This morning saw some fog hanging over the fields. The forest was very muddy and I did not feel like riding out in the fields so I decided to stay indoors and ride 45 minutes on the Tacx Satori. My left hip was giving me some worries too. I need to have that looked at in the coming weeks.
The ride went fine and I was able to maintain a good rhythm and pace.

I was home really late this evening because I had a flat tyre with the car and had to wait for VTB-VAB to arrive and temporary fix it.
I settled for half an hour of Tacx Satori which also helped to straighten my head from the exitement. Legs felt fine, speed was high.

A fine day today but daylight was long gone before I got home from work. So I took to the Tacx Satori rollers for a large half hour of cycling, with my head in my Kindle enjoying the delicate stream of blood and gore tickling out of the 'Draculas' novel I'm reading.
    Legs felt fine.

Taking it easy today with only half an hour of Tacx riding. Legs were fine but I did feel a little tired.

It had frozen slightly last night and with temperatures of around 0 degrees C I set out on the Moots Psychlo-X for a mixed ride. Starting out through Meerdael Forest I noticed the trails were wet but not overly so. Through Mollendaal and Bierbeek towards Opvelp where I took a right turn towards Beauvechain. I began to notice there was a stiff breeze blowing from what appeared to be South Westerly directions. Relaxing into a comfortable pace I made my way to L'Ecluse and then with the wind in my back towards Hoksem and Kontich. Here I had to take a double left leaving me to face the wind again, this time from the left front side. Through Neervelp and Bierbeek and into Blanden I completed my ride. Legs felt fine but I had a pain in my upper left hip.

This evening I planned and executed an hours' ride on the Tacx Satori. The legs felt fine and the new book I was reading on the Kindle kept me captivated enough for the hour to fly by.

Went for a ride on the Tacx Satori this evening. Finished reading 'Fear City' and now started with 'Draculas' , an novel putting the fear back into vampyre stories, or so the blurb goes. The fact that F.Paul Wilson collaborated makes me think that it will be a fine read.
The legs went fine and I could maintain a very high rhythm throughout the 40-minutes roller ride.

With temperatures just above freezing and a gray dull atmosphere it looks like the weather is slowly moving towards winter. I decided on a Tacx Satori ride, in the cosy comfort of home and with the ability to listen to Spotify and read another couple of chapters on the Kindle. Legs felt great.

Today I only felt like doing half an hour on the Hilset. Yesterdays' ride has left me more tired than I expected. With the colder temperatures this was tougher than it looked. But todays' 30 minutes went fine. Legs felt better and better as the ride progressed, and the high revs on relatively low resistance worked their wonders.

Just above freezing when I rode out this morning. I took the Psychlo-X because I wanted to do a mixed ride. It was misty when I entered Meerdael Forest and proceeded towards Mollendaal and Bierbeek. Over Opvelp and then towards Beauvechain and Tourinnes. Through Hamme Mille and Nethen and onwards to Sint Joris Weert. Entering the Kouterbos and then back to Vaalbeek and the Meerdael Forest where I did a lap towards the Weertse Dreef. Following the Dreef to the N25 and then along that road back into Blanden.

Had a ride on the Tacx Satori on the Hilset. My legs were a bit sore from the Core Stabilty exercises yesterday but the ride went reasonably well for the rest. The F.Paul Wilson book is really steaming along, with action and suspense and the 50 minutes flew by.

Time for another Tacx Satori workout. I started on the Hilset for 50 minutes of high-rep , low resistance riding and the legs felt fine with that. My left hip has been nagging for a couple of days now. Not sure what the reason is, need to follow that up closely.

It was a sunny morning and the temperatures were rising due to a mild southern breeze. I rode out on the Litespeed Obed for a spin around Meerdael and Heverlee forest trails. Started out with the Ignatius lap followed by a trek towards Nethen and Bossut. The trails were moist but mud was minimal. Dropping into Nethen again and then over Les Claines into Hamme Mille and Valduc. Back home along the eastern perimeter of Meerdael Forest where it swarmed with walkers.

Time for another Tacx Satori ride. The legs were still hurting from stretching and doing Core Stab exercises last wednesday so I took it easy in the beginning, gradually building up to speed as the workout progressed. The Repairman Jack novel I'm reading on my Kindle is getting to speed as well, picking up momentum . Had a good workout.

Did a 15K walk in Heverlee forest today. Following the '5 eiken' route, a 9K arrowed path that leads along some of the finer avenues in the forest, passing near the Zoete Waters and then looping back north towards the Arboretum.
Today it was raining and I did not want to ride out in the drizzle. So I settled for an hour on the Tacx Satori instead. Started a new read on the Kindle. "Fear City" , F.Paul Wilsons' latest . A prequel to the Repairman Jack and Adversory series, this is the last - by F.Paul's own admission  - in a series of prequel's , named "Repairman Jack: The Early Years Series"
The hour passed quickly and my legs were enjoying the workout.

Nice weather today so at noon I went out for a walk @ work. When I got home in the late afternoon I decided to also do an indoor Tacx ride. Riding on the Hilset for 55 minutes, maintaining a brisk pace but at an average heartrate of 99bpm I was taking it easy at the same time, giving the legs a recovery ride.

Holiday today so when the sun came out and the land was warming up I rode out with the Litespeed Obed. Starting for a perimeter ride of Meerdael Forest, Kouter Forest and Heverlee Forest. I took the bigger roads where the going was good, the occasional puddle not holding me back. The new tyre combo (Mountain King and X King) performed well and I gained some confidence whilst tackling the leaves and what was hiding under them. I did not look for technical passages, one or two steep descents where sufficient. I did not want to risk anything. The ride was fine and I enjoyed the autumn forest colors, highlighted by the rays of the sun.
