8.03.1971 - I KNOW THAT JESUS WILL BE THERE - MEMPHIS
8.03.1971. Jerry was in his period of religious songs and the put out the gospel LP "IN LOVING MEMORIES", which contained the song : I KNOW JESUS WILL BE THERE. This song was written by all time friend and his road manager at that time : Cecil Harrelson.
This live version of the song is done, probably, in Memphis, Saint Jude's Hospital. The youtube video mentions simply : played in Church 1970. Who knows ?
Musicians : Jerry Lee lewis : piano + vocal, Kenny Lovelace : fiddle, Morris Tarrant : drums, Bill Strom : organ, Buck Hutcheson : guitar.
Jerry says a few words about the song before starting to play. His voice is very similar to the voice of Elvis Presley with the same Memphis dialect sounds in it.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

14 MAY 1972 - BRUSSELS - LIVE AUDIO ONLY - HONEY HUSH
1972 . BRUSSELS VORST NATIONAAL. THIS WAS THE VERY FIRST TIME I SAW A LIVE PERFORMANCE BY JERRY LEE LEWIS.
I HAD A FEW RECORDS OF HIM WITH MOST COUNTRY TUNES, NOT MUCH ROCK'N ROLL. MY WIFE GRETA AND ME SAW HIM IN BRUSSELS GIVING A ROCK 'N ROLL SHOW LIKE WE NEVER HAD SEEN BEFORE. THE AUDIANCE (5000) WENT TOTALLY CRAZY AND NOT ONLY THE GIRLS AND WOMEN WERE SCREAMING, BUT THE MEN LOST THEIR HEAD AND WENT TOTALLY CRAZY. THIS I HAD NEVER SEEN AND HEARTH BEFORE IN MY WHOLE LIFE.HE WAS WEARING A BEARD THAT PERIOD BECAUSE HE HAD TO APPEAR IN A BROADWAY SHOW "CATCH MY SOUL".
FROM THEN ON I BECAME A COMPLETE 100 % JERRY LEE LEWIS FAN.

Here you see Jerry giving a short interview at the airport at the start of his European appearance in London and taking place in a limousine accompanied by motorcycles to drive him to his hotel or, maybe, the show.
He looks good and healthy but reserved and a bit shy to tell something wrong. He states that he always did country and that the flip side sides of his great hits were all country.
25.11.1977 - WHOLE LOTTA SHAKING WITH BETTE MIDDLER
25.11.1977. Whole lotta shaking going, duet with Bette (The rose) Middler.
Jerry was a guest on The Rolling Stone Special, broadcasted on 25.11.1977 but, probably, taped earlier in october 1977.
The channel was HBO TV.
The band behind Jerry Lee and Bette is seemingly a Studio- or a theatre band with a conductor shaking a stick and even trumpets in it . I don't even recognize Kenny Lovelace, I don't think he is playing with the band.
Musicians : Jerry Lee Lewis : piano +vocals, Bette Middler : vocal-duet, backing : studio band.
