Dusty Rhodes comments on Randy Savage
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 05/21/2011 at 02:34 PM

The Washington Post has a quote from Dusty Rhodes on the death of Randy Savage:

“There’s probably five or six of us, with Andre (the Giant) and (Hulk) Hogan and thankfully myself and (Ric) Flair, that, when their names pop up, even if you’re not a fan, you know who in the hell these people are. You say, ‘I know this guy. I know Macho Man Randy Savage.’ He was part of that breed. We lost a good one.”

Flair talks in detail about Savage's death

Flair talks in detail about Savage's death
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 05/20/2011 at 10:26 PM

Thanks to Wes Holtsclaw and prowrestling.net for the interview recap of Ric Flair on 610-AM The Fan's "The Drive" show with Taylor Zarzour...

Ric Flair on "Macho Man" Randy Savage's death hitting hard: "It sure did (hit hard). It's pretty sad. He just recently got married, it's been a little over a year, and was happy and, you know, really seemed to be at peace with himself. He just had a phenomenal career and to have this happen is just really, really sad."

Flair on his WrestleMania VIII match with Savage: "That was a huge day for me and my first dance at WrestleMania, of course. It was just a tremendously well-written program. It was like he was married to Liz back then and she was a huge commodity and a huge star with the WWF, or that's what they were called back then, of course. And the thing was, 'She was mine before she was yours.' It was well-written and done and Randy worked hard at it and I worked hard at it. We had a really good match. Curt Hennig, God rest his soul, managed me and Liz managed Randy and we gave them a hell of a show and it was awesome. That was my first Mania and one of the finest memories of my career."

Flair with additional comments on Savage: "My thoughts about Randy are different. I think he was such a competitive guy. Randy had a really hard time relaxing and I feel bad. I think about the times I used to say to him, 'Hey man, just calm down and don't worry about this and this and this... whatever happens is going to happen.' If you go to sleep at night worrying about what's going to happen the next day, it's just too hard. You know, he worked like I did, 365 times a year back in the old days.

"He actually broke in in Charlotte in 1975. I'd only been here a year when Randy moved in down here. He played semi-pro baseball, I think, in St. Louis and was doing fairly well but wasn't blowing up the ladder like expected so he came here and broke in the business. The irony in that is when I first moved here in '74 I actually traveled with his dad several times. I knew the whole family very well. His dad just passed recently and I think that hurt Randy really bad. They were very close.

"Randy just dropped out of sight when the company was sold from WCW (to WWE). The thing I feel worst about, of all of the guys that are available and eligible to be in the WWE Hall of Fame -- there most be something that I'm unaware of that's gone on and they've never inducted him because Randy certainly was a major player for the WWF in the mecca days of the eighties and ninties."

Flair on whether Savage is one of the ten greatest wrestlers of all time: "Of course. Yeah. Of course. ... I didn't always agree with Randy. I'm not gonna lie to you. I didn't sweat things out like he did. But I wasn't... I didn't have to fight like a dog in that race they had to be whoever they were in the eighties in that show, where everybody was fighting for position everyday of their life. I didn't have to evolve from that. I never had personal differences with him, nothing about lifestyle. It was just about business and it doesn't stop my opinion (of him) -- he always did favors for me. He came in and opened some of my Gold's Gyms.

"We were great friends. He and I clashed in business but outside of the ring we were great. He could drink beer and have a good time. And I made him laugh and helped him take his mind of things that bothered him. We got along great and had a lot of fun together. I used to say to him all the time, he probably died with 300 million dollars in the bank. I'm not exaggerating. I'm being facetious. But Randy was very thrifty. I used to say to him all the time, because he would stay at hotels that were less cost effective than where I stayed. (laughs)

"You can criticize it all you want but I'm going to enjoy the moment because you never know, you know. The irony in that is Randy was only 58 years old. That's sad because I guarantee you he's got enough money to live 200 more years. He made it. He worked hard to earn it. He worked very hard to earn it. He deserved it. But I always used to say to him, 'Man, you live for the day.' Today's another example of why you have to live for today. You never know."

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – With their clash at WWE Over the Limit looming, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Christian played a bit of a game as to how willing they were to protect each other’s readiness for Sunday.

World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton def. Mark Henry by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS)
World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton was holding his own against The World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry – until Sheamus decided to make a statement with a ruthless attack. After the match went to Orton because of a disqualification, Henry joined The Celtic Warrior in a vicious 2-on-1 assault on the recoiling Viper. As the brutality unfolded, Christian emerged at the top of the ramp, hesitated a bit, then decided to help the champion fight off his attackers. With the odds evening, an energized Viper took down Henry with a blistering RKO. After the dust settled, Christian and Orton celebrated with a handshake. But come Sunday, which Superstar will be celebrating a World Title victory? (Preview)

The Great Khali def. Jey Uso (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Newcomer Jinder Mahal continued to get in The Great Khali’s face on SmackDown. After the verbal lashing, the focused seven-footer got an easy victory over Jey Uso with a Khali Chop followed up by a Punjabi Plunge. When Jimmy Uso stuck his nose in things, he too felt the destructive force of the Khali Chop. (WATCH: “Has The Great Khali gone soft?”)

Ted DiBiase def. Trent Barreta (WATCH | PHOTOS)
One week after being beaten in a match against Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase was surprisingly accompanied to the ring by the masked Superstar. After making DiBiase wear a paper bag over his head, Rhodes laid down some harsh criticism by saying “what once was a blooming flower, is now a wilted shrub.” After the rebuking was over, DiBiase took care of business against Trent Barreta, dispatching of him with Dream Street.

Chavo Guerrero could not beat Daniel Bryan within five minutes (WATCH | PHOTOS)
With tensions growing between Chavo Guerrero and Sin Cara – and a match between the two at WWE Over Limit looming – Chavo wanted to prove he was the better Superstar. To showcase his skills, Chavo set out to beat Daniel Bryan quicker than Sin Cara did last week. However, when the self-imposed five-minute limit was up, Chavo could not get the victory. Before he could ponder the loss, Chavo was downed by an attacking Sin Cara in one fell swoop. Is Chavo in for more of the same at WWE Over the Limit? (Preview)

Ezekiel Jackson, WWE Tag Team Champions Big Show & Kane def. Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Before the massive tag team bout began, Ezekiel Jackson spoke about how his recent attempt to walk away from The Corre was met with a beating. A fired up Jackson then led his behemoth team to victory by slamming Justin Gabriel five times during the match, then finally making him submit with a backbreaker. Can Jackson finally assert his independence with a win over Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett on Sunday? (Preview)

Divas Champion Brie Bella def. Natalya (WATCH | PHOTOS)
After recalling tangling with Kharma on Raw (WATCH), Brie Bella picked up a victory over the hard-charging Natalya. Will Brie continue the momentum into WWE Over the Limit when she defends her title against Kelly Kelly? (Preview)

Christian def. Sheamus (WATCH | PHOTOS)
After a formidable fight from both Superstars, Christian escaped Sheamus’ High Cross and rolled him up for the pinfall. But before he could celebrate the win, Christian was attacked by Mark Henry. Next, Sheamus soon joined in the brutal assault. As the 2-on-1 beating continued, Randy Orton appeared at the top of the entrance ramp. A hesitant Viper watched the carnage from afar before finally rushing to the ring to help fend off Christian’s attackers

    Tyson Kidd Loses Another Manager

It looks like Michael Hayes may be done as Tyson Kidd's manager already. After Kidd lost to Yoshi Tatsu on last night's Superstars, Hayes went to help Kidd up but ended up elbowing him back to the mat. Hayes said he has better things to do than hang around losers. There was talk that Hayes would be managing other WWE talents so it's possible WWE will keep him in the managerial role.

    Impact Wrestling Results - 5/19/2011
From Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida
Report by: Alex Barie of WrestlingNewsWorld.com

The first ever full episode of Impact Wrestling airs right here on May 19th, 2011!

The show starts off with a recap last week's show with Mick Foley being revealed as the person behind the network and Chyna being Kurt's mistress. It then shows the results of the major matches from Sacrifice like the Angle/Jarrett match and the TNA World Title match.

The video ends and white letters with a glowing blue around it reads "Back from the Dead" with a black background.

A new video entrance airs that hypes up the shows new name of Impact Wrestling.

As we see the Impact Wrestling zone, Immortal's music hits and all of the members come out to the ring. All of them get in the ring as we see a new arena set-up with blue ring ropes (and the whole ring itself) and new lighting.

Eric gets on the mic and talks about how him and Hulk change the arena as they can remodel according to the changes from the network. He says if it was really up to Mick Foley, it would be a show all about thumbtacks. He says that Hulk is off at New York as he is meeting with Foley. Eric states that he is in charge tonight and whoever gets in his way will pay the price. Just then, Brian Kendrick's music hits and here comes the eccentric man as he leads several other X-Divisioners.

Kendrick has a mic and wonders why Eric is saying about being in his way on a wrestling show while he isn't even a wrestler. It gets Kendrick furious as he is a wrestler and he can out wrestle, along with the other X-Divisioners, any other wrestler on Immortal. Eric comes out of the ring and goes right to Kendrick. Eric says he is going to create history. He is going to whip out the X-Division once and for all tonight. Eric is sick of it. He's going to start out with Kazarian. The X-Division is about no limits, not about weight limits. So Kazarian will face Abyss! He then states that Amazing Red will face against Samoa Joe tonight. As for Generation Me, they will face off against Matt Hardy and........ERIC BISCHOFF! Eric is loving this night. Kendrick stops Eric from talking and saying he forgot about him. Eric forgot that Kendrick was standing there. He has something for Brian though, and that is a slap to the face. Eric walks away and Immortals go after the X-Divisioners. Immortal beats them up easily. After they are done, Fortune comes out and they take Immortal to the limit. Fortune clears house after Bully Ray was the last one in the ring. Just then, Fortune continues the fight as they get out of the ring and attack Immortal. It's all out chaos! Immortal finally attacks Forune and they walk up the ramp as Fortune stay by the ring. Flair gets fired up and throws his coat to Fortune. That starts more heat and the two groups are off fighting again. The X-Divisioners are back and they help Fortune out as they go after Immortal. Generation Me does suicide dives and Amazing Red flies in the air on Abyss.

Immortal tries to retreat, but they come back as more fighting contine. Fighting is all over the Wrestling Impact arena. Finally, Forune and the X-Divisioners get in the ring as Immortal goes up the ramp. Flair comes down and says he needs to talk to Roode. He will talk to him later tonight and he better show.

A limo has arrived and it shows someone's shoes and legs that has a scorpion on it. Mike Tenay says it's Sting!

Sarita, Rosita, and Madison Rayne vs. Mickie James, Ms. Tessmacher, and Tara

Sarita and Rosita are already in the ring as the show comes back. Madison Rayne's entrance is shown as she comes to the ring with a huge crown on her head. As she comes to the ring, it shows her match with Mickie this past Sunday. Mickie, Tessmacher and Tara come out as the same time.

Before the match, Mexican America come out, Hernandez and Anarkia. They go to the announcer's table.

The bell rings and Rayne started but tagged in Rosita. Mickie starts for her team. Rosita takes off her earings and then gets ready for battle. Mickie just pushes Rosita to the mat. She gets up, but Mickie puts an armbar and then a headlock. Rosita pushes Mickie to her corner and Rayne tags in. Rayne gets in and chokes Mickie with her foot. She then talks trash to Tara. Mickie comes up and goes after Madison with an armlock. She tags in Tara while it's still locked, but Madison gets out of it and tags Sarita in as she runs out of the ring. Sarita comes in and Tara her battle it out. Tara hits a closeline and then stomps on Sarita. She gets her up by the hair and then tags in Tessmacher. She comes in and does an elbow drop, a cover, but only gets a two. Both get up and Tessmacher does an armbar takedown. She gets distracted by her opponent's corner, which gives Sarita time to get up and go after her. She tags in Madison and she goes to Tessmacher. Tessmacher tags in Tara, but Madison tags in Rosita and slides out of the ring again. Tara gets Rosita and hits a spinning powerslam. She does a cover, but it's broken up. Sarita comes in but she gets thrown out of the ring. Madison comes in and goes behind Tara, but Tara turns around. Madison backs off and throws Rosita to Tara. Tara slams her and picks up the win. Winners: Mickie James, Tara, and Ms. Tessmacher

Madison is up on the ramp and yells, "What are you going to do, Tara?"

The show comes back and it shows the boots and legs again of the person who came out of the limo. Mike says it's Sting and he will make an appearance soon.

Eric is backstage with Abyss before he comes out to the ring and Eric tells Abyss that he wants him to destory Kazarian and X-Division and get the title. What would Sun-Zu do?

Abyss vs. Kazarian, Champ, for the X-Division Title

Abyss comes to the ring first. After him, Kazarian does as he has the title around his waist. While he comes to the ring, his match at the PPV this past Sunday is shown.

This could be the last X-Division match ever. The bell rings and Abyss shows his power as he pushes Kazarian half way across the ring. Kazarian shows his speed though as he runs around Abyss. He does a dropkick to Abyss, but he doesn't go down. Kazarian runs in the ropes toward Abyss, but Abyss hits a huge elbow. Abyss tosses him in a corner. Abyss runs and splashes right into Kazarian. Abyss grabs his head in the middle of the ring and twists it. The crowd is getting behind Kazarian. Kazarian gets up and does several punches to the face of Abyss. Kazarian runs back into the ropes to get momentum. He goes toward Abyss, but Abyss goes for a chokeslam, but Kazarian slides behind. He runs around the ring again. He goes to the apron, jumps on the top rope, and hits a great springboard dropkick. Abyss gets up and Kazarian does a hurricanrona. He then does more springboard type moves and covers Abyss, but gets a two. Kazarian grabs Abyss from behind as both are on their feet, but Abyss pushes Kazarian back. He goes up to the top corner and jumps, but Abyss goes for a chokeslam. Kazarian gets out of it and does a roll up, but only gets a two again. Abyss gets Kazarian and hits the shock treatment. It could be done. Abyss then goes to the second corner and jumps off it as he does a splash, but Kazarian moves. Abyss lands right on his knee and he holds his knee as he lies on the mat. Kazarian gets up and goes right after the injured part. The referee backs him up. Abyss stands to his feet, but he uses the ropes to help him. Kazarian runs after Abyss, but Abyss does a big boot from his "injured" leg. Abyss hits the black hole slam, and gets the pinfall! Winner and NEW X-Division Champ: Abyss

Abyss grabs the title and he is perfectly fine now. He talks to the camera about Sun-Zu, the God of War. He holds the title high and Kazarian is shown holding his head in disbelief.

Amazing Red is already in the ring as he gets set for his match.

    Amazing Red vs. Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe comes out as they show alittle package of his time in TNA.

The bell rings and Red runs right to Joe, but Joe picks him up with one arm and throws him hard to the mat. He goes after Red, but Red gets up and does a punch to Joe's head. Joe throws Red in the corner, but Red twirls around and stops any move Joe was going to do. Joe pushes Red in the corner and then hits him with a huge kick in the corner. he then gets Red up and hits the muscle buster and gets the win. Winner: Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe continues to attack Red after the match is over. As he does, Crimson runs down and starts to attack Joe, but Joe fights back as he pushes him in the corner. Crimson gets out of the corner and hits a T-bone suplex. Joe slides out of the ring as he holds his head. He walks up the ramp as Crimson is standing in the ring with his music playing. You know Joe wants to stop Crimson's undefeated streak.

Impact Wrestling comes back with AJ Styles in the ring. He is getting ready to talk as he has a mic in hand with a neckbrace around his neck. He says he and Tommy need to talk, so he better come out here. Just then, Tommy Dreamer's music plays and here comes the Innovator of Violence. Tommy gets in the ring. As he does, Mike Tenay says James Storm got a concussion from the brawl earlier tonight.

AJ begins to talk and says he has to wear the neckbrace for a couple weeks because of Tommy giving him a piledriver through a table. AJ says he's a pro wrestler, that's what he does, but he doesn't sit on the sidelines. AJ says he got a bigger picture. It involves Immortal, Bully Ray, and Hogan. AJ says if Tommy didn't do what he did, he wouldn't have a contract in TNA. He doesn't blame Tommy as AJ would have done the same thing. AJ says he knows wrestling matters to Tommy and Tommy knows wrestling matters to AJ. Tommy grabs a mic and asks AJ if he means that he can't beat AJ if he didn't hurt his neck? Is AJ saying that he is better than Tommy? Tommy states that he built a wrestling company and he didn't get help from anyone. He wrestled and did everything for free! Tommy says this is a historic night. He piledrived him because he was told to, but he will do what he did now because he wants to. He then hits AJ in the head with the mic. He then attacks AJ as he is on the mat. Tommy starts to yell and says he sold-out. He says these fans will turn on anyone they want to, including AJ. He then goes AJ again as he stomps on him. AJ comes back and tackles Tommy down. Tommy fights him off and punches him right in the head. Just then, Daniels runs in and saves his best friend. Tommy gets up and walks around the ring as Daniels stalks him. Tommy grabs his coat and goes to exit the ring, but he turns around and goes after Daniels.

Daniels saw him out of the corner of his eye and goes after Tommy. He attacks him in the corner. Just then, Bully Ray enters the ring and hits AJ right in the head with a steel chain. Daneils gets up and turns around to a big boot from Bully Ray. Bully turns his hat around and relaxes against the ropes as Dreamer gets AJ up. He sets up and hits a piledriver that....makes AJ bounce up and lie motionless on the mat.

The show comes back and a video package shows a fan talking about how he loves wrestling and how wrestling matters.

Sting is shown backstage as he talks about his title and Hogan.

The camera quickly turns to somewhere else backstage and it shows that yellow boot and blue pants person walking. Mike asks how can Sting be in two places at once?

Kurt Angle's music hits and here comes the olympic gold medalist. He gets in the ring as the fans cheer. He grabs a mic.

He starts off with, Ding, Dong the %itch is dead. He thanks Chyna from being out of wrestling for 10 years. She beat up Chyna and went to break Karen's ankle. Chyna isn't here tonight. Kurt says he finally gets what he wants. That is Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett one-on-one! It will happen at Slamiversary. The winner of the match, a stipulation just made by Mick Foley, will be the #1 Contender for the TNA World Title. Jeff Jarrett's music hits and he comes down to the ring fast as you can clearly see he is not in the mood.

He grabs a mic and asks Kurt if he is kidding! He can't believe Kurt is getting another shot at him. What did he deserve to get this? He beat Kurt every time. It was Kurt's ADD, it was Kurt's fault that distracted him. It wasn't Karen's fault. Jeff was focused though as he won because he is better than Kurt. (The fans boo loudly from that.) Jeff says he is up for one final match against Kurt. Jeff says if Kurt is really up to it, then he has no problem agreeing to this stipulation. Jeff has taken everything from Kurt, but his gold medal. He tells Kurt to put his gold medal up and if Jeff wins, then he will get it. Jeff and Kurt shake hands. Kurt's music hits, but it changes to Jeff's and Karen comes up from the stage. Karen laughs and says Jeff won't be alone at the PPV. Velvet Sky comes from backstage. Kurt starts to smile and Jeff tries to point behind Karen but she doesn't get it. Velvet grabs the mic from Karen and asks her if she wants to go for a ride. She doesn't, but that doesn't stop Sky as she pushes Karen's wheelchair that is sitting in down the ramp. Jeff comes out and stops Karen, but she flies forward and falls out and both fall. Karen falls right on Jeff.

Generation Me are backstage as they talk about their fallout from a couple months ago. They are on the same page though as they go against Matt Hardy and Eric Bischoff tonight.

Eric Bischoff is backstage as he gets a phone call from Hulk Hogan. Eric asks Hogan how it was and Eric laughs. He says no one can stop Hogan in an office. He tells Hogan he is wrestling and he will tell him how it goes later. He hangs it up and says, "What a night!"

Jeff Jarrett is backstage as Karen is sitting down. Jeff is on the phone and says it's a done deal. he gets off the phone and states that Velvet Sky will face Angelina Love and Winter tonight. Jeff leaves while Karen is in her angry moods again as she starts yelling at Jeff to wheel her out.

Generation Me is already in the ring. Matt Hardy and Eric Bischoff come out next from the tune of Bischoff's music.

Generation Me vs. Matt Hardy and Eric Bischoff

Matt hardy starts out against Jeremy. Matt puts a headlock on and then goes after the arm. He releases now Jeremy puts on a headlock and then an armlock, but Matt revereses it to his own. Matt is whipped into the ropes, and Jeremy gets taken down by shoulder hits. Jeremy comes back and knocks Matt down and then taunts to Eric. Matt comes back and hits a side effect. Matt asks if Eric wants in and he says when the time is right. Matt works on the head of Jeremy as he is in total control. Jeremy fights back and puts a headlock on Matt. He releases it and Max tags in blindly. They do a double team move on Matt and they dissect him. They do more tag team moves as they are in control. Max is the only one in the ring now. Matt and him are both on their feet and they exchange punches. Matt comes out on top as he then hits a suplex. Matt goes for a cover, but only gets a two. Max comes back and hits Matt that makes him dazed and confused. Max goes after him, but Matt plants Max right on his head. Matt now crawls to his corner to tag Eric, but Jeremy tags himself in and then climbs the corner. He lands on the back of Matt, covers him, but gets a two. He goes up again and tries for a 450 splash, but Matt puts his knees up. Jeremy rolls over to Max and he tags himself in. Max comes in, but Matt does a submission move on him that cuts off his air. Matt then tags in Eric. While Matt holds Max from behind, Eric does several kicks to the gut of Max. Matt has him fall and Eric covers him. Winner: Eric Bischoff and Matt Hardy

Angelina Love and Winter are backstage and Winter is talking to a poisoned, dead, dummy-like Angelina. She tells Love that after tonight, she will have Love all for herself just like it was in the past. It will only be them two. Winter moves forward and kisses Love right on the lips. She grabs Love's hand and gets her up as they walk out of the room full of candles.

Another video clip of a fan talking about being a wrestling fan.

Christy Hemme introduces Winter and Angelina Love as they come to the ring. Love is walking in that robot state as Winter has her remote control.

Velvet Sky comes to the ring next as the fans go crazy.

Winer and Angelina Love vs. Velvet Sky in a 2-1 Handicap Match

Winter starts the match off against Sky. The bell rings and both walk around before they lock-up. They go to lock-up, but Winter grabs the arm of Sky, pulls her toward her corner and tags Love. Love comes in and goes right to Sky. She chokes Sky, but she fights it off and attacks Winter in the corner. Sky then runs to Love, but Love just stands there as Sky hits and falls down like hitting into a wall. Sky gets up and Winter attacks her from behind. Sky is dragged back in the corner and Winter is tagged back in. Winter attacks Sky more and then tags Love back in. They double irish whip her in the ropes, but Sky hits a double closeline and knocks both of them down. Sky has a chokehold on Love, but she fights out of it as she pushes Sky in the ropes. She goes into the ropes, and Winter hits Sky right in the back. Love continues the assault. She brings Sky to the corner and Winter comes in. She attacks Sky alittle bit, but tags Winter right back in. While Winter chokes Sky with her foot, Love attacks her. Winter goes out, but then tags back in. Love does a choke with her boot now as Winter does shoulder blocks to Sky. Winter brings Sky out and hits a backbreaker.

Winter goes over and tags Love back in. It's a great combination between these two with both of them in control. Love walks toward Sky, but Sky grabs Love and does a small package and.....GETS THE WIN! Winner: Velvet Sky

Sky rolls out of the ring as she celebrates her victory as Love stares down Sky. As Sky walks, ODB hits Sky from behind. She attacks Sky as she is on the ground. ODB is back.....BOOM BABY!

Ms. Tessmacher is stretching backstage. She starts to get upset as she states she has a photo shoot while she just had a match earlier. Eric tells her to stop. He tells her what to do. He then takes off his shirt and pants and shows her some stretches. Just then, Gunner comes in the shot. He tells Tessmacher to beat it. She leaves. Gunner talks to Eric, but not for long as he quickly beats him up. eric falls down to the floor. Gunner finishes him off and then takes the Television Title and leaves. Eric says it's a great idea to put the title in a safe place as he doesn't want it to get damaged.

Ric Flair's music hits and he comes to the ring.

He gets on the mic and tells Robert Roode to come to the ring now......NOW! Here he comes as he walks down the ramp. While he does, it shows the Lockdown PPV of how he made Flair tap. Flair is right in the face of Roode and tells him how he can't sleep since he made him tap out at Lockdown. He asks Roode who he thinks he is making Flair tap. Roode gets on the mic and says Flair came to him first when he came to TNA. He doesn't mean any harm by saying that. The match at Lockdown was a war, so Flair would have done the same thing to Roode. He tells Flair that they should move on. Flair says no as he would have ended Roode's career. Flair says this is Impact Wrestling and he is ready to show some impact and so some wrestling. He goes off to take his coat, but Roode talks again. He tells Flair that Lockdown was business. They should move on. Flair had his time, but now it's Rood's. Flair calls him Anderson's word, @ss-hole. Flair says he beat the man, but he wants Roode to attack him again. Roode says it's over. He goes to walk away, but Flair slaps him. Roode doesn't want to do this. Flair puts his hand on Roode's shoulder. Just then, Roode grabs his arm and puts it an armlock. Flair starts to yell and scream. Just then, Immortal comes out and saves Flair. Flair leaves the ring. They hold Roode down as Bully whips him with the steel chain right across the back, chest, and gut. Bully tells Abyss to get two chairs and he does.

Bully is directing everyone on what to do. They put a chair on top of Roode's arm. Then they lift the other chair and SMASH the top of other chair. Roode screams in pain as they could have broken his arm.

Sting is shown walking backstage. Just then, the yellow boots and blue pants person is walking backstage.

Sting's music hits and here comes the TNA World Champion! He holds the TNA World title in his hand as the fans go wild. He gets in the ring and grabs a mic.

He says that this Impact Wrestling and he loves this place. The fans chant, "Sting, Sting, Sting!" He wants to thank RVD for putting him to the limit on Sunday. He said it was a close match, but he got by. He hasn't lost his focus though. He says when being champion, you are a target. It wasn't until a minute after his victory that Mr. Anderson was in his face. Just then, Sting's music hits. The lights go out and come back on. A vintage style Sting is behind the current style Sting. The real Sting turns around and sees Mr. Anderson dressed up like him in the past. Anderson attacks Sting with his own finishing move. Anderson does Sting's famous yell with his hands over his mouth. Anderson then bends down to be right by Sting. The show fades.
