As a result, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long changed the main event into an impromptu Handicap Match.
While the match was in progress, Kane charged to the ring and attacked The Ultimate Opportunist. Edge quickly gained the advantage and took off, with The Devils Favorite Demon hot on his heels. Mysterio and Del Rio battled on. In the end, The Ultimate Underdog reigned supreme over Del Rio with an explosive 619-splash combination. What will happen when the bitter adversaries meet in a Chairs Match at WWE TLC in nine days? (Match preview)
When Kane caught up with The Rated-R Superstar, he was standing near what appeared to be Paul Bearer, sitting at the top of two ladders, very close to the edge of a high overhang. Dismissing it as another one of his maniacal No. 1 contenders tricks, The Big Red Monster proceeded to push the ladders over the railing, sending the wheelchair and its occupant to the concrete floor below. Only then did the horrific Superstar realize that it had been the real Father of Destruction. (WATCH)

Chris Masters def. Dashing Cody Rhodes in a Masterlock Challenge (WATCH | PHOTOS) Though Cody Rhodes agreed to take the Masterlock Challenge, he delayed it from beginning several times in order to try and make his surroundings more dashing wiping down the seat, applying hand sanitizer and even offering Chris Masters a nail file. When Masters slapped the handsome Superstar in the face, Rhodes completely lost his composure. As Rhodes turned to a mirror to make sure his face was still perfect, The Masterpiece used the distraction to lock in his favorite maneuver and win the challenge.
Kofi Kingston def. Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS) In an intense Intercontinental Championship Match, Kofi Kingston looked as if he might reclaim the title with the help of Trouble in Paradise. However, as he went for the cover, Jack Swagger came from nowhere to pull the high-flying No. 1 contender out of the ring. Cinching in his dreaded ankle lock for the second time of the night, Swagger gave Kofi a win by disqualification, but prevented him from capturing the title.
Hornswoggle def. The Soaring Eagle (WATCH | PHOTOS) With the beautiful Rosa Mendes in his corner, Hornswoggle took on The Soaring Eagle. Using an array of hilarious tricks, Swoggle picked up a victory over his feathered foe with the Tadpole Splash.
Jack Swagger def. Kaval (WATCH | PHOTOS) One week ago, Jack Swagger lost an Intercontinental Championship No. 1 Contenders Match to Kofi Kingston. This time, despite Kavals incredible efforts to battle back from a leg injury, a focused All-American American used The World Warriors damaged appendage to defeat him with the ankle lock.
Following the match, Swagger informed the WWE Universe that he was protesting the Intercontinental Championship Match between Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston and that any attempt to have such a match without him was unacceptable.
World Heavyweight Champion Kane begged Edge to give Paul Bearer back (WATCH | PHOTOS) Weeks after Edge abducted Paul Bearer, The Devils Favorite Demon pleaded that The Master Manipulator return his father. When Edge appeared, wielding a chair, he ignited another insane pursuit in which the nine-time World Champion destroyed more fake Paul Bearers.

- Dolph Ziggler returned to action this past week after being kept out since the Survivor Series pay-per-view, due to a concussion from a stiff Kaval kick in their Intercontinental Title match. Ziggler said on Twitter that he wasn't injured but sources say otherwise.
- Rey Mysterio has recovered from his recent ear infection but has been having shoulder problems this past week. Rey visited Dr. James Andrews who diagnosed the injury as a tear, but didn't feel like Rey needed surgery.
Rey was told he needed rehab on the shoulder and that he needed to take a few weeks off. Rey still worked this past weekend and the SmackDown tapings. Rey's match with Alberto Del Rio at TLC was originally planned to be a Ladder Match but that was changed due to the injury.
- Several other WWE stars are currently working banged up. One wrestler notes that a lot of the talents need time off and this year they don't have the usual Christmas break that they've had in the past.

Bischoff says that things are all about fair play right now due to the legal troubles. "Easy E" says that Morgan could have actually won the match but he had a bad referee in Mr. Anderson. Bischoff spoke it over with Ric Flair and someone who will remain nameless and decided that Morgan and Anderson will fight to see who faces Hardy. Morgan informs Bischoff that Anderson isn't medically cleared yet. Bischoff doesn't care. If Anderson doesn't fight then he's done.

Mickie tries to hit her head scissor from the corner but Tara has it scouted. Mickie is attempting to climb the cage but Tara is there with her. It looks like Mickie attempts the head scissor from halfway up the cage but it ends up being a bad fall for both ladies.
Tara is up first and Tara is able to toss Mickie into the side of the cage twice. Eve def. Alicia Fox (WATCH | PHOTOS) All of the Divas on the WWE roster are competitive, but few are as vicious as Alicia Fox. Athletic and tough with a mean streak a mile long, the Florida native has the ability and the will to tear her opponents apart and the gorgeous Eve was fully aware of this going into tonights bout. In fact, Eve had experienced this brutality before when Alicia won her Divas Championship in a Fatal 4-Way Match in June. But instead of being intimidated by The Foxy Floridian, Eve came prepared. After fighting through all of Alicias devastating strikes, the Brazilian jiu-jitsu expert found the opportunity to go for a huge moonsault and nailed the high-risk maneuver for the win.
Ezekiel Jackson def. Zack Ryder (WATCH | PHOTOS) On the Nov. 1 edition of Raw from New Yorks Nassau Coliseum, Zack Ryder received a terrible homecoming when he was brutalized by Ezekiel Jackson. The Long Island Loudmouth clearly had that beating in mind when he stepped into the ring with Big Zeke tonight. Displaying a mean streak not often seen, the arrogant Ryder attacked his oversized opponent with a primal rage, but the Raw Superstars assault simply wasnt enough. The Guyanese Goliath simply weathered the offense storm before driving Ryder into the mat to claim another victim.
Trent Barreta def. Curt Hawkins (WATCH | PHOTOS) In the past few weeks on WWE Superstars, Curt Hawkins and Trent Barreta have traded victories in a pair of heated contests. But the animosity between these rivals extends far beyond the squared circle. Former friends and training partners, the SmackDown Superstars built up a hostility toward each other that fully showed itself in tonights brutal match. Hungry for victory, Hawkins hit Barreta with everything he had, but his talented opponent would not be denied. After scoring with a breathtaking moonsault on the outside of the ring, Barreta nailed a wild tornado DDT to win tonights battle and the war.
Tyler Reks def. JTG (WATCH | PHOTOS) When it comes to swagger, few Superstars in the SmackDown locker-room can compare to JTG. But it takes more than style and flash to beat a monster as menacing as Tyler Reks. Still, the Brooklyn native refused to let Reks growing infamy intimidate him and took a fun-loving approach to the contest. JTG was so lighthearted, he even took the time to throw a pair of dice into the WWE Universe during the match. This confidence ultimately led to JTGs downfall, however, as Reks hit the destructive Burning Hammer for the victory.
Christopher Daniels vs. Homicide has been added to ROH Final Battle 2010 on December 18th, 2010 from the Manhattan Center/Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
Beginning this week on iMPACT!, a tournament is being held for the vacated belts. The first match will feature Sarita and Daffney vs. Angelina Love and Velvet Sky.
