    Raw results: Executive decision
By: Ryan Murphy August 2, 2011
Tags: Raw: August 1, 2011, CM Punk, John Cena
INDIANAPOLIS — In his first days as WWE’s Chief Operating Officer, Triple H was faced with one of the most complex problems in the company’s storied history — who is the real WWE Champion? Is it CM Punk — the Superstar who beat John Cena for the title at WWE Money in the Bank before leaving the company, only to return a week later with the championship in hand? Or is it Cena — the man who defeated Rey Mysterio for the WWE Title on the same night the masked Superstar won a tournament for the supposedly vacant championship? After considering both cases for some time, The Game finally hit upon a vital fact — the most important choices aren’t made in a boardroom, they’re decided in the ring.

Triple H resolved the WWE Championship situation (WATCH | PHOTOS)
For the first time in WWE history, there are two legitimate WWE Champions, but which man is the real title holder? That was the question Triple H tangled with tonight as John Cena and CM Punk pressed the COO for a decision.

It was a tough judgment for The Game, but before he could reveal his solution, he was interrupted by WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis. A longtime associate of Mr. McMahon, the executive made his feelings on the matter clear — strip John Cena of the title.

Unsurprisingly, Mr. Laurinaitis’ words brought an irate John Cena forth. Verbally berating the executive, The Champ claimed Laurinaitis wanted him stripped of the title, because Cena laid him out at WWE Money in the Bank. Cena then threatened to harm Mr. Laurinaitis again, leading the VP to leave the ring as fast as his feet could carry him.

Now alone with Cena, Triple H informed The Champ that he would not strip him of the WWE Championship. Hearing that, CM Punk immediately hit the ring, prepared to state his case to the COO.

As the two champions began to argue, The Game laid it out like this — at SummerSlam, John Cena and CM Punk will meet in the first ever WWE Champion vs. WWE Champion Match. The Superstar that walks away victorious will be the Undisputed WWE Champion. End of story.

Alberto Del Rio def. Evan Bourne (WATCH | PHOTOS)
He has enormous wealth, fancy cars and the Money in the Bank briefcase, but Alberto Del Rio still operates like a man with something to prove. Why else would The Mexican Aristocrat apply a bone snapping armbar to Evan Bourne long after he defeated the high-flyer in the ring? Looking to send a message to the locker room, the arrogant Superstar nearly broke Bourne’s arm until Kofi Kingston stormed the ring and chased Del Rio — and his lackey Ricardo Rodriguez — out of the arena.

WWE Tag Team Champions David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty def. Santino Marella & Zack Ryder (WATCH | PHOTOS)
A week after internet sensation Zack Ryder was handpicked by Triple H to put Michael Cole in his place on Raw, Long Island Iced-Z took a few lumps of his own. Rallying against David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty early in the bout, Ryder eventually lost the contest for his team, bringing an abrupt end to his winning streak. Woe. Woe. Woe. You know it.

Alex Riley confronted United States Champion Dolph Ziggler & Vickie Guerrero (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Tonight, Alex Riley gave Dolph Ziggler some invaluable career advice whether the bleached blond wanted it or not. In the middle of another one of Vickie Guerrero’s annoying rants about the presumed greatness of the United States Champion, A-Ry thankfully interrupted and announced that Ziggler had spent too much time hiding behind the loudmouthed lady and needed to prove himself on his own.

Infuriated, Ziggler nearly attacked Riley, but slid out of the ring instead and stormed away with Vickie by his side.

The Miz & R-Truth def. Rey Mysterio & John Morrison (WATCH | PHOTOS)
After spending three months on the sidelines due to a brutal attack from R-Truth, John Morrison was finally able to face his rival in the ring tonight, but he didn’t come alone. Teaming with Rey Mysterio — the Superstar who beat The Miz for the vacant WWE Title before losing it to John Cena last Monday night — JoMo showed little sign of ring rust, but he still wasn’t ready for his underhanded opponents. Losing to Truth, Morrison then fell victim to both The Awesome One’s Skull Crushing Finale and a water bottle to the side of the head from the conspiracy-obsessed Superstar.

Beth Phoenix won a No. 1 Contender’s Diva Battle Royal (WATCH | PHOTOS)
She’s long been touted as WWE’s most powerful Diva, so the WWE Universe was not surprised when Beth Phoenix triumphed over the ladies of Raw and SmackDown to earn a Divas Title Match against Kelly Kelly at SummerSlam. It’s what happened next that shocked everyone.

Entering the ring to congratulate the winner, the Divas Champion gave Beth a big hug in a refreshing moment of good sportsmanship. In return, The Glamazon unexpectedly attacked the beautiful competitor, brutally tossing her out of the ring before shouting, “Your days as the perky, cute, little bimbo are over!”

Clearly, things between these two Divas just got personal.

Triple H and a re-signed CM Punk exchanged heated words (WATCH: PART 1 | PART 2 | PHOTOS)
Following last week’s scandalous return to WWE, the always contentious CM Punk kicked off tonight’s Raw by inciting more controversy. Stating that he re-signed with WWE because he wanted to bring about change, The Straight Edge Superstar proclaimed himself the one and only WWE Champion, which drew out WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H. Taking issue with the arrogant Superstar’s words, The Game said he re-signed Punk because it was good for business even though he personally found him smug and overrated. As tensions mounted between the two, Triple H made it clear that both Punk and John Cena are legitimate champions to which the overconfident Punk shot back that there can only be one title holder. The Game did not debate this point and promised to rectify the situation tonight.

Maria on Why CM Punk Resonates with Fans

Maria on Why CM Punk Resonates with Fans

Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis appeared on Monday Night Mayhem, which airs every Monday at 7:00 p.m. via MondayNightMayhem.com. Highlights from her interview are as follows:

The importance of giving back to the Make-A-Wish Foundation as part of her return to Nashville for Crossfire Entertainment's benefit event on August 20th: How excited in Maria for the event in Nashville, Tennessee coming up on Saturday August 20th: "I'm so excited to do it, because I always enjoyed doing the Make-A-Wish Foundation events. I did it when I was on 'Celebrity Apprentice, and I made some money for them when I was there. It's just an incredible foundation. I'm excited for the event."

What she feels has been her key to success since leaving the WWE and succeeding in areas that others have failed: "I'm hungry for knowledge. I'm hungry for success. I'm hungry for what comes next. Once you lose that hunger, it's when you fall short and you go stale. Maybe it's not the easiest thing in the world. I tried music, and I love music. I love to write, but maybe that's not for me. I'm going to keep going with it and see what happens. But at the same time, I'm doing that. I'm doing something different everyday."

Why she believes that CM Punk resonates with today's fans and why now is "The Era of Punk": "I think Punk is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, in wrestling right now and for a while now. I love The Rock, and I love 'Stone Cold,' but right now is 'The Era of Punk.' He's incredible. I'm so happy for him to be doing exactly what he enjoys doing, and that's to be honest and to be straight edge. I think it's incredible for him. Punk does not care about the show. He does not care the pyro, and the fanfare, and 'Let me put on a fancy suit and let me look perfect everywhere I go.' What he cares about is wrestling. He cares about the wrestling business. He wants integrity in the wrestling business, and that is why it resonates with the fans. A lot of people care about the fanfare of it all, but they forgot what is wrestling is truly about."

    SmackDown results: Truth and Consequences
By: Michael Burdick July 29, 2011
    Tags: SmackDown: July 29, 2011
PHILADELPHIA – As Chief Operating Officer Triple H asserted his new WWE regime with a powerful visit to SmackDown, Randy Orton showed World Heavyweight Champion Christian why their SummerSlam No Holds Barred Match will truly be an excruciating showdown (match preview).

R-Truth def. Randy Orton by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS)
When the observing World Heavyweight Champion Christian jumped up on the ring apron to disrupt SmackDown’s main event, R-Truth used the distraction to hit Randy Orton with a water bottle. This infuriated WWE’s Apex Predator, who attacked his opponent with a chair and forced the referee to call for the bell.

Despite the fact that he had lost the match by disqualification, The Viper sent a powerful message to both R-Truth and his lurking SummerSlam opponent. After hitting R-Truth with a monitor, Orton blasted him with an RKO onto the announce table, not once but twice.

Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase def. Intercontinental Champion Ezekiel Jackson in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Ezekiel Jackson showed the courage and determination of a true Intercontinental Champion, taking on both Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase – at the urging of the newly appointed Assistant to the SmackDown Manager, Zack Ryder (watch). But, when The Personification of Domination slammed his shoulder into the steel ring post, the bitter Rhodes took advantage, triumphing over his prey with the Cross Rhodes.

WWE Tag Team Champions Michael McGillicutty & David Otunga def. The Usos in a WWE Tag Team Championship Match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Despite the fact that The Usos scored a non-title match victory over McGillicutty & Otunga on "WWE Superstars," they failed to overcome the WWE Tag Team Champions when the titles were on the line. With McGillicutty in trouble, Otunga threw a war torn Jimmy Uso into the ring. This distracted the referee long enough for Otunga to hurl the legal man Jey Uso off the top rope, paving the way for the recovering McGillicutty to hit Jey with the neckbreaker for the three-count.

Sheamus picked a fight with Mark Henry (WATCH | PHOTOS)
With no Superstars apparently willing to take on the destructive Mark Henry, Zack Ryder – SmackDown GM Theodore Long’s new Assistant – promised to get him an opponent (watch). This ultimately came in the form of a local athlete, half Henry’s size.

Decimating his outmatched foe, The World’s Strongest Man opted to continue his assault after the bell. Moments after Teddy Long rushed to the ring to try and stop the madness, Sheamus emerged. Provoking the furious Henry to charge toward him with a humiliating slap, Sheamus dropped the rope at the last moment, sending the subject of his ridicule crashing to the ringside floor. The massive Superstar tried to get back in the ring, but was promptly stopped by the chair-wielding Irish brawler.

Alicia Fox, Tamina & Rosa Mendes def. Natalya, Kaitlyn & A.J. (WATCH | PHOTOS)
After Alicia Fox avoided an aerial attack from SmackDown’s “spitfire” AJ, the dangerous Diva executed a brutal scissors kick for the win. But, which of WWE’s battling beauties will reign supreme this Monday on Raw when the Divas of WWE compete in a Battle Royal to determine the No. 1 contender to Kelly Kelly’s Divas Championship?

Daniel Bryan puts Wade Barrett in the LeBell Lock (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Making it clear that he came to the United States and WWE to make money, Wade Barrett said that he is returning to basics, proclaiming that greed is overrated. However, when he began to bad mouth Daniel Bryan, Mr. Money in the Bank took exception. Barrett struck the determined Superstar and began to berate him. But, Bryan quickly turned the tables, cinching in the LeBell Lock on the English grappler.

World Heavyweight Champion Christian def. John Morrison (WATCH | PHOTOS)
With his neck still clearly not 100 percent, John Morrison came to SmackDown to battle Christian. However, seconds after avoiding The Guru of Greatness’ Starship Pain, the World Heavyweight Champion took advantage of his foe’s lingering injury. Catapulting Morrison’s neck off the top rope, the crafty champion claimed victory with the Killswitch.

Zack Ryder appointed Assistant to the SmackDown GM (WATCH)
Shortly after addressing the WWE Universe, COO Triple H decided to appoint Zack Ryder as the new Assistant to SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long.

New Chief Operating Officer Triple H laid down the law on SmackDown (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Following his first State of the WWE Address on Monday Night Raw, Triple H journeyed to SmackDown. He immediately addressed the WWE Championship situation on Raw, acknowledging that Punk has been re-signed and that there are, in fact, two WWE Champions – The Second City Saint and John Cena. He vowed to make a decision on how to handle this problem this Monday night on Raw.

World Heavyweight Champion Christian interrupted Triple H, assuming the new man in charge would want to establish “a closer, working relationship” with him. However, taking the interruption as “a slap in the face,” Triple H declared that Christian will put his title on the line at SummerSlam against Randy Orton in a No Holds Barred Match (match preview).

Soon after Raw Superstar R-Truth interrupted as well – proclaiming himself a “man of action” – Triple H decided to provide some for both he and Christian. To the delight of the WWE Universe, he decreed that R-Truth would face Randy Orton and Christian would take on John Morrison.

    Haalt wwe Domino terug?

    - There has been talk within WWE that former Tag Team Champion Cliff "Domino" Compton is headed back to the company. There's a feeling that CM Punk has more pull these days and will be in a position to recommend talents that should be signed to developmental or brought back to the company in general.

AJ Styles Interview: Wants The 6 Sided Ring Back And Rey Mysterio In TNA

AJ Styles Interview: Wants The 6 Sided Ring Back And Rey Mysterio In TNA

TNA Wrestler AJ Styles Spoke to the UK Sun a few days ago regarding TNA's Destination X Pay Per View, The UK Tour and more. Below is a quick recap.

On his overall thoughts of Destination X:

    Quote

Destination X was probably one of best events of the year so far and one I particularly enjoyed being a part of.

On the return of the six sided ring:

    Quote

I hated to see the six-sided ring leave and I was excited to see it return. I have, I guess, got kind of used to the four-sided ring and had forgotten how hard it was to perform in the six-sided one. But the six-sided ring is what made TNA. It may have only been back for one event but we showed how special it is!

On the current state of the X-Division:

    Quote

The X Division is one of the best things we do. They do deserve TV time and unfortunately they don't always get it. It's been a case of guys like Hogan and Sting needing TV airtime and the X guys getting lost in the shuffle. My hope is that Destination X is the wake-up call they need to give them the shot they deserve. I'd like to see those matches return to form and being the reason that people tune in to see us doing this stuff once again.

On which wrestler he would like to see in TNA:

    Quote

Well I'd love to see Rey Mysterio end his career here. I'd love that opportunity, he is such a superstar and I'd hope it could happen, you just never know.

IMPACT WRESTLING Coverage: Highlights From Thursday Night On SpikeTV

    Impact Wrestling Results - 7/28/2011
From Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida
Report by: Alex Barie of WrestlingNewsWorld.com

Impact Wrestling starts out with Kurt Angle walking backstage. He is walking up steps as his music hits. Mike Tenay says he is coming into the iMPACT Zone. He gets on stage as the fans go crazy. He comes down the ramp and gets into the ring. He grabs a mic and begins to speak.

His first word is "Hogan". He tells Hogan to come out as they can end it once and for all. Just then, Hogan's music plays and here comes the iconic figure! Hulk Hogan gets on stage and does his famous taunts. The crowd boos him incredibly. He comes down the ramp and gets into the ring as he sports a blue bandana. As he gets to the steps, he rips up a fan's poster. He is finally in the ring. Kurt begins to talk again as he states that Hogan called him throughout the week. Kurt never picked up though. Kurt wants Hogan to know how he feels about Immortal. He doesn't like Immortal at all. He thinks they are corrupt and are led by people who have no idea what they are doing. Kurt talks about his title match against Sting and says he will beat him for the title and he will prove that he will be the best in the world. He asks Hogan if he knows what it is like to be the best in the world. Hogan gets on the mic and says he knows what it is like to be the best. Hogan says when there was no Sting, Matt Morgan, RVD, Kurt Angle, Beer Money, and Andre the Giant......he carried the company on his back. He carried every small company until the whole business became a global company. Hogan goes back to 1984 as he says he was selling out arenas with young punks buying tickets just to see Hogan. Since Hogan cleared that up, Hogan was calling Kurt because he saw him preforming at a huge level. It's not about money now or then or about his medal.....he says he can give him a lot more money now. Kurt gets back on the mic and says he does respect Hogan. Because of that, he isn't beating up Hogan right now. Kurt says he can't be bought like Mr. Anderson. Kurt goes on to say that Hogan was the very best 25 years ago. Now, the Hogan name is completely different. He can't go anymore. Hogan cuts him off. Hogan goes on to talk about himself again. After injuries, he can no longer fight. If Kurt is going after his wife or kids, then he will see what Hogan is made of. Hogan then questions Kurt and his olympic win. He says that may be a fluke. Kurt says Sting was right. Kurt lit a fire under Hogan. The older they get, the more the fire burns. Hogan needs to prove it to himself. Hogan asks what Kurt is trying to say. Kurt says that Hogan wants to pay him (Kurt) a huge amount of money to get Sting. Well, Kurt says that Hogan should get Sting himself. He turns down the Immortal offer and the money offer. Kurt's music hits and he leaves the ring as he walks up the ramp backwards.

The camera goes backstage and it shows So Cal Val backstage. Eric Bischoff comes through the door as he says his plane ran late and he just made it to the show now. Val goes up to him and hands him an envelope. She tells him that it's from the Network. He is annoyed.

The show returns and Christy Hemme is in the ring as she announces the first contest. She introduces Gunner as it's a Bound for Glory Series match. As he comes down, the updated leader points is shown. Crimson is still in first. Gunner is second. Then Rob Van Dam is introduced. As he comes down the ramp, a video is played recaping his match last week.

Gunner vs. RVD in a Bound for Glory Series Match

Gunner easily takes Rob to the corner as the match begins. Gunner does multiple shoulder tackles in the corner. RVD fights back with some punches, but Gunner pushes him back. RVD does some scissor wheel type move to make Gunner fall on his back for a cover, but Gunner kicks out. They get up and Gunner takes control again. He knocks Rob down. He waits for Rob to get up. He gets up and Gunner knocks him down hard. RVD slowly gets up and Gunner goes to him, but Rob slips away. He jumps to the second corner and flies back for a kick to Gunner. Gunner blocks, but RVD gets away and finally takes control as he goes to another corner and does a flying cross body. He chokes Gunner with his boot. He puts Gunner's neck right on the apron. Rob flies over the top rope to land on his neck, but Gunner moves. Gunner gets him back on the apron. Gunner lifts him up and brings him right down on the ropes. Rob flies back and lands right on the steel railing. Rob slowly comes in. Gunner tries to take control, but Rob comes back with multiple offensive moves. He does all of his famous knockdowns and then ends it with a rolling thunder. Gunner rolls to the outside. Rob goes to fly over the ropes, but Gunner grabs his leg and slides him out of the ring. He lifts Rob up and hits a great body slam on the outside. You can hear the smack! He brings Rob back in and Gunner is in control. Gunner hits a suplex. He then gets RVD up and goes for a powerbomb, but Rob kneels down. Gunner gets him up and throws him in the corner. Rob then jumps to the second rope after hitting Gunner with an elbow. He gets to the second rope, but Gunner gets him, brings him back, and makes Rob land right on his back and neck. He goes to cover, but Rob kicks out. They get up and Gunner goes to end it again, but RVD gets his way with some great kicks that knock Gunner down. Rob goes to the top rope and hits the five star frog splash! Winner: Rob Van Dam

As RVD celebrates his victory, a video recap of the match is shown. The points are updated and it shows that RVD is in third place.

The camera is backstage as it shows Sting backstage with The Joker style face paint. This time he is all dressed up with red and black.

    -Commercial

The show returns and Eric Bischoff is sitting behind his desk. He tells Abyss to be quiet. The camera is then showing the entire Immortal group. Eric reads the letter and the network wants Eric to rebuild the X-Division. If Abyss took out Kendrick, they wouldn't have this problem. Just then, arguing starts. Hogan comes into the room and tells them to be quiet. Hogan says he doesn't care about anything they have to say. All he wants it Kurt Angle taken out. Bully Ray says he will do it. Just then, Bully says to have Ken be with him too. Ken is furious as he didn't sign up for this. Anderson then says that can do it and fine....he will do it. Eric then says that it's not done. He goes on to read, but Sting appears out of nowhere behind Hogan and Bully Ray. Sting bows down to Hogan and then walks around the room. He hugs Karen and then takes a seat as he is carrying a cage with a sheet over it. Karen calls him crazy, and Sting says thank you. Sting then says that he is in charge. Immortal doesn't believe it, but Sting says it is very true. He announces that it will be Kurt vs. Ken in a Steel Cage. He says that they need to work together since he is the new Network Executive, but Hogan says no as they will not work together. Sting get up and takes his cage with him and leaves.

The camera changes to Brian Kendrick as he is in the ring. Alex Shelley is with him. Brian talks in his classic style. Alex gets on the mic and translates it for everyone. He says Brian is trying to say that Alex is a huge idiot and jerk. They then call out Austin Aries. Here he comes. He marches his way down the ramp and gets in the ring. Alex gets back on the mic and talks about some huge X-Division wrestlers and what they have done in the division. While they are about high flying, Austin is here and is using chains and everything else to get the win. Austin gets on the mic and compliments Brian's style of fashion. He then insults Alex. He goes to say that he played with their code of ethics as he fought his way to win a TNA contract. Now that he is here, everyone will be playing by his rules. They are just pleasing the fans, and Austin is not for that. Austin wants a 5 star bank account.....and that means he wants the money and it doesn't matter if he has to cheat to win. In the end, he will become X-Division Champion. Brian says no way as he is the Champion right now. It will not involve to have Austin as champion. Alex then gets on the mic and says the network wants to push the X-Division to the moon. With that being said, Alex will get his rematch for the title at the PPV. Just then, Abyss' music hits and he comes out on stage. He calls on Kendrick. He asks if Kendrick forget about him. He then states that Kendrick will not make it to Hardcore Justice. It doesn't matter about the network or Sting.....Eric and Hogan still call the shots. Because of that, Hogan and Eric gave Abyss a rematch for the title and it is tonight. Abyss will do what he should have done at the last PPV. That it to get the title and kill the X-Division once and for all. He laughs. All of a sudden, Sting comes on the titan tron and says excuse me. Sting says that he has more power than Hogan and Eric now. He wonders if monsters are afraid of heights. He says it will be Kendrick vs. Abyss in an Ultimate X Match! Abyss can't believe it as he holds his head from that hurtful match.

Matt Morgan is shown backstage as he reveals he is suffering from a torn pectoral muscle. He says he has been wrestling for 9 years and never missed a show. He goes on to say that he was almost at the top of the leader board in the Bound for Glory Series. As soon as he was, his doctor said he is injured. It tore his heart. That title is his oxygen. He needs the world title. The video ends as it was filmed earlier today.

Mike Tenay and Taz are shown as they announce Kurt Angle vs. Sting at Hardcore Justice for the title and they show how Kurt got a title match. Then another video plays and it shows recaps from TNA house shows during the past week for as they go on to show Bound for Glory series matches. Crimson is still in the lead.

The camera changes backstage and it shows Bully Ray on his phone. He says Crimson? He is not afraid of Crimson. Hell, he is playing Angry Birds. He will beat Crimson whenever he wants to. He then calls out AJ Styles as he says he will be fighting him at a house show in Houston. He beat him in the Last Man Standing match a couple months ago and he will beat him again. "Okie dokie?!"

    ROH Wrestlers Joining WWE

-- Multiple sources believe Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero, who perform as The Kings of Wrestling for Ring of Honor, will conclude their obligations with the organization next month and join WWE immediately thereafter.

Though they are advertised for the August 13th Ring of Honor television taping in Chicago Ridge, Illinois, one source says it's possible they will debut for WWE—bypassing developmental—before the end of the month. There are also rumors that they could be involved in CM Punk's current storyline.

CM Punk Reveals When He Decided To Stay In WWE

CM Punk Reveals When He Decided To Stay In WWE
Posted by Dave Mitchell on 07/27/2011 at 03:27 PM

CM PUNK appeared on the BS Report radio show this wee, hosted by ESPN's Bill Simmons. You can listen to audio of the interview at ESPN.com.

Here's a recap of what CM Punk said about:

    Why he returned so soon:

It would be cool to stay off television for a while but SummerSlam is now and he wanted to capitalize on the momentum of the angle. He enjoys working with John Cena and likes their feud. He still loves what he does.

    Wrestlers boring him:

He grew very bored of pro wrestling and still is at times. Certain guys on the roster who do the same thing day in and day out and that's not him. He questions everything and tries new things - and whatever he's doing right now is working.

His epic shoot promo on RAW several weeks ago:

He knew WWE would cut him off at some point - but he wanted to push the envelope as much as he could. It was not scripted - everything he said was from the heart. He understood certain things are off limits - and he did go too far with a few of his comments.

Whether he was really leaving WWE:

His mind was made up to leave WWE. He made the decision to stay in WWE the day of the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. He wasn't playing games or trying to get more money from WWE - he was very burnt out and spent a lot of time weighing his options.

His new theme song "Cut of Personality":

He's a big advocate of wrestlers changing their characters - their look, their music, etc. It was time to change. It probably cost WWE a lot of money to license the song and he's worth it.

Kevin Nash makes an offer to CM Punk
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 07/27/2011 at 10:50 AM

Kevin Nash is currently filming Rock of Ages in Canada which comes out in 2012 and stars Tom Cruise, Mary J. Blige, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones and others. Nash wrote the following on Twitter, apparently making an offer to CM Punk:

"Still up trying to unwind from todays shoot.2-3 days left on Rock of Ages. Enjoying Raw, Punk doing a great job. Punk if you want back up you got my number. Your worth me going back on the road full time. Offer stands understand if you want to go it alone."

Nash later wrote that he wasn't begging to get back on WWE TV but wanted to get that "Royal Rumble feel again."

    Posted Image
Former 'Big Brother' star Jessie Godderz a.k.a Mr. Pec-Tacular just signed a deal with TNA Wrestling -- and TMZ has learned the company is hopeful he'll debut on TV by the end of the year.

For those unfamiliar, Godderz was the professional body builder on "Big Brother" Seasons 10 and 11... and has been training to become a professional wrestler ever since leaving the house.According to multiple sources, Jesse has signed a developmental contract with TNA Impact Wrestling that runs through the rest of 2011 -- and the company hopes to get him on TV in the next few months.TMZ spoke to Jesse who tells us he's been "training with TNA wrestler Bully Ray at his facility in Florida" ever since signing the deal ... and is hopeful he'll get an opportunity to mix it up in the ring with Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle in the near future.
