Verschillende nationale Olympische comités (o.a.
Dear board of EGSLF,
Please find here following motion ;
After the successful congress to celebrate the 20th anniversary of EGSLF, a recommendation on LGBT issue in sports needs to be considered. A lot of LGBT groups as well as some national Olympic committees are working on LGBT issues concerning sports.
Motion :
- EGLSF should take the lead in a letter of recommendation towards the IOC on LGBT-issues. Together with FGG, GLISA, ILGA Europe, ILGA World a letter should be send to the president Mr. Jacques Rogge of the IOC to considerate LGBT issues in national boards of the Olympic committee.
- EGLSF should invite, amongst above proposal, the Olympic National Committees (e.g. The Netherlands, Norway, Canada, ...) to send a letter to the president of the IOC, Mr. Jacques Rogge, a demand to all IOC members to implement a code of conduct on LGBT issues as recommendation.
Kind regards,
Davy Brocatus
