Update on Rey Mysterio's future with WWE

Update on Rey Mysterio's future with WWE

Rey Mysterio is still negotiating a new contract with WWE, reports prowrestling.NET. His current contract expires next spring. Mysterio appeared to be on the verge of signing a new deal a few weeks ago, but there are still problems regarding merchandising and other issues. WWE is looking to sign Mysterio to a five-year deal, but he only wants a three-year contract. Officials generally like to re-sign their wrestlers a year before their contracts expire.

TNA Impact Recap: The “Frontline” Digs In
The Voiceover states welcome to the Second Annual Turkey Bowl.
    Source: Gerweck.net

Rhino heads to the ring as the TNA original follow behind. Rhino says he hopes they don’t mind but he renamed the Originals as The TNA Frontline. He exclaims he’ll go to war for you guys, and for this company. He goes outside to the bleachers with the fans and proclaims to the Frontline that we will fight. After stating tonight they will add more members, the Main Event Mafia heads to the ramp (They have on nice suits.) Angle believes that the fans love them but that we will never be them. Angle wants Rhino to rethink this to which Rhino responds by telling Angle to kiss his a** and go to commercial.

Promo for Kurt Angle DVD airs as we come back from commercial.

Jeremy Borash interviews Kurt Angle and tells him that Mick Foley is the special enforcer for his match against Rhino at Final Resolution. Angle punches the Final Resolution poster and looks for Jarrett.

Turkey Bowl Opening Match: Each match will feature a heavyweight, X-Division, and tag team specialist. Rhino vs. Sonjay Dutt w/ So Cal Val vs. Hernandez. Hernandez does damage to Sonjay with a backbreaker and takes off his shirt and throws him across the ring. Rhino shoulder blocks Hernandez to the outside. Sonjay does the go-behind and pushes Rhino for a massive shoulder block from the outside by Hernandez onto Rhino. Sonjay with a hurriconrana on Hernandez. Rhino in the ring as Sonjay is on the outside and Hernandez hits a huge dropkick onto Rhino. Sonjay hits an enziguiri on Hernandez. Rhino hits a belly-to-belly and the Gore for the win.

Angle and Jarrett are in the Founder’s office arguing as usual. Angle states he will have someone watching his back and Jarrett’s favorite stockholder as we head to commercial.

Lauren with the Frontline as Rhino leads a reluctant AJ and Samoa Joe to Team 3D’s locker room. Brother Devon states that they can go. Rhino stops them, calls Brother Ray “Bubba” and tells him that they help build a company (ECW) before. Samoa Joe demands an answer by tonight.
Turkey Bowl Semifinal Match: Consequences Creed vs. Cute Kip vs. Alex Shelley. Early teaming up on Creed who enziguiris Kip to the mat. Creed hits an arm drag on Kip. He overshoots the splash on Shelley to the outside. Shelley hits a knee to Kip’s face on the outside. Creed with somersault clothesline on Shelley. Creed punches Kip to the outside as Creed attempts his finishing maneuver on Shelley but he reverses for a rollup for the win.
The Beautiful People again berate Lauren as Angeline receives a letter from S Palin who states she will accept the check not on “Final Constitution” but next week on “Impass.” Sharmell interrupts to tell them that Booker would like to see them as we go to commercial.

We come back on Jarrett imploring Rhino to focus on Angle as Rhino states after Final Resolution Jarrett will not have to worry about Angle.

Rough Cut Segment deals with Homicide and Hernandez praising each other as to why they are an effective team. Homicide calls his partner Shawn and that they are tight.
Lauren back in 3D’s locker room. Brother Ray knows what the Frontline is going through. Steiner enters and says that the MEM have an offer for them that they can’t refuse. 3D follows and we follow to a commercial.

Christy brings us back as she pleads with Tracy Brooks to give her a chance to wrestle Awesome Kong. Tracy says to defeat Raisha Saeed and she will get Kong at the pay per view.

Turkey Bowl Semifinal Match: Jimmy Rave vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir vs. Matt Morgan. Early double team on Morgan who take him to the ground and work his legs. Obviously Shane Sewell is the referee. Morgan from his knees back body drops Bashir and does an awkward looking cross body on both Rave and Bashir. Morgan then does a fall away slam elevating both men. Morgan goes for his bicycle kick but misses and falls to the outside. Bashir hits his sorry version of a DDT for the victory.

The Beautiful People agrees to provide backup for Sharmell in her Final Resolution match against ODB in exchange for Booker T’s locker room. He begrudgingly agrees as Sharmell gets angry at losing her locker room as we go to commercial.

Angle attempts to recruit Team 3D to enter the MEM. He reminds them of the disrespect that the Motorcity Machine Guns showed them a while back. Steiner states that when they make they decisions to put on suits. They are tailor maid “husky.”

Raisha Saeed vs. Christy Hemme: Hemme with a face buster while Saeed turns things around with a slam and throws her to Kong and Rhaka Kahn on the outside. Kong flings her to the guardrail and Saeed hits a curb stomp. Saeed on the top turnbuckle misses a dropkick but misses. Hemme then misses the Flying Firecrotch Guillotine (FFG). Hemme reverses a power bomb into a rollup for the victory. Kong and Khan try to punish her but Hemme escapes and we head to commercial.

We return with an interview with AJ Styles conducted by Mike (I never shut up during a match, promo) Tenay. Mike wants AJ to tell the world while did his father kick him out. AJ states that he actually left home at 15 after his dad knocked out his mother and AJ punched his father in retaliation. He says he earned respect and left home.
Lauren wants Sting reaction who answers he doesn’t know if AJ is telling the truth. Kevin Nash brushes it off as AJ being a spoiled brat and walks off as we head to commercial.

Shelley tells Lauren that he will win and buy Mick Foley a new wardrobe if he wins.

Turkey Bowl Final: Alex Shelley vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir vs. Rhino. Jeremy Borash does the introductions. Did he just say Bashir weighs 222 pounds? Rhino belly to belly on Bashir and a spine buster on Shelley but the pin is broken up and we head to commercial. We return with a double team on Rhino on the outside and then inside the ring with a double team suplex. Shelley hits an inverted atomic drop on Bashir from the top turnbuckle. Rhino clothesline Bashir and gores Shelley for the pin and win. Rhino receives the $25,000 check and Shelley doesn’t want to wear the turkey suit for the loser. Foley makes his way to the ring as we head to commercial.

Foley present Rhino the check and reminds Shelley of the stipulations of the match. Foley threatens Shelley to wear the suit or he will be fired. Shelley puts on the turkey suit while Foley laughs at the size of Shelley’s “giblets.” Shelley takes the microphone and gives Foley the Stone Cold salute which forces Foley to hit Shelley with an underhook DDT. AJ, Rhino, and Joe head to the ring as we have the final commercial.

A Suicide promo airs as The TNA Frontline head to the ring. MEM appear and head to the ring. Angle introduces the newest members of the MEM, Team 3D wearing the suits. Brother Ray agrees both sides have valid points. 3D swerves us as AJ grabs a baton from Ray suit pocket and attack the Mafia. Sting saves Angle from going through a table as The Frontline Pose to end the show.

DH Smith Says He's Better Than DiBiase Jr.

DH Smith Says He's Better Than DiBiase Jr.

The Miami Herald has an interview today with SmackDown wrestler DH Smith (Harry Smith), 23, the son of "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith.

If you recall, Smith was suspended for 30 days by World Wrestling Entertainment following a violation of the company's Wellness policy a little over a year ago. He eventually returned to television, but did little of note until being taken off the road this past spring and returning to WWE's developmental program. Smith said it was his decision to take one step back and return to Florida Championship Wrestling so he could re-focus, mature, and develop his skills to be ready for when he makes the jump back to the main roster.

"I actually decided to come back to FCW and train full time here," Smith said, "because I just feel like the business is one of those things where you get what you put in, and I want to put in my best efforts, and hopefully we'll receive great accomplishments and achievements."

Smith feels he wasn't quite ready for WWE, as he started working dark matches and house shows when he was 20. "When I first get started with WWE on some dark matches and house shows, I was like 20, 21," Smith said. "I was quite young, and it was definitely a very good experience, but at the same time I wasn't really ready. I hadn't grown up yet. Not to say I was immature, but I just hadn't grown up -- from a physical standpoint as far as filling out and naturally tarning hard and letting it all sort of happen."

In addition to Smith, there are a number of other second generation wrestlers trying to make names for themselves in WWE. Smith believes he's better than all of them, including Ted DiBiase, Jr.

"Well, this may sound kind of brash, but I think that I'm better than all of them. Joe Hennig is good. Ted DiBiase Jr. has certainly worked hard enough to get to his position, but they aren't from the dungeon," Smith said. "It's only going to be a matter of time before I go up to SmackDown, and then I'm going to show the wrestling world exactly why I am the past, present and future."

Smith feels being the son of "The British Bulldogg" and being a member of the legendary Hart family has helped him get his foot in the door, whereas he probably wouldn't have received the opportunity otherwise. Smith hopes to take advantage of his opportunity in WWE.

"I feel I have great ability, but there's no question being a member of the Hart family has helped me land a job here," he said. "I'm not sure what the fans are going to think. Are they going to compare me to him? Are they going to think, 'Oh, yeah, he's all right, but he will never be as good as his dad.' Being a part of my family does help, but at the same time you really have to step it up."

    Mark Henry vs. Finlay (No-contest)
"The All-American American" Jack Swagger def. Tommy Dreamer (Extreme Rules Match)
    DJ Gabriel def. local athlete

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Looking for a win after Sunday’s loss in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match, Mark Henry came to Providence ready to trounce the fighting Irishman, Finlay. Watch all of the action unfold in the ECW Quick Cut and check out WWE.com’s exclusive photos.

Mark Henry vs. Finlay (No-contest) (WATCH | PHOTOS)
With no love lost between the two, Finlay and Mark Henry battled it out in front of the capacity crowd in the Dunkin' Donuts Center. But before a winner could be determined, chaos ensued when WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas forced Hornswoggle into the ring and Henry hoisted him off the mat. Going into fatherly protection mode, Finlay smashed the World’s Strongest Man in the knee with his shillelagh, causing him to go down in pain. Next, the fighting Irishman jumped from the second rope, driving Henry to the canvas again.

Just when it looked like Finlay had Henry where he wanted, the father had to once again come to the rescue of his son, who Atlas was ready to pummel outside the ring. Finlay exited the ring and used his trusty shillelagh to take down the powerful Atlas. Henry retaliated, striking Finlay in the back of the head and slamming him into the ramp barrier. But it was Finlay who ended it, when he viciously smashed both Atlas and Henry with his shillelagh to rescue his son from their grip.

Jack Swagger def. Tommy Dreamer (PHOTOS)
In Tommy Dreamer’s domain – an Extreme Rules Match – the ECW Original took on the younger, cockier Jack Swagger in a match that included Kendo sticks, steel chairs, garbage cans and a table. After a few near pinfalls from each Superstar, “The All-American American” abruptly ended the encounter when he drove Dreamer through the table with a commanding Swagger Bomb. The maneuver earned Swagger his second consecutive victory over Dreamer.

DJ Gabriel def. local athlete (PHOTOS)
DJ Gabriel is proving to be a shining star in ECW General Manager Theodore Long’s New Superstar Initiative. With lovely Alicia Fox in his corner at ringside, the newcomer picked up his second win by destroying his opponent with a Flying European Uppercut.

    MATT HARDY VERLENGT CONTRACT

Matt Hardy talks about his injury and contract

    Source: http://www.charleston.net

ECW champ Matt Hardy told The Post and Courier last week that he has re-signed with WWE.

Hardy, who recently suffered an injury to his previously surgically repaired left knee during an ECW title match against Fit Finlay, says the knee is doing much better and he will compete at tonight’s Survivor Series pay-per-view.

“I hyperextended it and tore ligaments in the back of it midway through the European tour,” said Hardy. “I had to wrestle on television a couple times after that, but what do you do? You wrap it up and go. But I’m pretty good at being responsible whenever I do get injured, and I do what I need to do as far as icing and heating and giving it the treatment it needs.”

Hardy is taking a few days off prior to the pay-per-view and seeing a chiropractor.

“It’s going to be fine. I was lucky. I had three or four days to kind of heel and rehab it. It’s one of those things. It comes with the territory.”

World Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston def. Kane by diqualification to progress in the Intercontinental Championship Tournament
Shawn Michaels & Rey Mysterio def. The Miz & John Morrison

PROVIDENCE, R.I. —  Just 24 hours after Survivor Series, where John Cena made the most of his homecoming by winning the World Heavyweight Title from Chris Jericho, Raw had three eagerly anticipated returns of its own. Not only did The Champ make an appearance, having a brief altercation with the former titleholder, but Monday night also saw former Women’s Champion Melina lead a team of Divas to victory, with the Green Bay Loudmouth himself, Mr. Kennedy, making an appearance as well.

WATCH all of the action now in the Raw Quick Cut and check out WWE.com's exclusive ringside PHOTOS.

Chris Jericho attempted to hijack World Heavyweight Champion John Cena’s return to Raw, but was attacked by The Champ. (PHOTOS)
Before World Heavyweight Champion John Cena could even make his much anticipated return to Raw, the bitter Chris Jericho attempted to steal the new champion’s thunder, claiming that he plans on winning back the title at Armageddon. Cena then gave Jericho an opportunity to confront him face-to-face, coming out to a thunderous reception from all those in attendance. The World Heavyweight Champion explained the difference between himself and Jericho, stating that he actually cares about the many members of the WWE Universe.

After the first-ever Undisputed Champion once again stated his intention to beat Cena at Armageddon and continued to belittle the WWE Universe, The Champ snapped. The World Heavyweight Champion proceeded to brutalize Jericho, throwing him against the announce table, bludgeoning him with the steel stairs and finally locking him into an STFU.

Mickie James, Candice Michelle & Melina def. Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix, Katie Lea Burchill & Jillian. (PHOTOS)
Prior to their Six-Diva Tag Match, Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix, Katie Lea Burchill & Jillian made their way to the ring where Jillian performed a particularly ear-splitting rendition of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.” As their opponents entered, one was conspicuously absent, as only Mickie & Candice stood in the ring. Then, making her surprise return to Raw after months out following a run-in with Beth Phoenix and a severe ankle injury, Melina came out to a warm welcome from the WWE Universe. The former two-time Women’s Champion’s return was a triumphant one as she carried her team to victory.

World Tag Team Champion CM Punk def. Snitsky to advance to the next round of the Eight-Man Intercontinental Title Tournament. (PHOTOS)
As Intercontinental Champion William Regal looked on, World Tag Team Champion CM Punk and Snitsky fought it out, trying to earn an opportunity to compete for the 2008 King of the Ring’s title. In spite of the yellow-toothed monster’s decided size and strength advantage, CM Punk utilized his extensive martial arts background to put down Snitsky and move one step closer to another championship.

    Goldust def. Santino Marella (PHOTOS)
One Superstar who wasn’t invited to participate in the Intercontinental Title Tournament was Santino Marella. Though the Italian Superstar recently lost the championship to William Regal, he was unable to compete in the tournament because someone else requested to face him in the ring. To Santino’s surprise, that someone was former Intercontinental Champion Goldust, who in spite of his questionable appearance, utilized his significant in-ring ability to defeat the star of “Santino’s Casa.”

Chris Jericho pinned Randy Orton to win a Triple Threat Match against The Legend Killer and Batista (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In what was one of the most anticipated matches of the night, Chris Jericho won a Triple Threat Match against Batista and Randy Orton to become the No. 1 contender to John Cena’s World Heavyweight Championship. Though he entered the ring at a decided disadvantage against two ring warriors so hungry for championship gold, the first-ever Undisputed Champion once again defied the odds, pinning the Legend Killer, and earning the right to face John Cena at Armageddon for the title Jericho just lost the night before at Survivor Series.

World Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston def. Kane to advance to the next round of the Eight-Man Intercontinental Title Tournament (PHOTOS)
Raw also saw the first match of the Eight-Man Intercontinental Title Tournament, with the winner going on to face Intercontinental Champion William Regal with his coveted gold at stake. As WWE Hall of Famer and the first Intercontinental Champion Pat Patterson looked on from ringside, World Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston faced the ruthless Kane.

Though the Jamaican Superstar has proven himself a match for bigger and stronger adversaries in the past, Kingston won this contest when Kane was disqualified. After the match, the Big Red Monster battered his opponent with the stairs, but Stephanie McMahon appeared, stopping Kane by granting him the privilege of being the first Superstar to face John Cena back on Raw next week, though the match would not be for The Champ’s World Heavyweight Title.

Shawn Michaels & Rey Mysterio def. The Miz & John Morrison; afterward, JBL attacked the Shaman of Sexy, preventing him from harming HBK (PHOTOS)
The first contest of the night was a rematch between Shawn Michaels & Rey Mysterio and a tag team that calls itself the greatest of the 21st century, The Miz & John Morrison. Though the Shaman of Sexy and the self-proclaimed Chick Magnet defeated HBK & the Master of the 619 just one week earlier, their opponents apparently found a way to mesh better as a team, and defeated the “Dirt Sheet” duo.

Following the match, Miz & Morrison took out their frustration by attacking Mysterio and Michaels, but JBL, who had been observing the entire match from his limo, rushed to the ring, preventing any further harm from coming to his opposing Survivor Series captain by delivering a huge boot to John Morrison’s face. JBL later admitted that his act was the result of a mutually beneficial offer he had made to The Showstopper earlier in the day, though Michaels was still in the process of considering it.

Later, Rey Mysterio was interviewed by Todd Grisham about his match against The Miz next week as part of the Intercontinental Title Tournament. The session was interrupted by Mike Knox, however, who came in and stared at Mysterio, attempting to intimidate the Ultimate Underdog in much the same was as he did Evan Bourne the week prior.

Shane McMahon set a No. 1 Contender's Match for the night, which was turned into a Triple Threat by Stephanie McMahon
Raw opened with an appearance by Shane McMahon, who set a match between Batista and Chris Jericho in order to determine who should be the new No. 1 contender to John Cena’s World Heavyweight Championship. Shane’s sister Stephanie then arrived, making the contest a Triple Threat Match by throwing Randy Orton into the mix, before getting into a heated exchange with her brother. The argument ended with Executive Vice President Stephanie McMahon slapping her brother, also an Executive Vice President, and Shane angrily leaving his sister to run the show by herself.

WWE sends legal letter to Brutus Beefcake

According to a post this morning on TMZ.com, World Wrestling Entertainment's legal team has sent former performer Ed Leslie a cease-and-desist letter requesting that he stop using his recognizable Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake ring name. WWE claims they own the trademark to the name and said Leslie stopped using it when he worked for World Championship Wrestling during the Nineties.

Leslie's team of lawyers say he has been using the name since 2000 and that World Wrestling Entertainment has not taken any action until now.

TMZ speculates that it could have something do with his role on Hulk Hogan's reality show, Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling, which currently airs on CMT. Leslie is a trainer on the reality show.

    Brian Kendrick Doesn't Like Laws

The latest issue of WWE Magazine features an interview with SmackDown wrestler The Brian Kendrick. When asked what his holiday wish is, he makes an interesting quote. Kendrick said, "A world without laws. I don't like the idea of people telling you that that there's a right way to live and wrong way to live, and that's what laws do."

    GOLDUST IS BACK!!!

    Former Star Returning To WWE
Posted by Randy Gordon on 11/20/2008 at 06:28 PM

Dustin Runnels is returning to World Wrestling Entertainment as he has signed his contract. Runnels recently faxed his signed contract to officials. He has not been given a start date, but is expected to end up on the Raw brand. Head Raw writer Brian Gewirtz is pushing for him the most as he's always been a fan of the Goldust character. Upon his return, he will likely play a comedic role rather than a risque/serious one.

Lena Yada praat over haar ontslag bij de wwe

Recently released WWE Diva speaks out
Posted by Randy Gordon on 11/20/2008 at 04:09 PM

Lena Yada has issued a statement regarding her recent release from World Wrestling Entertainment. As it turns out, she was in the hospital visiting her sick father when she was informed of her dismissal from the company two Mondays ago. The WWE site a did a story on her father this past year, who is currently suffering from sarcoidosis, an immune system disorder that manifests as a restrictive disease in the lungs. Her father was sick this time a year ago as well, and almost prevented her from accepting WWE's contract offer because she'd have to go on the road. Yada admits to seeing her release from the company coming. It's still up in the air whether she'll continue her career in professional wrestling. Yada posted the message at the www.Unique-Divas.com forum. Yada registered on the site when she was involved in the Diva Search contest last year, and would occasionally post during her time in WWE. Here is her message in its entirety:

So I guess its time i made a statement

I got a call monday morning when i was at the hospital with dad. Kinda knew it was coming to be honest. Am I sad? Yes. Will I move on? Yes. If i will continue to train or seek another outlet is still up in the air.

There are many rumors circulating in the system about the reason for my release. Only Vince himself will know. I've had a very fulfilling time so far with WWE. Could i have gone further? I believe yes. BUT! we all have to remember that it is a business at the end of the day. The door is still open for a possible return in the future though so let's just wait and see shall we? ;-)

When darkness surrounds, it is only opportunity for the light to shine even brighter

Never give up on your dreams. Life is filled with disappointment and will challenge you constantly, but it is what you do in the aftermath that defines you as a person.

    Love and Aloha,
    Lena

Super crazy en kenny naar TNA???

Released WWE stars heading to TNA?

No word from within TNA yet if there are any concrete plans for any of the recently released WWE Superstars. Ken Doane (Dykstra) is at least a name under discussion and they would like to use Super Crazy when his non-compete ends as they've already received indications that he would come in if an offer was made.

MANCHESTER, England – With Survivor Series just two days away, Last Rites were administered, twin Divas were in action and one extreme Superstar earned himself a place at the championship table.

Jeff Hardy def. WWE Champion Triple H (Non-Title) (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Jeff Hardy reigned supreme over WWE Champion Triple H in a non-title match thanks in part to a distraction by Vladimir Kozlov. After Hardy hurled himself out of the ring and onto Kozlov, The Game attempted to suplex him back in. However, the Charismatic Enigma quickly countered and rolled the champion up for the important victory. After the match, the Moscow Mauler attacked – leaving both Superstars writhing in pain at his feet. As a result of his win, Hardy has earned himself the opportunity to join the WWE Championship Match at Survivor Series, making it a Triple Threat Match. (Full story)

Undertaker gives Big Show his Last Rites (PHOTOS)
As Undertaker was delivering “Last Rites” to Big Show in preparation for their Casket Match at Survivor Series (Full story), The World’s Largest Athlete decided to make an appearance at ringside – accompanied by SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero and Chavo Guerrero. However,  Vickie Guerrero was somehow transported into the ring, allowing The Deadman to throw her into the casket and close the lid. Big Show then sacrificed Chavo, hurling the self-proclaimed "Mexican Warrior" into The Phenom's clutches in order to get Vickie to safety. Undertaker Tombstoned Chavo and closed the casket as a message to his Survivor Series opponent.

Brie and Nikki Bella def. Natalya & Victoria (PHOTOS)
The Bella Twins picked up their first win as a tag team on SmackDown. After Victoria hit the Widow’s Peak on one of the twins, the other stopped the pin by dropkicking the former Women’s Champion. When Natalya charged into the ring to retaliate, the referee returned the third-generation Diva to her corner. The fresh Bella twin used that opportunity to pull a switch, changing places with her half-conscious sister to pick up the win.

The Brian Kendrick & Ezekiel Jackson def. WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo (Non-Title) (PHOTOS)
As Primo attempted to beat The Brian Kendrick, Ezekiel Jackson stormed into the ring and delivered a hard kick to the head. When Carlito responded to the aggression on his brother, Jackson picked the Caribbean Superstar up and threw him out of the ring like a rag doll. He then dragged Kendrick to their corner and made the tag himself. Jackson proceeded to slam Primo into the mat and pick up the win for his team.

The Miz & John Morrison def. Jesse & Festus (PHOTOS)
Just when Festus was gearing up to finish off The Miz, John Morrison suddenly rang the bell, returning the Corn-fed Colossus to his catatonic state while the match was still going on. This allowed the self-proclaimed Chick Magnet to hit Festus with the Reality Check, giving “The Dirt Sheet” co-stars another huge triumph.

Local athlete def. Montel Vontavious Porter  (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The Great Khali once again came down to the ring during MVP’s match. This time, when the Ballin’ Superstar turned to face him, the local athlete that was facing MVP rolled him up for the pin. After the bell, a furious MVP swung at the Punjabi Playboy, who responded by knocking him out with one shot. As a result of the loss, MVP once again failed to earn his incentive bonus.

ECW Champion Matt Hardy & R-Truth def. United States Champions Shelton Benjamin & Mark Henry (PHOTOS)
After Matt Hardy took down both the World’s Strongest Man and WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas outside the ring, R-Truth scored the victory by hitting the Gold Standard with his brutal Corkscrew Elbow/Axe Kick combination to pick up the victory.
