STEVE CARELL MET BEVER ALS HANDPOP?

Steve Carell met bever als handpop?

Volgens The Hollywood Reporter heeft het productiehuis Anonymous Content (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Babel) de rechten verworven op The Beaver, een script van debuterend scenarist Kyle Killen over een man die rondloopt met een bever als handpop. Volgens het persbericht zou de Amerikaanse acteur Steve Carell (The 40 Year Old Virgin, Amerikaanse serie "The Office") in onderhandelingen zijn om de hoofdrol te spelen.

Het script is momenteel ongelofelijk 'hot' in Hollywood. Verschillende grote filmstudio's zouden geïnteresseerd zijn om de productie te voeren. Anonymous Content gaat nu op zoek naar een regisseur.

Carell heeft in elk geval de tijd om zich voor verschillende projecten te engageren. Tijdens de lente-stop van NBC's "The Office" overweegt hij deel te nemen aan de opnames van Get Smart 2 en de napoleontische komedie Brigadier Gerard. Mogelijks komt daar nu dus ook The Beaver bij.
