Have you ever considered a trip to Antwerp? It's a city that's always linked with fashion and design.
Well known for some of her world famous fashion designers such as Dries van Noten, Dirk Bikkembergs
and many more. All through the city you find historical buildings and it's one of europe's biggest ports.

But where to go for a wonderful cocktail after a long, hard day of shopping and indulging history?

Being the second biggest city of Belgium, Antwerp offers you quite a few cocktailbars, some better than others.
My personal favourite is definitely the Sips bar, located in the heart of the fashionable 'Zuid' area.
Service and quality are the keywords of the Sips spirit. All their cocktails as well as mocktails are on the base
of fresh ingredients combined with super premium spirit labels.
Classical cocktails/mocktails or own creations, served with respect for traditions and with attention for the minute detail.

When you take a look at the 'menu' it might take a few minutes for you to decide which cocktail to drink.
So let me offer you a helping hand. Personally I just love the "Lazy Red Cheeks"!
A vodka based cocktail designed by bar owner Manuel Wouters and the original name picked by the
lead singer of the world famous 'Deus' band.
The mix between raspberries, lime juice,Grey Goose Original and a dash of violet syrup makes this cocktail
    refreshing, sweet and easy drinkable.

So in the end, Antwerp design still makes your day! Enjoy and drink responsibly!!

    Lazy Red Cheeks

    5 cl. Grey Goose L'Originale

    4 Raspberries

    2 cl. Crème de Violette

    juice of 1 lime

    1 tea spoon cane sugar

Muddle the raspberries together with the sugar cane in a tumbler. Add the other ingredients and stir with a barspoon
Fill up the glass with crushed ice and finish with a lime decoration on top of the glass.
