NORFOLK, Va. As WWE geared up for the unpredictable brutality of WWE: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, Edge continued to use Paul Bearer to make World Heavyweight Champion Kanes life a living hell.
Edge def. World Heavyweight Champion Kane in a Non-Title Match (WATCH | PHOTOS) With the abducted Paul Bearer still missing, World Heavyweight Champion Kane battled The Rated-R Superstar to determine who would pick the stipulation in their World Title Match at WWE TLC.
When a screaming Paul Bearer appeared on the TitanTron, Kane had to choose whether to seek out his father and potentially lose by count-out, or return to the ring and try to finish off his war-torn No. 1 contender. Making the decision to finish the match, he soon found himself summarily Speared by The Ultimate Opportunist for the loss.
Proclaiming that their match at WWE TLC will be Tables, Ladders & Chairs (Match preview), Edge informed Kane that he would give him back his father. However, when The Big Red Monster tried to recover Paul Bearer at the top of the ramp, he instead discovered an unknown man dressed like his father. As he attacked the imposter, the real Paul Bearer again appeared on the TitanTron. Kane ran to look for him, just in time to witness Edge driving away on a flatbed truck, with a hysterical Paul Bearer secured to the back in a wheelchair.
Layla def. Rosa Mendes (WATCH | PHOTOS) Following her win over Rosa Mendes with the Lay-Out neckbreaker, Layla and her Team Lay-Cool cohort, Michelle McCool, continued their aggression on the defeated Diva. When Hornswoggle emerged to lend Rosa a hand, Team Lay-Cool ridiculed him. Beth Phoenix soon put an end to the laughter, storming to the ring to take down both Michelle and Layla. When the Swagger Soaring Eagle opted to join the turmoil assaulting Hornswoggle The Glamazon blasted the boisterous bird of prey with the Glam Slam. Hornswoggle then finished things off with the Tadpole Splash.
Dashing Cody Rhodes def Chris Masters (WATCH | PHOTOS) Cody Rhodes picked up an impressive win over The Masterpiece, taking down the powerful Chris Masters with the Cross Rhodes.
Kofi Kingston def. Jack Swagger (WATCH | PHOTOS) Kofi Kingston defeated Jack Swagger in a hard-fought match to become the No.1 contender to the Intercontinental Championship by executing an incredible Trouble in Paradise from outside the ring.
Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre def. MVP & Kaval (WATCH | PHOTOS) Thanks to a distraction by Dolph Zigglers girlfriend SmackDown Official Consultant Vickie Guerrero Drew McIntyre set up the bleach-blond champion to hit the Zig Zag on Kaval for the victory.
After the match, an irate Kane emerged, executing a brutal chokeslam on MVP and a tombstone on the World Warrior. He then demanded that Edge return the abducted Paul Bearer to him.
The actions of The Devils Favorite Demon ignited another torturous night of torrent, courtesy of The Master Manipulator. Once again, Edge forced Kane to chase him throughout the arena, as he crushed one fake Paul Bearer with huge storage boxes and pushed a second fake Paul Bearer down a flight on stairs. Kane wasnt the only surprise surrounding the intense tag team match. Moments before it began, Kaitlyn the beautiful winner of WWE NXT season 3 informed his former WWE Pro Vickie Guerrero that she is now SmackDowns newest Diva. (Watch).
Rey Mysterio informed Alberto Del Rio that they will battle at WWE TLC (WATCH | PHOTOS) After costing Alberto Del Rio a win in the 2011 King of the Ring Tournament on Monday Night Raw, Rey Mysterio returned to SmackDown surrounded by tables, ladders and chairs. When his aristocratic adversary emerged, The Ultimate Underdog informed him that they will face each other at WWE TLC (Match preview). The brawl that soon ensued between them came to a crushing halt when Mysterio leaped off the apron onto Del Rio as he lay on a table outside the ring.
- Last night on Twitter, Jillian Hall revealed that she asked to be released from World Wrestling Entertainment a few times before it ultimately occurred.
"Many don't know the truth about my release, but the truth is I asked for my release a couple times before I actually was officially released," she wrote. "No hard feelings towards WWE. This is just where I am in my life right now."

- Recently Tara of TNA Wrestling spoke to Fanhouse.com about leaving WWE for TNA Wrestling and predicts that many others will follow her path.
"You'll be seeing some names coming over here," she said. "It's a much more at ease crew at TNA. I'm so much happier here. We get to showcase what we were prevented up north."
The multi-time champion also feels that women wrestlers should stick together.
"There are very few women in this industry and I think we should all be supportive, regardless of what company we're in," she noted. "I think Mickie James and I never got to finish a feud we had in the past with the other company. Now it's time to finish it and prove a point here."
On the same night that LeBron James returns to Cleveland, TNA provides its viewers with the go-home show to Final Resolution.
We get a match to kick things off.
Beer Money vs. Ink Inc. vs. Generation Me vs. Motor City Machine Guns
It's a non-title match and Ric Flair is on commentary. Fast-paced action with men battling in and out of the ring. Men are flying in and out of the ring, pure bedlam. The Guns are hitting GenMe with quick forearms on the outside. Alex Shelley gets a chair thrown on his head from Max Buck. Chris Sabin hits a crossbody from the top of the ladder and takes out the Bucks.
Beer Money and Ink Inc. are actually wrestling in the ring. What a concept, huh? Shannon Moore is able to stop the beating he's been taking to hit a crossbody on Robert Roode but James Storm quickly allows Beer Money to regain control. Moore rolls up Roode for the pin after Roode was busy arguing with the referee Jackson James.
Winner: Ink Inc.
AJ Styles and Kazarian rush to the ring to hold on to Jackson while Roode gets on the mic to chastise him. Jackson had his three strikes and he's out, according to Roode. The four men begin to beat up the ref before Matt Morgan comes out and grabs hold of Flair by the neck. Morgan orders the release of Jackson and promises that Fortune will pay if they continue to mess with the referee.
Backstage Segment
Mickie James is talking to the camera about performing "Hardcore Country" tonight on iMPACT! before Eric Young and Orlando Jordan interrupt. Young is interested in being apart of the performance.
Musical Performance
During the middle of James' performance, EY is out with chaps and the cowbell. James is embarrassed but keeps on performing. Tara attacks Mickie from behind and the ladies begin to brawl before officials break them up.
Backstage Segment
Jackson catches up with Morgan and asks to be the referee on Sunday. Morgan says he'll take it into consideration but he doesn't want to see Jackson get any further abuse from Fortune.
Flair is hoping that Morgan chooses Jackson as the ref but if Morgan doesn't name a referee by the end of the night then Flair will revoke Morgan's right to choose.
Video package of the issues Fortune has had with Douglas Williams. Williams will face Kazarian tonight and Williams reminds Kazarian that every time they fight, Kazarian loses.
Match #2: Douglas Williams vs. Kazarian
Williams wastes no time to get on the offensive. Spinning forearm shot takes Kaz down. Running knee to the chest of Kazarian in the corner. Williams goes for the Rolling Chaos Theory but Kazarian stops it and is able to slingshot Williams and take the advantage. Neckbreaker by Kazarian. Kazarian uses a heel kick to drop Williams and proceeds to trash talk the fallen Williams. Dropkick from Kazarian and more trash talking. Kazarian tries to springboard into a DDT but Williams catches him and attempts the Chaos Theory again, however Kaz stops it but Williams rolls him up. Kaz kicks out and levels Williams. Kazarian goes for the inverted piledriver but Williams rolls out and connects with the Chaos Theory.
Winner: Douglas Williams
Backstage Segment
Morgan is with Williams and it seems like Morgan was about to ask Williams about being the referee on Sunday but before he could finish, Fortune rushes in and attacks both men.
In-Ring Segment
D-Von is irate and wants to talk so he's calling out Brother Ray. Eventually Ray comes out but stops halfway down the ramp. D-Von calls Ray a bully. Taz's name gets brought into things as D-Von says it was thanks to Taz that the two of them got their shot in ECW. Ray calls Taz washed up, just like D-Von. Taz interrupts and tells Ray that he might be washed up but D-Von isn't and Ray needs to get himself in the ring. Ray refuses to go and actually scampers away when it appeared that D-Von was about to leave the ring. Fans chant "He's a chicken." D-Von exits the ring and Ray tosses So Cal Val into D-Von before running to the back.
Backstage Segment
D'Angelo Dinero and Samoa Joe are discussing their upcoming match tonight. Pope calls Joe the stupidest Samoan he has ever met. Joe doesn't want to be Pope's partner and doesn't like anything about Pope. Dinero tells Joe that they'll do it Joe's way and will see each other in the ring.
Match #3: Sarita vs. Angelina Love vs. Madison Rayne
Mickie James and Tara start to fight before the bell starts. Rayne uses the belt to hit Sarita. Bell sounds and Love attacks Rayne. Love gets pulled down by Rayne with some use of the hair. Rayne tries to do her trademark move where she has her opponent's head between her legs and drives the opponent's head into the mat. Love blocks things however. Flying clothesline from Love. Love slams Rayne to the mat. Rayne is sent to the outside. Love goes after her but Rayne hits her with the belt. Sarita slides in the ring and pins Love before Rayne could get back in.
Winner: Sarita
Backstage Segment
Flair is talking to someone behind a door about their contract. Flair says that right now Hogan and Bischoff are tied up with the injunction.
Love is questioning what is wrong with her since she's lost two matches in a row. Winter comes up and says that there is nothing wrong with her. Now that the two of them are together, Love will never lose again. Love questions what Winter means by "we" and Winter tells her that they need to talk.
Match #4: Matt Morgan vs. Rhino
During the match we learn that AJ Styles will take on Douglas Williams at Final Resolution. Battle goes to the outside. Rhino runs Morgan's head into the ringpost and rolls him into the ring. Rhino focuses on the cut that opened up on Morgan's head. The crowd wills Morgan back up and he is furious. He slams Rhino after a few punches to Rhino. Discus clothesline gets Morgan a near fall. Morgan starts to hit his rapid fire elbows before Rhino is able to knock him down. Rhino goes for the Gore but Morgan moves out of the way. Carbon Footprint connects. Morgan pins Rhino but Fortune attacks Morgan and the bell sounds. RVD runs out and beats back Rhino to the back. Jeff Hardy enters with a chair and wants to hit Morgan in the back of the head with the weapon. Mr. Anderson's music sounds and he rushes out with a metal pipe to chase off Fortune and Hardy.
Winner: Matt Morgan
In-Ring Segment
Mr. Anderson wants to do something that he's done only about a handful of times: he thanks Morgan. Anderson warns Hardy about what's coming to him. Anderson brings up Morgan's need for a referee on Sunday. The two men agree to that and Anderson tells Hardy that at the PPV "the bigger man will win."
Camera goes to Tara and James still fighting somewhere outside.
Fist Pump Challenge
Robbie E. and Jay Lethal are about to take part in what has to be one of the stupidest challenges I think I've ever seen. Robbie E. says that Lethal has never been in a club and surely doesn't know how to fist pump. Cookie shrieks about not wanting to go in the cage. Robbie fist pumps.
Lethal tells Robbie that he makes Jay ashamed to be from Jersey. He also says that Cookie's parents kept her in something similar to the cage. Lethal is preparing to fist pump but he clocks Robbie in the face and fights him to the back. Robbie tries to hang on to So Cal Val and Cookie takes exception. Robbie is able to turn the table and slam Lethal with a chain-link door. He and Cookie stand over Lethal and trash talk before leaving.
Main Event: Abyss and Jeff Jarrett vs. Samoa Joe and D'Angelo Dinero
Jarrett and Dinero exchange punches in the corner. Joe wants a tag and Dinero does tag him but does it by slapping Joe on the shoulder. Abyss gets a splash and kick combination from Joe in the corner. Joe bounds off the ropes to kick Abyss in the face but Dinero tags Joe in the process. The two partners argue and allows Abyss to clothesline them both. Jarrett comes in and locks Dinero in an armbreaker. We end iMPACT! as Dinero is able to slam Jarrett to the mat. Joe tags himself in and starts pelting Abyss with punches. Joe actually powerslams Abyss to the mat but Abyss is able to come back with the chokeslam. Dinero sends Abyss over the top rope with a clothesline after an uppercut. Jarrett locks Dinero into the ankle lock but Dinero is able to swing Jarrett into the ref and the ref is sent flying to the outside. Dinero leaps over the top rope and takes out Abyss. Jarrett goes for the guitar but when he swings it at Joe, Joe kicks it and the guitar shatters.
The ref calls for the bell as he thinks that Joe used the guitar. Joe goes for a Muscle Buster on the ref but Jarrett low blows him.
Winner: Abyss and Jeff Jarrett via DQ
Jarrett puts Joe in the Coquina Clutch while Dinero and Abyss fight outside. Jarrett calls Abyss in the ring so they can put Joe in the casket. The casket opens and Kurt Angle appears. He steps in the ring and Angle Slams Abyss. Jarrett hops the guardrail to escape Angle.
- Many within WWE aren't surprised to see MVP released as he has talked about leaving the company for some time now. The former SmackDown star is currently restricted by a 90 day non-compete clause with WWE, but seemingly wants to head to Japan after this expires. (Credit - F4WOnline.com)

Matt Hardy is on this week's episode of Tha O Show (www.thaOshow.com), hosted by Big Daddy Donnie & Dan-e-o and this week's in studio guest - indy worker, Jewells Malone. This is only the second interview Matt Hardy has done since leaving WWE (the first being Highway 2 Helms, hosted by his best friend Gregory Helms).
Marty Garner AKA Cham Pain is the co-host of Highway 2 Helms and has been a regular contributor to Tha O Show for years. Garner was on the line with Matt Hardy for almost an hour talking about everything under the sun.
"They're [WWE] into this youth movement thing, and it's not a youth movement they need it's a talent movement".
Matt specifically mentioned people like Gail Kim being misused and Christian. He said that Vince McMahon may still be holding a grudge against Christian for his TNA run, but the fact that he hasn't been crowned World Champion is an injustice. Matt referred to Christian as the best worker he'd ever been in the ring with.
"The John Cena thing really bothers me. You lose this match and you have to join Nexus. He did that and within 6 or 7 weeks he had an opportunity to get out. So then people were like oh man he`s fired. I actually liked the first three quarters of his promo until he started talking about Wade Barrett - the first three quarters were very real, very sincere. Then he shows up in the crowd [this past week on Raw] he was wearing knee pads! Then he jumped the rail and he time to take his top off, go to announcer's table and take the monitors out, and there was no security .... i mean ... c'mon."
Matt went on to say that Cena being on Raw this week was likely a sign from management that they didn't believe in Miz to carry the ratings - especially with Orton off the show.
- As noted before, AAA star Zorro is expected to sign a two-year deal with TNA and begin working soon. It's expected that he will debut in TNA under a new name. AAA and TNA have been working for months on talent exchanges.

David Hart Smith def. Tyson Kidd (WATCH | PHOTOS) For the first time ever, former WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith squared off in what everyone in the WWE Universe knew would be a heated battle. Since violently parting ways three weeks ago on Raw, the ex-members of The Hart Dynasty have been burning to lock up and the first showdown between these two young talents was nothing short of a war. Called the best pound for pound competitor on the WWE roster by CM Punk, the spiteful Kidd knew hed have to utilize every hold he learned in the fabled Hart Dungeon to bring down his powerful opponent. But the grappler was shocked when Smith won the match not with his strength, but with an unexpected pinning counter. Feeling that theyd settled their differences, David Hart Smith offered his hand to Tyson Kidd, but only received a slap in the face in return. Clearly, this conflict is far from over.
William Regal def. Darren Young (WATCH | PHOTOS) In October, Darren Young lost to the belligerent William Regal on two separate editions of WWE Superstars. Learning from those losses, Young came at The British Brawler with a more focused plan of attack tonight, but still couldnt outwrestle the snide veteran. Using all the brutal maneuvers hes mastered in his 20 plus years in the ring, the former Intercontinental Champion pounded Young to the mat before putting him away with an excruciating Regal Stretch.
Tyler Reks def. Trent Barreta (WATCH | PHOTOS) Fun loving and talented, Trent Barreta has been making some waves on WWE Superstars in recent weeks, but the young SmackDown competitor knew he would have his work cut out for him with the menacing Tyler Reks tonight. But to make things worse, Barretas rival and former childhood friend, Curt Hawkins, made a surprise appearance at ringside where he sat in on commentary. Distracted by his aggressive adversary, Barreta had trouble sticking to his game plan against the massive Reks. Despite a spirited effort, the high-flying Superstar fell victim to the big mans devastating burning hammer and lost the bout.
TNA Wrestling officials recently asked three-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion Diamond Dallas Page, 54, if he would consider returning to the organizationhe had a brief run in 2005. He declined the company's offer as he is not interested in returning to the wrestling industry at this time. He is now an actor, fitness guru and motivational speaker.

Randy Orton's injury suffered on last week's RAW at the hands of Nexus is reportedly legit. Orton apparently displaced his kneecap after Husky Harris kicked him. Orton's knee has been swollen and he's been in some pain. Besides last night's RAW and Sunday's live event in Maryland, he isn't expected to miss much time.
