Update on The Rock wrestling at Survivor Series Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 09/14/2011 at 06:39 PM

According to Bryan Alvarez, WWE officials are reportedly trying very hard to get The Rock to wrestle at the Survivor Series pay-per-view.
The original idea was for him to appear and do an angle but not wrestle until the match with John Cena at WrestleMania 28 but now they want him to wrestle in November. As noted before, there has also been discussion of doing a best of 3 series between the two.
Whether or not The Rock should wrestle or not at Survivor Series was a controversial topic of discussion within WWE this past week.
According to a source, Matt Hardy was arrested for another DWI earlier this week. He is scheduled to appear in court on November 30.
Police officials in Raleigh, North Carolina have confirmed Hardy's latest arrest.
This is a SEPARATE DWI from his recent incident in Moore County, North Carolina.
"For the first time in my life, I was framed.. 0, 0, and O.. I'm truly appalled. This will not go down without a fight! Looks like I've got a bull's eye on my head.", Hardy tweeted on Monday.
TNA star Hulk Hogan posted the following message on his Official Twitter Page teasing a major announcement at the upcoming Impact Wrestling tapings tonight.
Quote
Got a huge announcement tonight at the IMPACT Tapings. HH
-It's time for the twenty-eighth week of NXT Redemption! The opening titles roll, and commentators Jack Korpela and William Regal welcome us from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
-Matt Striker is in the ring with a mic. He welcomes us to NXT Redemption. He said he'd normally be setting up a challenge, but what happened last night between William Regal, Darren Young, and NXT is really bothering him. He calls JTG and Young goons before JTG and Young interrupt.
-JTG says that hockey isn't even a real sport, which the crowd boos. Regal gets in the ring to even the confrontation out. JTG and Young get in the ring and face off against the two. JTG asks Striker if he really thinks Regal is better than him, which Striker says "Yes!" to. Regal chants start from the crowd. Regal asks Young and Striker to translate what JTG has been saying, since he couldn't understand a single word. JTG says that kind of disrespect is what he's been talking about. Darren says he keeps hearing that he doesn't respect the pros and superstars, but really, the past doesn't respect the future, No Days Off D-Young. Regal says he's been told that his body isn't in top shape, and he agrees with that, but when Young and JTG say he's washed up, that gets his attention. He asks how they'd feel if a washed up old man beat them half to death. Darren and JTG say that this match is happening tonight. Regal ends the promo by saying that the two of them need to remember that he's "Straight up gangsta trippin'!" and he and Striker run them out of the ring. Striker and Regal pose like gangstas as Young and JTG retreat up the ramp.

-Derrick Bateman's music hits and out come Tyson Kidd and Bateman for some tag team action. Titus O'Neil has his own tron and music as he and Percy Watson make their way to the ring. Hornswoggle is conspicuously absent, and he (and the other pros) was removed from the intro.
Match #1: Titus O'Neil & Percy Watson vs. Derrick Bateman & Tyson Kidd
-Percy and Bateman start out in the ring. Percy applies a headlock, hits the ropes, and takes Bateman down with a shoulder block. Percy then hits a dropkick for a two-count. He tags in Titus and the team hits a double shoulder block. Bateman rolls to his corner and tags in Kidd. Kidd starts to kick away at Titus' quads, but Titus hits yet another shoulder block on Tyson. He pushes Kidd into the face corner, punches him a few times, and tags in Percy. Percy hits an enzuigiri as Titus holds Tyson in place. Percy hits the ropes, but Bateman tries to trip him up. Percy yells at him between the ropes, and Tyson takes advantage, landing a kick on Percy, sending him to the outside. Bateman then jumps from the apron, hitting a diving dropkick on Percy. Percy is sent back into the ring and Bateman is tagged in. Bateman slams Percy's head into the corner and Kidd is tagged back in. Tyson stomps away at Percy and chokes him on the bottom rope. Tyson hits a snapmare and kicks Percy's back. A front headlock from Tyson is applied and he drags him to the heel corner. Bateman tags Tyson's back, and Percy is able to break away from him. Percy hits the ropes but runs into a clothesline from Bateman. Bateman applies a chinlock, and modifies it into a neckbreaker for a one-count. Bateman tags in Kidd and holds Percy in a camel clutch. Kidd runs the ropes and lands a low dropkick on Percy's face for a near-fall. Tyson goes to the second rope and goes for a dropkick, but Percy hits a dropkick of his own on Tyson in mid-air. Percy gets the hot tag to Titus, as does Kidd. Titus levels Bateman repeatedly with clotheslines and shoulder blocks before hitting a scoop slam. A pin attempt is broken up by Kidd. Percy gets involved as well, clotheslining Kidd and himself out of the ring. Bateman tries to take control with a few clubbing blows to Titus' back, but Titus quickly pushes Bateman into the ropes and hits Clash of the Titus for the three-count.
Winners: Titus O'Neil & Percy Watson

-AJ is on the phone backstage. She's leaving a voicemail for Hornswoggle, who hasn't been answering the phone and is nowhere to be found. Maxine comes up and AJ asks where Hornswoggle is. Maxine says that Hornswoggle's been with the Bella Twins in Palm Springs. AJ calls Maxine a liar, but Maxine holds up a picture, to AJ's surprise. AJ says she doesn't believe it and storms off. Maxine says to herself "Photoshop is great."
-Commercial
-AJ's music hits and she comes out alone, slightly less peppy than usual. The whereabouts of Hornswoggle are discussed by the commentators. Maxine comes out alone as well.
Match #2: Maxine vs. AJ
-They yell at each other before locking up Maxine forces AJ into the corner and yells "Where's your boyfriend, huh?!" AJ pushes her down and hits a low dropkick. Maxine falls back into the corner and AJ hits a monkey flip for a two-count. Maxine whips AJ and hits an atomic drop before slamming her down by her hair and slamming her face into the second turnbuckle. Maxine then wrenches AJ's head back before choking her on the second rope. Maxine slams AJ down by the hair again and goes back to wrenching AJ's head back. Maxine switches it to a rear chinlock as she talks more trash to AJ and slams knees into her back. AJ slowly gets to her feet, but Maxine slams her back down for a quick two-count. Maxine whips AJ and hits a big boot for another two-count. Maxine then pushes AJ into the corner and chokes her with her leg. Maxine pulls AJ out to the middle of the ring and hits a neckbreaker, gets a two-count, and reapplies the chinlock. AJ is whipped into the corner and Maxine charges, but AJ gets her feet up. AJ goes to the second rope and hits a cross-body for a near-fall. AJ hits a clothesline and a big spinning wheel kick on Maxine for a two-count. Maxine gets AJ up on her shoulders, but AJ grabs the top rope. Maxine drops her neck-first onto the rope. Maxine picks up AJ and hits what could be describes as a reverse backpack stunner for the win.
Winner: Maxine
-Titus comes out to check on AJ as Maxine celebrates on the outside.

-Before the main event begins, Michael Cole makes his way to the commentary booth in place of William Regal. Oh good, I get to cover Cole commentating.
Match #3: William Regal & Matt Striker vs. Darren Young & JTG
-Regal and JTG start out in the ring. Regal goes for a handshake, but JTG won't comply, as a Regal chant starts. Cole already won't shut up, burying the show. Regal tosses JTG to the outside and sets Young up in Shattered Dreams position. Striker gets in the ring and helps Regal pick up JTG, who just got back in the ring. They use JTG's head as a battering ram, hitting Young where it hurts.
-Commercial
-Regal has Darren in the corner. Darren fights out and they trade European uppercuts. I'm so tempted to mute this match already, as Cole just won't stop burying this show and everyone involved. Regal forces Striker into the face corner and Striker is tagged back in. Striker hits a number of knees to Darren's head. Darren fights away and whips Striker, and while the referee is distracted, JTG kicks Striker in the back. Darren tags in JTG and hits a scoop slam on Striker. JTG hits some mounted punches on Striker and applies a chinlock. Jack Korpela is doing his best to act impartial and call the match, but Cole is being all too overbearing. JTG hits a short-arm clothesline on Striker for a two-count, before going back to a chinlock. Striker slowly gets to his feet and attempts a school boy, but JTG kicks out and hits a running knee to Striker's torso. Young is tagged in and gets Striker on the apron, before hitting a leg drop on Striker. Young rolls back into the ring and wrenches Striker's head back. Regal's calling for a hot tag as Young drags Striker away from his own corner and JTG tags in. Striker gets a quick punch to JTG's face, but JTG clubs Striker's back and applies a surfboard stretch. Striker gets to his feet and hits a jawbreaker. Both men get the tag and Regal hits an exploder suplex on Young. He forces Young into the corner and JTG tries to get involved, so Regal hits a flapjack. Young is down in the corner, so Regal tags in Striker. Striker hits the ropes and hits a big boot on Young. Striker hits the ropes again and hits a running face wash on Young in the corner. The pin attempt is broken up by JTG. Regal takes care of the interference, tossing JTG to the outside. Striker goes for what looks to be a backstabber, but Darren grabs the rope, staying on his feet. JTG slams Regal's head against the ring steps. Darren gets Striker from the ground straight to his shoulders and hits his stomachbreaker finisher to win the match.
Winners: Darren Young & JTG
-Darren Young and JTG celebrate in the ring, but Jimmy and Jey Uso come out and clear both men out of the ring. The Usos celebrate while Young and JTG reel at the bottom of the ramp to end this episode of NXT Redemption. Thanks for reading.

WWE Raw SuperShow: Punk explodes on The Game
By: Greg Adkins September 12, 2011 Tags: WWE Raw SuperShow: September 12, 2011 OTTAWA, Ontario - CM Punk's "pipe bomb" may have been defused just six days before Night of Champions, but the situation between he and his opponent, Triple H, has grown more explosive than ever.
Triple H and CM Punk faced off before Night of Champions (WATCH |PHOTOS) Technical difficulties, audio problems, microphone malfunctions. Whatever you call it, CM Punk couldnt seem to get a word in edgewise as he and Triple H engaged in a combustible verbal confrontation. The Second City Saviors microphone suddenly shorted out just as he was about to express something hed been dying to say to The Game. The scenario was reminiscent of Punks now famous diatribe against Triple H, Mr. McMahon and WWE when his mic also quit in the run up to SummerSlam.
A livid Punk cast his suspicions on WWEs Chief Operating Officer, who had a working microphone in his hand. After watching one mic go belly up, The Game offered The Second City Savior his mic. Just as he revved up his verbal engine, though you guessed it the second mic failed on him as well. Triple H summoned a third mic from ringside and handed it over. Punk, however, used it to clobber The King of Kings before leaving the ring. While WWEs COO seethed inside the square circle, his antiestablishment rival scowled back at him from the entrance ramp. The very personal animus between Punk and Triple H, who must resign as COO if he loses Sunday, is primed to blow in a No Disqualification Match at Night of Champions.
Hugh Jackman to appear as special guest star on the WWE Raw Supershow next week (WATCH | WWE.COM EXCLUSIVE: SNEAK PEEK) Hes one of the biggest movie stars on the planet, and next week Hugh Jackman will debut in one of his most exciting roles to date as special guest star on the WWE Raw Supershow. The star of the upcoming sci-fi action film Real Steel, Jackman will get the party started just one day after Night of Champions.
Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes def. World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton in a Non-title Match (WATCH | PHOTOS) World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton has seen better days. The Viper entered into a rematch with Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes hoping to gain momentum going into Night of Champions. Instead, any drive Orton may have felt came to an alarming halt. As he battled Rhodes in the non-title match, his Night of Champions opponent, Mark Henry, pulled up a chair and watched from atop the entrance ramp. During the bout, though, The Worlds Strongest Man began an ominous walk toward the ring. As the frightening figure drew closer, Orton took his eyes off the Intercontinental Champion, who cracked him in the skull with his face mask, causing The Viper to flatten on the canvas.
After Rhodes victory, Henry stalked into the ring and drove the steel chair upon which he was sitting onto Ortons back. He then snatched the World Heavyweight Champions title and held it aloft, vowing to capture it from Orton this Sunday.
Divas Champion Kelly Kelly def. Vickie Guerrero (WATCH | PHOTOS) U.S. Champion Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger could use a timeout. The petulant pair clashed as Dolph stood at ringside to support manager Vickie Guerrero in her match against Divas Champion Kelly Kelly. Unfortunately for Vickie, Swagger ran down and smacked his blond rival, distracting WWEs resident cougar. As a result, the Divas Champion made easy work of her rival.
After the chaos cleared, Beth Phoenix marched to the ring and attempted to level an unsuspecting Kelly. The Divas Champion, however, nailed her Night of Champions adversary before she could attack.
John Cena & Bret Hart def. WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio & Ricardo Rodriguez (WATCH | PHOTOS) WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio may be gutless, but hes not senseless. As he and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez faced off against John Cena & Bret Hart in a tag team match, The Mexican Aristocrat tucked tail and ran. Six days before facing Cena at Night of Champions, Del Rio tagged in Ricardo, who had entered the ring for his first-ever match, and scampered up the entrance ramp. Meanwhile, his hapless lackey suffered both an Attitude Adjustment and a painful Sharpshooter on his way to a team loss.
Jerry Lawler & Sheamus def. Michael McGillicutty & David Otunga (WATCH | PHOTOS) Since their defeat last week at the hands of Jerry The King Lawler & Zack Ryder, Michael McGillicutty & David Otunga have been eager for their rematch. That fervor turned to frustration after learning that Long Island Iced-Z could not compete thanks to Mark Henry, who rocked him on SmackDown. Instead, Lawler recruited someone less tan but a lot more intimidating: The Celtic Warrior. McGillicutty & Otunga were none too pleased when Sheamus emerged for the match and with good reason. The ferocious Irishman dominated the former WWE Tag Team Champions, helping secure the win for himself and Lawler.
The Miz def. WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston (WATCH | PHOTOS) The conspiracy continues at least in the warped minds of R-Truth and The Miz. The two continued to vent about the supposed mistreatment theyve received at the hands of WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H just before Miz entered the ring to tackle WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston. With just six days until they and their respective partners square off at Night of Champions, The Cleveland Screamer and the leader of the Boom Squad hit the mat for an intense bout. As the other half of Air Boom, Evan Bourne, and his squirrely counterpart, Truth, looked on from ringside, Miz conquered Kofi when he hit the Skull Crushing Finale, putting the champions on notice for Sunday.
John Morrison & Alex Riley def. U.S. Champion Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger (WATCH | PHOTOS) Vickie Guerrero has her hands full. In addition to United States Champion Dolph Ziggler, WWEs resident cougar has recently been eyeing Jack Swagger as a client as well. Unfortunately for her, the two dont play well with others. When they were teamed in a tag match against John Morrison & Alex Riley, the mistrust and jealousy was apparent. As they quarreled with each other, A-Ry & JoMo were quick to take advantage and nail down a win.
Later in the evening, an irate Vickie screeched as SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long informed her that Ziggler must defend his title in a Fatal 4-Way Match at Night of Champions against Swagger, Morrison and Riley.
WWE COO Triple H arranged tag team match (WATCH) WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio is fond of referring to himself as the greatest of the great, but as everyone knows, actions speak louder than words. So when The Mexican Aristocrat began gushing about himself, yet again, WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart decided to mercifully intervene. On behalf of his fellow Canadians, Hit Man informed Del Rio that a true champion fights his own battles and doesnt take advantage of an injured man. When Del Rio threatened Hart, his Night of Champions opponent, John Cena, thwarted his bravado. The moneyed Mexican then decided to arranged a match pitting Cena against Ricardo Rodriguez! The Cenation Commander-in-Chief then insisted Del Rio compete against Hart.
Before the situation devolved into chaos, Mr. John Laurinaitis intervened. The Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, on behalf of Triple H, arranged a tag team match pitting WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio & Ricardo Rodriguez against John Cena & Bret Hart.
Not only that, later in the night, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton will also take on Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes and Triple H will face off one last volatile time with CM Punk before their No Disqualification Match at Night of Champion.

John Laurinaitis issues a statement Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 09/10/2011 at 10:46 AM
WWEs website has a new storyline article up looking at why John Laurinaitis was in the limousine with Kevin Nash on Mondays RAW Supershow. Laurinaitis issued the following statement to WWEs website:
Kevin Nash is a friend of mine. We have a long history and Im the one who hired him. I think the circumstances of Kevins firing are unfortunate, but ultimately, I dont make the rules around here. [WWE Chief Operating Officer] Triple H does. Gunner rips into internet wrestling fans Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 09/12/2011 at 12:26 PM
Gunner posted the following message on Twitter in response to criticism from fans:
"Amazing job from all Impact talent tonite! No Surrender was a success! SUCK IT DIRT SHEETS AND FAT COMPUTER MARKS AT HOME. Bobby Roode is one heck of a wrestler! Upset I lost tonite in the final 4 but my chances will rise again! I will claw my way back."
As we mentioned earlier, Former TNA wrestler Judas Mesias made his intentions clear that he wanted to face Sting's at the upcoming AAA pay per view. His wish has come true. He will be facing Sting in the upcoming Heroes Inmortales pay per view event.
Some websites have been reporting that TNA tag team The British Invasion are set to appear in AAA. This is not true at all. Only Magnus is scheduled to appear.
Abyss has been confirmed for the Heroes Inmortales pay per view
The following backstage segments were aired during AAA television hyping up both Sting, Abyss, Magnus and the upcoming pay per view. The videos contain racially charged words against certain hispanics ethnicities. Very strange that they would do this considering Konnan previously sued TNA citing racial discrimination. The both videos are in full english with spanish subtitles.

The other three in the series would require a submission victory to pass Bully Ray if he lost. Bully Ray won by Disqualification and brought him to 52 pts. requiring the winner of the other BFG Series match to win by submission in order to tie with Bully Ray and stay alive in the series. The battle between Bobby Roode and Gunner resulted in Roode getting the submission victory and bringing him to 52 pts tying with Bully Ray. In the newly added match, Bobby Roode defeated Bully Ray making him the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Title at Bound for Glory in Philadelphia. Results from the No Surrender Pay-Per-View
-#1 Contender's Match: In a very exciting and fast paced match Jesse Sorensen defeated Kid Kash to obtain the #1 contendership for the X-Division Title.
-Bound for Glory Series: Ray did everything he could prevent the match from beginning. Storm continuously tried to gain the submission victory throughout and at one point Ray spit beer into the eyes of storm to temporarily blind him. After an intense match, Storm attempted to spit beer in his Rays face but instead spit in the referees face, which resulted in a disqualification win for Bully Ray (3 pts) putting him in First Place at 52 points and completely eliminating James Storm.
- Knockouts Championship: Winter defeated Mickie James to become the new Knockouts Champion! -X Division Championship: Austin Aries dominated at the start of the match but Brian Kendrick would not back down and caused Aries to dive face first from the ring into the guardrail. After a very physical match Aries took out Kendrick with a brain buster that allowed for him to get the pin and become the new X Division Champion.
-Bound For Glory Series: (Newly added Match) Bully Ray used the same tactics he utilized early in the night with controlling the pace at the start of the match by going in and out of the ring. Roode seemed to be unaffected by Bully Rays chops and made his distaste for Bully Ray known which mentally got to Ray. Mind games continued between the two throughout the match. After Roode dropped a massive Spinebuster on Ray, Roode got the pin to become the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title.
-World Heavyweight Championship: At the beginning of the match Anderson and Sting worked together to take apart Angle. With Angle out of the ring Sting and Anderson faced off. Angle came to and took out Anderson outside of the ring and went to face off with Sting until Anderson returned and it became every man for himself. World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton def. Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes (WATCH | PHOTOS) Once former Legacy allies, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes went to war in the nights main event. After countering the Cross Rhodes, Orton went on to drop the masked Superstar with an RKO for the win. But the action was far from over.
Similar to the close of last week's Steel Cage Match, the massive Mark Henry had Orton in his sights. This time, though, Orton decided to strike first. But The Worlds Strongest Man quickly fired back, driving Orton to the canvas with two Worlds Strongest Slams. Then after grabbing a steel chair, the No. 1 contender perched above the champion with his title in hand and Ortons throat preciously positioned under the chair. With the champion gasping for air, Henry clearly proved his dominance. But instead of inflicting more damage including breaking Orton's leg Henry said his main objective is the World Title. At Night of Champions, can he accomplish his ultimate goal? (PREVIEW)
WWE Tag Team Champions Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston def. Even more flustered, Mahal shouted at The Punjabi Giant as he simply sauntered away from the ring.
Sheamus def. Wade Barrett by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS) As Sheamus and Wade Barrett went toe-to-toe in a cutthroat bout, Christian came calling. His sneak attack on Sheamus resulted in an immediate disqualification. Then before he knew it, Sheamus found himself the victim of a 2-on-1 onslaught. But The Celtic Warrior battled back, dropping Barrett with a Brogue Kick. Christian appeared to be heading for a similar brutal end, but managed to escape the Celtic Cross and run from the ring. Sheamus drove Christian out of the ring (PHOTOS) Give him credit. Christian just wont give up. After he rattled off his latest list of complaints and declared he deserves one more World Heavyweight Championship Match, Sheamus interrupted. Divas Champion Kelly Kelly def. Natalya (WATCH | PHOTOS) From the start, Natalya looked well on her way to victory over Divas Champion Kelly Kelly. But, the champion managed to counter a Sharpshooter and wrap up the Diva of Doom with small package for win. Sin Cara def. Tyson Kidd (WATCH | PHOTOS) Displaying his continued aggressive style, Sin Cara got the pinfall over Tyson Kidd using a combination of athletic maneuvers off the ropes. When prompted by Josh Mathews for comments after the win, Sin Cara uttered his first words in WWE: Ever since I started here in the WWE, I've held back out of respect for the other people. Now that I'm here ... nobodys gonna stop me this style and this aggression, it's me... the real Sin Cara.
After Sin Caras words, Mr. Money in the Bank Daniel Byran came to the ring looking for some retribution for being kicked in the head last week by the international sensation. More On The Jeff Hardy Drug Trial Verdict, What Led To His Arrest And More
As we previously reported, Jeff Hardy pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and one count of conspiracy to traffic in a substance containing opium.
Fayobserver.com is reporting the details that led to the arrest of Hardy back in 2009 just days after he finished his contractual obligations with the WWE. The raid on Hardy's house came after employees at the local Fayetteville FedEx distribution center contacted police about a suspicious package.
The package was sent to Hardy by a person labeled as "a fan in Florida," and contained a coffee can that was filled with 262 prescription hydrocodone painkillers. The story states that police resealed the package and had it delivered to Hardy's home, and the police raided the home when he accepted the package and found other drugs.
The report also notes that Jeff Hardy will indeed be required to go into a drug treatment facility.
the Southern Pines Pilot newspaper is reporting that Hardy's 10 days in jail will be arraged for a future date with Hardy's probation officer. Hardy was sentenced to ten days in jail and avoided an extended prison sentence as part of the agreement. Many assumed he would simply do the jail time immediately upon sentencing. One of the terms of the plea agreement pushed by Hardy's attorney was for Hardy to be permitted to travel out of the state in order to continue his work with TNA. Hardy has promised to the pilot newspaper an interview at a later date.
