    Bischoff Responds To Steiner,

    - TNA executive Eric Bischoff has responded to Scott Steiner's repeated anti-Hogan/Bischoff/Prichard rants, addressing the comments via his Twitter. After "Big Poppa Pump" wrote Thursday afternoon on the social networking website, "At Shoney's to Go Grand Opening in Buford....awesome food", Eric Bischoff responded:

    Quote

@ScottSteiner 50+ year old man pitching greasy fried chicken in Buford and wrestling indys in front of 250 fans...bitter?
Bischoff feels it's ironic that Steiner complains about young talent not rising in TNA Wrestling while simultaneously ripping his 28-year-old wrestler son Garrett: "Its hard for some guys to move over and let the younger talent rise. Irony? One of Scotts bitches in his 20's and 30's."
Bischoff then retweeted comments on his timeline with an anti-Steiner stance, many of which accuse him of drug abuse.

Steiner Talks In Detail About Hogan, Bischoff And Prichard Feud

Steiner Talks In Detail About Hogan, Bischoff And Prichard Feud

Former TNA Wrestler Scott Steiner recently spoke with Slam Sports regarding his real life feud with Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Bruce Prichard. Below is a quick recap:

    On why he left TNA:
"These guys are just real pieces of s---, man. They just screw with everybody and I got sick of it. I just said f--- it. I'm not going to stand on the sinking ship like I did with WCW and watch all this bulls--- that they did before, I'm watching it again."

"Enough's enough. I was going nuts, man. They treat everybody like s---, disrespect everybody and I had to get out of there. Now I can have a voice for those guys who are still there and tell the truth about them and hopefully people will start realizing what's really going on there. They have buffaloed everybody. They're like con artists, and they're good at it, but the ratings do not lie. Wrestling's always been about ratings, so why aren't they important now?"

    On the declining ratings:
"Once you run these people off, it's going to take forever (to get them back). They don't understand that, but I've seen it. Once you piss these fans off, then it's too late. It's really close to that point. Look at the ratings for the last TV before (Lockdown). It was horrible. It was abysmal. Are you kidding me? What's going to cause panic in these people? ... These guys have a track record, man. They ran WCW into the ground. You don't think they're going to do the same to TNA?"

On TNA Officials creating a barrier, keeping talent away from Dixie Carter:
"They've created a barrier to Dixie. Nobody can talk to Dixie anymore. You have to go talk to Bruce Prichard. Nobody likes him. I can't find a handful that likes Bruce Prichard. He's always been like a gopher boy when I was up in the WWF. That's what he was. Nobody wants to go talk to him. So they've created the barrier so you can't talk to Dixie and tell her what you really think, you have to go through them. But nobody wants to talk to Bruce Prichard."

"She doesn't really know what's going on. So if you try to call Dixie, try to contact her, you get reprimanded, you get in trouble. They try to wall her off. I don't understand how she can turn her back on the guys who built the company up to the ratings that they were and these guys come in and bury the ratings, take TNA to an all-time low and she's listening to these guys? It's crazy. It's crazy. That's the only way I can put it. It's unbelievable. You can ask anybody who's been there. You haven't heard one denial of what I've been saying from those guys, because they can't deny it."

    On Garrett Bischoff:
"Bischoff comes in and tries to push his stupid-ass son who's only had 10 matches. I mean, come on man. The guy can't even throw a clothesline," Steiner said.
"It's not insulting just to me, it's insulting to everybody in that locker room. It's bulls--- because the guy cannot wrestle. He's had less than 10 matches, but the thing is, I've seen this before. It happened in WCW when he tried to push (Ric) Flair's son and he was just as bad. He had just as much experience and couldn't do anything. Where's David Flair at today? Nowhere. And it's going to be the same thing. It's ridiculous. How can you keep on repeating bad history? Dumb motherf------."

    On Hogan Burying talent:
"I think the one that pissed me off the most is when he attacked Kurt Angle, not only professionally, but he did it personally. The craziest thing is he said Kurt Angle has two left feet. I mean, come on. The guy's an Olympic champion, are you kidding me? Then he crossed the line and attacked Angle's family personally. I know his kids, they're great, they're beautiful kids. Of course, Karen (Jarrett) ripped him a new a--hole and all he could say was, 'Oh, I'm sorry, I got tongue-tied.' Tongue-tied? Are you crazy? That's the thing, Hogan is like a pull-string doll. You pull the string and if he isn't saying, "Take your vitamins and say your prayers,' or 'Brother, brother, brother' or 'Whatchu gonna do?' he sounds like a complete idiot."

"After Karen did that and ripped him, everyone thought Kurt was going to kick his ass. So I'm actually in the locker room. It's me, Sting and Kurt and Hogan comes in and his hands are shaking worse than a Parkinson's patient feeding birds at the park. He's standing by the door and he won't come in. Like he's going to run from Kurt. He must've asked Kurt like five times, 'Hey, are we cool?' Kurt's blowing him off because Kurt's so laid back. He doesn't really give a s--- what Hogan says. I asked him after and we all started laughing, like 'What a f------ c---.' He has the balls to say that on the radio and he's scared, his tail goes between his legs and he walks away. It was laughable. But that's Hogan."

Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen Tonight’s show starts off with comments from Eric Bischoff about how he has to mix his business and personal life because of Garett Bischoff. We are reminded about the stipulation at Lockdown. We see what happened at Lockdown. We go to footage from the farewell of Eric Bischoff, including the port-a-porty.
We are live on tape from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and your announcers are Mike ‘Wizarding World of Dixie Carter’ Tenay and Taz.

Ric Flair is in the ring and he tells Hulk Hogan that he always plays with him. Hogan thinks that Flair is his pawn and in the scheme of things, Flair will always be below him. Flair doesn’t buy that. He doesn’t have to buy that because he is Ric . . . G-O-D . . . Flair.

Last week, Garett Bischoff and Hogan ran off one of the biggest names and established commodities out of the business. He is talking about Eric Bischoff. Flair says that he wants to talk to Hogan because he is pissed off. Flair says that you don’t want to piss off a guy who is wearing a thousand dollar shirt, two thousand dollar shoes, a five hundred dollar alligator belt, and two Hall of Fame rings.

You don’t piss off the wrestling God. He calls out Hogan to see what he’s got.

Flair says that Hogan won’t show up, but we see that Flair is not good with telling the truth because Hulk Hogan’s music plays and Hogan makes his way to the ring.

Flair says that this is good versus evil. Flair says that Hogan is good, beyond the shadow of a doubt but Flair says that he is the baddest man on the planet. He is sick of having Hogan running roughshod on him. Flair wonders if he has to take Dixie Carter back to the Hard Rock again.

Hogan tells Flair, brother, what the deal is. Hogan says that he is not here to fight Flair. Flair says that Hogan is here to boss him around. Hogan says that as the general manager here, it is his priority to step the game up at Impact Wrestling. When Flair talks about bad and evil, he said the wrong name. Flair should have said Eric Bischoff. Eric spread a lot of bad around the company, brother.

Hogan tells Flair that he is taking this seriously, dude, and that he even hung his boots up when the offer came along. Hogan says that there is a chance to make Impact Wrestling have one of the longest runs of any wrestling company and they are here to make it that way. Hogan tells Flair that he does work for him. Since he is Flair’s boss, he will ask Flair to be a judge on Gut Check to try to find the brand new talent that will shape the future of this business.

Hogan says that with Ric Flair in the lead position for Gut Check, they can live forever. They can live through the new talent. They can tell the talent what to do.

Flair says that Hogan is setting him up again.

Hogan tells Flair to do this for the fans. Flair asks who is Hogan talking about.

Hogan wants Flair to help find the up and coming wrestlers.

Flair says that Hogan is telling him, but Hogan says that he is asking him. Flair says that Hogan will force him if he says no. Flair agrees to do it.

He says that he doesn’t have to tell everyone how great of a wrestler he is, but he will. Rob says that he is Mr. Pay Per View and the man who will beat Bobby Roode to become the next TNA Heavyweight Champion. Rob says that he knows that he will beat Roode because he never lost the title in the first place.

Bobby Roode’s music plays and he makes his way up the ramp. Bobby tells Rob that he feels that Rob is a little overconfident. He says that he knows that Rob’s head is in the clouds most of the time and he has been on hiatus for a while so he wants to remind Rob who he is. Bobby says that he is the ‘It Factor’ of professional wrestling. He is the leader of the Selfish Generation. He is also Rob’s World Champion. He says that he is not any World Champion, he is the most dominant World Champion in the history of Impact Wrestling. He got there by beating guys like A.J. Styles, Jeff Hardy, Sting, and James Storm to name a few.

At Sacrifice, Rob Van Dam’s name will be added to that list. As for tonight, Hulk Hogan has issued a little plan for tonight. Rob gets to choose his opponent while he gets to choose Rob’s opponent.

    We go to commercial.

We are back with a look back at what happened to Eric Bischoff last week when he got to ride a port-a-potty.

Jeremy Borash says that he did what he did to Eric Bischoff last week was because they never got along during Xplosion. Bischoff took jabs at him on Facebook. It was about every single employee who has had to deal with that prick for the last two and a half years. It was not necessary. Jeremy says that he is going to step and say something about that.

Bully Ray comes into the room and he wants to hear everything Jeremy had to say about Eric Bischoff and how HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE took care of Eric. Ray tells Jeremy to come to the ring with him as he leads him by his mouth.

He says that he doesn’t care about lawyers or Jeremy Borash. He only cares about him and Ray. Ray called him out and Ray picked on the one and only thing he could. He called him out on Austin’s size. Aries says that he believes that Ray has taken craps bigger than him and eaten wings bigger than him.

Aries reminds Ray that he was known as Blubber Ray for most of his career. Aries says that Ray was the pasty poster boy for all you can eat buffets and Type 2 Diabetes.

Ray tells Aries that play time is over and if Aries wants to talk crap, he will have to stand up for himself and do something about it. Ray says that at the end of the day, Aries is the champion for insignificant little men. Ray says that he is not all talk, Aries is the one who is all talk. We are back and Bobby Roode says that he is not afraid to beat Ken Anderson again, but he wants to know why Hulk Hogan added the No Disqualification stipulation. We go to commercial.

We are back and the Gut Check Judges are in the ring. Al welcomes everyone and he says that we saw Alex Silva come out last week to have an audition match on Impact Wrestling. We will find out if Alex Silva achieves his dream and becomes a permanent member of the Impact Wrestling roster.

Al says that he has dealt with him in OVW. He knows that Alex has the passion and desire to be an addition on Impact.

Al says that the decision is up to all of us. He needs two of the three judges to get on the roster.

Flair thinks about it and Silva throws out a wooo. That is not enough to get Flair to give him a yes vote. Al says that his vote is a yes. Bruce is the deciding vote, but Al gives Alex thirty seconds to sell himself.

Alex addresses Bruce, Al, and Ric before looking up to the heavens to tell his dad that this is it. We are here after all of those years. After all of those years. He was thirteen years old and he was poor. He became poorer and poorer with one dream. Flair tells Alex to stop talking to the marks and to start again.

Alex says thirty seconds to sell him to Ric Flair and Al Snow. He stands up for himself every night. He came out of Canada with no money to make his dream. He did everything with his father so he could get this contract.

Flair changes his vote to a yes.

Bruce says that had they not given him that opportunity, he would have said no. It was based on Alex’s performance last week. He says that nerves got to him last week. Alex got a second shot and he says yes.

Match Number Five: Ken Anderson versus Bobby Roode in a Pick Your Poison No Disqualification Match

They start the match on the floor and Anderson sends Roode into the guardrails. More News on Rey Mysterio's WWE Suspension

More News on Rey Mysterio's WWE Suspension
Posted by Steve Carrier on 05/02/2012 at 08:19 PM

    - As noted before, Rey Mysterio tested positive for amphetamines back on February 13th but wasn't suspended until April 26th. He is currently serving a 60 days suspension. At the time Rey was told of his failure, he was told to submit all of the different medications that he was taking since he said he had no idea why he would have tested positive. WWE would have had their doctors evaluate the medications to see if there was a legitimate reason for the amphetamines.

The belief now is that a dietary supplement he was taking to lose weight could have contained a small amount of amphetamines.

Shortly after the drug test in February in San Diego, there was talk within WWE of frustration with him to the point it was said he would not be getting any kind of push upon returning. People were told in early March not to waste time coming up with angles or storylines for his return but no reasons were given. A very small number of people in the company would have known about the failure from February 13th until April 26th as doctors evaluated the case.

Mysterio, who is currently signed to a long-term contract with WWE, won't be eligible to return until June 25th. Since he was not working on the road, the two month suspension would likely cost him around $166,667 in salary.

    *Rumor* Hogan's Big Concept Revealed

    *Rumor* Hogan's Big Concept Revealed

According to ProWrestling.net, the word at the TNA Impact Wrestling tapings on Monday was that the big concept that Hulk Hogan was referring to in the New York Post interview calls for fans to film TNA wrestlers whenever they may encounter them. The fans will be encouraged to send the footage to the company for possible inclusion on TNA television.
The idea is that wrestlers are "on" 24/7. This idea isn't exactly popular within the locker room. As one person noted, Hogan is the last person who should encourage this given how his own home videos have come back to haunt him.
One source indicated today that the concept was set to be unveiled in a promo, but it ended up being removed. It remains to be seen whether they are saving it for another show, fine-tuning the idea, or if it's been dropped. Several people in the company hope it's the latter scenario.

Paul Heyman Won't Speak on Extreme Reunion

Paul Heyman Won't Speak on Extreme Reunion
Posted by Steve Carrier on 05/02/2012 at 09:05 AM

    - Paul Heyman wrote the following on Twitter about the disastrous Extreme Reunion event in Philadelphia this past weekend, promoted by Shane Douglas:

"I've had a ton of people ask me about #ExtremeReunion... and I haven't said a word about it. Not a word in advance. And certainly nothing to say about it now. I didn't comment on TNA's Hardcore Justice in advance, nor after the show, either. Nothing to say about that, either. I chose not to participate in either show, or any other attempt to re-live #ECW, so I don't feel it would be right 4 me to comment on it."

"If you're involved, speak your mind. If you take a pass on something, STFU. Just another voice bitching with the rest. #NotMyStyle I haven't done any conventions. No shoot tapes. No paid autograph signings. Nothing wrong with 'em. Just #NotMyStyle So ... I have kept my mouth shut about #ExtremeReunion. I wasn't there, so who am I to say anything?"

Heyman also commented on doing work for CM Punk's upcoming DVD set from WWE:

"I was interviewed for the Austin DVD. I'm honored 2b interviewed for the @CMpunk DVD as well"

Huge Hulk Hogan Interview: Says TNA will focus On Wrestling, WWE Stars Want In TNA

Huge Hulk Hogan Interview: Says TNA will focus On Wrestling, WWE Stars Want In TNA

TNA star Hulk Hogan spoke to the New York Post in a long, extensive interview. Below is a quick recap.

On increasing the TNA brand presence:
“The only way I could explain it to you is if I talked about John Cena, The WWE has taken about ten years to build up John Cena to that Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock-type level. TNA is the same way, we’ve only been around for 10 years. It’s a very young company and to even say that it is competitive and that the WWE has a little less of a presence, that’s a major statement.”

On differentiating TNA from the WWE:
“The WWE is doing billions of dollars as a company and focus on the entertainment aspect of things,” Hogan said. “They don’t want to call their talent wrestlers anymore, I get it, but we are focusing on the wrestling and really feeling the vibe. The media and entertainment business moves so fast, we’re almost going shelf to shelf.”

A “momentum-shifting moment” Hogan is planning:
“You can have a wrestling idea, but you need to have these momentum-shifting moves. We had the Hulkamania movement, then it shifted to the beer-drinking, Stone Cold era, we reinvented the business with [Hogan] growing the black beard and becoming the bad guy, what’s that next level. I have this huge monster idea that I am going to throw out there that I really think is going to change the business.”

“We are going to give more power to the fans, make them more involved and more important. I can’t say much more, but I can say this, I’m either going to be really right on this one or really wrong. If I’m wrong, you probably won’t see me again because I’ll be hightailing it out of here.”

Hogan looking past the current situation at TNA:
“If you wanted a quick fix, right now, you would put the belt on Jeff Hardy. That would fix a bunch of stuff right now, but that is not working backwards from where we need to be. Right now, to work to that point, the belt needs to stay with Bobby Roode. He’s a guy who we are bringing up and is a constant. As we build him up it’s like a volcano that ready to explode.”

On shifting from wrestling talent to a more backstage role:
“It took me a long time to come to grips with the fact that I can’t be in the ring that much anymore, to set aside that ego, it’s tough. But when I look back at the tape and see myself walking out there and wrestling, it isn’t how I want it to be so I had to realize that I shouldn’t be doing that anymore.”

On the partnership between TNA and Spike TV:
“[Spike TV] understands the business. They know what to expect and are well aware as to how the business works. They’re supportive and are believing in us more and more every day and as we keep rolling forward you’ll see more support. They’re team players and it will help both of us to be open and take that leap of faith.”

Hogan also off-hand mentions that John Morrison and Chris Masters have both expressed interest in joining TNA.

Star Nixed from Marine 3 Role

Star Nixed from Marine 3 Role

    - WWE was not planning on announcing The Miz starring in The Marine 3 for several weeks but when news broke online yesterday, they decided to come out with the press release. Before they decided on The Miz, CM Punk was the lead candidate to star in the movie. Vince McMahon nixed the idea because Punk is too valuable to be taken off the road.

As noted before, filming begins on June 11th in Vancouver. It will run for 20 days. They are still looking for an actor to star in the lead villain role.

Backstage Blow-up At Extreme Rules; Lesnar Flips

Backstage Blow-up At Extreme Rules; Lesnar Flips
Posted by Andy Steven on 05/01/2012 at 02:22 AM

There was a huge backstage blow-up involving Brock Lesnar following Sunday's WWE Extreme Rules PPV, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

Several sources stated that Lesnar lost it on a number of WWE officials and started to rip apart the dressing room. He was apparently upset over the John Cena promo that ended the pay-per-view.

Reports claim that the original plan was for Cena to be so beaten that he would have to be carried out of the building, despite winning the match. This would of left it open for Lesnar to brag that while he had lost the match by fluke, he won the war.

Lesnar perceived Cena as double crossing him when Cena decided to address the audience, causing Lesnar to then flip out on WWE officials. No word on how Lesnar calmed down, but the angle on Raw featuring Triple H's return was planned in advance as a way to remove Lesnar from WWE television.

Brock Lesnar's current deal with WWE only requires him to work two dates minimum, according to sources within the company.
