Ric Flair Doesn't Mention TNA At WWE Hall of Fame

The Four Horsemen are up next as Dusty Rhodes makes his way out to do the induction. Dusty talks about how unique the Horsemen were and calls Ric Flair a national treasure. Dusty talks about Flair with a lot of passion.

Dusty goes on to talk about his famous feuds with the Horsemen and calls Arn Anderson the Horsemen's heartbeat. Dusty puts over the others before introducing The Four Horsemen to a nice ovation.

A big "Thank You Horsemen" chant breaks out and it's amazing. Flair gets chants to come back and he says "I want to..." Flair gets emotional as he talks about his career and what the Horsemen were. Flair got whooo's but no TNA chants or mentions. Barry Windham looked great despite his recent health problems.

Tully Blanchard is stylin' but talks about his father who passed away recently. It changes the look on the others faces. Arn Anderson is up next and our correspondent reports that he gets the biggest pop of anyone so far out of all the inductions. Arn also gives one of the bet speeches so far of the night and puts over JJ Dillon, Bobby Heenan and Paul Ellering as managers.

Arn also puts over CM Punk. The rumors of Arn being a big CM Punk fan are true. He gives high marks to Randy Orton, Big Show, Rey Mysterio and John Cena. Cena's name looks to get boo'd but Arn calls Cena the best human being that he knows and the crowd approves.

Former TNA Star Discusses The Real Reason CM Punk Was Done With TNA

Another excerpt from Barbaric Wrestling's 'The Genesis of TNA', by Brett Buchanan:

CHAPTER 9: SEX, DRUGS & MONEY
Written By Brett Buchanan of BarbaricWrestling.com

    Petey Williams:

    Quote

[In Spring 2004] myself, Chris Sabin, Johnny Devine, Sabu, and Jack Evans were the only people who witnessed the fight [between CM Punk and Teddy Hart] with our eyeballs. What happened was we used to eat at this place called the White Trash Cafй, just a name, that’s where we used to have our catering at; it was right across the street from where we filmed. I didn’t know that they had beef with each other at all; I wasn’t hip to what was going on on the internet. Apparently they bad mouthed each other on the internet; I don’t know the whole story behind the back story. We’re eating and I saw Teddy and Jack walk in there and then me Sabin and Johnny Devine were walking away and they were like hey Punk is in the restaurant and Teddy just walked in, want to see what happens? I’m like what’s going on guys? They said you know [Punk and Hart] don’t like each other. We turned around and pretty much like Teddy and CM Punk walked out and it was kind of like, one of them says you’ve got a problem, he’s like you’ve got a problem? There was like one shove, I can’t remember who shoved whose shirt first. Then it was just a couple of quick punches, Teddy got the upper hand I think like Punk kind of tripped and Teddy kind of tripped him over or something so he was on his ass. Teddy was like punching him, and then Sabu jumped in, this all happened within 20 seconds. Sabu jumped in and kind of tore them apart and as Sabu is trying to tear them apart Teddy still has Punk’s hair and is trying to kick him in the face. Then they kind of both went their separate ways, and the office found out about it and that was the last time I ever saw Punk in TNA. Then after Teddy did his stint with Team Canada that lasted another week, he never came back. You can’t fight, there’s consequences right.

*Rumor* TNA to be mentioned at Flair's WWE Hall of Fame appereance?

*Rumor* TNA to be mentioned at Flair's WWE Hall of Fame appereance?

According to sources, one thing TNA wanted when negotiating with WWE for Ric Flair’s Hall of Fame participation was that they wanted it to be said in some way during the show that Flair worked for TNA or was there due to TNA.

We’re not sure if WWE agreed to that particular stipulation but it was one of the key things that was being discussed over the past few weeks.

Kurt Angle's Family - The Victims Of Wire Fraud

Kurt Angle's Family - The Victims Of Wire Fraud

TMZ is reporting that TNA Wrestler and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle is on the hunt to find fraudsters who attempted to swindle money from his 80-year-old mother. The report states, Angle's mother recently received a call from someone in the Dominican Republic who claimed her grandson was in a local jail and needed $4,000. Angle's mom then recieved another call the following day demanding an additional $4,000.

Kurt's mother couldn't afford to send the additional $4,000 so she contacted Kurt. Immediately Kurt became suspicious and began his search for the family member in question. the family member was fine and had not visited the Dominican Republic in over a year. That's when Kurt contacted local authorities.

Kurt believes the crooks may have someone working with them in the United States, possibly locally in Pittsburgh because they knew close family details and were able to find his mother's unlisted phone number. Angle is quoted as saying:

"I'm gonna find the son of a bitch who did this to my mom," Angle tells us ... adding, "I don't want this happening to anyone else!"
