We start off with a video package looking back at last week when James Storm defeated Kurt Angle to win the World Title, as well as backstage comments talking about how hard he’s worked to become champion and how it’s like a dream, and if anyone pinches him to wake him up, he’s going to knock that guy out. We then go out to the ring as the new champion addresses the crowd, telling them about how he watched Wrestlemania 3 with his late dad and he decided that he wanted to be World Champion one day, and he silenced all the people who said he wasn’t good enough because now, he’s the champion. He couldn’t have done it without the fans, so he wants to thank them for helping make his dream come true, but he also wants to bring Fortune out to the ring to thank them as well. He specifically wants to tell Roode that he got screwed out of the opportunity he worked his whole life for, so he got drunk and decided to give Roode the first shot at the title.

Roode accepts of course, but Samoa Joe comes out to say he used to be part of this group that fought the power that held them down, but for all their self righteousness they preach, he sees the same four scumbags that he did a long time ago, and he sees another Immortal group trying to keep it all in the family, which shouldn’t be too hard for that hillbilly James Storm. Joe’s words, not mine. Instead of giving all his friends title shots, he’s going to prove to everyone that it’s a new day and give Joe a title shot. Storm says Joe had his opportunity and the window closed, and maybe he should give his friends title shots first since Joe’s lost to everyone for months now. Sting’s music hits, and the new Authority Figure comes out to settle the dispute. He says they both have really strong cases, so tonight, it’ll be Joe against Roode with the winner getting a title shot next week in Macon, Georgia.

Tonight: Jeff Hardy has his first match since March as he faces Bully Ray, and Gail Kim makes her own return against Tara.

We go backstage to Christopher Daniels, who claims that AJ Styles fed doctored audio through the speakers to make everyone think he quit at Bound For Glory, and he’ll show how good he is next when he faces “Bob” Van Dam.

Let’s go to the ring for our opening match…

Christopher Daniels vs Rob Van Dam

Chain wrestling sequence to start and Vam Dam gets a bodyscissors rollup for 2. Another back and forth sequence leads to Daniels rolling RVD up for 2 as AJ Styles comes out to join Mike and Taz at the announce booth. RVD boots Daniels in the face and hits a standing moonsault for 2, Daniels drop toeholds RVD into the bottom turnbuckle and puts the boots to him, but eats RVD’s boots on a charge into the corner. He hits a uranage and goes for the BME, but Van Dam moves and hits the stepover leg lariat. RVD with the rolling monkey flip out of the corner and a springboard thrust kick, but Daniels rolls out of the ring to escape Rolling Thunder. RVD doesn’t miss a beat and hits a dive over the top rope, rolls Daniels back into the ring, and Daniels rolls to the floor to dodge the five star frogsplash. RVD goes out to the floor and drapes Daniels on the guardrail and hits the leg lariat off the apron. Daniels goes under the ring and grabs a toolbox, ramming it into RVD’s ribs to get himself disqualified.

Winner: Rob Van Dam by DQ

Daniels grabs a screwdriver out of the toolbox andstalks RVD with it, but AJ drops his headset and comes tearing down to the ring to chase Daniels into the crowd.

Karen Jarrett, Gail Kim, and Madison Rayne are backstage, and they’re…WALKING!

Karen Jarrett comes out with her entire entourage in tow. Anyone care to explain to me how she’s still in power since Immortal lost control of TNA? Gail Kim says everyone can stop with the emails asking her why she did what she did last week, because it’s nobody’s business. But she’s happy to tell us anyway: people have been telling her what to do for her entire career, from TNA to ANOTHER COMPANY and back, but finally Karen made her realize it’s not about the company she works for or the fans who never put a dime in her pocket, it’s all about her being the center of attention and being the one who’s noticed, but most of all, it’s about her being treated like the main eventer she is. Karen says that since Gail’s been suc ha good sport, she’s going to get her title match with Velvet at Turning Point, and the sooner they get the belt off that prostitute Velvet Sky and around the waist of Gail, the better off everyone will be. Gail says she won’t let Karen or herself down, and she wants a piece of fresh meat to come out so she can prove her greatness.

    Gail Kim vs Tara

Yep, that Tara is green as grass. Gail attacks Tara on her way into the ring and starts viciously ramming Tara’s face into the mat and then repeatedly drills her in the head with right hands. Tara tries to fight back, but Gail just rips her head off with a hard clothesline. Gail hauls Tara up by the face and yells at her that she’s pathetic before dumping her out to the floor. Karen shoves Traci around and yells at her at ringside as Gail hauls Tara back into the ring and stomps her in the face as we go to commercial.

We’re back, and Gail Kim is choking Tara with her boot in the corner. Gail misses a charge into the corner, but catches Tara with a back elbow and locks her in the modified Royal Octopus. Tara hiptosses out of the hold and finally begins firing back on Gail, taking her out with a series of clotheslines and a rolling neckbreaker for 2. Gail drop toeholds Tara onto the bottom rope and chokes her with herboot again, then hauls Tara back to her feet and htis Sole Food for the win.

    Winner: Gail Kim

This was the best Knockouts match I’ve seen on Impact in forever, and Gail looked like a million bucks and showed in one appearance what WWE was missing out on for years.

Jeff Hardy’s backstage saying he’s back in the ring tonight against Bully Ray, and they go way back, but it’s been a long time since he’s faced him or anyone else and this will be a real test for him tonight.

Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair are backstage tonight, and they blow off Robbie E blabbering about his TV Title match because Flair is busy telling Bischoff to kick the crap out of his kid. There’s some quality family sentiment there.

TV Title Match: Eric Young vs Robbie E

Okay, this is pretty funny: Rob Terry is Robbie E’s bouncer and stands in front of a velvet rope holding waving at the fans to stay back while Robbie fist pumps. Well, I guess they have to justify paying him somehow. Young comes out looking homeless and ties up with the referee and backs him to the corner before the match, and then starts unloading on Robbie when the bell rings. He hits Robbie with a flying forearm, then does the Flair Flip to the apron, comes flying over the top with a clothesline, and htis a really nice belly to belly. He gets distracted by Rob Terry and Robbie backdrops him, but Young gets his foot up as Robbie charges him in the corner and gets a crucifix for the win.

    Winner: Eric Young

Rob Terry blindsides Young after the match and holds him so Robbie can ram his fist into his gut. Young goes down in a heap, but Terry pulls him back up and now Robbie rams his knee into Young’s midsection. He tells Terry to pull him up again and Young just piefaces Young and sends him down in a heap. They head to the back, and Young grabs a microphone and is aghast that Robbie punched him in the stomach. He’s never been accused of being the smartest guy, but Rob Terry got involved and now, he’s got to bring in the Hollywood heavies, so when they get to Georgia, he’s bringing Ronnie from the Jersey Shore. Okay.

Eric Bischoff is backstage, and he’s…WALKING!

Christopher Daniels is backstage trying to negotiate his contract with his agent, and Frankie Kazarian comes in and says this stuff with AJ has to stop. He wants Daniels to call him and talk things out friend to friend. We then go to Bully Ray, who asks if Jeff Hardy pissed in Sting’s cornflakes because he must have to get him in his first match back. He’s going to make sure Jeff’s first match back is his last match back, and he’s never respected Jeff because rehab is for quitters.

If you can believe this, we go to a Garrett Bischoff video package, and we see all kinds of clips of Garrett intentionally blowing calls to benefit his dad as he talks about how he thought all he had to do was follow his dad because he idolized him his entire life, but he doesn’t want to be like him anymore. He doesn’t want to hit his dad or beat up an old man, and then immediately after that we see a clip of last week when he knocked his old dad out.

Now we go to the arena and Bischoff is coming out to talk. This ought to be enlightening. If boos could kill a man, Bischoff would have been dead before he got close to the ring. He has some family business to take care of here, because his firstborn son, and the crowd actually chants “we want Garrett” as Bischoff calls his kid out for a chat. Yeah, encourage him, way to go. Garrett comes out and gets in the ring, and Eric says that he conceived and raised him to follow in his footsteps, and he didn’t waste his semen so he could go follow someone else. He’s raised him to follow in his footsteps from the day he brought Garrett to the AWA studios in Minneapolis, and Garrett let him down and embarrassed him and the entire Bischoff family for generations to come. He could kick Garrett’s ass, but instead, he’ll do what he never does for anybody. Garrett says he doesn’t want it to go down this way, and Eric says he doesn’t give a damn what he wants and calls him a selfish little prick (again, his words), then says that Garrett will apologize to him before the end of the night or he’ll kick his ass. He calls his son a punk and walks off. What a great segment.

Ric flair is backstage losing his mind over Garrett being a disrespectful punk, and he’s going to find Garrett and talk to him about respect.

Garrett is backstage with Flair and says “Hello, Mr Flair” but Flair says it’s not Mr Flair, it’s God. Wrestling needs men, and not disrespectful little punks like him. Garrett tries to explain, but Flair says he doesn’t want to hear it because Garrett isn’t big, tough, or have enough balls to do what his father did. This business is breaking in punks who couldn’t walk in his shoes 30 years ago. Garrett keeps trying to talk, but Flair keeps cutting him off to tell him that he needs his ass kicked in front of the world to teach these kids respect because this is a sport for men who have bled and sweated and paid the price and not to be surprised if Flair is out there kicking his ass too. Flair slaps him around and shoves him hard in the chest several times before saying something that gets bleeped out and walking off.

Jeff Hardy video package, as he talks about how he needed to go home and get away from TV and wrestling and just get his head together while everyone else wants him gone from TNA. Jeff Jarrett comes out to the ring and says there’s one thing missing from the video package, and that’s the way Hardy looked when he showed up all messed up at his last appearance in early 2011. Maybe they should show him main eventing Turning Point 2006, except that they can’t because he didn’t show up. Hardy’s music hits and he comes out to confront Jarrett, who tears his shirt off and dares Hardy to get in the ring with him. Hardy slides into the ring and they brawl until security comes out to pull them apart yet again. As you might expect, Bully Ray runs out of the back and blindsides Hardy, and the bell rings…

    Jeff Hardy vs Bully Ray

Crowd is solidly behind Hardy as Bully Ray drills him in the head and lights him up with a massive chop in the corner and we go to commercial. We’re back and Hardy is unloading on Bubba in the corner and hits the Whisper In The Wind, then goes for the Twist of Fate but Bubba shoves him off into the ropes and takes him out with a boot to the face. Bubba gets Hardy in a nerve hold, Hardy tries to fight out but Bubba just yanks him down to the mat by the hair. Bubba hits a slam and comes off the ropes with a sweet elbowdrop for 2, then hits a running avalanche in the corner for another 2. Bubba repeatedly drills Hardy with crossfaces and the referee yells at him for some reason I don’t understand because it’s a legal move. Bubba charges Hardy in the corner, but Hardy gets the boot up and comes off the second rope with a legdrop for 2. Bubba hits a big backdrop but misses a big splash, Hardy hits the Twist of Fate and Swanton and that’s all she wrote.

    Winner: Jeff Hardy

Christy Hemme is at ringside and congratulates Jeff on his return to Impact Wrestling, and Hardy wants to welcome everyone back into his life, but the interview is cut short when Jeff Jarrett comes back through the crowd and lays Hardy out from behind. He tosses Hardy back into the ring and Bubba takes his head off with a clothesline. Jarrett pulls a table out from under the ring and they set it up on the inside, but Ken Anderson runs out to save Hardy from death via super bomb and Jarrett and Bubba hightail it to the back.

Bobby Roode is backstage saying he has a ton on his mind: he’s got a chance for another title shot tonight, his best friend is the World Champion, and tonight he has to go through Joe for another shot at achieving his lifelong dream.

#1 Contender Match: Samoa Joe vs Bobby Roode

Tie up and Joe takes Roode to the corner and just beats him down, but Roode pops up and stomps a mudhole in Joe in the corner. Roode tears through Joe with a clothesline and gets a neckbreaker for 1. Joe gets a back elbow, but Roode takes him down into the Crippler Crossface and Joe quickly slips out to the floor. Joe pulls Roode out after him and rams Roode back first into the ring apron, then they head back in and Joe snaps Roode over with a quick powerslam for 2. Joe with the inverted atomic drop, running boot, and senton combo for 2. Joe gets Roode in a rear chinlock, Roode fights his way out but Joe drops him with a running forearm to the face and goes back to the chinlock. Joe gets another inverted atomic drop, but comes off the ropes and Roode catches him with an Arn Anderson spinebuster or, as Tenay calls it, a “Double R” spinebuster. No idea who Double R is, but I’m sure he was watching on proudly. They go toe to toe in the ring with Roode coming out on top, and Roode gets the advantage and takes Joe down with a Blockbuster for 2. Joe hits a Death Valley Driver but only gets 2, so he goes for the Muscle Buster, Roode slips out and gets him in the Crippler Crossface, and Joe reverses to a cradle for 2. Joe with a double kneebreaker, but Roode reverses a whip to send Joe hard into the corner and gets a Perfectplex for the win.

    Winner: Bobby Roode

James Storm comes out of the back and shares a look of respect with Roode, then motions that it’ll be the two of them next week as Roode smiles excitedly. We then go backstage to Bischoff, who says he’s looking forward to confronting his son after what happened last week.

Eric Bischoff comes out to the ring and says it’s embarrassing to have your family dramas play out in front of a national audience, but families can work things out and put stuff behind them, and calls Garrett out to apologize because he raised him right and he made a mistake, but he’s a good kid and he’ll do the right thing. Garrett comes out and Eric says that before he apologizes, he just wants to say that there’s two sides to every coin, so he wants to say that he forgives Garrett for getting caught up in the emotion because he understands what it’s liketo be young and dumb and let things cloud your judgment, so he can go ahead and tell the world he’s sorry and things will go back to the way they used to be. Garrett hesitates, and Eric reminds him that he said to go ahead and apologize because he’s pushing him to the point where he might not forgive him, and he wants him to apologize in front of all these people. Garrett says no, so Eric slaps him and says to apologize. Garrett grabs his dad by the shirt and backs him to the ropes, but Ric Flair comes out and shoves Garrett back.

He says he told Eric to treat Garrett like he treated him, then yells at Garrett to quit worrying about the fans and apologize to his father. Flair slaps Garrett and tells him to apologize to his father and then kiss his ass. Flair slaps him again and says he’s not messing around like his dad and tells him one more time to apologize. He takes his coat off and shoves Garrett into the ropes, and Garrett comes off and decks Flair in the face. Flair pulls his jacket off and kicks Garrett low, then Eric comes from behind and punches his son in the junk, then Flair stomps on his groin, beats the crap out of him in the corner, and kicks him in the nuts again. Flair steps on Garrett’s head and tells him to kiss his ass before stomping on his head as we wrap up this week’s stellar installment of Impact.

McMahon upset over Zack Ryder shirt?

Vince McMahon reportedly "freaked out" a few weeks back when seeing Zack Ryder's "Take Care, Spike Your Hair" t-shirt because of the word "Spike." Apparently this has to do with Spike TV and TNA being on their network.

We noted the other day that Ryder's shirts had sold out on WWE's shop website and he had a new Authentic shirt out. Word is that Vince originally wanted to pull the "Spike" shirts but decided to stop production on them but sell the ones that were in stock.

    Developmental Wrestler Released, Leavine Update

    Developmental Wrestler Released, Leavine Update

The official website of Florida Championship Wrestling has removed developmental wrestler Rodney Thomas from their roster section, which would indicate that he has been released from his contract with WWE.

Thomas, previously known as “Shotgun” Brock Barker on the Canadian independent wrestling scene, is a graduate of Lance Storm’s professional wrestling academy in Calgary, Alberta. He signed a developmental contract with WWE earlier this year following a tryout.

Meanwhile, Tough Enough winner Andy Leavine has been added to their roster under the name Kevin Hackman. Photos of Leavine holding the Tough Enough Championship are enclosed but no mention is made of the Florida native winning the reality television series.

Leavine has been training at their Tampa facility since June, during which he was reportedly suspended for a violation of WWE’s Talent Wellness Program. He has since returned to action.

    - Tonight's WWE RAW Supershow opens up with the usual introduction video. And we're live from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas as the pyro goes off and Michael Cole welcomes us to RAW. He's joined by Jerry Lawler on commentary. They discuss last night's Vengeance pay-per-view. We see stills of the collapsed ring and the Last Man Standing Match. They show the footage of Kevin Nash powerbombing Triple H.

    - We go to the ring and out comes Triple H to a big pop.

The crowd chants Triple H's name. He says it's a tough business. He was talk early that you can either make friends or make money. He says he's always lived by that but considered himself lucky because he's had money and success plus his share of friends. Triple H name-drops Shawn Michaels, Sean Waltman, Kevin Nash. He says somewhere along the lines things changed. He thought he still had friends but when he got in a position of power, realized some of those friends were just there for a reason. HHH throws up the Kliq sign and the crowd pops. He talks about Nash attacking him at Vengeance and the crowd boos. HHH says he isn't worried about his physical well being because this might sound corny, he says, but Kevin Nash broke his heart. Now, he wants to take it out on Nash.

HHH says he knows Nash is here tonight and calls him out. Triple H wants to kick his ass. The crowd chants for Triple H again as he waits for Nash. Out comes John Laurinaitis to heat from the crowd. Laurinaitis heard a rumor that Nash was in town but he also heard a rumor that Nash was at home. Triple H tells him to shut up. Laurinaitis tries to keep talking but HHH stops him. HHH tells him not to step through the ropes because he's not in the mood. It's not going to end well for Laurinaitis, he says. Laurinaitis keeps trying to talk but Triple H cuts him off. HHH says he is the COO and Laurinaitis still reports to him. HHH says Laurinaitis will be the guy tonight who scours the building to find Kevin Nash, then brings him to the ring. HHH doesn't care what Laurinaitis has to do. Bring Nash here and offer him a contract, one he can't refuse. If he doesn't, Triple H is going to go wherever he has to and find Nash. HHH says he will go to jail and embarrass the company if he has to. HHH tells Laurinaitis again to do what he has to do to bring Nash in. HHH drops the mic and walks off. MEXICO CITY – Just two days before the smoldering fires of Vengeance explode their way through the WWE Universe, SmackDown set Mexico City ablaze – as part of WWE’s first television tapings in the country’s history.

Big Show def. WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS)
After escaping Alberto Del Rio’s cross armbreaker, Big Show looked ready to finish off The Mexican Aristocrat with the chokeslam. Before he could, however, the disruptive Ricardo Rodriguez flew towards the giant from the top rope, bringing about the disqualification.

The World’s Largest Athlete responded by delivering the WMD to the impulsive ring announcer – as well as to his reeling hometown opponent. The carnage didn’t stop there. When World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry emerged and charged his gigantic No. 1 contender, Big Show hit The World’s Strongest Champion with his third WMD of the night, sending him crashing to the canvas with incredible force.

What will happen when Big Show challenges Henry for the World Title this Sunday at Vengeance? (MATCH PREVIEW)
Eve humiliated Divas Champion Beth Phoenix (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Just two days before she will attempt to dethrone Divas Champion Beth Phoenix at Vengeance (MATCH PREVIEW), Eve made it clear to both The Glamazon and Natalya that she is not a Barbie doll and that there is nothing they can do to break her. When “The Sisters of Salvation” continued to mock her, the gutsy Diva embarrassed The Fabulous Firebird by pushing her to the canvas.
Sin Cara (Azul) def. Sin Cara (Negro) in a Mask vs. Mask Match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
After Sin Cara (Negro) was forced to tap to Sin Cara’s (Azul) excruciating tilt-a-whirl armbreaker, the special stipulation of their Mask vs. Mask Match called for him to remove his sacred cover! When he refused to do so, the victorious Sin Cara reengaged him and ripped the mask off his head, revealing his face to the WWE Universe.
Randy Orton RKO’d two of Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes’ Baggers (WATCH | PHOTOS)
In recent weeks, Cody Rhodes humiliated Randy Orton by placing a paper bag on his head (WATCH) and cost The Viper the World Heavyweight Title (WATCH). This week, Rhodes explained that his harsh feelings toward his Vengeance opponent went far beyond the vicious attack he suffered on the Sept. 23 edition of SmackDown (WATCH). He said that his actions as of late had allowed a demon to be exorcised, one born of contamination from “The Viper’s venom” back when they stood side-by-side in The Legacy.

When called out by the resentful champion, Orton informed him that his attack with the timekeeper’s bell several weeks ago will be nothing compared to the anguish he will unleash on Rhodes this Sunday. But, when WWE’s Apex Predator tried to give him a painful preview, he was suddenly thwarted by Rhodes’ advancing baggers. Though the Intercontinental Champion would live to fight another day, The Viper stomped one of his assistants into the steel ring steps, before delivering the RKO to the other.
Sheamus & Zack Ryder def. Christian & United States Champion Dolph Ziggler (WATCH | PHOTOS)
When Sheamus hit Dolph Ziggler with the earth-shattering Brogue Kick – earning the tag team victory for him and Zack Ryder – he sent Christian a definitive message about what his opponent is in for this Sunday at Vengeance. However, as the victorious Great White made his way up the ramp, his pay-per-view opponent blindsided him with a surprise spear, sending a message of his own. (MATCH PREVIEW).

SmackDown GM Theodore Long announced Zack Ryder vs. Dolph Ziggler for the United States Championship at Vengeance (WATCH | PREVIEW)
Although Dolph Ziggler will compete in the WWE Tag Team Championship Match this Sunday, Teddy Long informed Vickie Guerrero that he will also be defending the United States Title against Zack Ryder on the same night.

Wade Barrett def. Daniel Bryan (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Insisting that his past alliances with “a legion of parasites” had been of no benefit to him, Wade Barrett proclaimed that “The Great Barrett Uprising” would begin with his match against Daniel Bryan. In the culmination of the intense showdown, the determined English Superstar caught Mr. Money in the Bank in mid-air as he came off the second rope, finishing him with the devastating Wasteland.

World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry def. John Morrison (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Despite an incredible athletic effort by John Morrison, Mark Henry reigned supreme over The Prince of Parkour with the World’s Strongest Slam. Will his uncontrollable rage allow him to conquer the colossal Big Show at Vengeance and return him to the Hall of Pain? (MATCH PREVIEW)
Mexico City voted for WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio to face Big Show (PHOTOS)
Returning home to Mexico with the WWE Championship in his grasp, Alberto Del Rio promised to successfully defend his title against John Cena in a Last Man Standing Match this Sunday at Vengeance (MATCH PREVIEW). However, when The Mexican Aristocrat insisted that an altercation with Cena on Raw had left him too injured to face his scheduled SmackDown opponent Big Show, GM Theodore Long suggested he was just too scared to take on The World’s Largest Athlete.

After an incensed Del Rio claimed he would put the giant in his cross armbreaker and make him tap out, Teddy Long asked the Mexican members of the WWE Universe if the match should go on as planned. When the crowd responded with a resounding applause, the main event was set in stone.

"As most of you already know, I am going to be out of the WWE spotlight for the next few weeks. Of course everyone is going to form thier(sic) own opinions on why that is but I don't feel the need to explain myself to all the SLATER HATERS out there running thier(sic) mouths. There R plenty of things on my mind that I would like to say to those people but Im not going to to waste my time, my breath or my energy. Instead I'm going to focus all my efforts on being the best Superstar I can be - MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY... TO MYSELF, MY FRIENDS, FAMILY AND TRUE FANS I am truly sorry to have disappointed you. I made a simple mistake... everyone does once in a while. But trust me when I say I will NOT be making this one again. I PROMISE upon my return you will see a more determined, fearless, confident and improved person. Im going to be THE MAN I WANT TO BE. So let the countdown start..."

Uitslagen tna impact wrestling 20 oktober

The following is the TNA Wrestling Impact results for October 20, 2011, which was taped this past Tuesday from Orlando, Florida and features the aftermath of Sunday’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view.

We see a video package recapping the history of Evil Hulk Hogan as he stole TNA out from under Dixie Carter, and then the events of Bound For Glory as Sting defeated Hogan to regain control of TNA for Dixie, and Hogan’s subsequent face turn. We go to the ring where Sting comes out for the opening promo wearing a Hulk Hogan shirt, and he made a promise to bring Impact Wrestling back to Dixie and set Hulk Hogan back on the straight and narrow as the icon who defines wrestling. He had to step out of his skin a little bit, but he had to help Hogan do the right thing for the wrestlers, the fans who have supported him for 30 years, and Hulk Hogan, the greatest wrestler of all time, came home. Sting asks Hogan to come out to the ring, and the Hulkster himself comes out once again wearing the red and yellow. So after everything, they’re suddenly best friends? Hogan is walking a little gingerly on his way to the ring, and he gives Sting a big hug as the crowd chants “welcome back” at him. Hogan admits that for the last year, he’s been wrong and he thanks the fans. He had a couple of rough years and he gives Eric Bischoff credit with helping to get his life back together, so he followed Eric’s lead in the wrestling business and he now realizes how wrong he was. He’s not blaming Bischoff because he was the one who made the choices he made, but he wants to give Sting credit for putting up with his crap for a year, he stayed true to the fans and Impact Wrestling, and now Hulk Hogan is back and he wants to know what we’re gonna do when the Hulkster and Sting run wild on us. Sting beat him fair and square in the middle of the ring, and he’ll never forget what Sting did for him.

Sting now asks Dixie Carter to come join him, and she makes her way down the ramp as we go to commercial.

Okay, we’re back and Sting says it’s a time to celebrate, but that doesn’t erase how Sting tried to tell her about Hogan 18 months ago and she didn’t listen. Dixie gave Sting a home in TNA and he’s glad, but now Dixie needs to surround herself with sincere people who have the best interests of the fans and wrestlers in mind because there’s no room for error anymore. Dixie apologizes because they were right all along and she didn’t listen to them. Her place isn’t in the ring, it’s making sure it’s the best it can be, and this last year has made her want to fight harder than ever before to make it the best wrestling company in the world. She’ll spend a lot more time back at headquarters to do this, so she appoints Sting the General Manager or Commissioner or whatever they’ll call it so he can run the day to day stuff because she needs his help to turn things around. Sting says he’ll do it, and she thanks him and the fans again.

Wait a minute, Kurt Angle’s music hits and the man who is inexplicably still the World Champion comes walking down the aisle with a big smile on his face.

Okay, we’re back again and Angle mockingly greets Sting and Dixie Carter even though they expected Robert Roode to be standing in his spot. Dixie may be back in charge and have given Sting control over the company, but he’s going to do what he does best, and that’s represent the company as the champion. They spent weeks making Bobby Roode look great, interviewed his family and everything, but Angle made him look like a loser because he’s the better man. The Beer Money music hit and Roode powerwalks down the aisle and he’s aghast that Kurt Angle, the Olympic Champion, had to screw Robert Roode by using the ropes to beat him. He spent 13 years working toward the goal of winning the title only for Angle to screw him in the end. Sting tries to make a rematch tonight, but Angle reveals that he had Hogan and Bischoff put a stipulation in the contract that Roode would only get one shot at the title. He goes to use James Storm’s catchphrase on Roode, but Storm cuts him off and uses it himself, then makes his way to the ring and…

Okay, James Storm introduces himself to Angle and asks him if the contract Angle signed saves him from having to wrestle Storm. Angle screwed the fans and Impact Wrestling and especially Bobby Roode at Bound For Glory, and with all the screwing he’s been doing, he screwed James Storm as well and now we have a problem. Storm knows a man who can fix the problem, and says that since he and Sting both wear sunglasses indoors, and since Bobby Roode can’t get another title shot, and since the fans want to see a title match here tonight- wait, Angle cuts him off and says Storm needs to stop drinking on the job because there’s ten guys ahead of him in line. Sting shuts Angle up and says that tonight, Angle is going to defend the World Title against James Storm. Roode says he just remembered his partner’s line, and he tells Angle that he’s sorry about his damn luck.

Eric Bischoff and Immortal confront Hulk Hogan in the parking lot and says he wants to have a meeting later tonight out in the ring, so if he still has balls after handing them to Sting and Dixie, to face him out in the ring because he has something to get off his chest. It’s our favorite part…COMMERCIAL BREAK!!

Knockouts Tag Team Title Match: Tara & Brooke Tessmacher vs Winter & Angelina Love

Angelina and Winter attack before the bell and dump Tara to the floor so they can double team Miss Tessmacher. Winter with a side backbreaker for 2 and then Angelina comes in with an elbowdrop for 2. Angelina misses a crossbody out of the corner and Tessmacher makes the hot tag, allowing Tara to come in and clean house. She nearly breaks Winter in half with a clothesline, then wraps her t-shirt around Winter’s neck and tosses her across the ring. She gets a spinning slam for 2, Tara makes a blind tag and wipes Winter and Angelina out, then Tessmacher comes off the top with a nice flying bodypress for the win.

    Winners: Tara & Brooke Tessmacher

The Jarretts arrive at the arena, and then it’s the return of our old friend, the commercial break!

Jeff and Karen Jarrett come out to the ring and Jeff calls Jeffrey Nero Hardy out to the ring to finish what he started last Sunday. He reminds Hardy that he’s been screwing Jarrett for years going back to the first time he no-showed a PPV, so he’ll give Hardy a choice: either drop the microphone, head to the back, and never be seen again, or he can suffer the consequences at the hands of the founder. Jarrett takes his shirt off and awaits Hardy’s decision, and Hardy hesitates a good long time as the fans chant his name before telling Jarrett that regardless of what he thinks, the fans want him there and Jarrett’s the only one still bitching. He thinks it eats Jarrett up the way the fans react to Hardy, and he’ll never be able to light up the crowd the way Hardy can. Jarrett attacks Hardy, but ends up getting his ass kicked by the Charismatic Enigma before security runs in to separate them. They keep breaking away and go back after each other as security again shows how effective they are at doing anything in wrestling. D-Lo Brown and Al Snow come out to help calm the situation, and end up getting in each other’s faces as Jarrett comes in and kicks Hardy in the Nero. Hardy goes down like a ton of bricks, Jarrett kisses his wife, and they walk off as Jeff lays in the ring holding his nether regions.

We go backstage to Kurt Angle, who says that nobody backs Kurt Angle into a corner, and he’s going to destroy James Storm tonight.

Eric Young is backstage and wants to do a sexy photo shoot for the troops, and Robbie E comes in with Rob Terry and says the TV Title belongs to him. Eric says he’s going to go to Sting to make the match, and he’s bringing Ronnie from the Jersey Shore with him. Robbie E obviously doesn’t believe him, but WE KNOW BETTER.

Gunner comes out for his match, but like everyone else on the show, he needs to talk first! He says that there’s a code when you become part of Immortal, and Abyss forgot about that, so Gunner went to Eric and offered to take out the trash, and tells Abyss tocome out to the ring so he can finish the job.

    Gunner vs Abyss

Gunner jumps Abyss on the way to the ring, but Abyss comes back with a chokeslam and then a right hand sends Gunner crashing out to the floor. Abyss goes after Gunner and rams him into the steps, so Gunner hops the rail and runs through the crowd and gets counted out.

    Winner: Abyss by CO

Abyss convulses in the ring and then Velvet says winning the Knockouts Title was the highlight of her life, and she has nobody but the fans to thank for being behind her 110%, and that’s what she’s going to do right now. Commercial time!

Ric Flair is backstage with Immortal, but Gunner runs backstage freaking out because that wasn’t Abyss who just kicked his ass, it was THE MONSTER ABYSS, and he’s someone they could use on their side with Hulk gone. We then go to a video package of Velvet Sky talkingabout people used to pick on her when she was young and she had to fight to earn the biggest win of her career at Bound For Glory.

We head out to the ring so a fan can hold up a sign misspelling pigeons and Velvet can thank the fans. She’s proud to be able to finally stand in front of the fansas the Knockouts Champion, and with all the bullies she’s had to deal with and all the bumps and bruises, this is for the people who tried to shut her down and makeher feel like she would neverbe good enough to be the champion. It took four years, but she did it and the fans have been great to her, and- wait, Karen Jarrett’s music hits and shecomes out to the ring dragging Traci Brooks with her. Karen has the power to fire the both of them, but that would be way too easy, and nobody sees Karen out here crying about crap. If she thinks Traci’s had it bad, she hasn’t seen anything yet because she’s about to make her life a living hell. She has security eject Traci, then tells Velvet she doesn’t know who she thinks she is or who she’s screwing with, and her first instinct was to strip Velvet of the title, but Jeff convinced her to take the high road, so she wants to see Velvet bleed instead. She’s got just the person to make it happen, but first she tells Velvet to grow eyes in the back of her head.

Madison Rayne’s music hits and she comes strolling down the ramp, but suddenly Gail Kim, fresh off her live shoot interview, comes out of the crowd and attacks Velvet from behind and she and Madison Rayne beat the champion down and then all three of them celebrate in the middle of the ring.

Hulk Hogan is backstage, and he’s…WALKING!

Eric Bischoff comes out with Immortal in tow and he’s going to take care of his punk kid in due time, but he’s got business with Hogan right now and he wants Hulk to come out to the ring and show him what he’s got. Hogan comes out and tells Bischoff that if he’s got something to say, he’s got one shot. Bischoff wants Hogan to explain how he turns his back on the guys who have been watching his back for months, and also turned his back on Bischoff, the man who made Hulk Hogan. Forget Andre and Hulkamania, if it weren’t for Bischoff, Hogan wouldn’t be here. But worst of all, Hogan came between Bischoff and his son, and he was trying to turn Garrett into himself, but Hogan made Garrett turn his back on him. Hogan says he learned a lot about both Eric and Garrett over the last few days, and Garrett is a man Eric could never be. Eric takes a shot at Hogan and Hogan no-sells, but Immortal comes into the ring before Hogan can go after Bischoff. Sting runs into the ring with his bat and Immortal (which needs a new name) clears out. Bischoff backs up the rampway and is yelling at Hogan, and therefore doesn’t see his son behind him. Bischoff asks Garrett what he’s got to say to him, and Garrett says he’s a disgrace. Eric repeatedly pokes Garrett in the chest and tears open his shirt to reveal a “Bischoff” tattoo, and says he doesn’t have a right to wear that. Garrett knocks his old man out and yells “SCREW YOU, DAD, SCREW YOU!” at Eric.

Beer Money is backstage and Storm says he wishes he had more time to prepare, and Roode says he’s been preparing his whole career because he’s been here since day one. He could complain about what happened at Bound For Glory, but now this is Storm’s time, everyone believes that Storm can do it, and tonight he wants to celebrate with the new World Champion, James Storm.

    It’s main event time!

World Title Match: Kurt Angle vs James Storm

The bell rings, they stare each other down, then Angle kicks Storm in the gut and unloads with a series of right hands, beating Storm down in the corner. Angle’s right hamstring is heavily taped as he continues to punch and stomp at Storm, and the referee tries to back Angle away, but Angle just shoves him off. Angle plays to the crowd, but turns around and Storm knocks him out with a superkick and gets the pin to win the World Championship.

Winner and NEW World Champion: James Storm

Robert Roode runs into the ring to celebrate with his partner, they hug in the middle of the ring and then Storm takes the belt and goes out into the crowd to celebrate with the fans. Frankie Kazarian comes out to the ring to join Roode, as well as AJ Styles, and Storm makes his way back into the ring to join his Fortune teammates. The ring is absolutely drenched with beer from the celebration as the fans chant “Cowboy” at Storm, who gets a mic and says that he’s been with the company since day one and he’s seen people come and go, but the Cowboy is here to stay. Even though the victory was a little bittersweet, and Robert Roode is his best friend in the world and the best tag partner in the world, but the title belongs to him. Storm hands the belt to Roode, but Roode agrees with all the people that Storm deserves it. He wraps the belt around Storm’s waist and fastens it, and then Fortune stands together in the ring with the new World Champion.
