MVP & Shelton Benjamin Returning to WWE?
MVP & Shelton Benjamin Returning to WWE?

It was reported Saturday that some familiar faces could be returning to WWE in the coming months as there has been a push from several top talents for the organization to bring back some "solid hand" wrestlers that were previously released. Two specific names in mind are MVP and Shelton Benjamin as organization officials have discussed bringing the former Superstars back to the fold.

Since being released from WWE in April 2010 in a cost-cutting measure, Benjamin has kept busy in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. MVP also competes in New Japan, where he teams with Benjamin under the tag team name "Black Dynamite."

    WWE Raw Report - December 10th, 2012
Posted by Steve Carrier on 12/10/2012 at 07:31 PM

    - Tonight's WWE RAW opens up with a look at The Shield. We see clips from last week of Ryback powerbombing CM Punk and they discuss his injury plus the changes to TLC. The video switches focus to the storyline with AJ Lee, John Cena, Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero.

    - We're live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey as Justin Roberts introduces Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler is in the ring at the top of a ladder. His Money in the Bank briefcase is hanging high. Ziggler says he's right where he belongs - at the top. Ziggler is here to talk about two numbers - 6 and 15. 6 is the number of days until TLC and 15 is the number of days until Christmas. Ziggler says for John Cena, Christmas and TLC are one in the same. Ziggler talks about how Cena has been handed opportunities but failed.

Ziggler talks about having to defend his briefcase at TLC. Ziggler says he will be the coal in Cena's stocking. Ziggler declares that he will beat Cena at TLC. Ziggler says then he will cash in his contract, beat Big Show and go on to be the greatest World Champion of all time. Out comes Sheamus to interrupt. We see ladders set up all on the stage and the ramp as Sheamus makes his way down.

Sheamus mocks Ziggler and says Ziggler is going to have to cash in on him because he will beat Big Show at TLC to win the World Title. Sheamus says for that to happen, Ziggler would have to beat Cena and he doesn't think that will happen. Sheamus thinks it will be Cena vs. Sheamus down the line, for the World Title. Big Show's music hits and out he comes now. Show says both of them are delusional. Show says he would like to come down and beat Sheamus up now but he can't because of the no-contact clause they signed on SmackDown. Show says he will knock out Ziggler too. They keep arguing and Ziggler ends up getting shoved off the ladder by Sheamus.

    - Vince McMahon is shown walking backstage as we go to commercial.

    - Back from the break and WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston joins commentary as Wade Barrett waits in the ring. Vince McMahon's music hits and out he comes. Vince whispers to her that Dolph Ziggler should be in the match. Vince says what about a third main event... something really big, monumental. AJ goes looking for Cena. She walks in the locker room and hugs him while other Superstars are standing there getting ready. Cena gets her to leave the locker room and says he's sorry to the other guys. Cena walks off after her it looks like.

Update On John Morrison/Melina Domestic Dispute
Posted by Steve Carrier on 12/09/2012 at 04:26 PM

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reported on November 18 that former WWE wrestlers John Morrison and Melina were involved in a domestic dispute the prior weekend, resulting in police being summoned to the residence they share in Los Angeles, California. He said details of the story would likely be published on TMZ.com, but ultimately, was not acknowledged. In a post on the F4WOnline.com message board Saturday, Meltzer explained why additional details regarding the incident have not been revealed.

"There was an incident reported to them (TMZ) but no police report to back it up so you can't really go forward with the story," wrote the Wrestling Observer editor. "Same reason I haven't said anything. I checked with police and if they were called, there was no report."

Since news of the incident surfaced online, Morrison has continued performing at wrestling events and comedy clubs. Perez, on the other hand, has continued to remain out of the public spotlight entirely. She last appeared at a wrestling show on October 12 in Tijuana, Mexico, accompanying Morrison for a match. She stopped tweeting a few days prior, and subsequently canceled an autograph signing she was scheduled to appear at later that month.

Is WWE Talking with Colt Cabana?

As seen earlier this week, WWE posted a video on YouTube looking back at Colt Cabana's time in WWE as Scotty Goldman. This has caused a lot of speculation online about Colt returning to the company.

Word going around is that the video was likely added as part of a potential feature on Jewish Superstars that was pitched for the Hanukkah season. WWE's website published a feature on most memorable Jewish stars earlier this weekend and Goldman was on the list. Unless it's being kept a secret, PWInsider reports that there are no talks between Cabana and WWE at this time.

    - Some familiar faces could be returning to WWE in the coming months as there has been a push from several top talents for the organization to bring back some "solid hand" wrestlers that were previously released.

With the lack of depth on the main roster, WWE officials are giving serious consideration to the suggestion. Individuals they have in mind would be of the mid-card variety to assist younger talent, as well as provide solid performances for the company.

There is a short list of potential names WWE is interested in, but no one has been contacted yet.

*RUMOR* TNA Interested In Former WWE Trained Luchador

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that TNA has shown some interest in bringing in WWE trained luchador El Hijo Del Medico Asesino who wrestled unmasked as Benicio Salazar in WWE developmental promotion, FCW. The report goes on to day that TNA believes it would be easier to have a luchador with some training in the domestic television style and because he worked for the WWE, would already have his immigration documentation ready.

Results from the Final Resolution Pay-Per-View

    James Storm vs. Kazarian
The Pay-Per-View opened with James Storm calling out Bobby Roode but instead Kazarian entered to call out James Storm but turned into a match between the two grapplers. The match initially started outside but was brought into the ring where the ref was able to officially start the bout. Kazarian seemed to focus on the head and neck of the Cowboy and was able to work Storm into a choke hold. The two were able to wear down on each other but Storm came out with the upper hand and nearly landing a last call super kick, but was stopped when Kazarian ducked behind the ref. This effort by Kazarian wasn’t enough to stop Storm. After failing to implement the fade to black finisher, Kazarian was taken out by the last call superkick and was pinned by Storm.

    X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP:
Kenny King earned the #1 Contendership to face RVD for the X Division Championship on Thursday’s IMPACT WRESTLING. The Matchup Started with the two shaking hands then locking up with RVD who was able to get King into a side headlock. The two exchanged holds with brief spurts of explosive moves from the two. King led into an impressive near pinfall to get things in his favor leading to Van Dam leaving the ring to slow down the momentum of King. Upon entering the ring RVD began working on King’s left leg to wear him down. When attempting to go high risk, RVD was taken out by King who kicked him causing him to fall from the top rope onto the ground. King brought RVD back in for a near pinfall. After some wearing down RVD made an attempt at two near pinfalls. The two went back and forth with neither successfully able to get the 3 count. After a monkey flip and a rolling thunder Van Dam was going for the five star frog splash but was stopped by King. However, things did not stay in King’s favor as RVD performed a body scissors into the cover to get the pin for the win and retain the X Division Championship.

    WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:
Joey Ryan And Chavo Gurerrero faced off in the ring but at the start Joey Ryan didn’t seem to keen on locking up with Guerrero, finally things sped up leading to Hernandez and Guerrero breaking down the sleezy superstar. Ryan managed to tag in Morgan who basically manhandled Guererro leading to Hernadnez and Morgan facing off in a pushing match with each trying to knock the other down. Finally Morgan managed to clothesline Hernandez to knock him down and tag in Joey Ryan. Hernandez put Ryan into a vertical suplex. Hernandez and Chavo traded off on wearing down Ryan with few opportunities for an offense from Ryan. After some work Ryan was able to tag in Morgan to wear down Chavo and allow for Ryan to come in and get back to work on him. The two worked together to wear down Chavo before Hernandez got back into the game and faced off with Ryan. After some back and forth it came down to Chavo Guerrero who jumped off the top rope for a near pinfall on Ryan but was abruptly stopped by Morgan who pulled out the ref from the ring to stop the count. The match was thrown out and the two teams ended up brawling with Hernandez getting the last move in.

    BULLY RAY VS. AUSTIN ARIES
At the start of the match Aries immediately slid outside the ring to make sure that Bully’s chain was not close to be used as a weapon. Aries managed to do a few things that seemed to make Bully angrier than he obviously already was. Bully Ray went to work on Aries, but Aries managed to turn things around to break him down for many near pinfalls. Aries even took a moment to mock the general manager Hulk Hogan during his series of offenses on the Bully. Aries wasn’t able to wear him down enough to prevent Bully from landing a brutal missile drop kick. After getting knocked outside the ring Aries attempted a suicide dive that was stopped abruptly by Bully’s foot. After some in ring action, things ended up back outside the ring and at some point caused Bully to start bleeding. As Bully was bleeding in the ring Brooke Hogan Came in to aid Bully, however, she was taken by Aries into the ring. Bully stopped Aries who got Brooke to leave with Hulk Hogan, who was at ringside c to assist. As Bully was distracted Aries got a low blow in and was able to get the pin for the win.

    KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP:
The two locked up with the advantage shifting quickly from one to the other with no shortage of hair pulling. Early on Tara wanted to call for a time out. Mickie seemed to have the advantage for the most part. When things seemed dire, Jesse pulled Tara out of the ring but Mickie kicked them both down. Tara was able to get control but after a counter Mickie had the pin on Tara, but referee Taryn Terrell was distracted by Jesse. Favor went back to Tara for a short time but Mickie did not back down and the extremely physical matchup continued with Jesse again pulling out Tara from harms way though Mickie was there to jump onto Tara from the top rope. Tara was able to get the three count after a widows peak taking advantage of Mickie being distracted by Jesse.

ACES & EIGHTS VS. KURT ANGLE, SAMOA JOE, GARETT BISCHOFF & WES BRISCO
The Captains, Devon and Kurt Angle faced off to start things out then things changed up when Samoa Joe and Doc were tagged in. Samoa Joe was able to man handle him at the start. Garett and another Member were the next to face off with things going back and forth between these two. Next up is Wes Brisco who faces another anonymous member of Aces and 8s. Joe came back in and faced off with Devon where Devon maintained the advantage despite Joe’s attempts. DOC and Devon and the anonymous Aces and 8s members tagged in and out to tear down Samoa Joe. Joe was able to get things together enough to tag in the Olympic Gold Medalist to take out the Aces and 8s members in the ring but it lead to all out warfare with everybody fighting. Angle managed to get the pin after some close moments and being nearly taken out by DOC who was stopped by Garett and Wes Brisco.

ONE FINAL TIME Christopher Daniels vs. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles
A lot of bitter feelings came to a head in this final match between the two former friends. The match started out with each man being fairly cautious making calculated moves. Each time things seemed to elevate Styles worked to slow things down by taking time outside of the ring. The two worked on each other with a hits and submission moves. AJ Styles managed to pick up the obvious advantage for some time but Daniels was able to turn it around and tear apart AJ. The two went hard at it with Styles getting cut open, which seemed to light a fire and allow him to unleash a series of offenses on Daniels who remained resilient. Styles attempted to finally finish things off with a Styles Clash off the top ropes however it was reversed by Daniels who was able to actually land a Styles Clash on him and get the three count for the win against the Phenomenal one.

    MAIN EVENT: WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:
The crowd was very much behind Jeff Hardy for the Main Event of the night. Roode went in after Hardy very heavy beating him into the corner and continuing it throughout the ring. The favor went to Hardy who kept the momentum for some time until Roode was able to pick up near pinfalls and pick up favor in this matchup. Roode was able to keep things going his way for a big part of the match and he worked at slowly tearing down Hardy. After taking too long to make his move up off the top rope Hardy managed to pick up some momentum but it was very short lived. The brutal match continued and it seemed neither competitor wanted to let up. Things seemed questionable for Jeff Hardy after missing a jump off the stairs and landing on the guardrail instead. Roode tried to capitalize on the injured Hardy but he managed to kick out. Roode tried one more time to capitalize but was kicked off the top by Hardy who landed a Swonton Bomb but was unable to make it for the cover. A weakened Hardy was gored by Roode who went for the cover but could not get the pin. Roode who was distracted by The Aces and 8s who just showed up was taken out by Hardy with a twist of fate and able to get the 3 count for the win to retain the title. Directly following the match the Aces and 8s took out Hardy. Roode began yelling about how he paid the group on Thursday and said he should be champ now… so the group proceeded to take out Bobby Roode as well.

Blossom Twins Interview: Talks TNA British Boot Camp, Wrestling, Futures, More

Blossom Twins Interview: Talks TNA British Boot Camp, Wrestling, Futures, More

    Hannah and Holly, The Blossom Twins recently took part in an interview with TNA British Boot Camp. In this interview, they talked about TNA how they got into wrestling, their future, and more. Here are a few highlights;

    Q. What's the toughest thing you faced in TNA British Boot Camp?

"Both - The opportunity to go to the Impact Zone was the biggest moment of our careers so far. We had to be over-prepared and ready for everything which was nerve-wrecking and tough, especially knowing Dixie Carter, Hulk Hogan and the likes of Jeff Hardy were watching every move and we had to impress the crowd!"

    Q. How did you get into Wrestling and then make the breakthrough to be a star on UK Wrestling scene?

"Both - Long story short, we watched it from the early age of 12 and decided that was what we wanted to do. We researched schools at 14 and started training at 15. We also trained in the States for two years, which I think really put us on the map. We worked hard until we were ready to be on shows and then continued to work our way up!"

    Q. What would it feel to be able to represent the UK in TNA Wrestling?

    Holly
    - "It would be incredible - we have so many people who have supported us in the UK, that to go and represent them in one of the biggest companies there is, it would just feel amazing! To also show the kids we teach that dreams really do come true if you work hard at them is huge."

Hannah - "It would be incredible to represent the UK in TNA. So many people have supported us and we have learnt from some amazing people over here, so to make them proud would be amazing!"

    Q. Where do you see yourselves in 3 years?

    Hannah
    - "We have been so blessed and grateful with the opportunities we have been given so far, so we like to live for the moment and take each day as it comes and just have fun! So hopefully just working hard and doing more of what we love!"

Holly - "I'd like to think that in 3 years time, I can look back on having been both a TNA Tag Team Champion, as well as a Knockout Champion. As far as what I'll be doing then, we'll have to wait and see!"

    Q. What has been the most enjoyable part of being on TNA British Boot Camp?

    Holly
    - "Where to begin?! The travelling has been incredible, we've been so lucky to go to some places that we've never been to before. Meeting our childhood hero is probably one of the biggest, that was such a surreal moment and one that we'd waited for 12 years! But honestly, I know it sounds cliché, but the whole experience has been a once in a lifetime thing, therefore we've enjoyed every moment and have gone into each challenge with a positive attitude! We are incredibly blessed!"

Hannah - "The whole experience has honestly been incredible and a dream come true. Being on the road and experiencing life as a TNA wrestler and getting to visit some amazing places was fantastic and so enjoyable. We definitely had some scrapbook worthy moments from meeting our inspiration, to experiencing the Impact Zone, to learning from legends!"

TNA British Boot Camp starts on Challenge TV on Tuesday 1st January 2013 at 10pm. Full interview can be read at this link.

    News on CM Punk's Injury

    - The unofficial estimate from a few people close to CM Punk is that he will be out of action for around three weeks but a more solid time frame is expected to be released within a few days. Punk's recuperation time will depend on how well he progresses while rehabbing the knee that was operated on. As noted, Punk's WWE Title match against The Rock at the Royal Rumble is not in jeopardy.

Punk's knee problem had been noticeable by some in recent matches but for the most part he worked through it without any outward signs of a problem. In the storylines, WWE blamed the injury on Ryback putting Punk through the table at Monday's RAW. Word is that the table spot was done in case he needed time off, which he did.

    Cesaro's Future

    - We noted on Tuesday that WWE officials that Wade Barrett and Dolph Ziggler are now ready for the "big time" main event booking, Ziggler more than Barrett. Regarding current United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, the feeling is that it will take a long time to really get him over but when he is over all the way, it's going to be very strong. their mindset is that Cesaro can win some and lose some along the way to the top and it won't hurt him in the long run.
