    30-Man Royal Rumble Match

Rey Mysterio, who won the 2006 Royal Rumble, drew #1 (he drew #2 in 2006). John Morrison drew #2. Carlito was in next at #3. MVP came in at #4. MVP was over with the crowd and they even had an "MVP" chant going. The Great Khali is in at #5.

Koslov came in at #6 and eliminated Khali. He then eliminated MVP. It looks like he's getting the Rumble push this year, where you eliminate a ton of people but don't actually win. Koslov then eliminated Carlito.

Triple H is next at #7. So much for the Rumble push as Triple H eliminated Koslov.

Randy Orton comes out at #8 to a ton of heat. If he doesn't get injured, it should be his year. JTG of Cryme Tyme was in next at #9. Ted Dibiase is #10. Jericho is #11. Mike Knox is #12. The Miz is in at #13. They're doing 90 second intervals this year so it's going by pretty fast, I've always preferred the 2 minute intervals. Randy Orton went on an RKO rampage, hitting the RKO on the Miz, Morrison and JTG before being his with a pedigree from Triple H.
HHH then eliminated The Miz and Morrison. Mysterio was thrown out, but he landed on the Miz and walked on Morrison and got back into the ring.

Finlay is in at #14. Cody Rhodes was #15 so all of Legacy is together in the Rumble.

The Undertaker is in at #16. He quickly eliminated JTG. Goldust is in at #17. He and brother Cody immediately started going at it. Orton hit Goldust with the RKO and then had Cody eliminate him.

CM Punk is #18. Mark Henry is #19. Shelton Benjamin is #20. William Regal is #21. Mark Henry was eliminated by Mysterio.

Kofi Kingston is in at #22. Kane is #23. He and The Undertaker gave Cody Rhodes a double chokeslam. There's a ton of people in the ring now. CM Punk eliminated Regal. R-Truth is #24.

Rob Van Dam is in at #25 as a surprise entrant to a huge pop. Brian Kendrick came in at #26. He eliminated Kofi Kingston. Triple H then eliminated Kendrick. Dolph Ziggler is in at #27 and was thrown out by Kane. Santino Marella is #28 and is eliminated immediately by Kane.

#29 is "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, who won the first televised Royal Rumble in 1988, when it was a 20 man Royal Rumble that aired for free as a special on the USA Network.

#30 is the Big Show. Hacksaw grabbed Big Show's strap and started wailing away on him, which reminded me of Hacksaw's feud with Andre the Giant back in the day. Show then eliminated Hacksaw. He pressed and eliminated R-Truth. Show tried eliminating CM Punk a couple of times before knocking Punk out on the apron and sending him to the floor.

Mysterio and Knox were eliminated when Mysterio charged at Knox. Mysterio was in there for 49 minutes. Kane eliminated Finlay. With the exception of Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase, it's all former world champions in there right now. Jericho eliminated RVD. Undertaker then eliminated Jericho.

Rhodes, Orton and Dibiase triple teamed Kane to eliminate him. Legacy then teamed up on The Undertaker. While Big Show and Taker were fighting on the apron, Orton hit an RKO on Show to eliminate him. Show then grabbed Taker from the outside to eliminate him.

It's now down to Legacy vs. Triple H. Triple H eliminated Dibiase and Rhodes, and Orton snuck behind Triple H to eliminate him and win the Royal Rumble.

    Winner: Randy Orton

After the match, Rhodes and Dibiase joined Orton in the middle of the ring and they all raised their hands.

    First celebrities announced for Wrestlemania

    First celebrities announced for Wrestlemania

    Source: PWInsider.com

During a recent appearance at the 36th Annual Global Media and Communications Conference, Linda McMahon announced that rock and roll icons AC/DC will be performing the theme to Wrestlemania XXV at the show in Houston, Texas.

There's no word yet on what song will be used as the theme.

Vince McMahon is said to be a huge fan of AC/DC, getting his first exposure to the band back in 2000 when they were performing on Saturday Night Live the night Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson hosted the show for the first time. WWE also used the song "Highway to Hell" even earlier for the 1998 Summerslam.

Many will remember back in November, we reported that McMahon and John Cena were seen "rocking out" at the AC/DC concert at Madison Square Garden.

In an exclusive pre-taped interview with Jim Ross, Jeff Hardy rejected any suggestion that his pyrotechnics “accident” (WATCH) was an accident at all, nor was his hit and run and his hotel stairwell attack. Hardy placed the blame squarely on the shoulders of his Royal Rumble opponent Edge, (match preview) before vowing that he will be at the pay-per-view to defend his championship against the Ultimate Opportunist.

Vladimir Kozlov & Big Show def. Triple H (Handicap Match) (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Just two days before their participation in the Royal Rumble Match (match preview), Vickie Guerrero placed Triple H in a match against the undefeated Vladimir Kozlov. However, she neglected to mention until long after the match was underway that the Moscow Mauler would have a tag team partner in Big Show, making it a Handicap Match. As The Game attempted to hit the Pedigree, Big Show smashed him in the back of the head, opening the door for Vladimir Kozlov to hurl The King of Kings to the canvas for the victory.

Edge def. Matt Hardy (No Disqualification Match) (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Although Edge denied involvement in Jeff Hardy’s pyrotechnics “accident,” - informing the WWE Universe he didn't need to do such things to beat him - Matt Hardy charged in to attack the Rated-R Superstar and chase him into the crowd. (PHOTOS) SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero then informed her husband that she was putting him into a No Disqualification Match with Hardy later on SmackDown. After a brutal match that employed everything from trash cans to kendo sticks, Matt’s own Rumble opponent - ECW Champion Jack Swagger (match preview) – and Royal Rumble Match participant Mark Henry interfered, attacking Hardy before the Ultimate Opportunist triumphed over him with the spear.

Undertaker def. United States Champion Shelton Benjamin (Non-Title) (PHOTOS)
Despite Benjamin’s never wavering spirit in a grueling match against The Phenom, Undertaker once again exhibited the darkness of defeat onto one of his 29 Royal Rumble opponents, locking the Gold Standard into the dreaded fury of Hell’s Gate. Although The Deadman’s submission hold continues to spread its menace across SmackDown, will it prove to be any help at all as Undertaker looks to win the Royal Rumble Match this Sunday? (match preview)

The Great Khali def. Chavo Guerrero (PHOTOS)
After refuting insinuations that he is nothing more than Vickie Guerrero’s “go-fer,” Chavo Guerrero failed to defend his family's name against The Great Khali, who reigned supreme over the self-proclaimed Mexican Warrior with the Punjabi Plunge.

Michelle McCool & Natalya def. Nikki and Brie Bella (DQ) (Divas Tag Team Match) (PHOTOS)
Over the past several weeks, Michelle McCool has laid siege on any Diva she has felt was “jealous” of her. But this week, while Michelle was teaming with Natalya against the Bella Twins - with new Divas Champion Maryse sitting ringside as a guest commentator (injury article) - Maria charged in to attack McCool, dishing out some payback on the former Divas Champion both inside and outside the ring. Only when Natalya got involved did Michelle take control, viciously slamming Maria into the barrier and leaving with a smile.

World Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison def. WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo (Non-Title Tag Team Match) (PHOTOS)
In a Champion vs. Champion Tag Team Match, after Primo was exiled from the ring, Carlito hit the Backstabber on the Shaman of Sexy. However, before he realized that Miz had been tagged into the match and was in fact the legal man, the self-proclaimed “Chick Magnet” rolled him up for the quick victory.

    Rey praat over zijn blessures

Rey Mysterio talks about his injuries

WWE RAW Superstar Rey Mysterio noted in a recent interview with the Baltimore Sun that he is not 100% physically.

“I feel like I need a tuneup (laughs). Before I had my biceps surgery, it was my knee. I would wake up limping every morning. Now, I wake up stiff from my right arm. If it’s not one thing it’s the other, but we’re still here pushing strong, man.”

Mysterio said also that he’s learned a lesson when it comes to high flying moves.

“There are guys that tell you, ‘You’ve got to take it easy, man. You can’t be doing all that crazy stuff. Pick out your high-flying moves; don’t do all of them at once.’ And back then I would go, ‘Yeah, sure, thank you.’ But then I’d turn around and say, ‘Hell no. I’m going to do everything I can. That’s the way I wrestle; that’s the way I do it.’

Well, now I’ve learned my lesson. After five knee surgeries and three biceps surgeries, I’m like, ‘Man, I should have listened to them.’ But when you’re hungry and you want to be successful and you were raised a certain way, it doesn’t matter who tells you to slow down. Sometimes you just have to learn the hard way, and that’s by getting injured.”

    TNA Impact on Spike TV
    Taped in Orlando, Fla.

[Q1] The show opened with a footage from last week of the Main Event Mafia and Team 3D… The opening montage aired… Mike Tenay and Don West introduced the show and questioned whether the Mafia would accept Team 3D’s challenges from last week…

    1. Alex Shelley defeated Chris Sabin and Sheik Abdul Bashir and Sonjay Dutt (w/SoCal Val) in a four-way for the X Division Title in 4:45. Tenay said there are rumors that Bashir and Dutt are working together. He questioned whether anyone could trust Bashir. Um, didn’t Sonjay steal his best friend’s fiance? Shane Sewell was the referee despite his repeated problems with Bashir.

The heels went to the floor and let the Machine Guns work against one another to start the match. The alliance between Sonjay and Sheik didn’t last long. During the match, Sharmell walked to the ringside and watched the match. In the end, Shelley caught Sonjay in a creative rollup and scored the pin. After the match, Sharmell told Sewell that Booker wants to see him in his dressing room…

A shot aired of Kurt Angle, Scott Steiner, and Sting walking backstage… [C]

[Q2] Backstage, Booker T had Sewell sit down on a couch with him while Jeremy Borash held the mic. Booker scolded Sewell for putting his hands on him last week. Booker asked him for a favor. He wanted a match to end up with him, Scott Steiner, and Petey Williams in the ring. Sewell left the room without saying a word…

Kurt Angle, Sting, and Scott Steiner walked to the ring for a promo. Angle addressed the Team 3D challenges by asking, “Who made you the bookers?” He said they could take their challenges and stick them up their “fat asses.” He said there was no way he would wrestle Brother Devon, and there was no way Sting would face Brother Ray.

Sting stepped up and said, “Excuse me, godfather.” Sting said no one would tell him who he can and can’t wrestle. They didn’t look pleased with one another. Sting whispered in Angle’s ear. Jim Cornette came out and said Team 3D doesn’t have the right to book matches, but he does.

Cornette announced Sting vs. Kurt Angle vs. Brother Ray vs. Brother Devon in a four-way for the TNA Title. Corny said the best way to win a four-way is divide and conquer. “We know that Team 3D can work together just fine,” he said. “The question is whether Sting and Kurt Angle can work together.” The Mafia didn’t look pleased… [C]

[Q3] A video recapped the homoerotic history between Scott Steiner and Petey Williams…

Tenay hyped the Petey and Eric Young vs. Booker and Steiner elimination rules match… Backstage, Lauren interviewed Petey Williams, who was still dressed like Scott Steiner, complete with the headgear….

Tenay interviewed Team 3D “via satellite from Japan.” They showed off the IWGP Tag Titles. They said winning the titles in the Tokyo Dome is like winning any title in Madison Square Garden. West broke the news about the four-way title match. Ray cut a promo about Sting standing by while the other Mafia members attacked him. The audio cut out. Tenay said they lost the audio feed from Japan… [C]

Backstage, Borash interviewed Sting, Steiner, and Booker. He asked Sting what happened between him and Angle. Sting accused Borash of trying to stir things up. He said they’re on the same page. “We haven’t forgotten what this is all about, it’s about respect,” Sting said…

Another Sojourner Bolt “Rough Cut” segment aired. Terry Taylor and Jeremy Borash recalled Bolt challenging Awesome Kong when during the fan challenge segments. They said she clearly earned Kong’s respect…

[Q4] 2. ODB defeated Sojourner Bolt by DQ in 2:30. Even though Bolt said just last week that her mother is the only one allowed to call her “Sojo,” the big screen entrance video listed her name as Sojo. Tenay announced ODB vs. Kong for the TNA Knockouts Title for the pay-per-view. Sojo jumped ODB to start the match. ODB eventually came back, but Kong ran in and kicked her for the DQ. Taylor Wilde and Roxxi ran out carrying weapons and cleared the heels from the ring…

Backstage, Lauren interviewed “The Governor.” She bragged about making fools of the Beautiful People until they ran onto the set and attacked her. Lauren asked what they were doing as if she was surprised that they didn’t see the humor in what “The Governor” did. Security entered the picture to help, but Cute Kip showed up and beat them up. He finally called off Angelina Love and Velvet Sky… [C]

    3. Scott Steiner and Booker T (w/Sharmell) defeated Petey Williams and Eric Young in a tag team elimination rules match in 12:00. Sewell was the referee because he only refs matches with guys he has friction with. The heels worked over Young and eliminated him from the match roughly three minutes in.

[Q5] [C] Petey worked over Steiner with flashy offense. Steiner didn’t really leave his feet, though, as he just sold it by crouching down. Finally, Petey hit a tornado DDT that Steiner took a bump for. Petey went for the Canadian Destroyer, but Booker ran in and broke it up. Steiner hit a fallaway slam off the top rope and went for a cover. The ref counted to two and Steiner pulled up Petey.

Steiner tagged in Booker, who also refused to pin Booker. Shane Sewell spazzed out over the heels refusing to pin Petey. Booker hit an ax kick and scored the pin. After the match, Booker made Sewell snap. Steiner and Booker teamed up and beat down Sewell. Earl Hebner kneeled on the ring apron and asked them to stop. Pussy… [C]

A video package recapped the friction from Matt Morgan and Abyss from last week…

[Q6] Morgan and Abyss came to the ring separately for an interview conducted by Lauren. Morgan said he’s had a temper problem his entire life. He said it cost him NFL and NBA contracts, and incentives in his pro wrestling contracts. The worst part, he said, was that it cost him his friendship with Abyss.

Morgan and Abyss hugged. “It’s okay, Matt, I accept your apology.” He said he also has a temper problem and that’s why he goes to therapy. Abyss invited Morgan to join him in therapy. Abyss said he has his entire family back. “I have my best friend Matt back, I have my girlfriend standing next to me, Lauren,” he said. He picked her up and spun her around. He apologized to Lauren and then hugged Morgan again… [C]

    4. Beer Money (w/Jacqueline) vs. Abyss and Matt Morgan in a non-title first blood match. Tenay said there were referees at ringside with towels in their hands in case there is blood. As if the concept of having referees standing by with towels isn’t stupid enough, I cracked up at Tenay saying “in case there is blood.” Of course there’s going to be blood. It’s an f’n first blood match!

The wrestlers brawled in and around the ring. Late in the match, Morgan had a chair and backed the two heels into opposite corners. He teased swinging at both of them and then struck Abyss with the chair. The referee dabbed his towel on Abyss’s head and called for the bell when he noticed blood on the towel.

[Q7] “Matt Morgan and Abyss are history,” Tenay said. Morgan punched Abyss repeatedly. Security tried to run in, but Morgan roughed them up. “You did this, Abyss,” Morgan said to his abused ex-bitch…

The announcers recapped the Morgan and Abyss segment… Backstage, security helped Abyss until he snapped and told them to get away. He threw a fit and then shoved the camera man…

A video recapped the history of Kurt Angle and A.J. Styles… Backstage, Borash interviewed Angle, who said he could have ended A.J.’s career several times, but he felt sorry for him. He said Styles took away his wife and family. “Tonight, I take away your livelihood,” Angle said. “Tonight, I take away your career like I took away Jeff Jarrett’s two weeks ago”… [C] Ring introductions for the main event took place…

[Q8] 5. Kurt Angle defeated A.J. Styles in a tables match in 12:15. The announcers noted that Foley, Jarrett, Rhino, Team 3D, and other Frontline members were injured or out of the country. Fast paced spot early with A.J. dropkicking Angle to pop the crowd. Kurt took his time getting back inside the ring. After another minute of action, they cut to break. [C]

Angle brought a table into the ring and cut his hand in the process. They fought around the table, which was turned on its side. Styles picked up Angle and crotched him on the side of the table. The announcers heralded this as an innovative move by Styles. At 11:20, A.J. hit the Pele kick and placed Kurt on the table.

Styles went up top, but Angle recovered and met him up top. A.J. fought him off and Angle landed with a portion of his body draped over the table. Styles leapt off the ropes, but Angle missed. A short time later, Kurt hit the Angle Slam through the table to win the match.

Afterward, Angle continued to attack Styles. He placed wrapped A.J.’s ankle in a chair and then stomped on the chair. Angle applied the ankle lock. He released the hold and the announcers pleaded with him on commentary to stop. Angle headed down to the announcers’ table at ringside. Hurt them! Angle grabbed the house mic and said this was the beginning of the end for TNA. He said they were going to take out everyone one by one next week. “We’re going to mark our territory Main Event Mafia style.” He stood on the desk and yelled, “Look, Mom, I’m on top of the world”…

The car pulled up near the steps to the arena where the fans hang out and the driver rolled down the window to reveal himself as Hulk Hogan. Hogan told the fans to "find someone in there for him to wrestle" and that he would be back. Hogan drove off and never came back.

    DOLPH ZIGGLER

    Nick Nemeth

    An image of Nick Nemeth.
    Nicholas Theodore "Nick" Nemeth
(born July 27, 1980) is an American professional wrestler, currently working for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) under the name Dolph Ziggler on the Raw brand. He is best known for his performances as Spirit Squad member Nicky from 2006.

Nemeth signed a development contract with WWE in 2004, and was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). He was brought up to the Raw brand in 2005 as Kerwin White's sidekick. He was, however, sent back to OVW shortly afterwards, where he joined the Spirit Squad. They debuted on Raw in January 2006, and won the World Tag Team Championship before returning to OVW that November. In September 2007, Nemeth was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling, where he formed a tag team with Brad Allen. He returned to Raw as Ziggler in September 2008.

Nemeth is a former World Tag Team Champion as a member of the Spirit Squad, and has also held the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship twice; once with Brad Allen, and once with Gavin Spears.

    Career

    Amateur wrestling

Nemeth wrestled for the Roman Catholic St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio where he holds the school record for most pins in a career with 82. When he attended Kent State University he joined their wrestling team, eventually setting the record for most career wins in the school's history.

    Professional wrestling

    Beginning

Nemeth signed a developmental deal with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2004 and was assigned to their farm territory Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), debuting as Nick Nemeth.

After working for nearly a year in OVW, Nemeth was called up to the main WWE Raw roster, making his TV debut on the September 25, 2005 episode of Sunday Night Heat. He was made the enforcer and sidekick for Chavo Guerrero, Jr., who was using a golfer gimmick and going by the ring name of "Kerwin White". As such, Nemeth became White's caddy.

His wrestling debut came on an episode of Sunday Night Heat, teaming up with White in a tag team match against Shelton Benjamin and Matt Striker. After the death of Eddie Guerrero, Guerrero dropped the "Kerwin White" character, and Nemeth no longer played the role of his caddy and tag partner. After a few months of wrestling in dark matches and at house shows, he was sent back to OVW.

    The Spirit Squad

In OVW, he became a part of The Spirit Squad (under the name Nicky), who were eventually called up to Raw. On January 23, 2006, they had their television debut, appearing on Raw and helping Jonathan Coachman win a Royal Rumble qualifying match against Jerry "The King" Lawler by performing cheers for the Coach and distracting Lawler. They later became a part of the on-going feud between WWE chairman Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels. The heel McMahon brought in the Squad to attack Michaels on numerous occasions, including placing them in multiple handicap matches.

They also wrestled in the tag team division, and on April 3, on Raw, won the World Tag Team Championship when Kenny and Mikey, with outside help from the other three Squad members, defeated Kane and The Big Show. After winning the titles The Spirit Squad defended the titles under the Freebird Rule.

Three weeks later, McMahon signed another Handicap match, with the Spirit Squad facing Michaels. The match never started, however; instead the Spirit Squad brutally beat down Michaels, ripping apart his ring attire and kayfabe shattering his knee with a steel chair. McMahon then called Triple H to the ring to attack Michaels with a sledgehammer shot; however, Kenny snatched the sledgehammer away, disrespecting Triple H, which led to him attacking the group. This led to Triple H and Michaels reforming D-Generation X (DX) and they began a feud with the Spirit Squad. DX played various sophomoric jokes on the Squad and the McMahons, as well as defeating the Spirit Squad in handicap tag matches at Vengeance and a clean sweep in an elimination handicap match at Saturday Night's Main Event.

At the same time as their feud with DX and their alignment with McMahon, the team also wrestled other teams in Raw's tag division over their World Tag Team Title. The Squad successfully defended the titles against the teams of Jim Duggan and Eugene,Charlie Haas and Viscera, and Snitsky and Val Venis,They then entered a lengthy feud with The Highlanders, whom they eventually defeated to retain the titles at Unforgiven

The Squad as a whole later began a losing streak with separate members losing singles matches to Ric Flair on consecutive episodes of Raw.After a loss to the debuting Cryme Tyme on October 16, Kenny started yelling at the other members of the Squad in the ring. Tensions further escalated the next week, after a second consecutive loss to Cryme Tyme. After the defeat Kenny attacked Mikey then announced that he would take on Flair, and win, since no other member of the group was able to do it. Later in the night he succeeded with help from the rest of the Squad, despite Flair bringing a number of fellow "Legends" (Dusty Rhodes, Sgt. Slaughter, and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper) to the ring with him to even the odds. It was then decided that Flair and one of the legends would wrestle the Squad at Cyber Sunday for the Tag Team Championship. The fans chose Piper, and he and Flair defeated Kenny and Mikey to win the title. At the time of their loss the team had held the title for 216 days, the longest since Owen Hart and The British Bulldog held it for 241 days in 1996 and 1997.

The group was "killed off" on the November 27 Raw after they were defeated in a 5 on 3 match by DX and Flair. After a triple submission, and being buried in a backstage segment, DX dumped them into a large crate stamped "OVW, Louisville, Kentucky".

    Return to developmental

Nemeth appeared on the January 17, 2007, OVW taping along with Mike Mondo as the "Frat Pack" and teamed with Mike Kruel in a match against Seth Skyfire, Shawn Spears, and Cody Runnels. The team disbanded in the early parts of 2007, before teaming up again in August.

In September, Nemeth and Mike Mondo were moved to the Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) developmental territory and in his debut there defeated Hade Vansen. At the beginning of the year 2008, he tweaked his name to Nic Nemeth and began teaming with Brad Allen and Taryn Terrell as their valet. Nemeth and Allen started a frat boy type gimmick with Terrell as a "sorority chick". On March 22, Nemeth and Allen won the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship by defeating defending champions Eddie Colón and Eric Perez. On May 12, 2008, he wrestled under the name Nick Metro and lost in a dark match to Ron Killings. Soon after, however, he returned to the name "Nic Nemeth". He then added the nickname "The Natural" in front of his ring name while also changing his look.

    Dolph Ziggler

On September 15, 2008, Nemeth re-debuted on Raw as a heel, introducing himself in a backstage segment, with a new image, under the name Dolph Ziggler. On October 10, 2008, Nemeth was suspended for 30 days for his first violation of WWE's Wellness Program policy. He returned to Raw on November 17 in a backstage segment with Rey Mysterio and Shawn Michaels. In his first match on Raw under the Ziggler name, he lost to Batista, getting a deal of offense in the form of high impact spots, on the December 1 episode. The next week he got his first victory as Dolph Ziggler, by countout, against R-Truth. The following week on Raw, he picked up his first televised pinfall victory as Ziggler, when he beat Charlie Haas (As 'Santa Claas').

    Personal life

Nemeth is fluent in American Sign Language, and has two dogs, Sadie, an English Cocker Spaniel, and Jack the Dog, a Shih Tzu.

Update on Steve Austin's next film project

Update on Steve Austin's next film project

Late last year, Stone Cold Steve Austin finished work on "Damages," a feature film about the secret world of underground fighting. Shot in Vancouver, Brtish Columbia, "Damages" is set to hit theaters in 2010. This week Austin left his ranch in Victoria, Texas and has returned to Los Angeles to begin work on yet another film project.

Maria en Punk delen steken uit aan elkaar via radio

CM Punk and Maria take shots at each other

CM Punk and Maria, who used to be involved in a relationship, apparently launched some subtle digs towards each other during recent radio interviews.

Maria was recently asked about her past relationship with Punk. She said the two broke up because of the wrestling business and that she is now dating someone outside of it. On the kind of man Maria's looking for, she said, "Looking for someone who's going to treat me like a lady and not like one of the boys."

In a separate recent interview when discussing Playboy Playmates, Punk said, "Playboy playmates are so overrated. I also like women with brains."
