Kick-Ass ster Aaron Johnson in X-Men: First Class?

Er bestaat een kans dat Kick-Ass ster Aaron Johnson zijn opwachting zal gaan maken in Matthew Vaughns X-Men: First Class als een jonge Scott Summers (aka Cyclops) of een jonge Magneto. Vorige week is Johnson gesignaleerd tijdens een ontmoeting in Engeland met Vaughn (zijn Kick-Ass regisseur) en James McAvoy. Laatstgenoemde zette onlangs zijn handtekening om een jonge Charles Xavier (aka Professor X) te gaan spelen in First Class. Hieronder een foto van deze ontmoeting (waar de paparazzi toch niet goed voor is):
Eerder deze maand berichtte HeatVision dat producer Bryan Singer tijdens het casting proces van zijn nieuwe film Jack the Giant Killer ook op zou letten voor eventuele X-Mannen. Singer zou in de gaten houden of er toevallig acteurs of actrices langskwamen, die geschikt zouden zijn voor de rol van Cyclops jr. en Jean Grey jr.
Gisteren werd bericht dat Singer een ontmoeting had met Johnson en Andrew Garfield over de hoofdrol van Jack the Giant Killer. Het zou goed kunnen dat Singer in Johnson een potentiële X-man ziet. Dat zou de ontmoeting op de foto bovenaan verklaren (let op: dit is allemaal speculatie).
De officiële synopsis van First Class:
X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, following the classic Marvel mythology, charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga. Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magnetos Brotherhood and Professor Xs X-Men.
De film gaat deze zomer in productie en staat gepland voor 3 juni 2011.
