Michael Cole brings Brad Maddox down to the ring. He plays the clip of Brad attacking Ryback at Hell in a Cell while reffing the match. Maddox denies that he was put up to it by Heyman. Maddox claims that it was his own plan. All his life all that he has ever wanted to do was be a WWE Superstar. For years everyone shut the doors as he tried to make it in the business. He tells the story of how he had a try out for $2,000. He had to go through the developmental system but could never seem to make it. When he realized that he would never make it to the main roster of the WWE is dream would never die. He wasn’t going to let anyone get in his way. He made a vow to himself to do whatever it takes to get to the WWE. That’s why he became a referee. He just needed one chance to make an impact. Maddox says Punk had no idea what was going to happen. It was all about Maddox trying to make impact and take his opportunity to get noticed. Maddox wants a WWE contract and he wants a match against Ryback.

Vince McMahon’s music hits and he comes out and says that he doesn’t believe Maddox. He thinks that Heyman was involved and he is going to get to the bottom of it. As for the contract, Vince says that he will give Maddox a 1 million dollar contract if he can beat Ryback next week on RAW.

Vince goes and grabs Vickie. He asks why he would allow CM Punk to hide behind a team at Survivor Series. Vince asks Vickie who Punk is going to face for the Title at Survivor Series. Sheamus is in the back with William Regal. Sheamus agrees to get a pint with him later.

Eve Torres & Aksana v. Layla & Kaitlyn

Layla attempts some sort of springboard move against Aksana, but it doesn’t really work out. This match received more time than a typical Divas match. That being said, I can understand by they don’t usually give the Divas that much time. (It seemed as though nothing really happened). Kaitlyn hit an inverted DDT for the win on Eve.

Kofi calls for Trouble in Paradise. Del Rio counters it but misses the arm breaker. Kofi hits the SOS, but Del Rio kicks out. Kofi leaps from up high but Del Rio moves out of the way.

CM Punk comes down to the ring with Paul Heyman. He puts over his 351 day reign. He announces his displeasure at the changes to his Survivor Series situation. Instead of leading a team, he has to face Ryback and Cena for his Title.

    ****Commercial****

CM Punk & Dolph Ziggler v. John Cena & Ryback

John Cena and Punk start the match. Cena locks on a side headlock and takes control. Ziggler gets the tag but runs right into a hip toss from Cena. Ziggler uses his speed to get in control and drop a series of elbows. Ziggler hits a clothesline before tagging in Punk. Punk hits a high running knee, which Cole refers to as ‘Vintage Punk’. - A fan sent the following in:

"On the October 24th edition of WWE NXT, William Regal made an interesting comment regarding the absence of Hunico during a bout between Brodus Clay and Camacho. The following is what was said by Regal, and you can hear it in the video clip below (the quote comes in during Camacho's entrance)"

"Camacho is usually out here with his partner Hunico, but Hunico’s not here and I’m not allowed to say why. He’s in a little trouble, and he got into a little extra curricular activities and causing a bit of grief to people, and he’s not gonna be with us for awhile let’s put it that way."

    WWE Smackdown Results 11/2/12
    By LOP
    Nov 3, 2012 - 12:41:15 AM

Report by Richard Trionfo & PWinsider.com

With all of the controversy over Hell in a Cell and who was responsible for Brad Maddox’s actions, the affair that probably does not exist between John Cena and AJ Lee along with Vickie Guerrero’s attempt to find a conspiracy theory, and don’t forget that we have a new World Champion.

We begin with Miz in the ring for MizTV. Miz says that there are some shocking incidents going on in the WWE. Did AJ and John Cena have an affair? Vickie Guerrero thinks so. At Hell in a Cell, Brad Maddox goes Rogue to help CM Punk retain the WWE Title against Ryback. Miz talks about his first guest and the dispute over which is more powerful, the Brogue Kick or the KO Punch. You might have missed Sheamus getting knocked out and losing the World Championship.

Miz brings out the FORMER World Champion Sheamus. Sheamus comes out and he is still in a good mood.

Miz brings up that it has been seven months since he has not had the World Title. Miz says that the World Title match was incredible, but he wonders how embarrassed Sheamus feels about being a loser after being knocked out by Big Show.

Sheamus tells Miz that he could ask Miz the same question. Sheamus asks Miz how his rematch against Kofi Kingston went. He doesn’t see Miz with a title.

Miz throws out a few reallys. Miz points out that he has beaten Kofi and he will regain his Intercontinental Title. Sheamus has never beaten the Big Show and he never will.

Sheamus agrees with Miz that he hasn’t beaten Big Show. He would be lying if he did not say that getting knocked out did not humble him. He gave his best but his best wasn’t good enough. Sheamus will not walk around with his tail between his legs.

Miz interrupts the Cliched Former Champion.

Miz reminds Sheamus of what happened at Wrestlemania to lead to Sheamus losing the title. John Laurinaitis got put in power and that allowed Big Show to get his contract that brought him back to the WWE and that is how Sheamus lost the title.

Sheamus thinks about it and he wonders if he should be kicking Miz in the face.

Miz tells Sheamus that he is a guest on his show. Sheamus should not be trying to take his shame out on Miz because he could not get the job done. Sheamus says that he can beat the Big Show but he sees the doubt in Sheamus’ eyes.

Miz says that he will regain the Intercontinental Title when he faces Kofi Kingston again. He is the Miz . . .

and he is interrupted by Kofi Kingston’s music.

Kofi says that Miz is a bit disoriented. It has been a while since Miz was on the Real World, but he has lost touch with reality. How many times does he have to kick Miz in the head to knock some sense into him. Kofi wants Miz to come to grips that Kofi beat him. Then he beat Miz. Then he beat Miz on Sunday. In three weeks . . .

Miz says that he will lead his team to victory at the Survivor Series, just like he did at Wrestlemania and he will personally eliminate Kofi. He is the Miz and he is . . .

Interrupted one more time. This time it is the World Champion, the Big Show.

Show says that he does not want to hear Miz taking credit for Show’s victory. He says that he has to side with Kofi and he thinks that there is something wrong with Miz. Why is Miz interviewing the ‘former’ World Champion instead of the ‘new’ World Champion? Why is Miz asking Sheamus about being KOed instead of asking Show about what it is like to KO Sheamus.

Miz asks Show how it felt to knock out Sheamus. Show says that to describe the perfect euphoria of closing his hand into a fist.

Sheamus reminds Show that he hit Big Show with White Noise on Raw and what kind of euphoria did Show feel at that time.

Sheamus suggests that they do this right now.

Show tells Sheamus that he is being delusional again. Sheamus will get all of the Big Show that he could ever want at Survivor Series. Show says that everyone knows that he will go to the ring and KO Sheamus again. There is nothing to prove tonight so he tells Sheamus ‘No’.

Miz tries to attack Kofi in the ring but Kofi sees him coming and Kofi with a back body drop to the floor.

Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio walk in the back and then we see Darren Young and Titus O’Neil walk in a different hallway as we go to commercial.

We are back and Big Show is walking in the back and Booker T stops by to congratulate Show on his victory. Booker says that they left everything in the ring at Hell in a Cell. Booker says that in his role as General Manager of Smackdown, he has to give the fans what they want. He is going to give them Show and Miz against Kofi Kingston and Sheamus.

Match Number One: Sin Cara (with Rey Mysterio ) versus Darren Young (with Titus O’Neil )

Young slaps Cara in the back of the head and he kicks him. Cara slides through the legs and he this a head scissors take down. Cara kicks the hand and then he uses the ropes for an arm drag. Young with a clothesline and then he drops an elbow and hits a leg drop.

Young with a neck breaker for a near fall. Young with a reverse chin lock but Cara gets to his feet. Cara counters a suplex and gets a near fall with an inside cradle. Young with an elbow and kicks to Cara. Young puts Cara in the corner and he punches Cara and then he snap mares Cara into a reverse chin lock.

Cara with elbows but Young with a knee and he tries for a belly-to-back suplex but Cara lands on his feet. Cara with an elbow and kick to Young followed by a missile drop kick and forearms. Cara with kicks to the leg and then he hits the handspring back elbow for a near fall. Young with a kick and Cara counters an atomic drop with a rollup for a near fall.

Cara with a kick to Young. Young hits the Orange Crush gutbuster for the three count.

    Winner: Darren Young

After the match, Darren and Titus do the Millions of Dollars Dance and then Titus gets a whistle and blows it. Titus tells everyone that when the country bumpkins thought that Halloween was over, D Young busted open the piñata in the ring. This was a case of a little dog getting in the ring with a big dog. Titus says that as a good Samaritan, he will let another little dog get in the ring with a big dog (and this big dog barks).

Titus challenges Rey Mysterio and Rey is ready for a fight. Rey throws a t-shirt at Titus and Titus gets on the apron.

    We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Titus O’Neil (with Darren Young) versus Rey Mysterio (with Sin Cara)

Rey with a kick to the leg as he stays away from Titus. Titus sends Rey into the corner but Rey with a kick and drop kick to the knees. Titus with a clothesline to Rey and he barks. Titus with a kick to the midsection. Titus with kicks to Rey and then Darren gets in a cheap shot while the referee deals with Titus. Titus puts Rey in the corner and he connects with forearms.

Rey with kicks to Titus but Titus kicks back and he picks up Rey for a slam and he gets a near fall. Titus waits for Rey to get back to his feet and he picks up Rey for a power slam but Rey escapes and he kicks Titus. Titus with a shoulder tackle and kick to Rey. Titus charges at Rey but he misses a boot into the midsection and Rey kicks Titus and then he drop kicks Titus into the ropes and Titus gets trapped in the force field on the middle rope. Young trips Rey but Sin Cara takes care of Young on the floor. Rey tries for the 619 but Titus grabs Rey’s legs and he picks up Rey and runs him into the turnbuckles. Titus sets for the charge into the corner but Titus’ shoulder makes contact with the turnbuckle and Rey gets the three count with a rollup.

    Winner: Rey Mysterio

After the match, Rey and Sin Cara do the Milliones de Pesos dance.

    We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time to take a look back at the ‘most controversial moment’ in WWE history at Hell in a Cell. Let’s go to the end of the match.

Josh Mathews mentions that Brad Maddox has been suspended indefinitely. After the Board of Inquiry, Brad Maddox will be live on Raw to explain what happened.

John Layfield says that a lot of people do not think that Brad Maddox acted alone and he is one of them.

We then go to footage from Raw when we found out the members of Team Punk and Team Foley at Survivor Series.

Booker T and Teddy Long are in Booker’s office and Teddy says that everything is out of control on Raw under Vickie Guerrero. If it gets any worse, there will be a full blown mutiny.

Natalya enters the office and she says that since Eve is on the European tour, she would like a shot to step in her role.

David Otunga storms in and he wonders when Natalya learned about leadership. Teddy asks David if they taught him how to knock at Harvard. David says that if Booker needs anything, he is here for him and he is his man. Booker needs a competitor to face a returning Superstar tonight.

Otunga asks who the returning Superstar is and Booker tells him that it is the Great Khali and Otunga spits his coffee on Natalya’s clothes.

Booker tells Otunga to get his gear on because that match is tonight.

This week’s live TNA Impact opened with a text message on the screen recognizing Brad Armstrong, who died today. The “In Memory” message was followed by a video package documenting recent TNA events.

After new announcer Todd Keneley and Jeremy Borash introduced the show, Borash sent the show to the ring, where Joseph Park was already standing by. Park did a bit asking someone off-camera (the floor manager) if he could start talking, then said he knows he’s not supposed to be out here to wrestle, but he’s a man, and a man has to fight. Park called out any member of Aces & Eights.

The A&E music played to bring out several members, prompting Park to note he only asked for one member. The four members then entered each side of the ring and circled around Park before Kurt Angle’s music played to give him away making the save. Sting was out next to help Angle clear A&E from the ring.

Park handed the mic over to Sting, who said tonight is Open Fight Night and he has a great idea to make it a little interesting. Sting said by the end of the night, someone from A&E is going to have his mask ripped off tonight. Sting’s music played and the A&E members shook their fingers no that it won’t be happening tonight.

Announcers: JB and Todd Keneley were shown on-camera to re-note that it’s Open Fight Night tonight. They plugged ODB vs. Jesse and Bully Ray vs. Devon in the ring, plus Christian York in Gut Check. They cut backstage to show York warming up in preparation for a chance to earn a roster spot.

Backstage: Magnus was shown walking down the hallway. A random person behind the camera asked Magnus what he’s up to. Magnus said he’s not giving away his secrets and will have to find out like everyone else.

    [Commercial Break]

Locker Room: Jesse was complaining to Tara about having an ear-ache. He said he doesn’t want to face ODB tonight, but Tara assured him that everything will be okay. He then asked to be sterilized. Tara slathered him with Purell, then Jesse declared himself ready.

Impact Zone: Magnus made his way to the ring for an interview. Magnus called out Samoa Joe for the TV Title, then paused for “Joe’s Gonna Kill You” chants. Magnus continued that he’s calling out Joe because he has an issue with him being TV champ. He said Joe just isn’t the image they’re looking for as TV champ. Magnus called Joe the Howard Stern of wrestling because he has a radio face. Magnus was then interrupted by Joe’s music to bring out the TV champ for the opening match.

    [Q2]

1 — TNA TV champion SAMOA JOE vs. MAGNUS — non-title match

Upon entering the ring, Joe blasted Magnus with strikes and kicks. Because of Joe’s quick attack, it took Magnus about a minute to discard pants he was wearing over his trunks, which made it look like he was wrestling in long basketball shorts for a second. Joe went for his rear-naked choke finisher at 2:00, but Magnus escaped. Joe then dumped Magnus over the top rope to the floor. On the floor, Magnus reached under the ring to retrieve a weapon. As Joe occupied ref Earl Hebner in a ringside argument, Magnus rolled back into the ring and tried to hide the weapon, which was identified as a wrench. Magnus then popped Joe in the face with the wrench, drawing a DQ from the ref. Afterward, Magnus taunted a KO’ed Joe, as the announcers speculated on whether this was Magnus’s plan all along.

WINNER: Joe via DQ at 3:43.

GM Office: Sting was shown talking to Joseph Park and Hulk Hogan about his baseball bat swing, then Kurt Angle barged in with Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff backing him up. Angle demanded a piece of Devon or anyone from Aces & Eights tonight, but Hogan reminded him that Devon faces Bully Ray tonight. Hogan said if there’s anything left of Devon, then Angle gets him at Turning Point. Angle said he still wants to fight someone tonight and unconvincingly noted he has Wes and Garett as back-up. Hogan confirmed he’ll find something for Angle tonight.

    [Commercial Break]

Backstage: Samoa Joe was shown screaming for Magnus with an icepack on his head. Joe screamed that he wants to do this the old fashioned way with no DQs and no rules. He vowed to kill Magnus.

Video package: Last Thursday, Austin Aries sneak-attacked Jeff Hardy after Hardy successfully defended the TNA Title against Kurt Angle.

Locker room: Jeff Hardy was shown in a dead-silent locker room painting his face in the mirror. After a pause, audio of Hardy narrating his thoughts aired. Yes, they decided to keep the Hardy’s Deep Thoughts bit. Hardy said in the voice-over audio that Aries’s overconfidence will kill him.

Impact Zone: Christopher Daniels and Kazarian walked to the ring. Kaz said they got some people upset with their comments last week about Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez, then Daniels called out the Spanish announce team of Hector Guerrero and Willy Urbina to involve announcers in the Tag Title angle. Hector was shown looking toward the ring and asking, “Me?!” as Impact abruptly cut to break.

    [Q3] [Commercial Break]

Back live, Hector and Urbina were on the ring apron continuing to take verbal jabs from the Mexican America playbook. Once Hector and Urbina entered the ring, Daniels shoved down Urbina, drawing Hector’s ire. Daniels put the boots to Hector. No sign of Chavo and Hernandez. After a minute, techno music played to signal Chavo’s arrival along with Hernandez to clear Daniels and Kaz from the ring. On the outside, Daniels noted it’s nice to see them now. Chavo shouted at Daniels that he’s not playing now. Daniels and Kaz backed up the entrance ramp as the announcers plugged their Tag Title match at Turning Point in two weeks.

Video package: Christian York background. York said in a voice-over that his whole career comes down to this one moment.

Back live, York was shown warming up in the backstage hallway, with his Tyler Reks hair flapping up and down. York continued to stretch leading to break.

    [Commercial Break]

Backstage: ODB was on the phone with Eric Young wondering where he is. ODB left a v-mail requesting his company ringside when he beats up Tara’s Hollywood boyfriend tonight.

Impact Zone: Jeremy Borash was standing by in the ring to introduce Christian York for his Gut Check. Out came York with a determined look on his face looking for another opportunity in TNA. JB reminded York that he will be judged by three judges next week, but it starts with an audition match tonight. Zema Ion’s music played to bring out the former X Division champion for the first mis-matched Gut Check match of the series.

    [Q4]

2 — CHRISTIAN YORK vs. ZEMA ION — Gut Check Challenge match

York lit up Ion early on as Keneley noted York has put on “a whole lot of muscle” since he last appeared in TNA. York dropped Ion on his head with a t-bone suplex, then landed a cannonball splash in the corner. York tried to follow with a top-rope move, but Ion rolled to the outside to avoid. York then grabbed Ion by his fancy hair, but Ion cut him off and landed a Swinging DDT. Ion checked his hair, then wanted a springboard splash, but York got his knees up to block. York followed with a clothesline into the Mood Swing neckbreaker, but Ion escaped a pin attempt.

After a reset, Ion grappled York for his lean-back armbar submission, which Keneley said is the “Submission Impossible.” York fought the hold, but eventually tapped out, giving Ion a victory over the larger York. After a replay of the events, the announcers stressed York’s impressive showing ahead of next week’s judge evaluations.

WINNER: Ion via submission at 4:20.

Backstage: A man behind the camera caught up with Austin Aries to ask him about taking Jeff Hardy’s TNA Title belt. Aries said he just saw it on the ground, so he picked it up since Hardy doesn’t care about it. Aries then walked into Team Robbie’s locker room to initially discuss their sweaters. Aries closed the door for a more-important business discussion.

Up Next: ODB calls out Jesse.

    [Commercial Break]

Backstage: Garett Bischoff was shown walking up to Bully Ray. He talked tough about having Ray’s back tonight, and Ray thanked him for stepping up to the plate for only being in the business for a few years. A stagehand then told Ray that Aces & Eights were outside. They walked to the Universal Studios area to pick up a brawl with A&E members that Sting and Kurt Angle were engaged in. Wes Brisco and Garett pretended to get in the mix as well. A&E then fled the scene. Sting vowed to remove a mask by the end of the night.

Impact Zone: ODB came to the ring for an Open Challenge against Jesse. No sign of EY, though. In the ring, ODB called out Jesse after a long speech about Jesse being fake from head to toe.

[Q5 -- second hour] At the top of the hour, Tara led a reluctant Jesse to the ring. Tara tried to give him a pep-talk before Jesse hit the ring to start the match.

3 — KO tag champion ODB vs. JESSE (w/KO champion Tara) — Taryn Terrell special referee

ODB slapped Jesse repeatedly across the chest to begin the action. Jesse then slipped to the outside for Tara to help his chest recover. Back in the ring, more slaps from ODB. ODB then bounced Jesse’s head into the corner turnbuckles over and over. Jesse cut off ODB, then proudly scoop-slammed ODB. Jesse and Tara kissed, then ODB returned the favor with a scoopslam. ODB got into it with Tara, who refused to get off the ring apron, then Jesse rolled up ODB from behind for a three count.

    WINNER: Jesse at 3:55.

Announcers: Todd Keneley was shown standing behind Mike Tenay and JB at the announce table. Keneley shook hands with both men and awkwardly-but-not-as-awkwardly-as-last-week handed off the play-by-play to Tenay. Tenay noted Taz is currently recovering from Hurricane Sandy, so he is not here tonight. Tenay and JB reset the show, then Robbie E’s music played.

Impact Zone: In the ring, Robbie said the most memorable part of this year’s Bound for Glory Series was him beating Jeff Hardy. So, tonight, he’s calling out the World champ so that he can take a second loss. On commentary, JB noted Robbie only won by count-out. Hardy’s music then played to bring out the World champ.

4 — TNA World Hvt. champion JEFF HARDY vs. ROBBIE E. (w/Rob Terry) — non-title match

Hardy landed an early splash from the second rope for a two count, then Robbie rolled out of the ring to collect himself. On the floor, Hardy whipped Robbie shoulder-first into the ring steps. Hardy followed by flying off the ring steps for a leg-whip onto Robbie into the guardrail. As Hardy tried to re-enter the ring, Terry sneak-attacked Hardy, then resumed his position with arms folded ringside. The ref didn’t see it, Hardy sold on the floor, and the show went to break two minutes in.

    [Commercial Break]

[Q6] Back from break, Robbie was in-control of the action center-ring. Hardy then made a comeback with Twist of Fate before climbing to the top turnbuckle for a Swanton Bomb, which was good for a clean pin and the win.

    WINNER: Hardy in 7:30.

After a replay of Hardy’s win, Austin Aries’s music played to bring out Aries possessing Hardy’s TNA Title belt. Aries said the difference between them is three seconds. He said he is still the greatest wrestler in the industry and outside of three seconds at Bound for Glory, he is the most-dominant wrestler in TNA. The crowd chanted, “Over-rated,” as Aries continued that he will knock off Hardy at Turning Point to officially reclaim the TNA World Title. In the ring, Jeff Hardy took the mic and told Aries that if they want to do this right at Turning Point, then they do it right. Hardy went under the ring and retrieved a ladder. Aries sarcastically asked if he’s going to put some new shingles on the roof, then noted to Hardy that when he talked climbing ladders, it was a metaphor. Hardy told Aries to make the metaphor a reality by making Aries vs. Hardy II a ladder match. Aries shouted back that he’s a pro wrestler, not a ladder-climber. Hardy’s music played to drown out Aries, then Hardy celebrated on the ladder.

Video: JB introduced a clip from the grand-opening of Hulk Hogan’s Beach Shop, where Matt Morgan crashed the event to call out Hogan before stealing one of his robes. Morgan told Hogan to watch what history he creates with the robe.

Backstage: Hogan was shown watching the replay on a monitor. “He’s starting to figure it out,” Hogan said with a smile on his face. James Storm then walked into the shot and made a case to receive a chance at the TNA Title. Hogan told Storm that he already proved who he really is. He asked Storm if he’s a betting man, then said he has an idea for him.

    [Commercial Break]

Impact Zone: Bobby Roode’s music played back from break. Roode came out dressed to wrestle and Tenay noted there are plenty of potential wrestlers for him to call out tonight.

[Q7] In the ring, Roode noted he is not here to fight, but to state a fact. He said the fact is that he is getting screwed once again. Roode noted Hogan had deliberations in his office last week to determine who should receive a TNA Title shot, and he was not included. In fact, he should have been the guy to receive a title shot against Hardy. Roode suggested Hogan is protecting Hardy and if he were not protecting Hardy, then he would be new World champ right now.

Suddenly, A.J. Styles’s music played to bring out Styles dressed to wrestle. Styles entered the ring and grabbed a mic, then asked Roode if he’s seriously going to stand here and complain when he should be the World champ. Styles noted Roode held the TNA Title for the longest in TNA history, so he should stop complaining. He said while Roode was World champ, he was dealing with his own issues. Styles said photos and videos were taken of him on an elevator with a person of the opposite gender. He looked toward the camera and said it appears to be the new fad, especially if your name is A.J. Styles paused for the crowd to ooh and aah at the obvious WWE reference to the John Cena/A.J. Lee deal, but the crowd didn’t react. Ya know, since they’re tourists who aren’t up to speed on two of the worst storylines of the year in pro wrestling. Roode and Styles then began brawling until Hulk Hogan’s music played. Hogan walked out on-stage along with James Storm. Hogan said the three of them will determine who gets a future title shot. Hogan said it will be a “turning point” for all of them. Included is a stip that the person who gets pinned won’t be allowed another TNA Title shot until Bound for Glory. Hogan said whichever wrestler wins will get a future title shot.

Backstage: Joey Ryan and Matt Morgan were shown walking down the hallway for the next segment.

    [Commercial Break]

Announcers: Tenay and JB broke down the Turning Point line-up this far, including the Storm vs. Roode vs. Styles #1 contender match just announced. Tenay also noted the Hardy-Aries title match is officially a ladder match.

Impact Zone: 1970s lounge music played to bring out Joey Ryan, flanked by Matt Morgan wearing Hogan’s old Shea Stadium robe. JB promulgated the myth that Hogan and Andre sold out Shea Stadium (when it was Sammartino and Larry Zbyszko), then Morgan entered the ring and reminded Hogan that he took off the heads of various TNA roster members on recent house shows. Morgan told Hogan, TNA management, and everyone in the back watching that he is going to eat through the entire roster one-by-one until he owns the World Title.

Morgan handed the mic to Joey Ryan, who said he typically avoids VDs. But, tonight, he’s calling one out, Rob Van Dam. Ryan said he will prove that the X Division Title can be… X-Rated. Cue up RVD’s music to bring out the X Division champion for non-title action.

    [Q8]

5 — X Division champion ROB VAN DAM vs. JOEY RYAN (w/Matt Morgan) — non-title match

Joey jumped RVD before the bell, then RVD came back with kick strikes to the face. JB claimed that RVD has re-focused on his career since becoming X Division champ and wants to help jumpstart the division. Van Dam delivered Rolling Thunder, then wanted a top-rope Five-Star Frogsplash, but Morgan pulled Joey out of the way behind the ref’s back. After Joey avoided Five-Star, Joey rolled up RVD with a hook of the tights for the win.

Post-match: Morgan entered the ring and destroyed RVD with a Carbon Footprint to the head. Morgan then pointed into the hard camera and asked Hogan if that’s what he wants. Joey celebrated the victory, claiming to have done it all by himself, as Morgan occupied himself with watching RVD roll out of the ring.

    WINNER: Joey at 1:35.

Backstage: Devon was shown preparing for his main event battle with Bully Ray.

    [Commercial Break]

Back from break nine minutes before the top of the hour, Tenay announced Bobby Roode vs. A.J. Styles booked for next week’s Impact.

Impact Zone: Bully Ray’s music played to bring out Ray for the main event (which never started). Ray shouted out to his friends in New York that this one is for them. In the ring, Ray took the mic and said first thing’s first that he wants to shout out to all of their friends in the Northeast. On to business, Ray told that “piece of crap” Devon that he wants to kick his ass. Ray dropped the mic to prepare to fight Devon, then the A&E music played. Devon was shown walking through the back-door entrance/exit before stopping ringside. Devon circled the ring, then slowly entered the ring as ref Brian Hebner held Ray back. Devon then hesitantly entered the ring, but bailed when Ray charged him.

As Devon circled around the ring, Ray retrieved a table from under the ring and set it up inside the ring. Devon then slowly re-entered the ring, but bailed to the floor when Ray charged him again. Devon then signalled to the backstage area and smiled. Out came six reinforcements to stand ringside. Devon then brought the whole crew into the ring. Ray grabbed his chain to try to hold off the entre group of seven men, then reinforcements stormed the ring in the form of Sting, Angle, Styles, Storm, Chavo, and Hernandez. A brawl broke out in the ring in a familiar scene from Impact.

The last two men left in the ring were Ray and Devon, who didn’t realize that Ray was right behind him. Devon then turned around and locked eyes with Ray. Ray dropped Devon, then teased a table move, but a big member of A&E cut off Ray. Joseph Park then hit the ring and accepted strikes from the big-man member. Park continued to take a beating while action occurred ringside. Suddenly, Park reached up and ripped off the big-man’s mask, revealing Luke Gallows. The announcers did not name him by-name, but Tenay said he’s been an enforcer before for some of the biggest names in the business. (Slam Master J?) Luke then slammed Park through the table and left the ring as Sting and Angle hit the ring. As the crowd sat quietly, Tenay quickly signed off one minute before the top of the hour with Luke leaving the ring to silence.

Hello everyone and welcome to this week's ROH on Sinclair recap. Earlier than usual, but because of the impending Hurricane, thought I would put it up before its too late.

So, if you all are ready, then let's get on with the show!

We see the usual intro, then Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show, from the Du Burns Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. Kelly & Nigel hype up tonight's Survival of the Fittest finals, then we go to the opening match.

#DemBoys The Briscoes (Jay & Mark) vs. The Bravados (Harlem & Lancelot)

"Man Up" chants for #DemBoys as Mark & Harlem will start things off. Mark with a side headlock, reverses Harlem's whip, Mark misses a clothesline and Harlem with a Sunset flip, but Mark rolls through it, whips Harlem and nails him with a boot to the face. Tag to Jay, as Mark sends Harlem into Jay's elbow, then the Briscoes with a 2nd rope leg drop/side slam combo for a nearfall. Jay with an uppercut, a whip and then nails Harlem with a back elbow for another nearfall. Tag to Mark, who nails Harlem with a club to the back. Mark with a suplex for yet another nearfall. Mark with a belly-to-back slam, then stomps away at Harlem, who begins to fight back. However, Mark comes back with a headbutt. Mark with a throat thrust, then Harlem with a whip and Lancelot pulls at Mark's foot as he was going off the ropes. That distraction allows Harlem to drill Mark with a pump kick for a nearfall.

Harlem stomps away at Mark, then tags in Lancelot and the Bravados with a double whip, followed by a double back elbow before taunting the crowd. Bravados with a double elbow drop for a nearfall. Lancelot with a suplex, then tags in Harlem. Mark begins to fight his way out of the Bravados' corner, but Harlem nails him from behind as Lancelot distracted Mark. While Harlem has the referee distracted, Lancelot with a boot to Mark's face and then Harlem gains another nearfall. Harlem with a chop, followed by a corner whip, but Mark goes up and over him, does a forward roll, then unloads on Harlem with some Redneck Kung Fu.

Tag to Jay, who begins peppering Lancelot, who also got the tag in, with a series of jabs. Mark nails Lancelot with some more Redneck Kung Fu, then nails Harlem with a hesitation baseball slide kick, sending Harlem to the barricade. Jay with a Falcon Arrow on Lancelot for a nearfall. The Briscoes call for the Doomsday Device, but Harlem pushes Mark off the ropes and onto the apron. Lancelot with a version of a Codebreaker on Jay, then Harlem connects on Jay with a slingshot version of a Diamond Dust. Harlem then leaps off the apron, nailing Mark with a flying knee strike. Harlem with a corner charge and connects with a clothesline, then Harlem heads up top after Lancelot snapmared Jay and connects with a Blockbuster, but Mark breaks up the pin attempt. Harlem sends Mark through the ropes and to the outside, but then Jay fights back on the Bravados. Lancelot catches Jay's foot off a kick attempt and the Bravados go for the Gentleman's Agreement, but Jay ducks under the Harlem enziguri and Harlem accidentally nails his own brother with the kick. Mark then nails Harlem with a springboard front missile dropkick, sending him to the outside. Jay then drills Lancelot with a roaring forearm.

Jay lifts up Lancelot and this time the Briscoes connect with the Doomsday Device for the victory.

Winners: #DemBoys The Briscoes by pinfall (Doomsday Device)

After the match, the Briscoes celebrate their win, but are interrupted by the Guardians of Truth, who make their way onto the rampway. One of them has a mic.

Guardian #1: "Hey Briscoe sisters, we gotta a little unfinished business with you two girls". "So, we demand your undivided attention". "You see, when we came to Ring of Honor, Truth Martini promised us greatness". "But lately, he's been a little busy fixing his broken House of Truth". "So, we have become afterthoughts with Truth Martini". "So, we have decided to do things OUR way". "We are former WWF Tag Team Champions". "We are the most TREMENDOUS tag team in wrestling today".

    "WE ARE THE HEADBANGERS!!!"

They remove their hoods to reveal indeed Mosh & Thrasher, the Headbangers underneath those Guardians of Truth hoods all this time.

Thrasher: "Hey, you two redneck hillbillies, we know that your SEVEN TIME, SEVEN TIME, SEVEN TIME, Ring of Honor Tag Team Champs, but frankly, we don't care". "We have beaten legends, we have held championships in the biggest companies in the world today". "So, I have one question for ya, are you gonna MAN UP?" "Or, are you gonna be chicken?"

    Jay has a mic now.

    J. Briscoe: "Are we gonna man up? "ARE WE GONNA MAN UP?"

    Crowd chants "Man Up".

"Headbangers, with all due respect, as far as tag team wrestling is concerned, until you prove yourself in an ROH ring, you ain't done s**t".

Mosh: "Hey Briscoes, just remember this, remember this one thing, there's no right way, there's no wrong way, there's only the Headbanger way".

Mosh cackles and the Headbangers do their infamous Headbanger dance on the entrance ramp as we go to commercial.

     Commercial

Back from commercial, we go to video looking at all the past winners of Survival of the Fittest before we take another commercial break.

    Commercial

Back from commercial, its time for the finals of Survival of the Fittest 2012.

Main Event in the finals of Survival of the Fittest 2012 in a 6-Way Elimination Match (The winner will receive a guaranteed Ring of Honor World Title shot on demand): "No Fear" Mike Mondo vs. "American Wolf" Davey Richards vs. Roderick Strong w/Truth Martini vs. "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin vs. Jay Lethal vs. Ring of Honor Television Champion "The Panama City Playboy" Adam Cole

Richards & Strong won the pre-match coin toss, so they will start things off. Davey goes for the arm, but Strong counters out. They trade counters in working on the arm until Davey kicks Strong off. Strong mocks Davey, but then Elgin tags himself in and Strong retreats to the outside. Strong gets back in, but then quickly tags in Mondo. Mondo with a side headlock, then no one moves off a shoulder tackle. Mondo tries a 2nd time and again no one moves. Elgin tries this time, but when Mondo goes for a leapfrog, Elgin catches him in mid-air and slams him down for a nearfall. Elgin again goes after Strong, who drops down to the outside. Elgin with a club, but Mondo fights back. Mondo with some forearms, but Elgin with a knee to the gut. Mondo comes back with a headbutt to the gut, then Davey tags himself in. Davey & Mondo exchange right & left hands until Mondo gains advantage. Richards then with a leapfrog, a drop down, followed by a dropkick, sending Mondo to the outside. Elgin in and he gets nailed with a dropkick as well. Davey leaps onto the apron and drills Elgin with the running apron kick. Then, Strong comes in on the apron and drills Davey with an enziguri, followed by a backbreaker onto the apron. Cole then nails Strong with a slingshot plancha onto the outside. Lethal hops into the ring, gets a head of steam and takes out Cole with a tope dive, sending Cole into the barricade. Mondo then heads up top and takes out everyone with a top rope moonsault.

Crowd chants "ROH" as Mondo rolls Davey back in the ring, gaining a nearfall. Mondo stomps away at Davey, but Davey fights back with a knee to the gut. Mondo sends Davey into the corner, but Cole tags himself in. Cole with forearms to Mondo, then Mondo reverses a whip, catches Cole when he tries to slide under Mondo's legs and goes for the Double Arm DDT, but Strong gets the tag in and drills Mondo with the Sick Kick to eliminate Mondo.

"No Fear" Mike Mondo has been eliminated (Sick Kick by Strong)

Cole & Strong slug it out, exchanging right hands, until Strong unloads with right hands & gut shots in the corner. Strong says something to Elgin to draw him in, but then he runs into a boot by Cole. Cole with forearms to Strong, then whips him into the corner. Cole now is the one who runs into a boot as Strong nails him with one, followed by an enziguri for a nearfall. Strong stomps away at Cole, then tries to goad Elgin in the ring. Strong knocks Richards off the apron, but Cole fights back with more forearms. Strong drives Cole into the corner, then hits a chop. Strong with a running knee in the corner, then lifts up Cole and hits the Death by Roderick, but Cole somehow kicks out and Strong can't believe it. Strong nails Elgin on the apron, then nails Cole with a roaring forearm, however Elgin comes in and drills Strong with a spinning backfist.

Cole then drills Strong with a superkick and that does it in for Strong, as he is eliminated.

Roderick Strong has been eliminated (Superkick by Cole)

Truth Martini can't believe it, but then Davey quickly comes in and hooks Cole in the Anklelock. Cole kicks Davey off, then lifts him up and hits a fireman's carry into a neckbreaker across his knee for a nearfall. Elgin tags himself in and tries to hit the Chaos Theory on Cole, but Cole counters it into a roll-up for a nearfall. Elgin misses a clothesline and Cole drills him with a leaping enziguri. Cole motions for a Shining Wizard, but Elgin catches him and lifts him up.

Elgin hits the Buckle Bomb, followed by the Revolution Elgin Bomb and that is enough to put away the TV Champ.

Adam Cole has been eliminated (Revolution Elgin Bomb by Elgin)

Lethal comes right in and nails Elgin with a basement dropkick for a nearfall. Lethal with a pair of forearms, but Elgin blocks Lethal's attempt at the Lethal Combination as we go to commercial.

    Commercial

Back from commercial as Elgin catches Lethal and lifts him up for something, then Davey comes in, however Elgin catches him also. Then, Elgin, in an incredible feat of strength, connects with a DOUBLE FALLAWAY SLAM ON BOTH LETHAL & RICHARDS!

Crowd chants "ROH" as Lethal & Davey roll out to the outside. Crowd chants "Feed Me More" for Elgin as he goes out after them. Elgin starts to head up top, looking to dive onto Davey & Lethal, but Roderick Strong, who was been eliminated, pushes Elgin off the ropes and into the ring. Lethal & Richards head back into the ring as it appears Strong is trying to grab a steel chair. Lethal & Richards exchange right hands until Richards nails him with an enziguri. Richards goes out onto the apron and goes after Elgin.

RICHARDS THEN EXPLODER SUPLEXES ELGIN OFF THE APRON AND THROUGH A RINGSIDE TABLE!

The table didn't fully break, it only bent a bit as Elgin COMPLETELY bounced off of it. Martini checks on Elgin as the crowd chants "Holy S**t". Lethal & Richards meet again in the center of the ring and Davey tells Lethal to bring it. They again exchange right hands, then kicks and chops until they begin slugging it out and then knock each other down. Lethal & Richards exchange more right hands when they get to their feet, but they both stop as they notice that somehow, some way, Michael Elgin has got himself back into the ring. Lethal & Richards stand in shock as Elgin is getting himself back to his feet while the crowd chants his name. Elgin blocks a Richards kick, then catches a Lethal kick, but Richards nails Elgin with an enziguri. Lethal spikes Elgin with a DDT, then Lethal & Richards look at each other and both decide to head up top. Richards with a wolf howl, then connects with a top rope double stomp right on top of Elgin. Lethal connects with Hail to the King and they both cover Elgin. 1-2........but again, Michael Elgin kicks out and with authority!

Lethal & Richards have a state of shock on their faces while Elgin begins to fire himself up. Richards with a clothesline, but Elgin does not go down. Another clothesline and Michael Elgin STILL won't go down. Elgin then spits in Davey's face and tells him to bring it. Richards with a series of open hand palm strikes, but misses a roundhouse kick and Elgin nails him with a spinning backfist. However, Lethal drills Elgin with a superkick, then Richards with one of his own. Lethal with a pump kick that drops Elgin down to a knee.

Lethal & Richards then hit stereo superkicks to Elgin and that is FINALLY enough to put Elgin away and we are down to 2.

"Unbreakable" Michael Elgin has been eliminated (Stereo Superkicks by Lethal & Richards)

    Commercial

Back from commercial as Lethal & Richards, the final 2 left in this match, get set to fight with both in an opposite corner of the ring. They slowly meet in the center of the ring as mostly all of the babyface ROH locker room comes out and stands around ringside, slapping their hands on the mat to fire up their peers. Lethal & Richards adhere to the Code of Honor, but then Lethal plants Richards with an Ace Crusher. Lethal heads up top and hits a leaping stomp for a close nearfall. Lethal lifts up Richards, but Richards breaks free. Richards hits the Alarm Clock kick, charges at Lethal in the corner and connects with a running forearm. Lethal then catches Richards and hits the Lethal Combination. Lethal keeps a hold of Richards and hits a 2nd one, but Richards kicks out. Lethal then goes right into hooking Richards in the Koji Clutch as Richards may be out cold. Richards, however, is able to counter out into the Anklelock. Then, Lethal counters out of that and hooks Richards in his figure four style surfboard, but Richards is able to reach the ropes. Lethal heads out with Richards on the apron and they go back to exchanging right hands, chops & kicks until Richards nails him with an enziguri. Richards then exploder suplexes Lethal off the apron and to the outside. Back in the ring, Richards heads up top and connects with a top rope double stomp, but JAY LETHAL KICKS OUT AT 1!!!

Davey can't believe it as Lethal fires up. Davey then hits a trifecta of roundhouse head kicks to Lethal, but Lethal kicks out again! Richards with a throat slash and goes for the sliding kick, but Lethal catches him with a superkick. Richards with one of his own, then Lethal returns the favor with another superkick. Lethal with another superkick, but now its Richards who is somehow able to kick out. We see Kyle O'Reilly come out onto the rampway to get a better look at the match as Lethal calls for the Lethal Injection, but Richards sidesteps it and hooks Lethal back in the Anklelock. Lethal kicks him off, but then Richards hits a charging forearm, a corner whip and a 2nd charging forearm. Another corner whip by Davey, followed by a 3rd charging forearm. Davey places Lethal on the top turnbuckle, then heads up with him. Davey connects with a Top Rope Superplex, holds onto Lethal and then proceeds to drill Lethal with a Brainbuster, but JAY LETHAL KICKS OUT YET AGAIN!

Davey with another throat slash, then this time connects with the running sliding kick, but AGAIN JAY LETHAL KICKS OUT! Richards locks back in the Anklelock, but Lethal breaks free. Lethal hits a Release German Suplex, Davey gets right up, charges in, but then Lethal connects with a Release Full Nelson Suplex, however Richards kicks out. The wrestler slap their hands on the mat to will these two on as Lethal is frustrated. Crowd chants "ROH" as Davey is having to pick himself up, using Lethal to do so. Lethal says something to Davey, then hits a headbutt and chop, but Davey then spits in his face.

Lethal drills Davey with a leaping enziguri, then this time hits the Lethal Injection and that finally, finally, BY GAWD FINALLY , puts down the American Wolf.

"American Wolf" Davey Richards has been eliminated

Winner of Survival of the Fittest 2012 and earning a future Ring of Honor World Title shot: Jay Lethal by pinfall (Lethal Injection)

The wrestlers, Kelly & Nigel all give both Lethal & Richards a standing ovation for their effort while Kyle O'Reilly goes to back, with an unimpressed look on his face.

We see highlights of the match as Lethal celebrates his win, with the crowd chanting his name and throwing streamers in the ring. Crowd chants "That was awesome" as Lethal puts up 1 finger, implying he needs only one shot to become Ring of Honor World Champion.

Lethal & Richards meet in the center and Davey raises Lethal's hand as we go to credits.

Backstage News on WWE's Brad Maddox Finish
Posted by Steve Carrier on 10/30/2012 at 01:20 PM

    - There were lots of ideas discussed internally for the finish to Ryback vs. CM Punk at WWE Hell In a Cell but the angle with referee Brad Maddox doing a screwjob on Ryback was what Vince McMahon picked towards the last minute.

The storyline reason for Maddox not being on last night's RAW was that he was going through a medical evaluation after Ryback attacked him at Hell In a Cell. Maddox will be back on next week's RAW.

Ryback defeated CM Punk via DQ in the dark match main event. In the closing moments of the match, Paul Heyman distracted Ryback when he had Punk up for the Shell Shock. Punk's Survivor Series team members hit the ring and attacked Ryback for the DQ.

Afterwards, Foley's team was right behind Punk's team to make the save, leading to a brawl. Ryback threw Punk back into the ring and hit the Shell Shock on Punk to end the show.
