Posted by Dave Mitchell on 10/10/2011 at 11:42 PM

    - WWE Chairman Vince McMahon made a surprise return on Monday’s RAW. In an ironic twist of fate, Vince McMahon informed Triple H that the Board of Directors had relieved Triple H of his duties as COO. This is the same explanation Vince McMahon was given back in July when Triple H informed him he was forced out of his job.

    - Vince McMahon named John Laurinaitis is the new interim RAW General Manager.

    - It was announced during RAW that Laurinaitis can now be followed on Twitter @WWERAWGM.

    - Jim Ross was fired by John Laurinaitis on RAW, which took place from JR’s home state of Oklahoma.

    - The Miz and R-Truth have been reinstated. CM Punk was wrestling WWE champion Alberto Del Rio during the main event of RAW, when Laurinaitis came out and told them the match was being changed to a tag team match. Punk and Del Rio would be teaming up against the reinstated Miz and R-Truth.

WWE Raw SuperShow results: The "Laurinaitis Era" begins
By: Ryan Murphy October 10, 2011
Tags: Raw, WWE Raw SuperShow: October 10, 2011
OKLAHOMA CITY — The stark image of an empty locker room posted on WWE.com hours before the Raw SuperShow may have led the WWE Universe to believe that the night’s event might not even happen. After all, the majority of the Raw roster refused to compete if Triple H was still in charge. Leave it to Mr. McMahon to turn the evening into one of the most contentious nights in history.

CM Punk & WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio def. The Miz & R-Truth by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS)
What started off as a showdown between the WWE Champion and The Straight Edge Superstar soon exploded into tag team warfare when Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis reinstated the controversial duo of Miz & Truth and set this match on the spot. Quickly abandoned by his spineless partner, Punk was forced to go it alone against his devious opponents. But when The Awesome Truth began to double-team The Voice of the Voiceless, The Game rushed to the ring to defend his former rival in a show of solidarity the WWE Universe could actually get behind.

Following the match, the Interim Raw General Manager proposed yet another idea to bring to the Board — a bout pitting CM Punk & Triple H against The Miz & R-Truth at Vengeance.

WWE Tag Team Champions Air Boom & Mason Ryan def. United States Champion Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger & David Otunga (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Two weeks after he returned to the ring and smashed both Jack Swagger & United States Champion Dolph Ziggler, the massive Mason Ryan joined forces with the WWE Tag Team Champions to do it again. Throwing his considerable weight around, the powerhouse from Wales stomped through his three opponents before planting the United States Champion into the canvas. It’s clear this big man means business.

Mr. Laurinaitis announced the Vengeance main event, fired Jim Ross (WATCH)
Less than an hour into his tenure as Interim Raw General Manager, John Laurinaitis dropped two bombshells. First, he announced that WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio will defend his title against John Cena at Vengeance. (MATCH PREVIEW)Then, in a move that shocked the WWE Universe, Mr. Laurinaitis beckoned Jim Ross into the ring and called the WWE Hall of Famer an ingrate for walking out on Triple H last week. The EVP of Talent Relations then fired the legendary announcer. (WATCH: J.R. EXITS THE ARENA)
Kelly Kelly & Eve def. Tamina & Rosa Mendes (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Still fired up following her brutal beat down of Beth Phoenix on last Monday’s Raw, Kelly Kelly came to fight with her good friend Eve by her side. Tempering the blonde beauty’s aggressiveness with her ring smarts, Eve capitalized on the punishment Kelly dished out by pinning Tamina for the win. Somewhere in the locker room, Beth & Natalya were watching this match very closely.

Randy Orton def. World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Less than two weeks before he faces Big Show at Vengeance (MATCH PREVIEW), Mark Henry clashed with Randy Orton and came very close to falling to WWE’s Apex Predator. After getting nailed with a devastating RKO, The World's Strongest Man was down for the count before a malicious Cody Rhodes attacked Orton for the second time in the bout. The Intercontinental Champion and Mark Henry brutalized the vulnerable Viper before Rhodes sent a humiliating message of contempt to his former mentor by putting a paper bag on his head.

Christian def. John Morrison; main events made (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Immediately stepping into his new role, Mr. Laurinaitis welcomed the embattled Superstars back into the arena and sent Christian and John Morrison directly to the ring in their street clothes. Already unhappy with the new General Manager, Captain Charisma took his anger out on The Shaman of Sexy, beating JoMo and then encouraging Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler to smash the fallen competitor.

This bout was just the beginning of the Laurinatis-led Raw Supershow. In short order, the GM scheduled two main events for the night — World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton and WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio vs. CM Punk.

John Cena vs. Sheamus ended in a No Contest (WATCH); Mr. McMahon named John Laurinaitis Interim Raw GM (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Determined to put on a show, Cena and Sheamus locked up in the ring while Triple H officiated and Punk handled commentary. It was an entertaining, makeshift match that was soon interrupted by an unexpected presence — Mr. McMahon. Calling an end to the bout, the intimidating magnate addressed his son-in-law directly, telling Triple H that he liked his style, but the WWE Board of Directors has labeled him as a possible financial catastrophe and has relieved him of his duties on Raw. Furthermore, the Board declared that no member of the McMahon family could run the Raw SuperShow due to a conflict of interest, leading Mr. McMahon to announce a new Interim General Manager of Raw — WWE Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis. (WATCH: LAURINAITIS REACTS TO BEING NAMED GM)

Triple H addressed the state of the Raw SuperShow (PHOTOS)
Defiant in the face of the chaos that has taken over the Raw SuperShow, Triple H vowed that he would not step down as WWE COO and that the night’s event would continue as planned in spite of the Superstar “Solidarity Rally” that was taking place in the parking lot of Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena. (PHOTOS | WATCH: EXCLUSIVE RALLY FOOTAGE) The Game was not alone, though. Soon joined by John Cena, Sheamus and CM Punk, Triple H and this group of Superstars made it clear that they believe in sports-entertainment’s oldest adage — the show must go on.

Sunny Reportedly Drinking Again & Depressed

Sunny Reportedly Drinking Again & Depressed
Posted by Dave Mitchell on 10/10/2011 at 05:17 PM

As reported earlier, former WWE talent Tammy Sytch (a/k/a Sunny) was advertised to appear at Saturday's Legends of the Ring event at the Crowne Plaza in Monroe, New Jersey, but no-showed. That would make the second consecutive weekend where she missed scheduled bookings after arriving to them.

She was spotted highly intoxicated at the hotel's sports bar the night before and needed assistance returning to her room since she was unable to walk on her own. She spent Saturday and Sunday in her hotel room before returning home.

Sytch wrote of her whereabouts Monday afternoon on Facebook, "sorry i havent posted.....been very sick....."

Sytch appeared in no condition to perform at Northeast Wrestling's Brass City Brawl II event on September 30 in Waterbury, Connecticut and was scratched from the show as a result. According to a source, a referee drove her back to her hotel and she wouldn't leave her room the following day. She was then escorted off the premises by law enforcement. She missed a show she booked to appear on that day in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Sytch wrote "detoxing is not fun" two days later on her Facebook account. She then revealed on Thursday that she's depressed.

"I want to thank everyone who stood behind me and sent well wishes during this hard time," she wrote. "Im sorry I havent responded sooner, but depression can be a bitch....dont feel like doing much at all..."

Her recent troubles are apparently related to problems with her boyfriend of over five years, who she broke up with a week earlier. She trashed her longtime partner on September 22 on Facebook by claiming that he cheated on her. She wrote three days later, "ok, seriously dont know what to do....need a sugar daddy asap....any takers??" She announced the following day that she was in a relationship with Brad Zapenas, a 21-year-old minor league baseball player for the Chicago Cubs. The relationship, however, would be short-lived as they broke up on Sunday.

Sytch faced a similar set of problems earlier this year as she appeared intoxicated at a Florida independent wrestling show on February 25. She slurred her words during a verbal confrontation with Danny Demanto and suffered multiple wardrobe malfunctions—she purposely flashed her breasts during a match to onlookers and her top accidentally came loose when she attempted to slap a wrestler.

She stated days later on Facebook that she was dealing with personal problems at home: "To everyone: let me explain why Ive been so upset lately. I have made the biggest mistake of my life, and have hurt the only person who ever cared about me and stood behind me thru my worst times. Now I have to deal with the pain b/c of my own mistake."

The former WWE Diva appeared intoxicated at a multitude of independent wrestling events in the years prior to her comeback. Her erratic behavior intensified in the months following the April 2005 death of longtime partner Chris Candido: she officiated at least two matches while intoxicated and was escorted from a wrestling convention after causing a scene near Bret Hart. Her wily antics, however, simmered after she entered a relationship with a police official in January 2006 (who she broke up with last month) and shortly thereafter began her road to recovery, which culminated with enshrinement into WWE's Hall of Fame last April.

    Sunny note

-- Former WWE diva Tammy "Sunny" Sytch no-showed yet another event this past weekend, a 'Legends of the Ring' this past Saturday in Monroe, New Jersey. She was spotted at the hotel bar the night before, but never made it to the actual convention as advertised. This is the second week in a row that she's no-showed events.

    - WWE Superstar Darren Young wrote the following on Twitter this weekend regarding his recent suspension for violating the Wellness Policy:

Detailed TNA vs AAA Heroes Inmortales PPV Results

Below is a recap of TNA Wrestling related matches at tonight's Heroes Inmortales pay per view in Mexico.

Velvet Sky, Jennifer Blake and Sexy Star defeated Cinthia Moreno, Mari Apache and Fabi Apache in a glow in the dark reinas match:
Due to the low visibility, the match was said to be hard to follow with so many people involved. Some wrestlers only had a few trimmings on their outfits that were glowing added to the already short list of clothes they normally wear. Sexy Star used a chair on Fabi Apache for the win. Sky, Blake and Sexy Star celebrated in the ring after their match.

Abyss & Chessman defeated Extreme Tiger & Jack Evans in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match for the AAA World Tag Team titles.
The Tag Titles were hanging above the ring. Whichever team gets to them first, wins. A good back and fourth match with lots of hardcore spots. Extreme Tiger did a big legdrop off of the ladder hitting Chessman. Abyss nails Extreme Tiger through a table filled with tacks. Jack Evans begins climbing the ladder to get the titles when Chessman chases after him. Abyss sets up a table next to the ladder. Chessman chokeslams Jack Evans from the ladder and onto the table. Chessman grabs the belts.

Electroshock defeated LA Park, La Parka, Magnus, Joe Lider, Zorro, Jeff Jarrett, Cibernetico and Silver King for the Antonio Pena memorial cup:
The match was contested like a typical battle royale (royal rumble) with contestants coming out at certain points in the match. LA Park and La Parka started the match off. Silver King is the first to enter from the back. Electroshock and Cibernetico were the third and fourth contestants. La Parka took out Cibernetico but also disqualified himself in the process. Zorro is the fifth contestant. Jeff Jarrett is the sixth contestant. Silver king is eliminated and out comes Joe Lider. Magnus is the eighth contestant to enter. LA Park eliminates Zorro and Electroshock eliminates Magnus. LA Park eliminates Joe Lider. Jeff Jarrett and LA Park join forces to attack Electroshock. LA Park stopped and began posing in the middle of the ring Jarrett follows him in the festivities. LA Park grabs Jeff Jarrett and eliminates him. LA Park continues dancing and begins to make fun of Jeff and Karen Jarrett. Karen grabs LA Park's leg when a masked version of Zorro comes out and attacks LA Park. Electroshock threw LA Park out for the win.

El Mesías vs Sting ends in a no contest
Sting appeared in his joker persona. The match begins and just a few short minutes into it, Konnan, Jarrett and Magnus appear. Jeff Jarrett attacks Mesias while the referee wasn't looking. Magnus appears and offers Sting a chair and he refuses. When Magnus insist that Sting take the chair, Sting hits Magnus with the chair. Mesias seizes the opportunity and attacks Sting. Jarrett and Konnan attack Sting but he makes a comeback and attacks Jarrett and Konnan with his bat. Mesias joins in and helps Sting. Mesias and Sting look each other face to face, shake hands and walk away to end the match in a no contest.

HHH Comments on Monday's Raw, Solidarity Rally
Posted by Steve Carrier on 10/08/2011 at 01:07 PM

In light of news that WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H has vowed to not step down from running the Raw Supershow, Christian has spearheaded an effort by various Superstars, Divas, referees, announcers and crew members to travel to Oklahoma City on Monday and stage a "Solidarity Rally" in the backstage parking lot of the Chesapeake Energy Arena prior to the show. The contingent, which consists of those who walked out on Triple H this past Monday night, tell WWE.com that they will not return to the Raw Supershow or step into the venue to perform until Triple H relinquishes control.

Triple H stated earlier in a video interview that John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Sheamus and Big Show will headline Monday night's telecast.

"Beyond that, I might not have referees, I might not have announcers, I might not have cameramans. Quite frankly, I don't know what's going to happen," he said. "We'll see what we come up with on Monday. Hell, they might all show up and I won't let anyone back in."

SmackDown results: Teddy Long – key holder to the WWE Universe?
By: Mitch Passero October 7, 2011
Tags: SmackDown, SmackDown: October 7, 2011
BILOXI, Miss. – The one-year anniversary of SmackDown on Syfy (MORE) included the return of an angry Big Show, more reactions surrounding the Raw walkout, and a message from the EVP of Talent Relations about the importance of maintaining order on Friday nights.

Big Show returned and chokeslammed Mark Henry (WATCH | PHOTOS)
After Mark Henry sidelined Big Show for four months by fracturing his leg in a steel chair, Show returned … and he was pissed! After his demand for a World Title Match was denied by Henry, The World’s Largest Athlete went berserk, charged to the ring and unloaded on Henry with massive punches. Even a slew of WWE security personnel could not stop the onslaught.

After pushing his way through security in the ring, Show viciously speared Henry, then brutalized an entire ring full of security. When Henry tried to walk off with his title during the melee, The World’s Largest Athlete chased him down.

At first it looked as if Henry was going to win the fight when he slammed Show into the ringside barrier. But The World’s Largest Athlete battled back and chokeslammed the champion through the announce table in a dramatic show of strength.

With Henry dazed and vulnerable, Show was prepared to inflict the exact same punishment that Henry used to put him out of commission. With the champion’s leg entangled in a steel chair, Show was ready leap on top of him from the steel ring steps. But just in the nick of time, Henry was spared when GM Teddy Long emerged to calm the angry giant by agreeing to give him what he wanted – a World Championship Match – as long as he did not leap on Henry. Show heeded the GM’s orders, but still blasted The World’s Strongest Man in the back with a steel chair for good measure. When will we see these two titans clash?

Randy Orton & Sheamus def. Christian & Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The powerhouse duo of Randy Orton and Sheamus proved too much to handle for Christian and Cody Rhodes. After The Celtic Warrior worked over Rhodes pretty good, he tossed Christian from the ring. Next, The Viper took over and dispatched of Rhodes with a debilitating RKO for the win.

Hornswoggle returned to SmackDown (WATCH | PHOTOS)
After making his return, Hornswoggle convinced Booker T to get in the ring and do a Spin-a-Roonie for the WWE Universe.

WWE EVP of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis said SmackDown’s success is vital (WATCH)
In a meeting with Teddy Long, WWE EVP John Laurinaitis expressed his support for Long and explained the importance of what happens on Friday nights. “If you lose control of SmackDown like Triple H lost control of Raw, the entire WWE Universe is going to be in turmoil,” he said.

Ezekiel Jackson def. Jinder Mahal (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Former Intercontinental Champion Ezekiel Jackson absolutely manhandled Jinder Mahal. After brutally slamming Mahal to the canvas four consecutive times, Jackson made him tap out after a painful session in the Torture Rack.

Randy Orton explained why he didn’t walk out on Raw (WATCH)
In an interview with Matt Striker, Randy Orton said he won’t beg like Christian for one more World Title match. “If I have to tear through the entire SmackDown roster in order to have another championship match, then I’m all for it,” he said. And not willing to lump himself in with the other Superstars who participated in the Raw walkout, The Viper said “If I have a problem with Triple H, I’ll deal with Triple H personally.”

Big Show demanded a World Title opportunity (PHOTOS)
After making an emotional comeback in front of the WWE Universe, Big Show threatened to repeatedly punch Mark Henry in the head and take the World Heavyweight Championship from him. After Show called Henry out, the champion obliged and emerged at the top of the ramp to say he’ll let Show know when and if he gets a match with Henry. Furious, The World’s Largest Athlete retorted by saying he’d put Henry through the announce table and break his ankle with a steel chair if he didn’t get the answer he wanted by the end of the night.

Divas Champion Beth Phoenix def. Alicia Fox (WATCH | PHOTOS)
In a decisive and impressive victory, newly crowned Divas Champion Beth Phoenix made quick work of Alicia Fox, trouncing the smaller Diva with the Glam Slam. Afterward, Natalya locked Fox in a painful submission hold, while Phoenix forced her to cry out in pain over the mic.

Jack Swagger & United States Champion Dolph Ziggler def. WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne in a Non-Title Match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
As the WWE Tag Team Champions approached the ring, they were viciously attacked from behind by Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler. When the match eventually got started, Kingston came out swinging with an emotional offense. However, the champions never seemed to be able to recover from the initial assault. In the end, Swagger planted Bourne into the canvas with the Gutwrench Powerbomb for the win. Afterward, Vickie Guerrero came to the ring to help celebrate the victory.

The WWE Tag Team Champions vowed not to appear on Raw (WATCH)
In an interview with Matt Striker, WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne spoke about the Raw walkout. Although they felt things might not entirely be Triple H’s fault – until he steps down from running Raw – Air Boom declared they will only be appearing on SmackDown.

Booker T and Michael Cole clarified their position on the Raw walkout
Michael Cole said he walked on Raw about because Triple H’s ego has been out of control and he hasn’t been listening to people’s grievances. On the other hand, Booker T said he is neutral about the situation and only walked out on Raw because he needed to use the bathroom.

WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio def. Sin Cara “Azul” (WATCH | PHOTOS)
After earning the right to be called Sin Cara at WWE Hell in a Cell, The Mexican Sensation tangled with fellow Mexican Superstar, WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio for the first time ever. Despite a valiant effort, Sin Cara “Azul” was forced to tap out to Del Rio’s cross armbreaker. After the match, Sin Cara “Negro” charged to the ring and attacked Sin Cara “Azul,” leaving him writhing in pain after a leap from the top rope. Despite what went down at WWE Hell in a Cell, clearly there is unfinished business between the two masked Superstars. (MORE on the two Sin Caras)

The Raw walkout will continue (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The night started with a group of Superstars explaining why they walked out on Raw, citing an unsafe work environment. David Otunga went as far as saying they are also prepared to walk out of SmackDown, unless Triple H steps down from running day-to-day operations. The last to speak for the group was Del Rio, who said he inspired everyone to walk out on Raw. The WWE Champion then declared that none of them will appear on Raw again until Triple H steps down from running Raw, and that he’s eager to compete on SmackDown. Hearing enough, Teddy Long emerged and ended all the talk by announcing two matches for the night: the tag team main event, as well as Del Rio vs. Sin Cara.
