Thursday
Judge Reinhardt Meyer apparently received the confidence from the top of the SV after defending himself Thursday night at the meeting, following the many accusations that we all could read about on different boards. Insiders say the SV will deal with it later, (immediately?) AFTER the Siegershow.

Friday
The weather today was miserable!
Fog in the early hours, lots of rain (buckets), competitors had their shoes full of water. Temperatures were low, really low. It was darn cold.
The SV-shop selling warm clothes (sweaters and raincoats) was sold out in no time.
The arena does not seem to be suitable for a Siegershow. It’s normally used for jumping (horses).
The organisation seems to be a mess. Timetable was in disorder in no time. People could finally just walk in for Schutzdienst, when it suited them best.

After the first day, the stress, the cold and the rain have worn a lot of people out.
Let’s hope everyone enjoys a good night of sleep.

Saturday
8.30 Looks like it just might stay dry in Aachen this morning, allthough a little to the east, drizzly rain is their share.
12° Celsius and a little foggy, it will be a cold morning. I hope they will get my weather, partly cloudy but with with fair shares of sun. 

11.30 Apparently one is not lucky this year. Competitions have resumed in a drizzle.
Temperatures not rising (12,6° C. = 55 F.)

Zamp vom Thermodos will not perform as Woerner is a judge.

12.30 Quenn vom Löher Weg apparently will NOT participate further, no matter what his Schutzdienst was like.
Right now, he goes without a number. His score not being shown in the results list, would confirm that.
People tend to withdraw their dogs for whatever reasons.
Progeny groups have been presented in drizzling rain. Young females are in the ring now...

There is a lot of space at the top this year for new VA's.
And it's really not difficult to designate the first 5.
Who are your favourites?
Now what will Judge Meyer do with Nando? He cannot rate him VA without ruining his beliefs and his philosophy (the dog being too big!)
And for Nando's breeder, his marketeer and his owner, imagine, after being VA, now being placed way back, blown away to simple V? A blame really.

Will Vegas take it away?
Or will Agassi impress everyone?
A lot of young folks at the top there? What have they proven to be allowed in the VA-circles?

21.30 Just in: Now insiders tell me there is no doubt in their minds, Vegas will take it away. Unofficially, Judge Meyer owns the dog, and this is the reason Quenn stays away. (It was a once in a lifetime experience to make the Sieger this year, why in the world would he stay away?) He doesn't have a fair chance. Now Quenn had a wonderful progeny group, of super anatomical quality but the one of Vegas was nice also and ... bigger. Believe it or not, the overall best progeny group was the one from Zamp, but as we know, he does not compete.

The atmosphere? What can one expect?
Cold and drizzling rain all day long. People running out of their last dry shirts and sweaters. Leashes sliding through frozen hands, can you imagine?
It seems that the allegations have been discussed widely in the last couple of months. Of course nobody dares to speak out in the open, most of them are still in the race and must fear consequences. But hints are given... and questions are asked...

Now commenting with his microphone Judge Meyer must address the people and pray, yes, insist for at least a little bit of applause. Masses were silent, no outcries, just moaning. The tension could be felt in the stadium and around, the atmosphere is apparently miserable, lousy, from what I hear.
People tell me it reminds them of the bad tension of the Siegerschau with Messler, remember that?

At the same time people were massively visiting the Vets to withdraw their dogs, apparently in three adjacent lines, and in a rather agressive fashion to. Could be due to the weather?

Remember, this is all HEAR-SAY, but we will be informed later if these are accurate facts or just bad rumours.

9.30 SUNDAY

Somebody switched off the rain. All the clouds are gone!

Freezing cold in the morning, 3° C = 36° F, but the sun hurts your eyes.

Today, people will need their sunglasses!

A special eye must be kept on Super-Schutzdienst-performers Kwantum vom Klostermoor & Tiras vom Roten Feld.
And Odin vom Holtkämper Hof and Nando vom Gollerweiher should fall out of the VA-ranking. (One can visit the Vets.)
