Team Ziggler (Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Alberto Del Rio & Dolph Ziggler) vs Team Mick Foley (Kofi Kingston, Kane, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton & the Miz)
Matt Striker and Scott Stanford are on commentary.
(1) 3MB (Heath Slater & Jinder Mahal) beat The Usos. No sign of Drew McIntyre. Slater's hair is now wetted and he is carrying this gimmick while Mahal is just playing along. Slater won with an impaler DDT. Not a terrible tag match with both teams getting offense in. Overall, a generic Superstars tag match to build some momentum for 3MB.
(2) Great Khali beat JTG. Khali's only defensive move of the match... and he botched it. The match was what it was. Khali hit chops and clotheslines, and well, more chops. Great to see Khali after his brain surgery, but the match was lackluster as expected.
- With Linda McMahon's U.S. Senate campaign over, WWE is expected to release wrestlers from their contracts on a more regular basis. According to PWInsider.com, there are people in and out of the organization who feel officials were holding off on purging talent more frequently this year to prevent her campaign from receiving negative press since she branded herself as a job creator. It has been said that the campaign led WWE to temporarily cease cutting multiple talents in one fell swoop as it had in the past.
- Dolph Ziggler revealed that he will be debuting new ring gear as he captains Team Ziggler at Sunday's WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view. Ziggler tweeted:
"new gear for @wwe #SurvivorSeries sunday, thinking @britneyspears bodysuit from toxic vid meets al czervic"
- Chad Baxter indicated on Twitter Wednesday and Thursday that he has been released from his developmental contract with WWE.
"Good luck with your future endeavours," he wrote in a message yesterday before stating he's a free agent.
He then posted multiple fan messages offering encouragement, including one saying he can "always make an impact."
Baxter, whose real name is Derek Foore, was a Notre Dame collegiate wrestling champion WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco recruited last year. He sparingly competed for NXT until the summer, and then was primarily relegated to non-televised events.
Developmental Wrestler Announces His Departure Posted by Steve Carrier on 11/15/2012 at 04:08 PM
Lucas Di Léo, a French wrestler WWE signed to a developmental contract earlier this year, announced on Facebook Thursday that he has parted ways with the sports-entertainment organization after requesting his contract release.
Di Léo, who appeared as Louis Fontaine for developmental league NXT, said he felt out of place in the company and wanted out. He is scheduled to undergo surgery on his shoulder in the coming days and didn't want WWE to foot the bill after having his mind already made up.
Di Léo also notes that he no plans to join TNA Wrestling. Here is a rough translation of his announcement: "Well, what I write will require a bit of open-mindedness and intelligence. From these facts, I think everyone will not be able to understand ... I say that because in my previous post I pointed out that I was going to give more details in a few times etc etc and in private messages that I 'I received, there was almost all the time the same thing: "Why?'
"So my turn ... Why do not you know to be patient? Why do not you read it right? Why do you think we accountable?
"I say this without any animosity, just human to human ... I always tried to be relatively close to the people who contact me, either for advice or simply encouragement, but sometimes ...
"Anyway, to end rumors that may arise, I have not been fired from the WWE (WWE does not return the injured people) and I'm not going to TNA (...) ...
"I asked to be released from my contract simply because I felt out of place here ... It's not a matter of level or anything, just a matter of honesty. I felt that I still had things to do before I get into this great machine that is the WWE. When I was active in a corner of my head, but from the moment I had to sit, I was working ... The fact is that, frankly, I consider that it is not the time for me to be part of the WWE.
"Which was "hasty" decision is that I had to have surgery in a few days. From here there was a dilemma: take the transaction costs of the WWE and ask to be released after my rehabilitation or be a man and tell them what I thought before they invest money for me. I chose the second option. I decided to leave now because I did not want the WWE pays money for me while in my heart I wanted to leave to explore other horizons.
"Separation was done in very good words, I learned a lot during my months alongside team coaches NXT and I met some very good people!
"I have no bitterness, I left a happy man, taking care not to slam the door behind me. I hope I have satisfied your curiosity ...
"And for questions like, "it goes back to the ICWA? "... I have never left the ICWA.
"Whether I catch this or that French structure, I NXT main event, Raw Smackdown, I am in Mexico, North Pole, Japan, under water, in the snow or whatever, I am part of the ICWA."
As mentioned last week, Triple H is a big fan of Brad Maddox and he will likely be back on WWE TV in early 2013. When they first did the screwjob angle at Hell In a Cell, officials had no idea what the follow-up would be so Ryback destroying Maddox on RAW last week is likely a way to keep him on the backburner for now but keep the door open for his return.
An OVW source noted that Maddox went through all of Rip Rogers' training and was one of the better guys there when he left for WWE. The biggest positive about Maddox is they say he was always working on his weaknesses. If he told he needed work on his mic skills, he worked on them; if they told him he needed work on his look, he worked harder on that.
TNA Knockouts referee Taryn Terrell won
her first OVW Women's championship against Heidi Lovelace. Gut Check winner
Taeler Hendrix was a special guest referee.
According to The Wrestling Observer, Kid Kash is now working in
the Ohio Valley Wrestling promotion as part of their working relationship with
TNA.
Taryn Terrell is also working in OVW now and recently captured the
OVW Women's Championship. No word on if she will eventually become an active
wrestler in TNA or just continue her role as the Knockouts referee.
King
Mo is getting positive reviews for his work in OVW. He is said to be a fast
learner and also has a positive attitude. One source even reportedly said that,
"King Mo is a great, great man."

Several Comments on Heyman's Fake Heart Attack Posted by Steve Carrier on 11/14/2012 at 07:45 AM
- The talk about Paul Heyman and CM Punk mocking Jerry Lawler's heart attack on RAW continues on Twitter with several wrestlers weighing in such as Steve Austin and Chris Jericho. The Baltimore Sun's Arda Ocal spoke with some Superstars and got their reactions:
Steve Austin: "I believe in pushing the envelope in an aggressive fashion. But when a guy damn near dies at ringside, let it go. You look at all the contributions Jerry Lawler has made in this business: from a work standpoint, a promo standpoint and then as a broadcaster. I think that's pushing the envelope in the wrong direction. There's better ways to go get real heat than that."
Chris Jericho: "I think it was pretty obvious, dont you? I kind of expected it. Punks promo was awesome. Its wrestling so you knew it would end up as an angle sooner or later. I got the same complaints when I did the alcoholic angle (earlier this year with CM Punk). It would be like being mad at "Breaking Bad" because the dad was a drug addict or something. Its just a TV show, after all."
Lance Storm: "Thought it was poor. Both he and Punk are capable to get real heat, no need to sink so low. Also thought it was out of character for Punk so it hurt. Punk is about Best in World and himself. Why bother joking about heart attack it goes nowhere. Interuption was okay and in character. Fake heart attack was cheap and pointless."
WWE's Matt Striker wrote the following on Twitter:
"Watching Paul Heyman makes me feel like I need hand sanitizer"
Heyman replied:
"I think @Matt_Striker's comment about me is low brow, uncalled for and insensitive. MY FEELINGS ARE HURT!!! cc: @CMPunk"

- WWE officials have shown interest in recent weeks in acquiring El Generico, a Canadian independent wrestler who uses the gimmick of a luchador from Mexico.
- Sources say we haven't seen the last of Brad Maddox after Ryback destroyed him on last night's RAW and sent him away in an ambulance. Maddox will be off WWE TV for a while to sell the beatdown but he has a big fan in Triple H so he will be getting a new role in early 2013.
- WWE's storyline update on William Regal after he was attacked by Big Show on last night's RAW is that he likely suffered a broken jaw and concussion.
There is a rumor going around that TNA has
apparently ditched the concept of a different announce team for each hour of the
show. It is said that Todd Kenely, Mike Tenay, and Taz will all be commentating
for this weeks Impact Wrestling. As of now, it is unknown if Jeremy Borash will
be commentating on Impact in a permanent rule in the upcoming future.
