Several TNA Contracts Expiring Including Top Stars

    - Word is that several TNA contracts are set to expire in the next few months. While no names have been disclosed, it's said that one of the contracts expiring belongs to a current TNA title holder.

TNA's current champions are Kurt Angle (World Title), Eric Young (TV Title), Austin Aries (X Division Title), Winter (Knockouts Title), Hernandez & Anarquia (Tag Titles) and Tara & Miss Tessmacher (KO Tag Titles).

On a related note, the contracts of Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff reportedly expire the week of TNA's Bound For Glory pay-per-view in just a few weeks. There has been no word yet about Hogan or Bischoff re-signing.

Steve Austin's Thoughts On Sting Vs. Hogan

Steve Austin's Thoughts On Sting Vs. Hogan
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin sat down for an interview for The Sun. In it, he talks about the Hogan vs Sting match that takes place at Bound For Glory:

    Quote

I’ll be honest, I hadn’t heard about Hogan v Sting. That will be interesting too, I mean Hogan had back surgery didn’t he? They are both great guys. I’m a fan of Sting’s and he can still go with the best of them. I know Hogan well and he still has it when he needs it. It will be a very interesting night at the office that one and I will most certainly be watching Bound For Glory to see how it works out.

I get annoyed when people say that such and such should retire, or they shouldn’t compete due to injury or age. I know how it works and many of these guys find it hard to stay out of the ring. Hogan, for example, was put on this world to be there. There may often be money involved when guys step back in the ring, but it’s more about their need to be there than the financial rewards. The other thing is that there are so few people coming up through the ranks who can match the success of guys like Hulk, Flair, Sting or myself. Cena may be the only one who has reached that level — I’ve yet to see another hit that peak yet.

Booker T to wrestle again in the near future?

According to F4WOnline.com, WWE has had discussions of Booker T coming back to wrestle in a short program on SmackDown against an undisclosed opponent.

Booker T has competed in one match since assuming the SmackDown color commentator position in February. On the June 6 episode of Raw, Booker wrestled his first singles match for the organization in four years, gaining a victory over Jack Swagger via count out.

SmackDown results: Henry successful in first World Title defense

DAYTON, Ohio – With his Hell in a Cell Match with Randy Orton quickly approaching, new World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry made things crystal clear – he intends to hold onto the World Title for a long time to come.

World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry def. Christian in a Lumberjack Match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Christian clearly bit off more than he could chew when he found himself in the first ever SmackDown World Title Lumberjack Match against the newly-crowned World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry. Even the lumberjacks found themselves outmatched against the champion, despite having a numbers advantage.

When the sea of Superstars surrounding the ring swarmed the champion, he easily pushed them away. To finally assert his dominance, he hoisted the hapless Trent Barreta high overhead and tossed him onto the dazed lumberjacks.

When Henry reentered the ring, Christian chose not to follow. But Sheamus was more than happy to help the match carry on by tossing Christian back to The World’s Strongest Man, who dispatched of him with the World’s Strongest Slam.

Then – still seething after losing the World Title – Randy Orton charged to the ring to stare down the reigning champion. As the two sized each other up, The Viper struck first. With Henry still reeling, Orton forced him out of the ring with a well-targeted dropkick. Showing no signs of fear, Orton stared down Henry who remained outside the ring. What will happen when the two are locked inside unforgiving steel at Hell in a Cell? (PREVIEW)

WWE Tag Team Champions Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston def. The Usos (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Packing a potent offense, WWE Tag Team Champions Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston looked good against the equally impressive Usos. However, Kingston’s Trouble in Paradise followed up by Bourne’s Shooting Star Press proved too much to overcome.

Sin Cara def. Daniel Bryan (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The mystery surrounding the two Sin Caras continued to grow. After one Sin Cara was fully engaged in battle with Daniel Bryan, the other Sin Cara attacked and snatched the pinfall for himself.

The Great Khali def. Jinder Mahal (WATCH | PHOTOS)
No longer under Jinder Mahal’s control, The Great Khali relished in an opportunity to face Mahal within the squared circle. With a massive display of force, Khali obliterated his former manipulator with a Punjabi Plunge.

Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes def. Randy Orton by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The voices in Randy Orton’s head must have been telling him to do really, really bad things on this night. After being disqualified for smashing Cody Rhodes in the face with his protective mask, The Viper unleashed hell on Rhodes. First The Viper punched, RKO’d, then tossed Rhodes to the arena floor. Next, Orton bashed his former Legacy ally in the skull with the timekeeper’s bell. But Orton wasn’t done yet. To put the finishing touches on Rhodes, the former World Champion brutally RKO’d him onto the announce table.

Beth Phoenix & Natalya def. A.J. & Kaitlyn (WATCH | PHOTOS)
After losing to Divas Champion Kelly Kelly & Eve on Raw, Beth Phoenix and Natalya rebounded strong in a match against A.J. and Kaitlyn. To close the deal, Phoenix smashed A.J. to the canvas with a bone-rattling Glam Slam.

Wade Barrett def. Justin Gabriel (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Still furious over losing to Justin Gabriel in tag action last week, Wade Barrett came out swinging. With a boot to Gabriel’s face, then Wasteland, Barrett reigned supreme.

Sheamus def. Heath Slater (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Outmatched and overpowered, Heath Slater didn’t stand much of a chance against Sheamus. When The Celtic Warrior was ready to end things, he put the punctuation mark on the bout by blasting Slater in the face with a vicious Brogue Kick for the win.

WWE COO Triple H announced a Lumberjack World Heavyweight Championship Match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The night kicked off with  WWE's Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis addressing the WWE Universe about whether WWE COO Triple H is in control. Next, Laurinaitis introduced Mark Henry as the new World Heavyweight Champion. After Henry told the WWE Universe that he plans to hold onto his World Title for a long time, Triple H entered the ring.

But before the COO could  speak, Christian interrupted him and yet again claimed he deserved one more World Title Match. After assuring the WWE Universe that he is indeed in control, Triple H obliged Christian by putting him in a Lumberjack Match against Henry for the World Title. The winner  would defend against Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell.

    Orton responds to Austin's criticism

    Orton responds to Austin's criticism
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 09/23/2011 at 01:03 AM

Steve Austin offered a critical assessment of Randy Orton's character performance during an interview for the latest issue of Power Slam magazine.

When asked to name which wrestlers he believes can evolve into "money-drawing players" for WWE, Austin said of The Viper, "His promos need work, and right now, he's a little one-dimensional. The crowds are digging him, but there's still another step on the ladder for him to climb to."

Orton responded to Austin's remarks this evening on Twitter.

He wrote, "Austin is right, there is still room for me to move up the ladder. And I will. Watch me."

We open the show with a video package looking at the history of the Hulk Hogan-Sting feud over the last year leading into Sting earning a match with Hogan at Bound For Glory by beating Ric Flair last week. We then head to the arena where Sting comes skipping down to the ring with a contract in his hand, and he talks about how he beat Flair and will now get to fight Hogan, who he calls out to the ring. Hogan comes out and says the match isn't going to happen and he isn't medically cleared to wrestle. Sting literally throws himself on the mat and starts kicking his feet while laughing, then plays the video of the time a few weeks ago when Hogan beat Sting senseless with a chair. Hogan is mad he played the footage, but Sting says that's proof that Hogan still has it. Hogan still refuses to wrestle Sting at Bound For Glory, so Sting says to forget Bound For Glory and just fight him right now. Hogan backs off and Eric Bischoff comes out asking Sting who he thinks he's talking to and starts ranting and raving at him, so Sting just turns around and punches him in the face. Sting gets in Hogan's face and says there will be a match at Bound For Glory and there's nothing Hogan can do about it.

Karen Jarreyy is backstage telling Brooke Tessmacher and Mickie James that they're facing off tonight in the Knockouts Challenge, and tells Brooke that she doesn't want to see any of that erotic stripping tonight. She then tells Tracy to cover up her boobs because she's not running a ho house. Frankie Kazarian comes in to lead his wife away and calls Karen a madam who's only worth fifty cents an hour. Karen flips her lid and calls Jeff on her cell phone as we go to commercial.

Jeff Hardy is backstage, and he's...WALKING!

    Time for our opening match...

Knockouts Challenge Opening Round Match: Brooke Tessmacher vs Mickie James

They fight over a wristlock, Mickie takes Tessmacher down with a headlock so Tessmacher drills her with a pair of forearms. Mickie responds with a snapmare into a dropkick, but Tessmacher surprises her again with a victory roll for 2, then knocks Mickie into the corner and grinds her ass into her face. Mickie looks really pissed off, and takes her head off with a pair of clotheslines, then hits a flapjack. One leaping DDT later and Mickie advances.

    Winner: Mickie James

HARDCORE COUNTRY! We go out to the parking lot where Mexican America is talking about getting tattoos. They hop into their lowrider pickup truck and drive off.

Al Snow is backstage telling Jeff Hardy that he respects him apologizing and asking for forgiveness, and he appreciates him making the effort. He tells Jeff not to make the same mistake and to start at the top with his apologies andwork his way down.

X-Division Title Match: Austin Aries vs Jesse Sorensen

Aries easily outwrestles Sorensen to start, and Sorensen starts to fire back but Aries rolls out to the floor and...runs around with a football a fan gave him. Sorensen baseball slides Aries from the inside and then wipes him out with a slingshot dive. Kid Kash comes out, distracting Sorensen as he comes off the top with a flying bodypress for 2. They have a little bit of miscommunication on whatever they tried next, but Sorensen started firing away without slowing down to panic. Sorensen dropkicks Aries as he comes off the second rope, then gets his boot up when Aries tries the IED and Aries rolls out to the floor. Sorensen gets into it with Kid Kash, who shoves the football at him, but Sorensen throws the football at Kash and they go face to face and Aries hits the IED from behind and rolls Sorensen up for 3.

    Winner: Austin Aries

Kash tries to get into the ring to fight Sorensen and has to be held back by the referee. We then go backstage to Ken Anderson and Rob Van Dam, who I think wanted to kill each other a few months ago but are buddies now. They're facing Bully Ray and Jerry Lynn tonight and they can't wait.

We go to the tattoo parlor where Anarquia is getting ink done. The tattoo artist has another appointment, but she'll send another artist over to do the tattoo. Anarquia is scared of needles, so he asks Hernandez to pray with him. Theyh have a nice religious moment, then open their eyes just in time to see Ink Inc attack them. Jesse picks Hernandez up and throws himthrough the artist's table and asks him who the bitch is now, then we go out front where Anarquia gets his ass kicked by Shannon Moore. Anarquia tries to use one of the tattoo girls as a human shield, but she elbows him in the face and Anarquia goes back to getting beat up. They throw him over a chair and push the camera away while they forcibly tattoo him, no doubt with something embarrassing.

Matt Morgan brings Jeff Hardy into a room backstage and closes the door, then says that professionally speaking, he's pissed at Jeff for the frame of mind he showed up in on PPV, but he'd be a hypocrite if he didn't give him one more chance because he's a painkiller addict and he got one more chance. But this is just one last chance, and if Jeff screws this one up, he'll be the first one to hunt him down.

The Mystery Cameraman finds Rob Van Dam backstage where he is laying unconscious in a pile of debris like chairs and table fragments. We then go to Jeff Hardy with Kurt Angle, who says he doesn't want him here and nobody else does. Jeff asks Kurt who he is to judge him, and Kurt says he's an Olympic gold medalist and a 14 time World Champion and tells Jeff to get out of here. Kurt goes to walk off, but Jeff holds him by the arm and says Angle wants him out of here because he's the biggest threat to Angle. Angle blows him off and walks out to the ring where he invites Bobby Roode to join him. Roode comes down the entryway as we go to commercial.

We're back, and Angle congratulates Roode on making it past Frankie Kazarian, but now he's got Christopher Daniels, who took advantage of his friend just a few weeks ago. Roode says he's sacrificed everything for this business, and Angle is the greatest wrestler there ever was, but nothing is going to stop him from winning the World Title at Bound For Glory. The crowd chants "next World Champ" at Roode, but Angle says there may be one man who will stand in his way, his best friend in the business. James Storm comes out and Roode looks like he's wondering what the hell is going on. Roode and Storm go face to face and Storm says he knows Roode is thinking Immortal bought him out, but Roode knows he makes his own damn rules and he's not here to get into it with Roode, he's here to get into it with Angle. Storm says he hopes Angle is a better matchmaker than he is a beer drinker, and he says Angle should make himself against James Storm tonight. Angle asks Storm if he thinks he's going to show Angle up, and Storm says he's going to earn Angle's respect tonight because he helped build this company and it's time to get his recognition. He tells Angle to get his gear on and says he's sorry about Angle's damn luck.

Bully Ray & Jerry Lynn vs Mr Anderson & Nobody

Looks like the doctor in the back wouldn't let RVD wrestle, so Anderson's going it alone. Anderson and Bubba start, but Bubba tags right out to Lynn and Anderson starts beating up both men. Anderson with a Finlay Roll on Lynn and he goes up for the Swanton, but Bubba trips him up from the outside. Lynn chokes Anderson and then tags in Bubba, who comes in now that Anderson is down. Bubba slams Anderson and hits a big splash for 2, then gets a rear chinlock. Lynn tags in and gets a forward roll into an eye poke, then fakes going for Rolling Thunder and just stomps Anderson instead. Anderson starts fighting back against both men, hitting a spinning enziguiri to Bubba for 2. Anderson dumps Lynn to the floor and hits Bubba with the Mic Check and goes for the cover and Lynn pulls him off at 2. Bubba goes to the second rope, Anderson punches him in the nuts and gets him in a fireman's carry, but Lynn runs in and dropkicks Anderson, then distracts thereferee while Bubba nails him with the chain and gets the win.

Winners: Bully Ray & Jerry Lynn

James Storm is backstage saying he's happy for Bobby Roode, but just because he didn't win the Bound For Glory Series doesn't mean he doesn't still have plans to make trouble for Kurt Angle.

Time for our next match...well, wait a minute, Christopher Daniels comes out in his street clothes and says he hates to ruin Kurt Angle's plans, but he won't wrestle Bobby Roode tonight, and it's not because they're both members of Fortune, it's because he has nothing left to prove after he beat AJ Styles a few weeks ago. Roode's a great wrestler, but AJ is a four time World Champion and, after the way he dominated AJ, there's no point bothering with Roode. AJ Styles comes out and he doesn't look happy. AJ asks if this is a joke because Daniels takes jabs at him every time he gets a microphone in his hand. Daniels says not to worry about it, and AJ says he's over it and Daniels needs to get over it. Daniels says he proved that he's the better man, but AJ says that if he keeps bringing AJ's name up, they can have another match. Daniels says they agreed that would be the last time and Daniels has already beaten him, so- well, we never get to hear Daniels finish because AJ slaps the microphone out of his hand. They have words out of earshot for a moment and AJ goes to leave, so Daniels says he didn't know AJ was a sore loser AND a bitch. AJ's finally had enough and goes after Daniels, and security comes running in. They manage to pull them apart, but then AJ leaps over them and goes back after Daniels as we go to commercial.

We're back from commercial and Styles and Daniels are still fighting at ringside after apparently fighting off the entire security team. They fight to the back and into the Direct Auto Insurance office that's set up in the back of the building. They fight back into the ring where Kazarian finally comes in to separate them. Kazarian succeeds in calming both men down, but Daniels kicks AJ square in the nuts as soon as he lowers his guard, then heads to the back as Kazarian tends to AJ.

Kurt Angle is backstage talking about how hard he's been training, and his trainer Scott Steiner says that Angle's the greatest of all time and he's going to kick James Storm's ass.

Before the main event, we go to the locker room where Frankie Kazarian is still trying to reason with Christopher Daniels, who doesn't want to hear it. Daniels is tired of AJ overshadowing him because he's not AJ's +1, and tells Kazarian to talk to AJ because he's done talking. Kazarian goes and finds AJ, who says that's their family member right there. Kazarian says we know what he and Lisa have been through the last three years, but AJ says it's not his fault because Daniels has to run his mouth every time he gets a microphone in his hand. Kazarian says he's trying to be the voice of reason, but this is ridiculous. AJ grabs a trash can and starts to puke in it, and I know there's a joke to be made about TNA booking here, but I'll take the high road.

Instead, we go to Hogan's office where he says he's going to drop a bombshell on Sting next week, then we're off to the ring for our main event...

World Champion Kurt Angle vs James Storm

Angle shoves Storm, so Storm takes Angle down with a double leg takedown and Angle easily outwrestles Storm and forces him to go to the ropes. Angle goes for a boot to the gut, but Storm catches hit foot and clocks him, then takes Angle down with a side headlock. Angle reverses to a facelock and then rocks Storm with a European uppercut, but charges and gets backdropped to the floor. Storm goes out after Angle and rams him into the barricade, then the stairs, but Angle elbows Storm in the ribs and rams him into the steps. Angle with an overhead release suplex that drops Storm onto the entry ramp, and Storm lands with an audible thud. They head back in and try for simultaneous crossbody blocks and both go down. Storm starts firing back with right hands and hits a lungblower for 2. Angle comes out of nowhere with another overhead release suplex for 2, but Storm escapes the Angle Slam, so Angle gets the anklelock instead and Storm tries to kick his way out, but Angle maintains the hold and drags Storm back out to the middle. Storm almost taps, but rolls Angle into a victory roll for 2. Angle charges Storm in the corner and Storm dodges and Angle hits the post, then Storm rolls Angle up for 2. Storm sets up for the Last Call, but Angle blocks and hits the rolling German suplexes. Angle goes for the moonsault, Storm rolls out of the way and hits hard, and Storm heads up top. Angle goes up for the top rope belly to belly, but Storm knocks him off and hits a top rope elbow for a very close 2. Storm goes for the Eye of the Storm, but Angle slips free as Gunner runs out. Storm nails him, and Angle comes frombehind with the Angle Slam and only gets 2. Angle is shocked that Storm survived, and argues with the referee before slapping Storm around. Storm goes for the superkick but Angle moves and Storm knocks the referee out. Storm tries again and hits the superkick this time and covers, but it takes a moment for another referee to come out and make the count and Gunner pulls the second referee out at 2. Gunner lays Storm out with the belt, but Bobby Roode runs in and fights Gunner down, then turns around and surveys the situation, picks up the belt and has a staredown with Angle, and holds the belt high as Beer Money's music hits. Roode drops the belt in front of Angle and then goes to check on Storm as the show comes to a close.

Austin critiques several WWE main eventers

Austin critiques several WWE main eventers
Steve Austin gave his thoughts on several WWE superstars in the new Powerslam magazine...

    On CM PUNK

"Well, I love CM Punk. That guy is already a star, and he's just breathed a much-needed breath of fresh air into the wrestling business," Austin said. "He's been working for over ten years. I'm a big fan of his—love his skills, love his promos."

On WADE BARRETT, DANIEL BRYAN, RANDY ORTON

"Of the other guys, I'm still waiting for Wade Barrett to grab me by the throat and let me know who Wade Barrett is. Daniel Bryan could continue to move up the card," Austin said. "I'm interested to see where Randy Orton goes next. His promos need work, and right now, he's a little one-dimensional. The crowds are digging him, but there's still another step on the ladder for him to climb to.

    ON ALBERTO DEL RIO

"Alberto Del Rio reminds me of Gino Hernandez from the old [Dallas] Sportatorium. [He is] another one who needs to work on his promos-I don't like them worth a shit right now-but he has great ability," said Stone Cold.

"He just needs to add a few pieces to the puzzle."

    ON CHRISTIAN

"Christian is a hell of a performer in the ring, and he's just had a hell of a run. He's recently added a few exclamation points to his work and his promo style-but, again, there's at least one more level for him to step up," he feels.

    ON MARK HENRY

"Mark Henry has finally put the pieces together. His Money in the Bank match with Big Show was not a great match in the ring. But I love the intensity Mark is putting into his work recently. This persona is really an extension of himself: he's a big, mean, strong man, and they are presenting that well."

Another bad week for Smackdown attendance
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 09/21/2011 at 11:48 AM

Fans in attendance at tonight’s Smackdown tapings in Dayton, Ohio have sent word that the entire side of the arena that the WWE cameras are shooting from is completely tarped off. All of the fans are sitting on the side opposite of the camera. This is the second Smackdown taping in recent weeks that have suffered from poor attendance.

Guerrero on Cena Breaking Flair's Title Record
Posted by Steve Carrier on 09/21/2011 at 11:34 AM

John Cena closed in on Ric Flair's record 16 World Title reigns with his victory over Alberto Del Rio Sunday night at Night of Champions. The master of the Five Knuckle Shuffle has now won 12 World titles; the WWE Championship a record 10 times and the World Heavyweight Championship twice.

Cena's latest World Title victory has former WWE Superstar Chavo Guerrero steamed as the third-generation grappler has vowed to stop watching professional wrestling if he breaks Naitch's legendary record.

He stated Monday night on Twitter, "If Cena brakes the great Ric Flair's 16 time champ record, I will never watch wrestling again. I call a boycott of Cena matches if he does!"

Guerrero also asked his Twitter followers, "How many of u are tired of John Cena being champion? Don't get all excited, it's just a question." He wrote moments later, "Wow...it's an overwhelming "tired of Cena" response! It's not me, it's all the fans. I could literally retweet hundreds of tired responses!"

Guerrero continued, "Now, my opinion...Cena is better than me on the mike, but I could out wrestle Cena with my eyes closed and 1 hand tied behind my back! Truth!

"Some are saying that Cena is a great athlete. Really? C'mon. Are u blind? I know Cena & I could beat him in any sport except weight lifting!

"Golf, basketball, bowling, a race, tennis, horseshoes, hitting a baseball pitch, catching a football...anything!!!!

"Lol...some1 just said Cena is a better athlete than Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior! Lol are u retarded? No offense to a challenge person."

Yoshi Tatsu Discusses His New Look & Darker Style

Yoshi Tatsu Discusses His New Look & Darker Style
Posted by Steve Carrier on 09/21/2011 at 10:48 AM

    - WWE's website has a new storyline interview up with SmackDown Superstar Yoshi Tatsu. Here are a few highlights:

    His new dark side:
"The Japanese wrestling style is different. I think everyone knows this. It’s aggressive. I needed to show Japanese culture, Japanese pride and the Japanese style of wrestling, too. I am sure my wrestling has changed."

    His new look:
"This is like The Great Muta. When I saw The Great Muta wrestling, I wanted to be a wrestler. It’s a tribute. But I am not Muta, I am Yoshi, I don’t want to cover the whole face. It’s my own style. But my inspiration is The Great Muta. I want to be the top in Japan and the United States," Tatsu said. "I want to be the most famous Japanese wrestler in the world."

Reby Sky speaks out about Matt/Jeff

Reby Sky speaks out about Matt/Jeff
Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 09/22/2011 at 02:18 PM

Reby Sky, who is dating Matt Hardy, was interviewed by her former radio show "Busted Open" on Sirius XM radio and here are the highlights…

Reby on Matt Hardy's online videos: "Before he posts every video I give him a talk, and I don't want to feel like his mother or babysitter or council, but I say Matt maybe this isn't a good idea. I tell him what I think about it, why I think that way, and he will either take it and say "okay, maybe not" or he will put it up anyway. He's going to do what he's going to do. He's a very strong personality, and obviously that has gotten him to where he's at now, that's part of it. He does have a good formula, he takes it a little too far sometimes and gets a little caught up in the attention, but I think now he's going to be a little smarter about what he posts."

Reby on the rumors that she led police to Matt's drugs: "It's just so frustrating, because they just released something that was completely not what I said. It's pretty clear that Matt's been needing help, and the other day he was in a bad way and I called for help. Cops came, and all these reports are saying that I led them to some secret cave that contained prescription pills. They never found any prescription pills at all in the house, what they found was steroids. After having to go to the police station to sign all these papers, I come back to my house upside down, there is 5 men in my kitchen and I am being interrogated. Everything that they needed to find was already found. So it is just a whole bunch of hate mail: Reby you snitch, you're a rat. At the end of the day I just wanted Matt to get help, I called for Matt to get help, and guess what? He left this morning for WWE sponsored rehab. He is getting help."

Reby on the Jeff Hardy taser incident: "I have to laugh, because I guess just being in it, it was done for a project called the Hardy show, which you can find at thehardyshow.com. It's a variety show with skits, and parodies and stuff like that, it's kind of like a Jackass program. That was filmed for part of a Hardy show episode. And I guess with all the Jeff stuff that was going on at the time, and the way it was spun, it was in retrospect maybe not the best idea for people who aren't aware of the Hardy show and the content that is on there. But like I said, from now on everyone is going to be a lot more careful with anything video wise or Twitter or anything going up on the net."

Reby on Matt Hardy returning to the ring: "A full time wrestling schedule is definitely not in the picture from now on. If you ask him, that's what he will say led to this whole thing, the full time wrestling schedule and the toll on his body and the sacrifices he had to make. Not that I am justifying anything he has done, because I am definitely not. I will say it over and over I don't support what he has done but I will support him in bettering himself."

Reby on Jeff's return to the ring: "The whole thing with Jeff, we try not to talk about it to not make Matt feel bad, but everyone is very supportive of Jeff and very happy for him. It's good that there is someone in the group doing good things, I don't know how to say it. Jeff is completely 180, just a real standup guy and has been so supportive in trying to help Matt in getting things right. So thank God that he is right next to us, thank God for Jeff."

Reby Sky Says She Was Coerced By Police

Reby Sky Says She Was Coerced By Police
Posted by Steve Carrier on 09/21/2011 at 11:33 AM

Matt Hardy's girlfriend, Reby Sky, claims North Carolina police coerced her into providing evidence against Hardy in order to arrest him last Wednesday.

The 25-year-old model tells TMZ officers "intimidated" and "threatened her" to in order to gain information on Hardy's collection of prescription drugs after he was rushed to the hospital for an "adverse drug reaction." Sky's information to police was enough to obtain a search warrant, which led to Hardy's arrest.

Police raided Hardy's home when he was not home. Sky returned home from the hospital to find police at his house after conducting a raid. She says they "threatened her with jail" if she did not provide more information following the investigation. Sky then showed officers Hardy's "secret safe" containing prescription painkillers.

Sky, who called 911 because Hardy was "strung out on drugs," tells TMZ she would have kept her mouth shut at the station if she knew police were accumulating evidence for the warrant -- adding, she "would never do anything to put [Matt] in a compromising position with the law."

Ric Flair's Requires Surgery After His Match Against Sting

The Charleston Post Courier is reporting that Ric Flair has now been diagnosed with a torn tricep and will be required to undergo surgery next week. Following surgery Flair will have to go through physical therapy and could be out of action for 4-6 months.

Flair was originally diagnosed with a broken bursa sack in his elbow but when swelling and pain didn't subside, he was diagnosed with the tear. Flair suffered the injury taking a superplex from Sting on the Impact Wrestling episode that aired last Thursday.
