Praise & aanbidding Het Oslo Gospel Choir; dit Noorse koor onder leiding van de componist en dirigent Tore (spreek uit: Toere) W. Aas heeft door de jaren heen het podium gedeeld met grote artiesten als Andrae Crouch, Songfestival-winnares Carola en zelfs koninklijke familieleden. Het koor heeft inmiddels miljoenen CD’s verkocht en behoort tot de meest succesvolle ensembles die Europa rijk is.
Dat deze muziek miljoenen inspireert, blijkt wel uit de opvallende plaatsen waar het koor uitgenodigd wordt. Of het nu de prestigieuze Stravinsky Concert Hall in het Zwitserse Montreux is, de Olympische Winterspelen of een met historie vervulde kerk in Gouda: het Oslo Gospel Choir brengt haar gospelsongs met een aanstekelijke bevlogenheid en oprechtheid; de ene keer energiek, dan weer intiem.
