Edge & Rey Mysterio vs. WWE Champion The Miz & Alberto Del Rio ended in a No Contest (WATCH | PHOTOS) Just when it looked like Edge and Rey Mysterio were about to win their tag team main event with a 619-Spear combination, they were interrupted by the explosive entrance of the irate World Heavyweight Champion Kane. As the mayhem unfolded, the entire SmackDown locker room sprinted to the ring to try and separate The Devils Favorite Demon from The Rated-R Superstar. When The Big Red Monster broke free and tried to reengage his maniacal adversary, Edge Speared him to the canvas.

WWE Tag Team Champions Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov def. Chavo Guerrero & Tyler Reks (WATCH | PHOTOS) With Tyler Reks at his side, Chavo Guerrero took on Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov in a tag team match for the second week in a row. Despite the unpredictable new partner, Guerrero once again fell to the Cobra, courtesy of Santino.
The WWE TLC Tag Team Tables Match Divas confronted each other (WATCH | PHOTOS) Michelle McCool and Layla came before the WWE Universe to officially protest their WWE TLC Tag Team Tables Match against Divas Champion Natalya & Beth Phoenix (Match preview), claiming the match was too barbaric to be Diva. Their pay-per-view opponents soon emerged, revealing a custom table with unflattering depictions of both members of Team Lay-Cool painted on it. When Michelle and Layla attacked, Layla nearly ended up suplexed into her gift. But, Michelle rescued her partner-in-flawless and the two quickly scrambled out of the ring.
WWE Champion The Miz def. Rey Mysterio (WATCH | PHOTOS) As Alex Riley was distracting the referee, an emerging Alberto Del Rio tripped up Rey Mysterio, nearly costing him his match with The Miz. While The Master of the 619 dished out retribution on his aristocratic adversary, The Miz regrouped. Mysterio went for the splash, but The Awesome One lifted his knees, paving the way for him to pick up the quick victory.
After the bell, Del Rio attacked Mysterio, inciting Edge to take up the fight. The Miz got involved as well, convincing SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long to set up a tag team main event between the four Superstars.
Dashing Cody Rhodes def. Chris Masters (WATCH | PHOTOS) Successfully avoiding any direct blows to his handsome face, Cody Rhodes redeemed his Master Lock Challenge defeat one week ago, blasting Chris Masters with the Cross Rhodes for the victory.
Kofi Kingston & Kaval def. Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger (WATCH | PHOTOS) On Monday Night Raw, a Triple Threat Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match was announced for WWE TLC (Match preview). On SmackDown, Kofi Kingston triumphed over his pay-per-view opponents in tag team action, using Trouble in Paradise to overcome Dolph Ziggler. After the match, Swagger knocked his defeated bleach-blond partner to the canvas, making it clear that it will be every man for himself at WWE TLC.
Edge justified his recent maniacal actions (WATCH | PHOTOS) Edge came before the WWE Universe to explain his actions against Kane and Paul Bearer in recent weeks, saying that his goal was to get down to The Big Red Monsters evil level and face him at his own game. The Master Manipulator then promised that the end will justify the means when he beats Kane this Sunday to become a 10-time Word Champion.
Ashley Valence, who has not appeared on NXT since Season 2, has been removed from the NXT Superstars section. She conducted the ring announcing for last week's episode of WWE Superstars, but was not used this week. She notably announced Zack Ryder as "Ezekiel Jackson" during the Dec. 6 taping, which was dubbed for the taped broadcast.

Drew McIntyre def. Yoshi Tatsu (WATCH | PHOTOS) For a Superstar as rotten as the sinister Drew McIntyre, it isnt enough to just defeat an opponent the mad Scotsman likes to punish. This was the former Intercontinental Champions intent going into tonights showdown with the exciting Yoshi Tatsu, but the Scottish Superstar had a more difficult time controlling his lighting quick opponent than he expected. Resilient and agile, Tatsu kept a quick pace that had McIntyre spinning in circles, but the Chosen One eventually connected with a devastating Future Shock DDT to stop The Cardiac Kid.
Zack Ryder def. Darren Young (WATCH | PHOTOS) As a former member of the vile Nexus, Darren Young is fighting an uphill battle to make a name for himself as a singles competitor in WWE. The powerful newcomer continued to struggle tonight as he had difficulty gaining momentum against Zack Ryder. Although he has gained a reputation as a goofball, The Long Island Loudmouth can be downright vicious in the ring and showed this mean streak tonight. Brutalizing Young with a series of strikes, Ryder battered his opponent before nailing the Rough Ryder for the win.
JTG def. Curt Hawkins (WATCH | PHOTOS) Both JTG and Curt Hawkins suffered disappointing singles losses on last Thursdays WWE Superstars, so each competitor was looking to turn their momentum around tonight. Displaying the unrepentant aggressiveness hes known for, Hawkins charged JTG early and scored with a series of devastating slams. But the Brooklyn Superstar weathered the offensive storm and used his unorthodox style to find victory with the Shout Out.

Shawn Michaels posted a video on his YouTube page this morning regarding his future with WWE. Shawn announced that he and WWE have reached a deal that will see him stick around with the company for a long time.
Shawn says he's not returning to the ring and is not the RAW General Manager. Shawn also says that returning as an on-air character has not been discussed. It sounds like Shawn will have some sort of behind-the-scenes role with WWE as he says he wants to help them move forward. Shawn makes it clear that there's been no talk of him returning to TV.

Why he felt he needed to break ties with the WWE, his transition over the past two months, & where he feels he's at mentally/physically/emotionally right now: "It's been nice for me, because I needed to get away. One, my body was just so beat up and so abused. One thing with Jeff was that he took some time off during his run with WWE. I never did. The only time I was out was when I was injured, and during that time, I was doing intense rehab, so I had twelve and a half years straight that I worked everyday. I missed one day during that whole while, and that was when my girlfriend at the time was having neck surgery. Besides that, I never missed a show. I never asked off for a day. I worked hurt, I worked through injuries, and it just came to a point that I felt like between where I was at being utilized on TV, and the injuries catching up with me, and me not being in the top condition I needed to be at that I needed to take time off or get away. I started talking about possibly getting some time off or getting a release, and I eventually did what I had to do to get a break. I'm happy about it, I'm been happier & healthier physically, mentally, & emotionally than I've been in a long, long time. I've really enjoyed just having my own schedule. It's been a blast. I've just been loving life. The last couple of months have been two of the greatest months of my life."
His in-ring future in 2011: Whether him showing up in TNA alongside his brother (Jeff Hardy) is a foregone conclusion and/or if he would consider exploring the opportunity to work with Ring of Honor in the new year: "Obviously, that's naturally where people's thoughts are going to go, and you can't blame them for that. Obviously, that's not something I would say that isn't crazy or isn't out of the question at all. Jeff's done well there and had a lot of success, and ever since 2005, I've actually maintained a very good relationship with Dixie Carter, so that's a possibility, but who knows. I definitely haven't locked anything in stone yet. You also mentioned Ring of Honor. I think Cary (Silkin) does a great job with those guys. He reminds me, on a smaller level & a smaller budget, like the old ECW crew, because he'll have guys that are really good, and then, all of sudden, TNA or WWE will suck up his top stars, and he'll have to build some more guys. I really appreciate that fact, and I appreciate that there are territories & smaller organizations out there that are still building talent for the future. It would be great if Ring of Honor could get a more prominent television following as they go."
Setting the record straight on the Internet reports from last Sunday's TNA Final Resolution Pay-Per-View involving his brother, the story creating a life of its own online, & the latest update on Jeff's status: "Jeff's doing great. The whole thing with that scenario was so blown out of proportions it was crazy. Jeff's been working on the road with a full schedule for TNA. He actually has a deal where he doesn't have to do every show, but since Jeff is the champion, he has committed himself to the product & the company. He really believes in them, and he actually said that he would do all the shows that he possibly can for them. It was very cool that they allowed him to be off during the last half of the month of October when his child was born. Basically he did the house shows, they flew over to do the shows over in Abu Dhabi, flew back over, he was at home for less than 24 hours, he flew to Detroit where he had to do a lot of promotion that day for an appearance at a Monster Truck deal thing, he went to the Monster Truck thing that night, slept two or three hours, he had to go to Orlando and actually go straight to the building when he got in, because he had three Make-A-Wishes that morning. He met his Make-A-Wish kids, and instead of going back to the hotel to crash and sleep there where he was afraid he was going to oversleep and not make it back to the building before call time, he actually crashed in one of the executive's offices there, and was just sleeping to catch up on sleep, someone walked in, saw him sleeping, and from there, the story got exaggerated & blown out of proportion, because that morning he was taking a nap that he 'wasn't in a condition to wrestle.' Anyone who watched the match could obviously tell that he was 100% fine. He actually had a hell of a match with Matt Morgan that night, and I thought he did a great job."
Why the WWE is "going to find themselves in a really strange position" in the next several years, "the changing of the guard," in the industry, & his take on the recent online debate/argument of the push of the WWE's recent "youth movement": "The business is in a really weird position now, where there's really getting to be a changing of the guard. The Undertakers, the Triple H's, the Shawn Michaels, who's retired already, those guys are really & truly on their last legs. It has to be new guys that completely uprise and come around. The WWE is going to find themselves in a really strange position in the couple of years, because they have pushed this youth movement. Kevin Nash made a statement saying 'Youth isn't what sells.' I think that myself & Christian were two guys who have gained the respect of the fans. People know us, and they respect us, and we're very believable in the ring. You have to take guys like that, and you have to utilize those guys and get the most out of them. You can't take new guys, just because they are fresh faces, and expect the fans to accept them, and appreciate them, and buy tickets for them overnight. The WWE has tried to do that youth movement; you could do that, but there has to be a very fine line: a mixture of veterans & younger guys. It's funny, because I know Kevin Nash had one side & Chris Jericho had one side, and I kind of fell in the middle of both of those (to the argument/debate). I think you truly need a combination. I think the WWE is trying to push so many young guys at one time right now that they're going to find themselves in a really weird spot in a year or so, where all of their older stars that are extremely over, if you have an injury to a John Cena or a Randy Orton, you're in a tough situation."

R-Truth is out of action for a few weeks with a case of walking pneumonia. Truth got sick this past week and went into convulsions while traveling. Several WWE stars rushed Truth to the hospital when the convulsions began. Truth was told he could have died if they hadn't rushed him to the hospital because oxygen wasn't getting to his brain.
- Randy Orton continues to have issues with his neck and has been encouraged to take time off. He's only appearing at television events for the time being and undergoing therapy.
TNA president Dixie Carter announced today that the company has re-signed Samoa Joe.
"Proud to report the re-signing of Samoa Joe," Carter wrote on her Twitter page. "I feel good knowing that I have a focused and determined Samoan on my side. Congrats to us both."
Opening Segment Mr. Anderson was shown backstage earlier today. He pitched a fit and Matt Morgan walked up. He asked what Anderson was so upset about. He said he was on the board with him to face Jeff Hardy. He said he figured Anderson would be happy. Anderson said his word was his bond. Morgan said it wasnt good enough. Anderson said it would have to be. Morgan made his ring entrance. He cut a promo on choosing to protect Anderson and turning his back on Fortune and company. He said he knew he made the right decision. He said tonight he and Anderson would face Hardy and Kazarian. Morgan said he couldnt protect Anderson anymore once that bell rang. Morgan said he would have Andersons back, but he wanted to know if Anderson really had his. Andersons music hit and he made his ring entrance. Anderson said he appreciated what all Morgan had done for him, but he could take care of himself. Anderson he was here to wrestle. He asked if Morgan needed a note from his mommy or his doctor. Morgan said if Anderson really loved all his fans that call themselves assholes, he would show the nonexistent doctors note. Morgan asked about their pledge to Chris Nowiskis Sports Institute. He said when piss-ant promoters like Eric Bischoff tried to make them perform hurt, they were supposed to tell them to f-off. He said he wanted to know if Anderson has his back 100 percent. Jeff Hardys music hit and he came out to the ramp. He said they should get married at Genesis instead of having a match. Morgan says that Hardy is Bischoffs bitch and Anderson says that Hardys makeup is running. Hardy said that Morgan could still be with Fortune and Morgan denies. He and Morgan stared at each other. Hardy said all the marks in the building knew they were nothing but con-men.

Robbie whipped Lethal and Cookie grabbed his leg to trip him. Christie Hemme ran to the ring and attacked Cookie. She handcuffed Cookie and her together as Robbie stomped Lethal in the ring

Lethal gets a roll-up as soon as we come back from commercial, but only gets two. Robbie gives Lethal a stiff clothesline and covers, but only gets two. Robbie slaps and piefaces Lethal, then rocks him with two kicks before hes countered by Lethal. Lethals advantage doesnt last long before Robbie grabs Lethals hair and slams him to the ground for a two count. Christie Hemme, who has Cookie handcuffed to her, uses her free arm to hit Cookies handcuffed arm before we thankfully go back to the ring. Robbie E gets Lethal in a chinlock. Lethal tries to fight out but Robbie cinches in the chinlock harder. Lethal powers out and start trading right hands, with Lethal getting the better of the exchange. Lethal chops and suplexes , and then hits the Lethal Combination. Lethal looks to the crowd before going up top and nailing the big elbow drop. Lethal covers but Robbie kicks out at two. Robbie plays possum and catches Lethal with a kick. Robbie tries to pin him with his feet on the ropes, but Earl Hebner catches him. Taking too long to get up top, Lethal cuts Robbie off and superplexs him. Cookie tries to hand Robbie some hairspray but Hemme grabs it and sprays Robbie with it. Lethal hits the Lethal Injection and covers for two.

AJ Styles is backstage with Eric Bischoff watching on a monitor. AJ starts rambling about Robbie E not being a good champion. Bischoff asks AJ what irony is before he decides to tell him. He says its ironic that AJs trashtalking Robbie E for losing the title when AJ lost the Television Title to Douglas Williams two weeks ago. Bischoff tells him he better win it back or hell look for a new jabroni, or someone who can do a Flair imitation. Biscoff notes that Lethal does a pretty damn good one.
-Commercial Break-
Doug Williams is outside and is asked about beating Styles with his own move. He said he thought it was appropriate. He called Magnus over and they talked about him and Desmond Wolfe. Magnus said that Chelsea is gone, Women arent good for Wrestling. He also says Desmond would be back soon and his football kick is over. He went into the locker room and AJ Styles attacked him, beating him all over the trailer, depsite the yelling of Tara and Maidson Rayne. He yelled that he was refreshed when he was finished
Backstage, Eric Young walked up with a title belt on and two Hooters girls on his arm to Orlando Jordan. He asked where Young got the title. Young said he found it in the trash. He sent OJ and the girls away and then asked for advice from his Sensei. Kendrick talks about being a champion and that One mans treasure is another mans trash.
Jeff Hardy says theres a lot of Bulls**t going on in TNA. Hardy says hes gotton in Morgan and Andersons head and that he is the star of Immortal while his partner tonight, Kazarian, is the star of Fortune.
Generation Me comes out and we are sent back to Mickie James performance last week that was interrupted by the team and Tara. Eric Young comes out with the old TNA Title around his waist and the two Hooter girls on his arm. Apparently there promoting a Hooters Snow Angels Special on Spike TV. EY grabs the mic and says after a EY chant that everyone knows he is a fighting champion and that he is putting his title on the line in a Battle Royal. He runs in the ring and throws referee Andrew Thomas over the top rope. Andrew Thomas slides back in the ring and calls for the bell.
Generation Me vs. EY and OJ
Eric throws both of Generation Me over the top rope. EY and Jordan high five before atomic drops him and knocks him over the top rope. Eric celebrates before Gen Me attacks him from behind. Jordan gets back in the ring. Gen Me gets some offense in on Jordan. Max gets tagged in and they both go in the outside to admire the Hooter Girls. Young hits a Suicide Plancha and tags in. After launching himself off the ropes OJ tags back in and makes Max submit to a variation of the Monkey Hold.

Mickie James is with Eric Bischoff and asks him who her partner is for her match next. Bischoff tells her its Miss Techmacher. Mickie says shes not a wrestler and Bischoff counters by saying she wasnt that much of a secretary either. In fact, Bischoff says he hopes shes a better wrestler than she was a secretary. She only had two moves, and neither would help her in the ring.

Knockout Tag Title Tournament Semi-Final :Mickie James and Miss Techmacher vs. Madison Rayne and Tara
Rayne and James start it off. Rayne asks for Techmacher and James reluctantly tags her in. Rayne mocks Techmacher until she shoves Rayne. Rayne pushes back and Techmacher answers with three armdrags, a hip toss, and dropkick. Rayne grabs Techmachers hair and slams her to the ground. Rayne gives Techmacher a face buster and taunts James. Techmacher capitalizes by rolling Rayne up for a two count. Rayne looks shocked before going to town on Techmacher, pulling her nose. Rayne goes for a flying crossbody off the ropes but misses and Techmacher makes the hot tag to James. James clears house of Rayne with forearms and a neckbreaker. Rayne gets the advantage by hiting the stomach, but its shortlived because James gets the Lou Thez Press. James goes for the DDT, but gets distracted by Tara. Tara nails James with her brace and Rayne covers for three.

Miss Techmacher checks on Mickie James as the graphic on screen shows that The Beautiful People will face Madison Rayne and Tara for the Knockout Tag Titles Next Week.
Backstage, Kazarian was walking and talking about his match. He walked on Rob Terry and wished him luck in his big match. He said a lot of important eyes were on him tonight and Terry needed all the help he could get. Terry told him to screw off. Kazarian threatened him and Terry stormed off. Kazarian shook his head and walked away.
-Commercial Break-
The Pope collected another donation (all in twenty dollar bills.) Brother Ray made his ring entrance as a video recapped his match last week. Ray said no one had never been worthy of being his tag team partner, especially Devon. He said Devon called him a bully, and he said he is Bully Ray. He said he started his single career tonight and he picked the biggest and toughest guy in the locker room to kick it off with.
Amazing Red vs. Bully Ray
Ray hit a big clothesline as soon as Red got in the ring. Ray throws Red in a turnbuckle and rams his shoulder in Reds gut. Ray gives Red a clubby blow to the back and a right hand. Another clubby blow by Ray leads to the crowd starting We want Devon chant. Ray tosses Red like a ragdoll and taunts the crowd some. Ray hits Red and trashtalks him before Red punches back and gets missile dropkick. Ray hit a big boot and then the Bully Drop/Bubba Bomb for the pin and win.
Winner by pinfall: Bully Ray
Ray grabs a chair from in front of the Hooter girls and gets in the ring. The crowd chants for Devon and his music plays. He runs Ray straight through the crowd.

Rob Van Dam says he will overcome every obstacle that Eric bischoff puts in front of him, and that he wants Jeff Hardys ass.
Rob Van Dam vs. Rob Terry
RVD and Terry tie up and RVD goes flying into the turnbuckle. RVD and Terry stall a little before RVD starts whaling on Terry with right hands and a kick. Terry gets angry and goozles RVD, but gets his leg tripped out from under him. RVD gets several kicks before Terry catches him off the ropes and slams him to the ground. RVD gets thrown to the turnbuckle and gets Terrys shoulder rammed into his back. Terry covers him and only gets two. Terry goes for the shoulderbuster, but on the second attempt he gets caught and gets hit by RVDs flying thrust kick. Terry recovers quickly and gets speared as we go to commercial.
-Commercial Break-
Rob Terry sends RVD straight into the guardrail as soon as we get back from commercial. Terry goes to the outside and sends him, back first, into the ring apron. RVD gets rolled in the ring and kicks out of a pin attempt at two. Terry gives him a backbreaker and a front slam but only gets two. Terry gets RVD in a bearhug. RVD slides his way out of it, but gets caught again. RVD kicks Terry in the head to break out of it and again to get him to the mat. RVD goes up top to hit another single-leg thrust kick and rolling thunder. RVD goes back up top for a five-star and covers for a three count.

Backstage, Pope pulled up in front of a building and had his car valet parked. He walked into the build which had a sign that said Rachaels Adult Entertainment.
The Double-J Double-M A Challenge
Jeff Jarrett uses Kurt Angles entrance lift and his entorage follow Jarrett to the ring. They got Jarrett all lubed up as a fan cussed at him. Borash announced the challenge. He asked if there was anyone who wanted to take the challenge. JB picked a guy in a green hat and a TNA shirt and Jarrett approves. He climbed in the ring and said his name was Jose and said he was from Puerto Rico. Jarrett asked him his favorite wrestler and the guy said Mickie James. Jarrett slapped him and called for the bell. The guy threw his hat at Jarrett and grabbed him, but it had no effect. Jarrett brutalized him with knees to the head and applied the rear naked choke until Jose tapped out.

Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson start it off. Hardy flips Anderson off and tags in Kazarian. Kazarian makes fun of Anderson and pays for it with multiple right hands and a running back elbow. Kaz reverses a suplex into a insaguri. Kaz right hands Anderson but gets tossed like a rag doll. Kaz and Anderson butt heads by accident as Kaz falls down. Anderson tags in Morgan and he cleans house of Kazarian with several clotheslines and snake eyes. Morgan tosses Kaz into the courner and hits her with the rapid fire elbows. Morgan went after Jeff and Jeff pulled the rope down, knocking Morgan to the floor. Anderson distracts the ref as Jeff worked Morgan on the floor. He rolled Morgan back in the ring and chokes Morgan while Kaz gives him some right hands. Kazarian hit Anderson in the head again. Hardy and Kaz goes for a double suplex on Morgan, but Anderson runs in and clears house. Kazarian shoved Anderson into the ref before Morgan attacked him. Morgan worked Kazarian in the corner as Anderson went to the top. Rob Terry ran out and pushed Anderson off the top. Morgan ran over and Terry hit a hangman on the top rope. Jeff Hardy hit the Twist of Fate and the ref recovered for the win. Post-match, Hardy and Kazarian left the ring as Anderson and Morgan looked at each other. Morgan left the ring to end the show.
- It was mentioned on last night's iMPACT by the returning Magnus that Knockout Chelsea was "done." No word yet if she returns with Desmond Wolfe when he comes back in the next few weeks. Current plans call for Wolfe to team up with Magnus and Douglas Williams.

Firefighters and arson investigators were on the scene today of a business fire of TNA Wrestling performer Lisa Marie Varon's (Tara) custom car shop in Louisville, Kentucky, according to ABC's Louisville affiliate WHAS11. Black Widow Customs was the subject of a Consumer Watch investigation on WHAS11 yesterday.
The fire was put out but firefighters say it is suspicious.
An employee claims when he arrived to the shop this morning, it had been broken into and vandalized and that there were several small fires on the ground near a car inside. The entire inside of the store was destroyed, according to the employee.
Investigators say they are looking into the fact that Black Widow Customs was featured in a WHAS11 Consumer Watch.
There were no injuries in the fire, although several neighboring businesses suffered smoke damage.
- Rhino and TNA couldn't agree to terms on a new deal so he has not re-signed. Rhino was wanting guaranteed money from TNA. His status with the company is still open in the sense that if they agree to terms, he can still be brought back.
- Regarding Hamada's recent departure from TNA Wrestling, she was not fired as it was her decision to part ways with the organization. She headed back to Japan in October and wasn't interested in returning.
- As reported earlier, Tara suffered a torn ligament in her elbow when she took a bad landing on her arm during her Steel Cage Match with Mickie James last week on iMPACT. She will continue appearing on television while she heals as she will be using her cast as a foreign object.
Four TNA stars were announced today for New Japan Pro Wrestling's annual January 4 Tokyo Dome Show.
Matches involving TNA performers are Jeff Hardy defending the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Tetsuya Naito of No Limit; Rob Van Dam vs. Toru Yano; and Robert Roode and James Storm will be in a three-way match for the IWGP Tag Team Championship against champions Giant Bernard and Karl Anderson (c), and Manabu Nakanishi and Strongman Jon Anderson.
