Are you ready? Then stop questioning your heart and join me because it's time for Monday Night RAW!

John Laurinaitis' music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. He introduces himself to the crowd and says that last week John Cena embarrassed him. JL says that Brock injured Cena's arm, and he injured Cena's pride. He vows to put an end to Cena at Over the Limit. JL will show everyone around the world how skillful and dangerous he can be. He refuses to apologize to Cena for attacking his arm with a steel chair. He claims that he was not reprimanded by the Board of Directors because they understand that he is hard but fair. He says that Cena will not be live at RAW because he wants him to rehab his arm. However, JL is requiring that Cena apologize for making fun of his voice. In fact, anybody who makes fun of Laurinaitis' voice will face severe consequences. He puts over his success in Japan with a slide show and says that his voice sounds the way it does because of an injury he suffered overseas at the hands of Dr. Death Steve Williams. He says that he was the Hulk Hogan of Japan. Laurinaitis says that his match against Cena will be bigger than any other match in history. He says that he hopes God has mercy on the soul of Cena.

CM Punk's music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Punk says that John has no idea what the people want. Punk says that today he is on JL's side. But, he isn't just going to tell him what the people want to see; instead he will start by telling him what they don't want. What the WWE fans don't want to see is Laurinaitis. Punk says JL wasn't all that great over in Japan, and he has some more truth to spill. The first is that he put all his chips in Lesnar, and then Cena beat him. Punk says that the reason JL went to Japan is because no one in the States would pay to see it. JL asks if he is finished. The crowd supports Punk with a roar of no. Punk says he is stupid, ugly, and he has no friends. Also, he happens to be a gigantic tool box. JL says that if he wasn't training for his match with Cena he would pummel him into the ground. Instead, Punk will face another man who went to Japan to hone his skill – Lord Tensai. Punk says he isn't surprised given that Laurinaitis likes to hide behind other people. Punk can't wait until Over the Limit to watch Cena demolish him.

    # Backstage Laurinaitis is walking while texting and bumps into Big Show. He yells at him for not getting out of the way when his boss is coming. When he walks away Show mocks his voice. Eve walks up and does not look amused.

Cody Rhodes v. The Big Show

    Winner: The Big Show
    STILL IC Champion: Cody Rhodes

Big Show grabs a microphone and calls for Cody to come back, but he walks away.

Eve Torres comes out and gets into the ring. She asks Show to apologize. He asks what for. She says for making fun of John Laurinaitis. He shrugs and says that he is sorry. She says that she asked for an apology and then reminds him that there isn't much demand for a 40 year old freak like him outside of the business. Show looks downtrodden and says that he apologizes. Eve looks smug as he exits the ring.

Michael Cole is in the ring and John Cena is on the Titantron. Cena says that a group of doctors have recommended that he stay out of the ring for the next couple of months due to the injury to his arm. Cena says that he doesn't care because nothing will keep him out of the ring. Cena says that Laurinaitis wasn't reprimanded because he told the Board that he wanted to face him at Over the Limit. Cole says Cena might be scared because of Laurinaitis' accomplishments. Cena laughs and says that at Over the Limit he is going to kick his ass!

Chris backs him into the corner and unloads with several punches. The referee makes him back up. Orton kicks him in the gut and then whips him to the opposite post. Sheamus gets the tag. Jericho tries to leap over him in the corner but Sheamus catches him and kicks him hard in the gut. Sheamus puts him on the apron and clobbers his chest. Del Rio tries to interfere but Sheamus throws him out. The distraction allows Jericho to throw Sheamus shoulder first into the steel post. Sheamus falls out of the ring and Del Rio kicks him for good measure.

Winners: Chris Jericho & Alberto Del Rio

    ANDDDDD I'm back

    # Chris Jericho, Randy Orton & Alberto Del Rio are in Laurinaitis' office and are arguing about who should be the new #1 Contender. They all begin to brawl. Sheamus and Orton seem to gain the upper hand, but then argue about the end of the last match.

Brodus Clay comes out and proceeds to have a large dance party in the ring. Miz comes out and tells him to call his momma and tell her that he is awesome.

    Brodus Clay v. The Miz

Miz goes right after Brodus, but gets hits with a clothesline. Miz is tossed out of the ring which causes Clay's dancers to laugh. Clay chases after him and then slide back into the ring. Miz connects with a series of kicks and a boot to the face. Miz stomps on his gut. Cover, but Clay tosses him off. Miz puts him in the corner and hits a high splash. Miz leaps from the top rope for a crossbody but Brodus swats him away. Miz gets back to his feet and locks on a rear headlock. He leaps onto the back of Clay, but Clay tosses him into the middle of the ring. Miz kicks out his leg and hits a DDT. Cover, but Clay tosses him off. Clay punches his way back to his feet, but misses a clothesline. Miz kicks out his leg and then hits a high knee to the jaw. Miz gets behind him and locks on a chinlock. Clay lifts him up for a big side slam. Clay catches Miz off the top rope on crossbody and hits a Sheeplex. Clay connects with a splash and this match is over.

Winner via The Power of Funk: Brodus Clay

    ****Commercial****

Brock Lesnar's music hits and PAUL HEYMAN! It's Paul Heyman!!!

He gets into the ring and grabs a mic. He says that he is here tonight as the representative of Brock Lesnar - a man who has been maligned and mistreated by the WWE audience since day one. He says that it is especially true of corporate management. He says that the WWE is different than it was 10 years ago because it is more image conscience now. Heyman says that Lesnar made some reasonable demands for his contract a couple weeks ago which Laurinaitis agreed to. Lesnar feels betrayed by the WWE audience. Heyman says that Lesnar is an honest man. He said he'd be an ass kicking machine and he was. Heyman says he doesn't need to keep going over Lesnar's accolades because he has a statement to read from Lesnar himself:

I came back to bring legitimacy to the WWE, that's exactly what I did. And how was I rewarded? With the same corporate bs and politics that led me to leave eight years ago. I don't regret what I did to John Cena. I embarrassed him. Another guy I embarrassed was HHH.

The statement goes on to say that he doesn't care about HHH or the WWE because Lesnar is never coming back. Because Lesnar quits!

    ****Commercial****

    # Big Show is backstage with the stars of the new USA show 'Common Law'. Eve Torres walks into the shot and is still not amused.

CM Punk's music hits, but Laurinaitis comes out and cuts him off. He says that Punk will now be in a handicap match against Tensai & Daniel Bryan!

    ****Commercial****

CM Punk v. Lord Tensai & Daniel Bryan

Punk is in the ring with Tensai and gets slammed down to the mat. Bryan gets the tag and goes for a pin. Punk kicks out and tries a roll up. Bryan kicks out. Tensai gets the tag and lifts Punk to his feet. Tensai hits a hard double underhook. Punk rolls out of the ring and Tensai follows after and throws him into the steel post.

Both men get back into the ring and Tensai applies a nerve pinch. Punk is slammed to the mat and then hit with a senton. Bryan takes to the top rope after the tag and leaps for a big headbutt. Punk moves out of the way. Punk hits a heelkick to the jaw and follows it with a swinging neckbreaker. Punk takes a second and gets to his feet and hits a bulldog! Punk lifts him up for a GTS, but Bryan scurries off and Tensai tags himself into the ring. Bryan is clotheslined out, but Tensai comes charging in. Tensai hits his double chokeslam and then spits the mist onto his hand! Tensai grips the skull of Punk and then slams him skullfirst into the mat.

Winners: Lord Tensai & Daniel Bryan

After the match, Bryan attacks Punk. He applies the Yes Lock and then taunts the crowd.

Mickie James Interview: Speaks On Possible WWE Return, Knockouts Division

Mickie James Interview: Speaks On Possible WWE Return, Knockouts Division

    Posted Image

TNA Knockout Mickie James recently spoke with SportstownChicago.com to promote her June 30th against Melina in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Check out some of the highlights:

On if she would return to WWE:
"In this business, it's not one of those things where you can never say never. Right now, I'm having a great time at TNA and I've been enjoying it. I can't say anytime soon."

    On the Knockout Division:
"We have a very strong division. The only difference is the style and the types of matches and the length of the matches that we have. It's a rarity when a woman can main event the show and I've been fortunate enough to do that. I'm very blessed to be looked at as equal as someone who can hold that level at the end of the show. It's an honor. We have Sarita, who's very well known in Mexico and a main star in the Knockouts roster. Everybody is a little bit different," she said.

You can listen to the full interview here.

Mark Haskins Interview: Talks UK Tour, Infamous Shooting Star Press Spot And More

Mark Haskins Interview: Talks UK Tour, Infamous Shooting Star Press Spot And More

TNA Wrestler Mark Haskins recently spoke with TalkSport.co.uk new wrestling radio segment entitled "The Beatdown" regarding the 2012 TNA UK tour, his botched shooting star press incident, meeting wrestling legends and more. Below is a quick recap:

On being on the 2012 TNA UK Tour:
"It was a great experience. We were here the year before with the previous tour and it was huge, i think there was about 6 or 7 thousand and a year later there was an even bigger crowd. It was for TV, my family was there, my friends were there, People i knew from school back in the day were there."

On the now infamous botched shooting press spot:
"In all honesty, i went to the top, did the jump and something didnt feel right. The next thing i remember is being in the back with some of the agents around me. I was shouting my girlfriends name, I was knocked out. I came down, i don't know what it was that went wrong. i dont know if i didn't get enough jump, i don't know whether i slipped. I was completely out of it. There were two or three moves after i actually landed. I don't remember any of that. I don't remember getting to the back. I don't remember how i got to the dressing room. Apparently I was walking around and talking to people. It was sure a scary thing."

On being backstage with the likes of Hulk Hogan, Sting and Jeff Hardy:
"It's weird. To think back when i was a child and i used to be a huge hulk hogan fan. I used to be a huge kurt angle fan and an AJ Styles fan. Now I'm just like 'Hey Kurt, how are you doing?'. You do have that reality check where you go 'damn, i used to have an action figure of you' and 'You used to be my world champion'. I used to watch every Kurt Angle match and now however many years later you now you are like 'oh hey, yeah how are you doing?'."

"It's so strange especially since the first tour i did for TNA on their European tour about this time last year, i thought would just be a local match. We were in Leon France. The match ended up being Shannon Moore and myself versus Matt Hardy and Jeff Jarrett with Kurt Angle as the special guest referee. I just stood there looking around and it kind of dawned on me for a second These are the guys i used to watch when i was 10 years old. If you had told me when i was 10 to 15 years old that i would end up in that situation, i would have never believed it. At the end of the day it just goes to prove that if you work hard enough your dreams do come true."

CM Punk's Straight Edge Lifestyle is Genuine?

CM Punk's Straight Edge Lifestyle is Genuine?
Posted by Steve Carrier on 05/06/2012 at 05:50 PM

Throughout his career, CM Punk has consistently used the gimmick of being "Straight Edge," a lifestyle he repeatedly claims to follow in his actual day-to-day life. In the latest issue of Power Slam, magazine editor Findlay Martin responds to a reader's query as to whether Punk's "Straight Edge" gimmick is just that, a "fictitious" gimmick.

"That's a vicious rumour, as far as we know," Martin responds. "We have spoken to many people over the last eight years who have been to bars and nightclubs with Punk and/or traveled with him in Europe and the U.S. and Canada, and all report that Punk has invariably abstained from alcohol, illegal drugs and tobacco."

Martin, however, says that some wrestlers who worked with Punk during his path to the WWE main roster years ago found his drug-free proclamation to be phony. And upon reaching the main roster, he was shunned for living an alternative lifestyle.

"Since most wrestlers habitually use alcohol and/or drugs and are instinctively distrustful of fellow wrestlers, the assumption among most who did not know Punk when he was working on the independent circuit and treading water in WWE's developmental system was that his teetotaler/drug-free claims were bogus," Martin says. "When he reached WWE television and his fame and word spread that his 'Straight Edge" gimmick was genuine, Punk was ridiculed and even ostracized by some wrestlers for choosing an alternative lifestyle to theirs."

Q6: Impact dipped slightly to a 0.98 rating for Austin Aries's and Bully Ray's latest confrontation, one commercial, and the first-half of Magnus & Samoa Joe & Styles vs. Angle & Kazarian & Daniels. (down 16.4% vs. 2011-Q6 average)

Updates On Ring Ka King And AWW

    - For Ring ka King, it all comes down to whether or not Endemol and the Colors Network want to order another season. The ratings were considered good but not great so it's all going to come down to what the partners want. There have been discussions for a second season, but nothing is a go at this time. There have also been discussions about doing similar seasons locally for other countries.

    - All Wheels Wrestling was passed on by The Speed Network and was handed off to Fuel TV as a potential project. However, once Fuel was pretty much rebranded as a UFC network as part of the FOX deal with UFC, the decision was made that they didn't want any pro wrestling on the cable network. So, the series is still being bounced around.

    Bischoff Responds To Steiner,

    - TNA executive Eric Bischoff has responded to Scott Steiner's repeated anti-Hogan/Bischoff/Prichard rants, addressing the comments via his Twitter. After "Big Poppa Pump" wrote Thursday afternoon on the social networking website, "At Shoney's to Go Grand Opening in Buford....awesome food", Eric Bischoff responded:

    Quote

@ScottSteiner 50+ year old man pitching greasy fried chicken in Buford and wrestling indys in front of 250 fans...bitter?
Bischoff feels it's ironic that Steiner complains about young talent not rising in TNA Wrestling while simultaneously ripping his 28-year-old wrestler son Garrett: "Its hard for some guys to move over and let the younger talent rise. Irony? One of Scotts bitches in his 20's and 30's."
Bischoff then retweeted comments on his timeline with an anti-Steiner stance, many of which accuse him of drug abuse.

Steiner Talks In Detail About Hogan, Bischoff And Prichard Feud

Steiner Talks In Detail About Hogan, Bischoff And Prichard Feud

Former TNA Wrestler Scott Steiner recently spoke with Slam Sports regarding his real life feud with Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Bruce Prichard. Below is a quick recap:

    On why he left TNA:
"These guys are just real pieces of s---, man. They just screw with everybody and I got sick of it. I just said f--- it. I'm not going to stand on the sinking ship like I did with WCW and watch all this bulls--- that they did before, I'm watching it again."

"Enough's enough. I was going nuts, man. They treat everybody like s---, disrespect everybody and I had to get out of there. Now I can have a voice for those guys who are still there and tell the truth about them and hopefully people will start realizing what's really going on there. They have buffaloed everybody. They're like con artists, and they're good at it, but the ratings do not lie. Wrestling's always been about ratings, so why aren't they important now?"

    On the declining ratings:
"Once you run these people off, it's going to take forever (to get them back). They don't understand that, but I've seen it. Once you piss these fans off, then it's too late. It's really close to that point. Look at the ratings for the last TV before (Lockdown). It was horrible. It was abysmal. Are you kidding me? What's going to cause panic in these people? ... These guys have a track record, man. They ran WCW into the ground. You don't think they're going to do the same to TNA?"

On TNA Officials creating a barrier, keeping talent away from Dixie Carter:
"They've created a barrier to Dixie. Nobody can talk to Dixie anymore. You have to go talk to Bruce Prichard. Nobody likes him. I can't find a handful that likes Bruce Prichard. He's always been like a gopher boy when I was up in the WWF. That's what he was. Nobody wants to go talk to him. So they've created the barrier so you can't talk to Dixie and tell her what you really think, you have to go through them. But nobody wants to talk to Bruce Prichard."

"She doesn't really know what's going on. So if you try to call Dixie, try to contact her, you get reprimanded, you get in trouble. They try to wall her off. I don't understand how she can turn her back on the guys who built the company up to the ratings that they were and these guys come in and bury the ratings, take TNA to an all-time low and she's listening to these guys? It's crazy. It's crazy. That's the only way I can put it. It's unbelievable. You can ask anybody who's been there. You haven't heard one denial of what I've been saying from those guys, because they can't deny it."

    On Garrett Bischoff:
"Bischoff comes in and tries to push his stupid-ass son who's only had 10 matches. I mean, come on man. The guy can't even throw a clothesline," Steiner said.
"It's not insulting just to me, it's insulting to everybody in that locker room. It's bulls--- because the guy cannot wrestle. He's had less than 10 matches, but the thing is, I've seen this before. It happened in WCW when he tried to push (Ric) Flair's son and he was just as bad. He had just as much experience and couldn't do anything. Where's David Flair at today? Nowhere. And it's going to be the same thing. It's ridiculous. How can you keep on repeating bad history? Dumb motherf------."

    On Hogan Burying talent:
"I think the one that pissed me off the most is when he attacked Kurt Angle, not only professionally, but he did it personally. The craziest thing is he said Kurt Angle has two left feet. I mean, come on. The guy's an Olympic champion, are you kidding me? Then he crossed the line and attacked Angle's family personally. I know his kids, they're great, they're beautiful kids. Of course, Karen (Jarrett) ripped him a new a--hole and all he could say was, 'Oh, I'm sorry, I got tongue-tied.' Tongue-tied? Are you crazy? That's the thing, Hogan is like a pull-string doll. You pull the string and if he isn't saying, "Take your vitamins and say your prayers,' or 'Brother, brother, brother' or 'Whatchu gonna do?' he sounds like a complete idiot."

"After Karen did that and ripped him, everyone thought Kurt was going to kick his ass. So I'm actually in the locker room. It's me, Sting and Kurt and Hogan comes in and his hands are shaking worse than a Parkinson's patient feeding birds at the park. He's standing by the door and he won't come in. Like he's going to run from Kurt. He must've asked Kurt like five times, 'Hey, are we cool?' Kurt's blowing him off because Kurt's so laid back. He doesn't really give a s--- what Hogan says. I asked him after and we all started laughing, like 'What a f------ c---.' He has the balls to say that on the radio and he's scared, his tail goes between his legs and he walks away. It was laughable. But that's Hogan."

Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen Tonight’s show starts off with comments from Eric Bischoff about how he has to mix his business and personal life because of Garett Bischoff. We are reminded about the stipulation at Lockdown. We see what happened at Lockdown. We go to footage from the farewell of Eric Bischoff, including the port-a-porty.
We are live on tape from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and your announcers are Mike ‘Wizarding World of Dixie Carter’ Tenay and Taz.

Ric Flair is in the ring and he tells Hulk Hogan that he always plays with him. Hogan thinks that Flair is his pawn and in the scheme of things, Flair will always be below him. Flair doesn’t buy that. He doesn’t have to buy that because he is Ric . . . G-O-D . . . Flair.

Last week, Garett Bischoff and Hogan ran off one of the biggest names and established commodities out of the business. He is talking about Eric Bischoff. Flair says that he wants to talk to Hogan because he is pissed off. Flair says that you don’t want to piss off a guy who is wearing a thousand dollar shirt, two thousand dollar shoes, a five hundred dollar alligator belt, and two Hall of Fame rings.

You don’t piss off the wrestling God. He calls out Hogan to see what he’s got.

Flair says that Hogan won’t show up, but we see that Flair is not good with telling the truth because Hulk Hogan’s music plays and Hogan makes his way to the ring.

Flair says that this is good versus evil. Flair says that Hogan is good, beyond the shadow of a doubt but Flair says that he is the baddest man on the planet. He is sick of having Hogan running roughshod on him. Flair wonders if he has to take Dixie Carter back to the Hard Rock again.

Hogan tells Flair, brother, what the deal is. Hogan says that he is not here to fight Flair. Flair says that Hogan is here to boss him around. Hogan says that as the general manager here, it is his priority to step the game up at Impact Wrestling. When Flair talks about bad and evil, he said the wrong name. Flair should have said Eric Bischoff. Eric spread a lot of bad around the company, brother.

Hogan tells Flair that he is taking this seriously, dude, and that he even hung his boots up when the offer came along. Hogan says that there is a chance to make Impact Wrestling have one of the longest runs of any wrestling company and they are here to make it that way. Hogan tells Flair that he does work for him. Since he is Flair’s boss, he will ask Flair to be a judge on Gut Check to try to find the brand new talent that will shape the future of this business.

Hogan says that with Ric Flair in the lead position for Gut Check, they can live forever. They can live through the new talent. They can tell the talent what to do.

Flair says that Hogan is setting him up again.

Hogan tells Flair to do this for the fans. Flair asks who is Hogan talking about.

Hogan wants Flair to help find the up and coming wrestlers.

Flair says that Hogan is telling him, but Hogan says that he is asking him. Flair says that Hogan will force him if he says no. Flair agrees to do it.

Alex says thirty seconds to sell him to Ric Flair and Al Snow. He stands up for himself every night. He came out of Canada with no money to make his dream. He did everything with his father so he could get this contract.

Flair changes his vote to a yes.

Bruce says that had they not given him that opportunity, he would have said no. It was based on Alex’s performance last week. He says that nerves got to him last week. Alex got a second shot and he says yes.
