Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen Impact Wrestling for September 13th 2012 featured a return match between Bully Ray and Jeff Hardy with the Bound for Glory Championship Match on the line. Impact Wrestling 09/13/12 Results are right below.

Austin Aries cuts a promo and hypes his match with Jeff Hardy at Bound for Glory. Here comes Jeff Hardy and we have words for the Bound for Glory Match. Bully Ray is out and says he should have won the series. We have some back and forth and this is a good opening segment.

James Storm is in the house.

Mike Tenay and Taz sent their best wishes out to Jerry Lawler. That was rather nice and classy.

Zema Ion scored the win over Sonjay Dutt to retain the TNA X-Division Championship. Solid X-Division action at its finest. Ion crotches Dutt off top and scores the pin rather handily. The champion gives Dutt more of a beating after the fact.

Christopher Daniels and Kazarian both have matches and if either loses, then the man who beats them gets a title shot. It will be Kazarian versus either AJ Styles or Kurt Angle and Daniels against either Chavo Guerrero or Hernandez.

AJ Styles will wrestle Kazarian and Wes Brisco shows up, with Angle suggesting he watch AJ.

Bobby Roode taunts James Storm, saying he screwed him out of the title and his destiny. James Storm comes out and they brawl.

AJ Styles defeated Kazarian to earn a tag team title shot. The back and forth action between these two long-time rivals and former friends occur. Styles fought out and hit the Styles Clash for the pin.

Joseph Park is on the case and Hulk Hogan has him protect Brooke. Quite the meeting right there to say the least.

Bully Ray goads Jeff Hardy into putting his title shot on the line.

    Hernandez and Chavo Guerrero talk.

Chavo Guerrero pinned Daniels with the Frog Splash. The tag team title shot was also on the line tonight and Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez also got a title shot, to join Kurt Angle and AJ Styles in the title hunt.

Gut Check challenger, don’t care. Name is Evan Markopolous for those who do care.

James Storm is coming to get Roode on Open Fight Night.

Tara is out to congratulate Miss Tessmacher. Then Tara proceeds to beat Miss Tessmacher up and hits the Widow’s Peak.

Dixie Carter and Hulk Hogan have a chat about Aces and Eights. Paranoia runs wild about who is behind this.

Jeff Hardy scored the win over Bully Ray to retain his World Championship Match at Bound for Glory. A good match, with two men who know each other rather well, and Bully Ray continues to be an awesome heel. Hardy gets caught on the top rope. Both men trade finishes and Twist of Fate, and Swanton gets the pin.

Jeff Hardy against Austin Aries will still happen at Bound for Glory.

Match of the night would have to be Bully Ray against Jeff Hardy.

Quick Results for Impact Wrestling 09/13/12, Zema Ion retained the X-Division Title against Sonjay Dutt, AJ Styles defeated Kazarian, Chavo Guerrero defeated Daniels, and Jeff Hardy defeated Bully Ray.

Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen NXT this week has Richie Steamboat against Kassius Ohno, based on Steamboat saving Jake Carter from a post-match beating from Ohno.

    Richie Steamboat vs. Kassius Ohno

Pre-match, the vocal males cheer on Ohno while one lonely child chants “Richie!” Steamboat’s armdrags and headlocks annoy Ohno, but Steamboat continues to dominate. Ohno can’t get any kind of offense going, but a thumb to the eye gets him some room, to the referee’s displeasure. The argument with the referee gives Steamboat time to recover and go back on the attack, so Ohno rakes the eyes again. The referee disqualifies Ohno.

    Winner: Richie Steamboat

Post-match, as Steamboat still reels, Ohno kicks him out of the ring and drops him on the guardrail. Ohno continues his assault and a second referee comes out to help calm things down. After Ohno leaves, Ricky Steamboat comes into the ring to berate the officials for failing to protect his son.

    Audrey Marie vs. Paige

Marie controls Paige with headlocks as Paige struggles hard to escape. Takedown and they come back to the feet, and Paige eventually escapes. double leg takedown from Marie and they trade hair pulls and roll all over the ring. Marie with a unique move, she scissors Paige and then rolls her in a circle, settling into a pin attempt for two. Paige with a stiff elbow out of the corner to take control. Paige lifts Marie up into a bearhug of sorts and DDTs her for the win.

    Winner: Paige

Backstage, Ricky Steamboat waves off Briley Pearce to get to see his son, but he encounters Kassius Ohno first. Ohno acts civil, and tells Steamboat that he’s glad they met, so he could tell him that his son has little potential and asks if Ricky saw him “hurting and defenseless.” They end up pushing each other, and as referees come in to break it up, Ohno shouts, “The dragon is mad, what are you going to do, armdrag me?” That was pretty awesome, and by far the best thing Kassius Ohno has done in NXT so far.

    - Video: Don’t try this at home – Daniel Bryan.

“Showtime” Percy Watson his the ring. Where’s he been? He’s facing Leo Kruger who has a new, militarized or safari look.

    Percy Watson vs. Leo Kruger

Kruger mocks Watson by squatting in the middle of the bring, then comes on strong with offense. Double footstomp in the corner gets Kruger two. Watson dodges an elbow drop to get some room, then goes on his old “NXT Redemption” series of moves. Highsman for two, but Watson surprising him and lands a sort of neckbreaker from the win.

    Winner: Leo Kruger

    - Video package on The Usos.

    Brodus Clay vs. Brian Collins

    Quick squash for Clay.

    Winner: Brodus Clay.

Post-match, they conjure up a few kids to dance in the ring.

Byron Saxton recaps last week’s ambush of The Usos by The Ascension.

The Ascension come out first this week. The Usos seem especially fired up during their entrance.

The Usos vs. The Ascension – Tag Team match

Jimmy destroys Cameron out of the bell, then Jey and O’Brien are brawling too. They cut to break about a minute in.

Cameron is getting tag teams in The Uso’s corner. The Usos are moving much faster than I have ever seen. Cameron is able to get a blind tag from O’Brien who steamrolls Jimmy. The ascension isolate Jimmy. Jimmy can’t get to his corner for a tag. Jimmy almost gets a tag but O’Brien clears Jey off the apron. Double tag and it is Jey wailing on Cameron. Jey keeps O’Brien out of the ring and still stays on top of Cameron. Cameron crotches Jey on the top rope, then lands a running jawbreaker for the win.

    Winner: The Ascension.

Jim Ross is in the ring to interview Seth Rollins. The NXT Champ comes out wearing pants, but no shirt. In the ring, he puts on a shirt. J.R, congratulates him on a great match, and asks him how he got through the back injury. Rollins said that there are always obstacles in the way. He says that he used to be called a “born loser” every day, so when Jindal Mahal called him that, he couldn’t be stopped. Ross asks him what it is like to now be the one everyone is coming after. Rollins says that he is a fighting champion and he’s willing to take on all comers, but they will all get blacked out.

    Latest on lawler

Jerry "The King" Lawler is making tremendous progress after suffering a heart attack earlier this week ... and is now awake, alert and responsive ... this according to Lawler's son.

TMZ spoke with Kevin Lawler ... who tells us, "[Jerry] is hooked up to tubes and is still not able to speak … but he's writing stuff on a notepad to talk to people."

"Not just brief notes, but detailed stories which show he knows where he is and what is going on.”

Kevin says the family was concerned about brain damage because Jerry wasn't breathing for several minutes after suffering the heart attack ... but doctors say so far, it appears Lawler's brain is fine.

As we previously reported, 62-year-old Lawler suffered the heart attack on live TV on Sept. 10 during a taping of "Monday Night Raw" in Montreal.

    UITSLAGEN ROH 8 SEPTEMBER
Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen Hello everyone and welcome to this week's ROH on Sinclair recap. If you all are ready, then let's get on with the show!

We see video highlighting what happened in the 2 1st Round ROH Tag Team Title Tournament matches last week before the usual intro.

Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show, from the Du Burns Arena in Baltimore, MD, then take us right into the opening match.

ROH Tag Team Title Tournament 1st Round Match: #DemBoys The Briscoes (Jay & Mark) vs. BLK OUT (Ruckus & Blk Jeez)

BLK OUT is consisted of Ruckus, a former ROH star as part of the Vulture Squad group, along with being involved with the only season of Wrestling Society X. Jeez is better known for being Rashad Cameron in TNA this year around the time of Destination X. Both currently work for CZW.

Code of Honor adhered to surprisingly before the bell sounds, as Mark & Ruckus will start things off. Mark with a side headlock, followed by a shoulder tackle off an Irish whip. Ruckus with a leapfrog, then catches Mark with a headscissors takeover. Ruckus then hits a handspring into a kick. Ruckus drives Mark into his corner and then taunts the crowd. Ruckus, however, takes too much time as he runs into a back elbow by Mark. Jeez holds onto Mark's arm, but Mark knocks him off the apron. Mark lands on his feet off a backdrop attempt and nails Ruckus with some Redneck Kung Fu. Tag to Jay, who nails Ruckus with a running boot while Mark nails Jeez with a baseball slide. Jay sends Ruckus into the corner and begins to stomp away at him. Corner whip by Jay, but Ruckus ducks underneath a clothesline. Jay ducks underneath a Ruckus clothesline attempt and goozles him, setting up for a chokeslam, but Ruckus nails him with a dropkick to break free. Tag to Jeez, but Jay nails him with a shoulder tackle off an Irish whip. Jeez with a leapfrog, then as Jay tries for a leapfrog, Jeez catches him in mid-air with a dropkick. Tag to Mark, but Jeez catches him with a rana. Both Briscoes are now on the outside as Jeez gets a head of steam and takes out the Briscoes with a somersault plancha. Then, Ruckus leaps off the apron, hitting a shooting star press onto Jay. All 4 men are down on the outside as we go to commercial.

    Commercial

Back from commercial as Jeez tries to nail Jay with a dropkick, but Jay blocks it while Mark blind tags in. Jay sends Jeez into a boot by Mark. Mark hits another boot to Jeez, followed by a snapmare takeover. Mark leaps onto the 2nd rope and does his little dance, but Jeez moves out of the way on the back senton attempt. Jeez gains a 1 count, then knocks Jay off the apron. Both men exchange strikes to one another until Jeez sends Mark to his corner before tagging in Ruckus. Ruckus with a suplex for a nearfall. Tag to Jeez as BLK OUT hits their version of the Hart Attack, then Ruckus takes Mark over in a Boston Crab while Jeez nails Mark with a leg drop to the back of the head. Ruckus then does a front bridge while grabbing onto Mark's head as Jeez hits a front dropkick to Mark, but Jay comes in and breaks up the pin attempt. Tag to Ruckus, who nails Mark with a forearm and a shoulder to the gut. Corner whip by Ruckus, but Mark catches him and hits an exploder suplex into the corner.

Mark with a forward roll and tags in Jay, who nails Jeez with a series of double sledges to the top of the head. Jay with a boot to Ruckus, then peppers Jeez with a numerous number of jabs. Jay with a high back drop to Jeez off an Irish whip, but Ruckus nails him from behind. Corner whip by Ruckus, who hits a handspring back elbow. Ruckus does a forward roll, but Jay catches him with a standing spinebuster slam. Jay hits a Falcon Arrow on Jeez, but Ruckus breaks up the pin attempt. Jay places Jeez on the turnbuckles, but Jeez blocks a right hand. Jeez then with a leapfrog headscissors takeover on Jay, followed by charging and connecting with Shotgun Knees in the corner. Ruckus hits a leg lariat, then powerbombs Jeez onto Jay and they get a nearfall as Mark comes in. Ruckus sends Mark to the outside and gets the tag in by Jeez. BLK OUT motions that its over as they set up for a double team, but Jay blocks it. Then, Mark comes back in and nails Jeez with the Uncle Mule Kick. Jay counters a Ruckus move attempt and nails him with a discus forearm. Jay then hits a Hangmans style neckbreaker on Ruckus while Mark heads up top.

Mark hits Ruckus with the Froggy Bow and Jay pins Ruckus to get the victory.

Winners and advancing to the semi-finals of the ROH Tag Title Tournament: #DemBoys The Briscoes by pinfall (Froggy Bow)

The Briscoes celebrate their win with the crowd as we go backstage where Veda Scott is with Truth Martini.

Martini: "The deal with the devil has already been made". "Jim Cornette, you had a problem and I brought the solution". "The "Man Beast" Rhino, he is gonna be your Ring of Honor World Champion". "Kevin Steen vs. "The Man Beast" Rhino and that night, I promise you, I promise all of you, you are gonna see a new Ring of World Champion in the "Man Beast" Rhino.

Veda asks Martini about the problems between Roderick Strong & Michael Elgin.

Martini: "Ah, ta ta ta ta". "Veda Scott, look at you, you're just like the rest of these people, always trying to stir something up". "Listen to professional athletes, yes they get hot-headed". "But remember, at the end of the day, they always listen to me". "I'll never steer them in the wrong direction".

Veda then asks Martini if he's worried about if S.C.U.M. might get revenge on the House of Truth.

Martini: "Worried?" (laughs) "Remember Veda Scott, at the end of the day, Truth always outnumbers S.C.U.M". (laughs)

    Commercial

"The Prodigy" Mike Bennett w/"The 1st Lady of ROH" Maria Kanellis vs. "Rock & Roll" Mike Sydal

"Brutal" Bob Evans joins Kelly & McGuinness at the commentary table for this match. Code of Honor sorta adhered to as the bell sounds as Bennett slapped the hand of Sydal. Bennett with a kick to the leg of Sydal as Evans says he is wearing his "day off" hat because this will be a day off for Bennett. Sydal slides under Bennett's legs and goes for a waistlock, but Bennett nails him with a back elbow. Sydal then nails Bennett with a dropkick. We see Evans giving Nigel a cigar at the announce table as Sydal with a side headlock. Bennett goes for a back suplex, but Sydal lands on his feet. Sydal blocks a right hand and nails Bennett with a forearm. Sydal with another forearm, then ducks under a right hand attempt and hits Bennett with a rana. Bennett goes to the corner as Sydal charges and connects with a Miz style corner clothesline. Sydal heads up top, but Bennett knocks him off the ropes and to the outside with a dropkick. Bennett sends Sydal into the barricade, then has words with the crowd. Bennett sends Sydal again into the barricade as Evans says he told Bennett to take it "nice and easy" in this match and that he only 30 to 40% of effort to win the match. Back in the ring, Bennett gains a nearfall. Bennett unloads with a series of right hands, stomps & chops in the corner. The crowd chants "You can't wrestle" at Bennett, who snapmares Sydal and locks him in a keylock. Sydal breaks free with gut shots, but Bennett catches him with a spinebuster for a nearfall. Bennett goes for a piledriver, but referee Todd Sinclair stops him from doing so. Bennett has words with Sinclair, but that allows Sydal to take Bennett down and hook him with a jackknife pin for a nearfall.

Sydal does a Matrix move to avoid a Bennett clothesline, followed by connecting with a leaping neckbreaker. Bennett drives Sydal into the corner, but then Sydal gets his knees up off a corner charge. Sydal heads up to the middle rope and connects with something out of his older brother's playbook, the flying double knees. Sydal then with another staple of his older brother's repertoire, the standing moonsault for a nearfall. Bennett comes back by nailing Sydal with a boot to the head. Bennett lifts up Sydal and hits the Photo Finish, but decides to pull Sydal up. Bennett points to Maria as he hooks Sydal in a Cobra Clutch of sorts, obviously wanting to make Sydal submit. However, while that is going on, Mike Mondo comes out to ringside, grabs a hold of Maria and proceeds to KISS HER ON THE LIPS! Bennett sees this and goes after Mondo and the chase is on. Bennett chases Mondo to the back while Sinclair starts the 20 count.

Bennett doesn't come back out while Maria is still in a state of shock as to what just happened and this gives Sydal the victory.

Winner: "Rock & Roll" Mike Sydal by count-out

Evans leaves the commentary table in disgust as we go to commercial.

    Commercial

Back from commercial as Barrister R.D. Evans has joined Kelly & McGuinness at the announce table for our next match.

"The Sicilian Psychopath" Tommaso Ciampa vs. "Alabama Attitude" Mike Posey

Ciampa shoos Posey away as Posey wanted to adhere to the Code of Honor. Ciampa then comes out of the corner and drills Posey with a boot as the bell sounds. Ciampa unloads with stomps to Posey, but misses a clothesline as Posey goes for a crossbody, however Ciampa catches him in mid-air. Ciampa lifts Posey onto his shoulders, but Posey hooks on a front chancery. However, Ciampa lifts up Posey and throws him over the ropes and to the outside. Ciampa has a sick look on his face as he goes outside and goes to remove the ring mats, however Posey gets back in the ring. Posey goes back outside and hotshots Ciampa across the top rope, then heads up top, hitting a leg lariat for a 1 count. That incenses Ciampa, who pops up and nails Posey with a clothesline. Posey goes to the corner as Ciampa pulls down the kneepad while Evans explains how he took all of Prince Nana's money from him and it was all by the book. Ciampa then drills Posey with the running Knockout Knee not once, not twice, but three times.

Ciampa then deadlifts Posey up and hits Project Ciampa for the victory.

Winner: "The Sicilian Psychopath" Tommaso Ciampa by pinfall (Project Ciampa)

After the match, we see Prince Nana come in at the announce table and attack R.D. Evans, tearing apart the announce table area. Ciampa then runs Nana off and goes to check on Evans as we go to commercial.

    Commercial

    "Inside Ring of Honor"

  • The 1st topic is the fact that the 2 semi-finals in the ROH Tag Title Tournament at "Death Before Dishonor X" are set. They are S.C.U.M. vs. Coleman/Alexander and the Briscoes vs. Charlie Haas & Rhett Titus. It has also been revealed that off his indefinite suspension, Shelton Benjamin will be in Charlie Haas's corner at "Death Before Dishonor X". We go to comments from Haas & Titus.

Haas: "1 down, 2 to go and we're going to Chicago". "And guess what? Shelton Benjamin's coming with me, his suspension is up and you think I would honestly go in to a tournament of this magnitude with just Rhett Titus?" "You stupid?" "No, see Shelton's gonna be my cornerman for this tournament, he's gonna be there to see when I, along with Rhett Titus, win the semis and the finals". "And Rhett, I could care less if you like it or not, deal with it".

Titus: "We're headin' to Chicago, Death Before Dishonor and all of a sudden, Charlie Haas wants to drop this bombshell on me?" 'He lets me know that his regular partner, Shelton Benjamin, is gonna be in our corner for the Ring of Honor Tag Team Title Tournament?" "Well Shelton Benjamin, I don't trust you for a damn second". "And Shelton Benjamin, I don't particularly like you either". "So not only am I gonna have eyes on my opponents across the ring, I'm gonna have my eyes in the back of my head and just in case one of you guys wants to do something funny, you will find out that Rhett Titus may only be one man, but I can fight like two".

  • The final topic is that a new match has been announced for "Death Before Dishonor X" as Jay Lethal will face Homicide. We see video highlighting what happened last week with Lethal before we go to comments from him.

Lethal: "You know a couple of people have asked me why I did what I did, but the question is, are you really surprised?" "I mean, are you really shocked?" "When you think about it, a man can only be pushed and poked for so long before he changes his outlook on life". "And by no means am I saying I'm ready to rebel against society, but I am saying that I'm driven and my motivation is to become the Ring of Honor World Champion". "With that said, in Chicago Ridge, I take on Homicide, a former Ring of Honor World Champion, a man known to be nasty, a man who brings a fork to the ring". "Well Homicide, in Chicago Ridge, you bring that fork and I'll bring the main course, because I'm gonna hand feed you this ass whipping". "When I wake up, everyone in Ring of Honor, especially Jim Cornette and I open their eyes and I prove to them that I am the man that's gonna take out Kevin Steen, I am the man that's gonna become the next Ring of Honor World Champion".

    Commercial

Back from commercial, we see a video package on Michael Elgin before the main event.

Main Event for the Ring of Honor Television Title: Adam Cole (c) vs. "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin w/Truth Martini & The Guardians of Truth

Both men adhere to the Code of Honor before the bell sounds, much to the dismay of Martini. Elgin backs Cole into the corner and breaks clean. Cole with a side headlock, then no one goes down off a shoulder tackle attempt by Elgin. Cole counters a slam and tries for a roll-up, but Elgin holds onto the ropes. Cole with a pair of leapfrogs, then tries for an armdrag, but Elgin blocks it. Elgin lifts up Cole, but Cole slips out and sends Elgin into the corner. Cole goes for a superkick, but Elgin catches his foot. Elgin goes for a spinning backfist, but Cole ducks and we have a stalemate. Cole with a waistlock, but Elgin backs him into the corner. Cole slips out and hits a pair of gut shots, but Elgin shoves him off. Elgin misses a clothesline, then goes Cole for a rana, but Elgin blocks it. Cole then counters with a Sunset flip for a nearfall. Elgin with a pin attempt for a nearfall. Both men then trade pin attempts until Cole with a kick to the gut. Elgin blocks a corner whip attempt and whips Cole to the corner. Cole with a kick to the leg of Elgin, then hits a 2nd rope dropkick to the same leg. Cole with a Shining Wizard for a nearfall. Cole goes for a suplex, but Elgin blocks it, then kicks Cole in the gut. Elgin goes for a powerbomb, but Cole blocks that. Cole with a single leg takedown and tries for a submission, but Elgin gets to the ropes. Elgin kicks Cole off, then hits a German Suplex for a nearfall. Elgin with a pair of chops in the corner, but Cole fights back with some of his own until Elgin with a knee to the gut. Elgin places Cole on the top turnbuckle and goes up with him. Cole fights off a superplex attempt and tries for a Sunset flip powerbomb, but Elgin holds on to the ropes. Cole crotches Elgin on the middle rope, then hits a lungblower. Both men exchange forearms from their knees, then on their feet until Elgin gains the advantage. Cole comes in off Elgin's blind side, ducks under a clothesline and nails Elgin with an enziguri. Elgin is upset at his mistake as he goes to check on the referee. While this is happening, the Guardians come in and start putting the boots to Cole. Elgin pulls Cole aside and yells at the Guardians. This brings out all 3 members of S.C.U.M, as Corino & Jacobs attack the Guardians while Steen & Elgin have a middle of the ring face-off. A shoving match ensues until both men slug it out in the center of the ring. Rhino then comes in and attacks Steen, then Roderick Strong comes out to help Rhino out. However, Elgin moves Strong away and then they both have words with each other in the center of the ring. A shoving match ensues between Strong & Elgin while the fight continues between the House of Truth & S.C.U.M. The referee & Cole are down as the match is I guess ruled a no contest.

    No Contest

The brawling continues as we go to credits.

Jerry Lawler Update: Fear of Brain Damage

Jerry Lawler Update: Fear of Brain Damage
Posted by Steve Carrier on 09/11/2012 at 08:15 PM

Former WWE Diva Stacy Carter ("The Kat" and "Miss Kitty"), the ex-wife of Jerry Lawler, says the King is being taken out of sedation and is now responsive after undergoing more heart procedures on Tuesday.

There is now fear that Lawler might have suffered brain damage during RAW after suffering a heart attack, when his brain was deprived of oxygen for several minutes.

Carter released this statement on Facebook:

"I have an update on Jerry. The docs are removing his ventilation & taking him out of sedation. He is responsive, which is great!!! It took a while to revive him last night so there's the concern of brain damage. He had some tests done which will show how much if any damage there is due to the lack of oxygen to his brain. Unfortunately, the results won't be in until in the morning. I appreciate all the calls, texts, tweets, & Facebook messages of support & I know Jerry will too. Thanks everybody!!"

Matt Hardy Set For ‘Major Program’ In ROH?

Matt Hardy announced today on his Twitter account today that he would be attending ‘Death Before Dishonor X‘ this Saturday – and there are strong rumours that the former WWE & TNA wrestler is set for a ‘major program‘ in Ring of Honor.

Hardy was at the recent ‘Caged Hostility‘ event in Charlotte, NC and was even involved in a confrontation with Kevin Steen at the end of the event to hype up their upcoming match in PWX.

And it now looks probable that he is set for some sort of run in ROH. Earlier today, he tweeted: “After visiting Ring of Honor’s event in NC & speaking with ROH executives, I’ve been invited by ROH to attend their PPV Saturday in Chicago. I WILL be at Ring of Honor PPV, I’ll be doing a signing & have FULL access to the locker room & talent. Extremely interested in 1 match..”

After the news, PWInsider posted the following: “We heard a few weeks ago that Hardy would be in for a major program that would include a iPPV main event (I’m guessing Final Battle), so this is the kick-off to that storyline.”

This news has been heavily discussed by the ROH community on our forum, be sure to add your opinion there too.

    Lawler's Condition

    - After RAW went off the air, John Cena and Bret Hart hung around ringside for around 10 minutes with the fans. One sports journalist who was at ringside asked Hart about Jerry Lawler's condition and Hart told him that Lawler was in really bad shape.

    - Jerry Lawler's heart attack at RAW last night has been picked up by several mainstream media outlets including FOX, CNN, the Associated Press and others.

    - The mood backstage at RAW last night was a very tense one. When the scare with Jerry Lawler first happened, nobody was paying attention to the show and a lot of the crew were in groups praying.

More than one source is reporting that EMT's backstage saved Lawler's life. That gives you an idea of how serious Lawler's condition was. People were talking about how it's a good thing Lawler had the scare at a WWE event where proper medical staff were able to treat him and save his life. Lawler just returned from an independent wrestling tour of Aruba where things could have been different.

At last word, Lawler was listed in stable condition at the cardiac ICU of a local Montreal hospital. A fan in attendance at RAW noted that there are several hospitals within 15 minutes of the arena.

    "Lawler was clinically dead "

Smith Hart, brother of WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart, says he was told by a friend backstage at Monday's Raw at Centre Bell in Montreal, Quebec, Canada that Jerry Lawler was "clinically dead" for twenty minutes being revived by a defibrillator.

He wrote on Twitter, "According to my friend Jeremy Prophet who was backstage at RAW, Jerry was clinically dead for 20 min before being brought back by defibrilat."

According to the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation, clinical death is the medical term for cessation of blood circulation and breathing, which are two necessary criteria to sustain life. This occurs when the heart stops beating in a regular rhythm and is also known as cardiac arrest.

Hart noted that "it has been confirmed that Jerry did suffer a heart attack." Since medical personnel were at ringside, Lawler was able to receive immediate treatment.

According to sources, Lawler remains in stable condition. He is breathing on his own and his heart is beating on its own, but is considered not out of danger.

    More details on lawler

WWE broadcaster and wrestler Jerry “The King” Lawler appeared more responsive after collapsing ringside during Monday night’s live episode of Raw.

Lawler, who had participated in a tag team match alongside Randy Orton earlier in the show, collapsed at the announcer's table while commentating the tag team match featuring Daniel Bryan and Kane vs. Darren Young and Titus O’Neil and was taken away on a stretcher. Lawler was backstage at the Centre Bell in Montreal, Quebec, Canada receiving CPR.

“This is not part of the show,” Lawler’s broadcast partner Michael Cole stated at approximately 10:20 p.m. EST.

Lawler was transported to an area hospital where he was receiving oxygen and breathing on his own, according to reports from Cole later on in the telecast. He stated at 10:55 p.m. EST that he appeared more responsive and was reacting to the lights in his eyes.

As the broadcast concluded at 11:14 p.m. EST, Cole stated that Lawler's condition had stabilized. "He is breathing on his own. His heart is beating on its own," said Cole.

He is now being prepared for a CAT scan of his chest and head.

There is a post-RAW meeting ongoing right now where they are informing talents that he's now been stabilized. Numerous talents were crying backstage when the incident happened/

Breaking Update: Jerry Lawler collapses on Raw

We're told Lawler collapsed and fell out of his chair to the floor following a tag-team match he was involved in on RAW. Paramedics immediately rushed out and took him to the back. He appeared unconscious as they carried him to the back. Several people in attendance saw him hunched over and convulsing in his seat before he collapsed. Once they got him backstage, they performed CPR. Lawler had what appeared like a seizure. The crew was cleaning the floor as he may have vomited after falling out of his chair.

According to sources, backstage during the commercial break, people were "running all over the place seemingly not knowing what to do." There were numerous people crying as well. There was also discussion of scrapping the show but they wound up finishing things up without a commentary team.

UPDATE: Michael Cole returned to commentary and said that Jerry Lawler passed out at ringside and collapsed. Cole said that Lawler has been taken to a local hospital and is receiving oxygen and is breathing on his own. Cole said that their prayers are with him and that out of respect, there will be no further commentary for the show.

Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen Are you ready? Then stop questioning your heart and join me because it’s time for Monday Night RAW!

Justin Roberts is in the ring and introduces Canada’s own, Bret “The Hitman” Hart. He makes his way down to the ring for the first time in 15 years in a WWE ring in Montreal! The crowd is on their feet for the hometown hero. His hair has a golden tint to it as he thanks the crowd, merci. They are on their feet and roaring. It’s an astounding ovation as they begin an ole’ chant.

Hart says that he is a bit speechless after 15 years. He puts over the fans that have supported him over the years. He mentions the Montreal Screwjob as he describes the dark day. He says that he is proud of everything that he did on that day. He thanks the fans of Montreal as they helped him through everything. The crowd is once again roaring as Hart thanks them one last time.

CM Punk’s music hits and the crowd erupts with their disproval. On his way down the ramp a fan gets in to it with Punk as he yells at the WWE Superstar while Punk just stares at him. Punk is wearing Purple tights tonight, no doubt to egg on the Hitman’s fans.

Punk says if he wrote a book he would call it, “What If”. For what if Punk had wrestled Hart back in ’97 instead of Michaels? Hart says that it doesn’t matter because he would have destroyed Punk. Punk says that that is not true. If that had happened the WWE would not be as it is today. Punk wouldn’t have needed Vince to screw Bret, because he would have beaten him. The precious Attitude Era would never have been born and Punk would have jumped a sinking ship and headed over to WCW.

Hart says he underestimated the brilliance of Punk and scoffs at him. Hart says Punk isn’t the best in the world because he himself is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. Punk says anyone can call themselves anything. Just like Lawler calls himself the King of Memphis. Hart says that he and Lawler have a history, but Lawler would always show up and he would never leave as a coward.

A clip plays of Paul Heyman driving CM Punk away at the end of the night. Punk claims that it was just happenstance that he ran into Cena and attacked him last week. Punk asks if Cena has the back of Hart tonight. Punk asks him if Cena is going to run out here when things get too hot.

Hart says that he did speak to Cena earlier tonight. He told John that he wanted to come out and speak to the crowd by himself first. He says with all due respect –

Punk cuts him off and says if he knew anything about respect then he wouldn’t be speaking to the WWE Champion like this. Punk says he will beat Cena once again this Sunday and prove that he is the greatest WWE Champion of all time. He deserves the kind of reaction that Hart received tonight in every arena around the world. Punk says he is going to put John Cena asleep. Hart retorts, just like you are putting all these people in the arena sleep right now. The crowd agrees. Punk replies no, at Night of Champions I am going to leave Cena an empty shell of a man, just like you are. The crowd chants, “asshole”.

While the WWE refers to the building as bizarro world, the truth is they tell the WWE the truth. Cena says that Punk has held the belt for 300 days, and for 300 days the belt has been irrelevant. He hasn’t even main evented a PPV in 9 months. The night that Punk was the loudest was the night that his mic was turned off. Cena says that Punk promised change, but it wasn’t anything that he said he wanted at the time. The only change was that Punk became a star. Cena went from an underdog to the odds on favorite. It’s been a terrible year for Cena between Punk, Wrestlemania and so much more. But everything that he has done, he has done by himself. Cena even chastises Punk for stealing the elbow of the late Randy Savage.

It’s all because CM Punk can’t figure out who he is. Punk thinks that because he has the belt he deserves respect, but he has to earn it. At Night of Champions Punk will have to find a new identity. At NOC he is in serious jeopardy of losing the belt. Cena speaks to the crowd in French. Punk says that Cena has lowered himself to speak to the people in their language. Cena doesn’t lower himself, they are the reason that he is here. Cena is fired up and calls Punk a little bitch. Cena says he is going to kick Punk’s ass at Night of Champions!

Cena and Punk stare at each other eye to eye and look ready to fight. Hart drops the microphone and punches Punk in the face! Punk rolls out of the ring. Cena and Hart celebrate together in the ring.

Cole closes the show by announcing that Lawler is now stabilized and breathing on his own.
