Kelly Kelly Talks Maxim's Hot 100 List,

Kelly Kelly Talks Maxim's Hot 100 List,
Posted by Dave Mitchell on 05/06/2011 at 12:26 PM

It was announced earlier this week that Kelly Kelly made Maxim's Hot 100 list, which is known as "the definitive list of the world’s most beautiful women." Kelly is ecstatic over making the prestigious list as it is a dream come true.

"This has always been a dream of mine," Kelly Kelly told WWE.com. "It's something I wanted to strive to be on. When I got the announcement that I was going to be on it, I thought that this is such an honor and such a dream come true."

The first person Kelly Kelly shared the big news with is with her mother.

"She was so happy. She knew it was something I always strived to be on, that it was a list I always wanted to be a part of. So she was always behind me 100 percent," she said.

In her Maxim Hot 100 debut, Kelly Kelly ranked at No. 82. She's hoping to continue her reign on the list for years to come, just as former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler has. Keibler is the only other WWE talent to ever make the list, and has been on it every year since 2006.

"Just to be on the Hot 100 with Stacy is exciting. She's somebody I've always admired and I've always looked up to," she said.

Kelly Kelly indicated she isn't too worried about jealousy or backlash from the other Divas, except maybe for Kharma, who's been attacking Divas since her debut on Sunday at Extreme Rules.

"It'll probably give her even more ammo to come after me," Kelly Kelly said.

For those wondering, Kelly Kelly is still dating CORRE member Justin Gabriel.

A recap of Kharma destroying Maryse is shown. Backstage, Yoshi Tatsu was watching last week’s footage. Byron Saxton walks in and Yoshi and he square off. Saxton tells him to calm down and apologizes for the attack last week.

He tells Yoshi that  he wanted to talk to him about something but  Yoshi blows him off to call Maryse. Saxton takes the phone from him and yells at Yoshi for ignoring him. He tells Yoshi he is going it alone until Yoshi got his personal life together.

JTG introduces Novak who said when you are an announcer, you mean nothing, so he was going to do Regal a favor and make him famous.

Regal came out with a mic and said Novak shouldn’t be interested in what people think. He said he was going to stretch him out and called JTG a moppet.

JTG went off and said he was going to show Big Bird how they do it on Sesame Street. Regal said he had no idea what he said, but if it meant they were switching, that was fine. He said JTG was a waste of space…

Ratings Are In For RAW & Tough Enough
Posted by Dave Mitchell on 05/03/2011 at 07:23 PM

The ratings are in for Monday's episodes of WWE RAW and WWE Tough Enough - and the numbers are virtually even with last week. Here's the breakdown:

    - Tough Enough drew a 1.70 rating with an average of 2.44 million viewers. This is still a bit under the 5-week average, which is a 1.86 with 2.64 million viewers.

    - Monday's RAW, which featured a special birthday celebration for The Rock as well as a John Cena vs. Miz WWE title match, drew a 3.45 rating and averaged 5.22 million fans. This is virtually even with last week's WWE Draft edition of RAW, which did a 3.47 with 5.20 million viewers.

Miss USA Reveals Injury While Filming WWE TE

Miss USA Reveals Injury While Filming WWE TE
Posted by Steve Carrier on 05/02/2011 at 02:33 PM

    - Former WWE Tough Enough contestant Miss USA Rima Fakih spoke with BuzzFocus.com last week about her departure from the show. Here are some highlights:

BUZZFOCUS: Hello, Rima. First thing’s first — how are you feeling after your elimination from Tough Enough?

RIMA FAKIH: To tell you the truth, I’m not happy but I’ve feel like accomplished a lot and shattered many stereotypes. But Stone Cold talked to me like a friend. So did Trish and Bill DeMott.

BF: Well, will you continue to pursue a career in wrestling?

RF: Actually, I’m very busy right now. On June 19th I’ll be crowning the new Miss USA at the Planet Hollywood Hotel in Las Vegas. It’ll be live on NBC — please consider that a plug. (Laughs.) I also hope to purse a career in acting. I have a lot of offers on the table.

BF: What kind of criticism (from people to the Miss USA organization)?

RF: I’m sure they were inundated with calls from angry mothers wondering why Miss USA was wrestling. I was criticized after winning the crown for not being blonde or blue-eyed; for being the first Arab-American, Muslim Miss USA. You just have to ignore it.

Funny, I was criticized by some Muslim writers, saying that I tarnished my or my family’s reputation for wanting to wrestle. My mother got so mad — and I told her not to do this — she got so mad that she called the editor of the local paper back home in Dearborn, Michigan to tell him off. (Writer’s Note: Dearborn has the largest concentration of Arab- and Muslim-Americans in the country.)

BF: That’s interesting because most Arab-Americans are huge fans of wrestling. The many I’ve talked to were sad to see you leave Tough Enough.

RF: There are three sports Arabs love — soccer, boxing, and wrestling. I’m Lebanese and my sister’s there. She called me up all excited as was like “you’re wrestling?” This was back when I wasn’t suppose to talk about the show, before it starting airing, so I couldn’t indulge her. But now, since I’m off the show, I can tell you a secret. I’m giving you and your readers an exclusive. The reason why my body was sore, why I was crying all of the time was I had three fractured ribs and didn’t want to tell anyone about it.

BF: Geez, you must have been in a lot of pain. How’d you fracture your ribs?

RF: Well, I was training with Bill one-on-one when I was already injured for about a week. And then he sat on me, on the side with the fractured ribs, and I screamed out loudly. He picks me up and is like “Rima, I’m a father with two daughters. I know when they’re in pain so tell me what’s going on.” So I tell him how I fractured my ribs. I tell him that I was in the ring with Michelle, who claimed to have some wrestling experience but it turned out that she didn’t. And it’s dangerous to be in the ring with someone who doesn’t have any experience. So she kept falling on top of me, and falling, and couldn’t roll back properly and cracked my ribs.

    BF: Ouch.

RF: So Bill told me “There’s a difference in being strong and in being stupid. Rima, you’re being stupid”. After that, I was eliminated.

    Michelle McCool Comments on Departure

    Michelle McCool Comments on Departure
Posted by Steve Carrier on 05/02/2011 at 12:58 PM

Michelle McCool is gone from WWE after losing a Loser Leaves WWE Match to Layla last night at Extreme Rules.

The wrestler formerly known as Awesome Kong made her WWE television debut immediately following McCool's defeat and laid out the multi-time champion with an Implant Buster.

In an indication as to why she's leaving WWE, McCool revealed to WWE.com that she's endured a slew of injuries the past two months.

"My foot has been injured for two months now, broken toe, torn joint capsules, torn MCL. I took a good beating by Layla and Kharma, too. I know I'll be feeling it tonight, tomorrow and probably the next day," McCool said. "But I'll wear it with pride."

McCool was introduced to the WWE audience in 2004 as a competitor in the inaugural Diva Search. Although the former school teacher lost the competition, WWE signed her to a contract in November of that year. She had been wrestling ever since.

"I've been doing this for six years now. Love me or hate me, I hope the WWE Universe can respect that night in and night out, I've given it my all," McCool tearfully said. "This is definitely emotional, and I'm sure it’ll be like that for awhile."

While McCool hopes to see her fans again, it won't be in the ring.

"Thank you for the love and the hate. Thank you for being you and for watching. Hopefully I'll see you around – not in the ring – but maybe someday."

She echoed similar comments on Twitter, writing, "Thx for the love guys....I know there will always be rumors, but that was it - real talk! @mslayel ....nothing but luv 4 u! Luv u all...nite!"

Destination X Plans, Elevation X Returning?
Posted by Steve Carrier on 05/02/2011 at 11:37 PM

    - Mr. Anderson will be chatting live on tnaondemand.com during TNA's Sacrifice pay-per-view.

    - The current feud between AJ Styles and Brother Ray may end with an Elevation X match.

    - The current plan is for TNA's Destination X pay-per-view in July to feature only X Division wrestlers and matches. AJ Styles vs. Kazarian has been talked about as the main event.

TNA has discussed bringing back former X Division stars for one night and the pay-per-view will see guys like Styles and Samoa Joe return to the division for one night.

    Raw results: Star-spangled birthday
By: Greg Adkins May 2, 2011
    Tags: Raw: May 2, 2011
MIAMI – The WWE Universe was clearly in the mood to celebrate. Less than 24 hours after President Barack Obama announced the death of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, it was time to keep those spirits high by celebrating the biggest birthday party on TV.

The Rock celebrated his birthday with the WWE Universe and surprise guest Mr. McMahon (WATCH | PHOTOS)
It’s a shame birthdays only come around once a year. With all the cake, candles and chaos, though, memories of The Rock’s celebratory bash should last at least that long.

With the evening going full force, The Great One thanked the fans in his hometown of Miami and the entire WWE Universe for helping him celebrate. He was then joined by surprise guest Mr. McMahon, who offered some uncharacteristically kind words before unspooling a video tribute to The Rock. Then Grammy-award winning recording artist Mya was introduced and led the crowd in a rendition of “Happy Birthday."

Celebrities offered shout-outs to The Rock (WATCH | PHOTOS)
None other than Samuel L. Jackson, Steve Carrell, Ellen DeGeneres, Dan Marino, Regis & Kelly, Miami Heat players LeBron James and Dwayne Wade and many more celebrities joined WWE Superstars in showing their love for The Rock throughout the course of the evening by offering best wishes to the birthday boy.

WWE Tag Team Champion Kane def. Mason Ryan by Disqualfication (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Mason Ryan is for real. When The New Nexus powerhouse faced off against WWE Tag Team Champion Kane, he manhandled The Big Red Machine. Not that Kane was about to cede any ground – he banged right back. That is, until Ryan’s fellow Nexi bulldozed into the ring and ambushed him.

After the match, Ryan continued to crush his opponent. When Kane’s partner, Big Show, attempted a rescue, The New Nexus softened him up and allowed their behemoth to finish him off with a spear. Afterward, Ryan broke from the group and exited up the entrance ramp alone.

Rey Mysterio & U.S. Champion Kofi Kingston def. Drew McIntyre & Jack Swagger (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The Raw roster has been put on notice. One week after being drafted to the red brand, Rey Mysterio showed why he’s still WWE’s littlest big man. The Master of the 619 teamed with new United States Champion Kofi Kingston to tackle Drew McIntyre & Jack Swagger. With the newly-christened U.S. Champion in his corner, Mysterio pitted altitude against attitude and emerged the winner by pinning his Scottish opponent.

Having observed from ringside, Alberto Del Rio decided it was time for him to make an impression. The Mexican Aristocrat attempted to ambush his masked countryman, but Rey fended off his attack.

WWE Champion John Cena def. The Miz by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS)
After losing his precious title at Extreme Rules to newly crowned WWE Champion John Cena, The Miz was served up a shot at redemption. Unfortunately for him, he whiffed. The night before, during his Triple Threat Steel Cage Match, The Cleveland Screamer succumbed to The Champ, who pinned him for the victory. Tonight, there would be no pin.

Instead, after a give-and-take bout, Miz’s lackey, Alex Riley, handed his boss the WWE Championship while the referee was distracted. The Awesome One used it to clobber his rival, hit him with a Skull Crushing Finale and secure a pin. But that wouldn’t be the last of it.

The ref noticed the title already in the ring and quickly realized what had transpired. As a result, he disqualified Miz, allowing The Champ to retain.

In the locker room area, Miz went on to chastise his lackey for interfering, explaining that he is not a quitter, and he will never quit in his life. So, take that, A-Ry!

Kelly Kelly vs. Maryse ended in a No Contest; Kharma attacked (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Kharma is a … well, let’s just say you don’t want to mess with her. In the wake of a punishing move by Kelly Kelly, Maryse was paid a visit by WWE’s newest Diva. The intimidating colossus interrupted the match and punished Maryse with a chilling lack of compassion. As she did so, Kelly Kelly was left to watch in horror, no doubt wondering if she, too, will be forced to endure the wrath of Kharma.

R-Truth attacked John Morrison (WATCH | PHOTOS)
R-Truth has officially lost the plot. One night after ranting about conspiracy theories and personal vendettas, the suspicious Superstar ambushed John Morrison just prior to their scheduled match.

As officials assisted JoMo up the entrance ramp, Truth’s paranoia propelled him to savagely attack Morrison again, leaving him immobile on the entrance ramp.

The Rock kicked off the biggest birthday party in TV history (WATCH: PART 1 | PART 2 | PHOTOS)
If anyone knows how to light up crowd, it’s The Rock. After all, you don’t earn the nickname The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment for no reason. Prior to kicking off his birthday celebration, though, The Rock, as well as the rest of the audience, acknowledged the events of the past 24 hours. As Lilian Garcia sang a moving rendition of the National Anthem, everyone in the American Airlines Arena reflected on the historic news that United States military personnel had killed Osama bin Laden nearly 10 years after the al Queda leader had coordinated the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

With the reassuring news buoying the festivities, The Great One led his hometown in a poignant rendition of the Pledge of Allegiance. He then encouraged them to have fun and celebrate his birthday in high style. Unfortunately, there’s always one party pooper in the crowd.

Michael Cole, on behalf of the anonymous Raw General Manager, interrupted The Rock as he addressed his frenzied fans. After ripping on Cole, The Brahma Bull invited him into the ring to “apologize.” The cheese-eating announcer was greeted with a Rock Bottom and The People’s Elbow.

When Rock exited to the roars of an appreciative crowd, he was joined by dancers from the Miami Heat basketball team and by rapper Pitbull! Time to par-tay!

    Jim Ross Broken Hand

    Jim Ross Broken Hand

    - Jim Ross confirmed on his Twitter account that he broke his hand during his match against Michael Cole last Monday on Raw. The injury occurred due to Cole's tooth making contact with the bone of J.R.'s fist.

Ross wrote, "Just confirmed by WWE doctors... @JRsBBQ is going to be competing with a broken right hand tonight at @WWE Extreme Rules."

As Ross brawled with Jack Swagger, Cole snuck up on the Hall of Famer and rolled him up for the win.
