Harmonisierung der Schäferhundezucht? - Worldwide
Harmonization of German Shepherd Breeding?
Zuchtrichter
fordern 5 Sterne-Behandlung
Zuchtrichter profitieren davon. Sie beschweren sich alsdann wie folgt und
hoffen auf Reaktionen:
First letter:
Dear Jan,
On the 5th of January, the German
Shepherd Club of India has arranged a seminar for about 50 to 100 persons.
However my objective is that if only the members of the Club which are about 50
are to be educated then what about the other approximate 3.000 other breeders?
What happens to the existent stock nearly all proceed out of hip dysplastic
imports? Was the SV in deep slumber while it's members exported trash to 3rd
world countries?
The time limit is 7 months in which all
breeders and enthusiasts are to be educated. Now in India the Club has followed
a biased policy of only providing membership to those in favor of the committee
members, therefore the members act like elitists and the rest of the
breeders/enthusiasts are treated like trash. The SV is fully in knowledge of
this fact but has done precious little in the past 25 years.
I was informed by acquaintances, that
the SV charges 300 per 50 members and requires a 5 star ambience to every
seminar they organize.
How can the above arrangement be
provided every time a speaker is imported from the SV, an ordinary Indian earns
about 100 to 300 per month! With the cost of implementing the formalizing
the breed the cost increases exponentially per puppy by about 50, which
includes all the necessary health checks. This eradicates the small enthusiast
entirely.
Therefore my question to Herr Messler is:
is the SV a group of elitists who are restricted to the rich and powerful or
does it even cater to the poor?
The SV needs to answer these questions
before it even embarks upon its quest. A dog belonging to a humble shepherd has
been turned to a multi-million-dollar-business.
I attach the circular of the GSD club
for your reference.

Second letter:
Dear Jan,
In September 2016, the WUSV unfurled it's initiative
in the General meeting, to harmonize the breeding of German Shepherds
worldwide. This exercise entails all the necessary constituents like DNA
analysis, HD/ED testing, DM and Hemophilia testing and IPO. Herr Lothar Quoll
is visiting India together with Helmut König - to inform the enthusiasts
about the above changes and regulations, and will conduct a meeting on the 5th
of January 2018.
I am therefore informed that the SV charges a fee of
300 per 50 members. Implementing these initiatives will increase the burden on
the novice breeder phenomenally as the Indian Rupee is valued at about 80:1 Euro.
Is this a futile exercise as the SV demands that this
particular meet on 5th January be placed in a 5-star environment
with only a few attendees per table, the breed warden will answer only a few
questions from the gathered members?! This meeting should not proceed beyond
four hours, etc., etc.
Implementation of the design of Harmonization will
begin from July 2018, how will the entire group of breeders which exceeds
beyond 3.000 in number, be informed about the new regulations and breeding
procedures in the absence of a mechanism as the German Shepherd Club in India
has remained a dominion or fiefdom of only a few with the bulk of small
breeders given a Pariah/Untouchable treatment over the years?
My only question to Herr Heinrich Messer
is, can your elitist agenda, propagating the ideals of your program to the
members of the WUSV:
1. A charade to
extract money to supplement the falling revenues of the SV in recent years?
2. Why does the
SV Breed Warden require 5 star treatment to disseminate information designed by
your own Club?
3. How will the
SV inform the humble enthusiast, breeder and those at the grassroot in third
world countries about your new measures?
4. Who will
teach the various constituents of IPO to the immense volume of enthusiasts? Will
the SV delegate trainers to the third world countries?
I remember this very crucial fact, the SV was built by
Max vom Stephanitz along with a lot of many poor shepherds, their ideals are
somehow misplaced in the quest for commercializing a breed which was a Friend,
Help and a Family member.
In diesem
Sinne! Frohe Weihnachten!
fiat! Damit etwas geschieht! Um die Rasse zu retten.
