WWE.com reports Wade Barrett suffered a partial dislocation of his left elbow during the 10-Man Battle Royal on Raw. He will undergo an MRI for further evaluation this week and will be sidelined for at least 6 to 8 weeks.
The injury occurred following Barrett and R-Truth's elimination from the match. As Truth and Barrett recovered from their eliminations on the outside, Big Show tossed Dolph Ziggler on top of them from the ring. They were knocked backwards and Barrett landed awkwardly on his arm.
- While reports have been that Wade Barrett will miss some ring time but will not miss WrestleMania 28 with the injury suffered at RAW last night, WWE agent "Road Dogg" BG James indicated on Twitter that Barrett may indeed miss the big show on April 1st. We're still waiting on confirmation from WWE
- PWTorch reports that Wade Barrett was released from the Hennepin County Medical Center after last night's RAW Supershow. Barrett was diagnosed with a partially dislocated elbow and doctors put the elbow back into the socket. Barrett was given morphine and released. Barrett returned to his hotel in Minneapolis with his arm in a sling.
Barrett likely won't need surgery or a cast on the arm. He will be missing some in-ring time but probably will not miss WrestleMania 28.
Anonymous WWE Star Rants on The Rock Posted by Steve Carrier on 02/21/2012 at 01:14 AM
With The Rock making his much anticipated return to Raw next Monday, John Cena had harsh words for "The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment," saying he's no longer The People's Champion, but he's a champion with people (referring to the entourage around him). After strongly criticizing The Rock for returning, but not sticking around WWE, Cena vowed to beat the iconic grappler in his hometown of Miami, Florida at WrestleMania XXVIII.
A number of WWE performers appeared giddy backstage over Cena's remarks as they legitimately feel that way over Johnson. One talent commented via text to PWInsider.com (with permission to be quoted under condition of of anonymity: "[The Rock] comes in to use WWE to get back the audience he lost doing Disney movies, which is fine but he's been back over a year and name one person he helped make a bigger star since then? No one.
"He's here for himself, he keeps to himself, and he keeps someone who's actually touring here all year from making a bigger payday at the bigger shows. It's all about making this the "biggest" Mania of all time. OK, then what do we do the rest of the year? Who's been made? You think he took ANY blame for Survivor [Series] not drawing? Of course not, but how do you feud with a guy on the Titantron? Cena nailed the guy dead on tonight.
"Say anything about Triple H, 'Taker, etc. still being in the top spot but if they were needed to work the road, they would and they would still work their asses off as much as they needed to. Rock is out for Rock and the idea he's here to better anything but his own wallet is the biggest work of 2012."

MILWAUKEE The HUGE announcement teased on twitter by JohnLaurinaitis on Saturday afternoon became abundantly clear on Sunday night at the Elimination Chamber event. Three former world champions representing both Raw and SmackDown Alberto Del Rio, Mark Henry and Christian made shocking appearances to voice their support for the beleaguered Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim General Manager of Monday Night Raw. (PHOTOS)
Following the WWEs Board of Directors advocacy of Mr. Laurinaitis performance, David Otunga mentioned on Raw that he had a plan to make his superior not only the permanent General Manager of Raw, but SmackDown, too. Mr. Excitement approached the ring in Milwaukee along with his official legal counsel, and immediately took aim at the longstanding General Manager of SmackDown, Teddy Long. He noted it is his duty to suggest to The Board that Teddy Long should be subject to scrutiny.
Mr. Laurinaitis was quickly interrupted by Alberto Del Rio, entering in a 1985 Excalibur convertible worth more than $100,000. The Mexican Aristocrat had not been seen by the WWE Universe in nearly two months, and detailed in his native Spanish why Teddy Long should be ousted from his role.
Mark Henry, recently suspended indefinitely by the SmackDown General Manager, was next to enter the Bradley Center and The Worlds Strongest Man echoed Del Rios sentiments. The proprietor of the Hall of Pain accused Long of being a bully, and indicated Laurinaitis has never behaved as such.
Completing Laurinaitis and Otungas trilogy was Christian, who has not competed in more than three months, and is still searching for one more match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Captain Charisma shared the sensibilities of his colleagues, and shook hands with Mr. Laurinaitis.
The entire ordeal was clearly a strategic arrangement by Otunga on behalf of his boss in order to put the wheels in motion to remove Interim from Mr. Laurinaitis title, and to have him run things on Friday nights as well. The official legal counsel then took a moment to put down his travel coffee mug, and pull out his iPhone to snap a few photos of himself, Mr. Laurinaitis, and their new cohorts. Otunga tweeted each photo (No. 1, No. 2) moments later.
Will David Otungas plan play out the way he and John Laurinaitis hopes? To find out, tune in to Raw SuperShow Monday night at 9/8 CT on USA Network.

- Former WWE Diva Maria is not happy with WWE over the current storyline that has Natalya farting all the time.
Maria appeared on the Running The Ropes show this week and talked about it:
"I think that it's a complete disrespect to a girl with talent to give her a gimmick that's a farting gimmick. How disrespectful can you be? She's a Neidhart, come on! She's incredible in the ring. It's disrespectful to her, disrespectful to her family, and I cannot even believe that they went there. I think it really says something to how WWE feels about their Women's Division."
