr. Perfect. He tells Axel he should get rid of that bum Heyman. Axel says just because Bret knew his dad, doesn't mean he knows him. He says Heyman's the only guy who would give him a chance before last week. Axel vows to beat the champion later on.

Sheamus & Randy Orton defeated Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow via pinfall. During the match, they showed backstage where Paul Heyman was giving a pep talk to Curtis Axel for his match. Sheamus won the match by hitting White Noise and a Brogue Kick.

Curtis Axel defeated John Cena via countout. Late in the match, Cena knocked Axel off the corner area and then hit a clothesline. Suddenly, sirens started to make noise and an ambulance came driving out into the arena. Cena left the ring and wandered up to the stage area. Cena checked out the front and didn't see anyone. The ref called the match as Cena was counted out.

Post-match, Cena goes to the back of the ambulance and finds nobody there either. Suddenly, Ryback attacks him from behind and beats Cena up. He brings Cena onto the stage and tries to charge at him, but Cena moves away. Cena tried for the AA but Ryback slipped out of the move. Cena shoved him off the stage, then looked back towards the ring where Heyman and Axel were celebrating the win. Raw went off the air with Heyman holding Axel's hand up in victory.

    Smackdown
    Date: May 24, 2013
Location: CenturyLink Center Omaha, Omaha, Nebraska
Commentators: Michael Cole, Josh Matthews, John Bradshaw Layfield

We’re past Extreme Rules and the main story is of course HHH. He collapsed at the end of Raw while Curtis Axel was laying in the ring with no one paying a bit of attention to him, so odds are we’ll hear about getting an update on him on Raw tonight. Other than that we have Del Rio confirmed as the #1 contender for Ziggler whenever Dolph is healthy again. Let’s get to it.

We open with a recap of the HHH/Heyman stuff from both Extreme Rules and Raw. We also get a little bit about Shield winning three belts as tonight it’s Kofi vs. Ambrose for the US Title.

Here’s the Miz for MizTV to open the show. Miz says that he’s versatile because he’s going to host this show and then he’ll win back the Intercontinental Title soon after. The guest tonight is Fandango who thankfully brings Summer Rae with him. Before Miz can ask him a question, Fandango stops him for the correct pronunciation of his name. Miz counters with some “reallys” and shows us a clip of the tag match from Raw where Fandango stopped for a dance.

Miz wants to know how obnoxious Fandango is. Fandango threatens to dance all over the face of anyone who comes near Summer before questioning Miz’s own ego. Miz says that Fandango looks like a dancing bag of Skittles which isn’t too far from accurate. The fans chant bag of Skittles, making Miz declare Fandango the new Fruity Pebbles. This brings out Wade Barrett with his horrible new music.

Barrett says he’ll get to Miz in a minute but first of all he’s angry at Fandango for tiptoeing through the tulips instead of being Barrett’s partner. Wade threatens Fandango if he ever does that again, so Fandango corrects his pronunciation. Miz says Barrett needs to focus on him because Miz has a title shot later tonight. Barrett punches Miz in the face and the brawl is on. Fandango and Summer leave as a referee comes out to break it up.

Intercontinental Title: The Miz vs. Wade Barrett

This is joined in progress after a break with Miz challenging. Fandango is also sitting in on commentary. Miz fights out of a chinlock and hits a flapjack, only to be taken down by a back elbow. Fandango says that he had to go to the back on Monday because his glitter was coming off. Barrett puts Miz on the top rope for a kick to the ribs for two and it’s off to a chinlock.

Back up and Miz hits a running knee lift and a bit boot. Fandango asks JBL to hit his music because apparently Bradshaw can do that. It’s time for some dancing as well as for the Winds of Change to Miz for two. Miz gets two of his own off a rollup before hitting a baseball slide to Fandango. A dropkick takes out Barrett’s knee but Fandango kicks Miz in the head for the DQ at 2:56 shown. This was angle advancement and barely a match at all.

Result: The Miz b. Wade Barrett via DQ when Fandango interfered (2:56)

Daniel Bryan is muttering to himself in the back when Kane comes in. He says that they both lost the titles, which Bryan interprets as Kane blaming him. Bryan insists that he isn’t the weak link as his paranoia continues.

    Jack Swagger vs. Daniel Bryan

No entrance for Swagger again. Bryan goes right at Swagger and pounds away before sending Jack to the floor for the suicide dive. He fires off kicks to the chest against the barricade before taking it back inside for a near fall off a missile dropkick. Jack takes Bryan down off of a clothesline before putting him in the Tree of Woe for some knees. We take a break and come back with the two of them colliding before Bryan hits a running kick to the face in the corner.

More kicks to the chest have Jack in trouble and a running kick to the face gets two. Swagger finally catches one of the kicks in a high angle belly to belly for two of his own. Daniel rolls out of a gutwrench suplex but gets caught in the Patriot Lock, only to be rolled through for another near fall. The Vader Bomb hits knees and a HARD kick to Swagger’s head sees Bryan not cover but rather stomp Swagger even more. There’s the NO Lock for the tap out at 9:06.

Result: Daniel Bryan b. Jack Swagger – NO Lock (9:06)

Post match Bryan beats on him even more. The referee mentioned something about reversing the decision but no official announcement was ever made.

We get a package of stills from the last man standing match on Sunday. Cena will be back on Raw.

We also get all the Ryback stuff from Monday with him challenging for an ambulance match and throwing Ryder in the ambulance.

Here’s Damien Sandow in the ring wearing a suit. There’s a table in front of him and as usual, he seems annoyed. Sandow talks about seeing two people compete in a series of stupid competitions, ranging from a tug of war to arm wrestling to a truck pull. Tonight, Sandow wants them to deal with some mental issues. There’s a tied up rope on the table and we hear the story of the Gordian Knot. Sandow has Matt Striker try to untie the knot while making fun of the education system when Striker can’t do it.

Cue Sheamus who makes fun of Sandow’s hobby of playing with knots. Sheamus talks about playing with Rubic’s Cubes as a kid before picking up the knot. He tries to untie it but Sandow gets impatient. Damien pulls out a pair of bolt cutters and hacks it up. Sheamus tries a Brogue Kick but Damien bails to the floor, shouting I KNEW IT! Instead Shaemus offers to teach him about Newton’s Law, which means he throws Striker through the ropes at Sandow. Your lesson of the night: when you get outsmarted, throw human beings.

    Chris Jericho vs. Big Show

That’s a pretty fast recovery from Orton’s punt. Jericho charges straight at Big Show for some reason as Matthews compares Jericho to Johnny Depp. JBL: “Johnny Depp never has been been inside a WWE ring and neither has Jay Silverheels or Tonto.” Show shoves him down with ease and catches Jericho in a bearhug. He lets it go for no apparent reason, allowing Jericho to dropkick Show’s knee out and pound away, only to be caught by a spear for two. Jericho escapes the chokeslam attempt and goes up, only to jump into a loud chop to the chest.

Show goes to the middle rope but misses an elbow drop, allowing Jericho to hit the Lionsault for two. The Codebreaker is countered into a sunset flip attempt but Show pulls him up with a chokeslam, only to be pulled down by a DDT for two. The Walls are easily shoved away and there’s the chokeslam but Jericho rolls to the floor. Jericho escapes a ram into the post by sending Show into the post himself. Jericho hits a decent Codebreaker to send Show into the timekeeper’s area which is good for a countout win for Jericho at 6:30.

Result: Chris Jericho b. Big Show via countout (6:30)

Post match Big Show picks up a chair but Jericho kicks it out of his hands and beats Big Show with it for fun.

The Raw ReBound is the introduction of Curtis Axel and the match with HHH, followed by HHH collapsing.

Here are Heyman and Axel with something to say. Heyman brags about his success with Lesnar and Punk and now he’s pointing his finger at Axel. Curtis himself gets to speak and says that in one night, he accomplished more than his father and grandfather ever accomplished. He took HHH’s best shot and then left him laying. Curtis says that he won on Monday and says his name a few more times. That was just day one and tonight is day two.

    Curtis Axel vs. Sin Cara

This is joined in progress after the break with the stupid lights back again. Sin Cara spines out of a fireman’s carry before firing off some kicks. A standing rana takes Curtis down and there’s the wrist drag out of the corner. Curtis throws Cara to the apron and stomps away in the corner. Randy Orton is talking about Curtis Axel RIGHT NOW on the WWE App. Cara comes back with the Tajiri handspring elbow and a crossbody for two. A top rope version of the crossbody misses though and the formerly known McGillicutter (running one arm neckbreaker) gets the pin on Cara at 3:00 shown.

Result: Curtis Axel b. Sin Cara – McGillicutter (3:00)

US Title: Kofi Kingston vs. Dean Ambrose

Kofi is challenging of course. Dean goes it alone on this one and seems to have some fans on his side. Kofi fires off some kicks and right hands but gets taken down by a fast shoulder block. Back up and Kofi gets no count off a dropkick before getting taken down by another shoulder. Ambrose chokes with his leg on the mat but Kofi fires off more dropkicks. A middle rope ax handle gets two on Dean but as Kofi goes up top he has to dive on Reigns outside. Roman and Seth come in for the DQ at 2:30.

Result: Kofi Kingston b. Dean Ambrose via DQ when Shield interfered (2:30)

Post match Shield beats on Kofi until Sheamus and Randy Orton make the save. If you’re a Smackdown fan, you know the drill from here.

    Kofi Kingston/Randy Orton/Sheamus vs. Shield

Joined in progress again with Sheamus slamming Reigns down for two. Off to Orton for some headbutts to Rollins and right hands in the corner. Kofi comes in to work on the arm for a bit before it’s back to Randy to crank on the arm as well. Rollins finally gets in a knee to the face and makes the tag off to Ambrose who takes the US Champion down with ease. A knee rake across the face allows for the tag back to Sheamus but Ambrose gets in a shot to the ribs.

Back to Rollins who pounds away in the corner, only to get caught in mid air off a middle rope cross body. Reigns and Ambrose have to save their partner from the ten forearms to the chest as we take a break. Back with Ambrose hitting a knee to Sheamus’ ribs before it’s back to Reigns for stomps in the corner and a lot of trash talk. Sheamus fights out and avoids a charge from Reigns, sending him shoulder first into the post. Hot tag brings in Orton for all his favorites, including the Elevated DDT.

Ambrose bails to the floor to avoid the RKO and Reigns gets in a shot to Orton. Reigns comes up limping though, which is apparently a legit ankle injury. Back in and Rollins pounds on Orton before it’s back to Dean for a front facelock. Rollins comes in again for some right hands to the head as this is basically a handicap match now. Randy gets in a right hand but gets caught in a downward spiral into the middle buckle to put him right back down. Orton comes back with more right hands and snaps off a quick superplex to put both guys down.

The hot tag brings in Sheamus to face Ambrose (Reigns didn’t have his hand out but was instead waving Rollins over to Ambrose) and house is cleaned. Even Reigns takes a shoulder to the ribs before Ambrose is hit with the rolling senton into the forearms to Rollins’ chest. Reigns breaks up White Noise on Dean with a spear but rolls to the floor for an RKO from from Orton. Kofi comes in and gets two on Dean, but it’s Rollins tripping Kingston up, allowing Dean to hit the bulldog driver for the pin at 15:18.

Result: Shield b. Randy Orton/Sheamus/Kofi Kingston – Bulldog Driver to Kingston (15:18)

Who Worked As Suicide at the Impact Tapings?
Posted by Steve Carrier on 05/23/2013 at 11:59 PM

At tonight's TNA Impact Wrestling tapings, former ROH star TJ Perkins was the one who portrayed Suicide, so it would appear he will be in regularly as that character.

As noted earlier, Kazarian, Chris Daniels and Kiyoshi had portrayed the character at different points. The character was created as a tie-in for the first TNA videogame produced by Midway Games.
